My 5x7" sweet peas project was painted on Fabriano Artistico hot press paper. I'm still trying to get used to hot press, it seems very different from cold press.

I changed to a different paper for the lilacs and enjoyed painting them "in the round".

I also painted the magnolia, rananculus and peony projects on round paper.

I have painted peonies before and chose to use my own technique for this project.

I had fun painting these tulips in a new way! I will definitely be painting tulips this way from now on. I changed paper once again for the last two projects, which were painted in my 5"x7" watercolor sketchbook. You can see that this paper has more texture than the other papers I used.

Irises were the final project. I had no palette knife so I painted the veins using a fine detail brush.

I almost forgot to upload this one! Painting Rananculus was a lot like painting roses. I enjoyed the technique and really liked completing this entire class.
