Creating with.

I drew my iPad, Apple Pencil, and my headphones (I love listening to audiobooks). I also love to use watercolors, pencils, and more recently (as in the last three days), markers.

Ingredients to my mess.

This is a very small part of my mess life. XP

I drew a tissue-paper Pom-Pom, one of my masks, a lip balm, a bow tie, a Totoro matryoshka doll, and a step-by-step art book (for anyone who loves to paint with watercolors, Amarilys has a class on Skillshare about the same thing as her book, you can find it here.)

Daily routine.

for my daily routine I drew a mix of the things that I actually do daily and the things that I should do daily.

Every day I feed my rabbit Oats, (he’s so cute!) I feed my quail, I put away the dishes, I dry the laundry, I take my supplements when I remember, and I really should but just don’t seem to make my bed (and if you are wondering, yes, I the drawing that I made for “make bed” is actually what my bed looks like, it’s a box bed and it’s super cool.)

Current cravings.

At the time I drew this, I wasn’t actually hungry (it was rightbefore bed,) so I just thought of some foods that are really good (garlic stuffed green olives and mochi.) And then I thought of how I haven’t gone on a trip in soooooooo long and I decided that that should be on today’s entry.

And I drew that plane without a reference so it’s not the best ;P

I keep wearing.

Today I decided to draw my Carhartt hat, one of my many pairs of black leggings, my LLBean “mom jeans”, a long polyester skirt, and a woman’s button down that I cut the sleeves off and now wear as a baggy tie front shirt over dresses and other T-shirt's.

Toiletry bag favorites.

For toiletry bag favorites I drew hand sanitizer, facial cleansing oil, a facial cleansing bag, and a balm I use when my hands are dry (all of which are from my parents body care business LüSa organics ,) and then I also drew my eyeliner (aka activated charcoal mixed with facial cleansing oil,) and my super fancy eyeliner applier: a paintbrush.

#OBSESSED.

For #OBSESSED I drew the Four Kingdoms books (because I’m super into Melanie Cellier’s book right now), art supplies (because I love making art), Asian food (because I love both making and eating it), a book (because I love reading), and some cool clothes (because I love clothes! Sadly I do not have the clothes that I drew. The shorts are inspired by a pair that I gave to a friend though.)

Toiletry bag favorites.

So for today’s challenge I painted a lip balm, my bamboo toothbrush, my toothsoap (yeah, I know it seems weird, but I’ve been brushing my teeth with soap since I was like two, I’m fourteen now.) all of those products are from LüSa organics (my parents body-care brand.) I also painted my lipstick kit, (so I first put on the lip balm, the the face pencil, and then I use the brush to put the white clay on so my lipstick doesn’t smear.)

Reliable recipe.

For today’s challenge I drew all time favorite pineapple upside-down cake. I always make few adjustments to the original recipe when I make it, so here they are! Butter for the shortening, no cherries, cow milk for the rice milk, what ever GF flout I have on hand for the “Betsy’s baking mix”. And I always use a cast iron skillet for the cake pan! I’d you make it, I hope you love it too!
