Your colors definitely do not have to be realistic
Try to incorporate mistakes into your design, or take out those stitches and try again
Ignore the rules and make what you’re excited to make
You can go back and take any lesson with Danielle again

Get started quickly with this great beginner kit (the only extra thing you’ll need are plastic hoops, if you want them). Or grab the basics separately: embroidery floss from DMC, a needle set of your choosing, scissors, plastic hoops, and optional bamboo ones.
Remember, you can use any kind of fabric you like! Cut up a shirt, try on some towel, or grab some cloth from your local fabric store.
