Hello, I'm Maddie. I'm a Seattle based UX designer with a passion for thoughtful, user centered design.

In my 15 years of classical ballet training, I learned to read and tell stories through body language and movement. These days I mostly use words, but I love thinking creatively about different ways to convey meaning and context through non-verbal means.

Previously, I've worked in customer service as a barista, trainer, manager, and cashier, all of which require a great deal of empathy and understanding. In these roles, I designed and iterated on the customer experience I was providing based on perceived feedback.

My lifelong passion for people, art, design, science, and tech led me to UX, and I am excited to continue learning and growing throughout my career.
