When I first made the transition from working with beads to working with metal, silver fusing was one of the first things I tried.

I love it because it's simple to get started with. You don't need flux, solder, pickle and an entire soldering set up-just a soldering board of some type, a fire proof surface a small torch and some fine or Argentium silver and you're well on your way!

I now have THREE fusing classes on Skillshare to show you exactly how to use these types of silver.

The first is fine silver hoops. In this class you'll learn to fuse wire and form it into circles + add texture and polish.

You'll also learn how to make earwires that match each other perfectly. No more lopsided earrings for you!

In our pendant class, you'll learn how to work with Argentium Silver which is similar to fine silver in how it fuses. (You can also make this pendant with fine silver if that is what you have on hand!)

You'll make 3 hoops and join them together and add your favorite chain. You'll have a brand new necklace you'll love to wear!

Now that you have new earrings and a necklace, you're going to need a ring to go with them!

You'll learn to measure your ring size using a ring mandrel, form your ring and fuse it.
