Getting Inspired: Unlock your creative potential by embracing the power of inspiration. In this opening session, we'll set the stage by introducing the class's objectives and shifting our mindset to that of an artist. We'll journey through Unsplash's treasure trove of floral and bird inspirations I’ve curated for you, that will guide our creative exploration.
Adding Hand-Drawn Charm with Procreate: Use Procreate to wield the digital brush and transform photos, applying the techniques you've learned in the course. Let your creativity flow and add your personal touch to each sketch.
Bringing Assets into Adobe Capture: Utilize Adobe Capture to transform your Procreate designs into SVG digital assets. Experiment with customization options to achieve the perfect look.
Saving and Exporting into Affinity Designer: Export your captured assets into Affinity Designer. Apply the techniques you've learned to polish and refine your assets, adding depth, color, and dimension.
Working within Affinity Designer: Learn to harness the power of layers for organized and flexible designs, ensuring every element is just how you want it. Say goodbye to clutter with expert tips on cleaning up your creations.
Building Your Asset Library: Organize your completed assets in a way that suits your workflow. Create a well-structured library that allows for easy access and showcases the versatility of your creations.
Sync and Symbols: If you're using assets frequently, consider creating symbols and syncing them. This way, you can make global changes to the asset that will update across your design. This will be a game-changer in your new design adventure.

VERSION NOTE:

Affinity is now on Designer V3, and the V2 iPad app isn’t available for new downloads.
You can take this class using:

V2 for iPad (if you already have it installed)
V3 for desktop (currently available and free)

The interfaces aren’t identical, but they’re close enough to follow along comfortably.
