First of all, many thanks for your course and sharing your knowledge with us It really helped me with inking animal textures as it breaks down the different techniques and their applications.

My first time using an ink pen was back in 2019. I have just started to draw again and wanted to pick up where I have stopped, but I didn't want "just" drawing with graphite so I tried ink pen as a different medium. The painting was spontaneous and a bit unstructured as I was overwhelmed with how to do a proper shading and forming with a pen.

One year later I have tried it again, I noticed that anatomy was a bit easier for me then animal texture. Both drawings were done with a 0.1 pen.

Since three years I mainly use watercolor and try different other mediums too. But just shortly I got the urge to try ink again and so I came across your course.

I have painted a spider with a water drop on its head and a gecko (project image) after watching your course. For these I have used a 0.3 and 0.05. Back to ink - image 3 - student project

I did all the ink drawings in a little notebook which was gifted to me several years ago. This one I use also sometimes for colour pencil and graphite sketches. The paper is quite thin, much thinner then watercolor or mixed media paper but thicker than standard copier or journal paper. It worked out well for these drawings but I wouldn't use it for marker or wet mediums.
