For this class project, we'll be creating a collection of five sketches that go along with the five video lessons. I suggest watching one video a day for five days and setting aside about 30 minutes a day for the assignment.

When you've watched the video, come here and download the file that corresponds to each exercise. Be sure to post your assignments in the PROJECT section of the classroom, as this will be very helpful to everyone taking the class.

In the closing video, we'll be reflecting on the process and your collection!

Video 1 (Pencil Study): Set your timer for 30 minutes and using a pencil, download Exercise 1 from the Class Resources and draw the inspiration image.

Video 2 (Black and White Study): Set your timer for 30 minutes and using any medium of your choosing, Download Exercise 2 from the Class Resources and draw/paint the black and white inspiration image.

Video 3 (Color Study): Set your timer for 1 minute. Download Exercise 3 from the Class Resources, study it for a full minute. Then put it away! Re-set your time for 30 minutes and draw/paint the image as you remember it using any medium you choose.

Video 4 (Prompt Study): Set your timer for 30 minutes. Download Exercise 4 from the Class Resources to draw the to reveal your prompt for this exercise! Follow the prompt!

Video 5 (Subject Study): Set your timer for 30 minutes. Download Exercise 5 from the Class Resources and follow the instructions for the last exercise.
