Challenge yourself to complete 6 daily activities and make an experiment portfolio!

I have used the Creative Sprint® process to generate small art experiments that have taken me in new innovative directions in my work. These experiments become a pool of ideas I can reach into anytime I need to re-inspire myself. The trick is not worrying about creating polished and perfected work. It's about generating many little nuggets of ideas I can then pan through for gold later on!

Your project is to do this for yourself as well!

Watch the short videos in this class and follow along as I demonstrate. Each activity is designed to help you practice one of the keys to innovation so make sure you take that to heart and allow yourself to explore a new way of working in each one. Remember these are meant to be experiments or first drafts of something you might choose to refine into a new technique at a later date. **The activity templates for Make Friends with Limitations and Inspiration Is Everywhere are linked on the right of this page for you to print out and use for those exercises**
Document what you create as you go.
Share the pictures of what you created. Be sure to check out how other people work and give them some likes and comments!

Bonus Activity: Take some time to look back at what you created and spend at least a few minutes writing down some reflections on the experience. Here are some questions to help you get started:

What activity was the most challenging for you and why?
Which theme would you most benefit from practicing more?
What was one surprising or interesting thing you noticed as you worked on these activities?
What technique or way of working have you tried during this class that you would like to try again?
What can you incorporate from class into your current way of working?
