I'm a senior visual effects artist, and have been working professionally across a variety of industries for almost 15 years. Art and visual expression is my passion and I have been lucky enough over the years to get to work on exciting projects in both video games, feature film, TV and industrial visualization.

To me, one of the great privileges when working as a team lead, supervisor or just as a colleague, is to be able to teach and impart whatever knowledge and experience I might have gathered over the course of my career to the fresher talent of the team, and to be honest I always end up learning a lot myself in the process. I've also had the opportunity to teach a variety of subjects in design schools across the country.

A big part of why I make these courses is to help new artists (or seasoned veterans looking for a different viewpoint) get across some of the tricky technical and workflow related obstacles as quickly and efficiently as possible, so they can focus on actually making great art. Whether you aim to be a professional artist, or this pursuit is more a hobby based, personal artistic outlet, I hope to be able to help you realize your vision and take some of the friction out of the process. You'll still have to do the actual work, but at least we can reduce the time spent banging your head against the wall to get there!

Or maybe it's just a trick to create more rockstar artists that I can then hire onto my team in the future? :)
