The sky has always been one of the major components in a landscape painting, as they have various mood sunrise, sunset, clear blue skies, billowy clouds, thunderstorm and many more options. Watercolors I feel is just the perfect medium to explore it all as it gives us all the opportunities where even randomly dropping paints on paper can help us paint some expressive skies.

This is a class which can cater to every level of artist as it has the robustness to deliver all the lessons starting with materials required, understanding the techniques and supportive elements, moving on to the warm up exercises and finally the three class projects. **Watercolors have got its own randomness and flow, so always be ready to come across a few happy accidents. We will work with different stages of wet paper to generate the effects in the clouds.

**if you are taking the class for the first time I would highly recommend you to take my other class like “Easy & Simple Way to paint Clouds of 7 different Types” as it would help you to get through this one easy and quick.

Recommendation:

Watch this class on a bigger screen to get the best out of the class either an ipad, desktop or laptop.
Use any kind of watercolor material available with you except the paper which should be acid free, 100% cotton, 300gsm/140lb mould made.
All the projects are uploaded in the projects section, requesting you to download for your reference before starting with any of the lessons.
You do not need to attempt the complete class together, you can break it into smaller parts and attempt as and when you have time. Most of the lessons are having a run time of 10 – 15 minutes and can be taken anytime during the day.
Intent of the class is to provide lot of opportunities to practice through nine varieties of clouds and skies which can enable you to apply it in your own landscape paintings
