Class Project 01 – Basic Editing

Add the last 2 files to your project and edit them using either the razor or dragging method.
This project does not require any submission. Just do it as a practice exercise.

Class Project 02 – Talking Head

Save & close your current project.
Create a new Project called: Web Course - FEB 21
Import 8 Video Files
1. Exercise Files > z Class Projects > Class Project 02
Create a sequence from one of the videos
1. Right click it in your project window > New Sequence from Clip
Add & Edit all 8 clips into a finished video.
Color Correct the footage using the Lumetri Color Panel.
Add at least one transition to your timeline.
Level all the audio.
Add lower third to first video “Daniel Walter Scott”.
Export as MP4

1. Upload your video to either Behance, Vimeo or similar.

Class Project 03 – Wedding Practice

Add 4 more videos to your timeline from B Cam.
Rough cut using the Source Monitor.
1. Setting in & out points.
2. Practice using both by dragging to the timeline & using the overwrite button.
Choose music.
1. Trim the music so that it is not too long for your timeline.
Color Correct.
Color Grade.
Video Transitions.
Export your MP4

Class Project 04 – Pre Wedding

New Project, New Sequence.
No more than 2.5 minutes.
Use as much or as little of the footage as you want from the exercise files.

Choose music.
Rough Cuts first
Color Correct
Color Grade
At least 3 Transitions - Straight Cut, crossfade, dip to white or black
Add Text
1. Name of the Bride & Groom
2. Date of the wedding.
3. In the paper work
4. * This can be at the beginning, middle or end.
Celebrant
1. You do not have to use all of it.
Add the End Credit for Editstock:
1. Footage > zEnd Credit.mov

Class Project 05 – Animating Text

Save your Premiere Pro file as V2
1. Just in case you break it ☺
Add the text ‘Sign Up’ to the end of the timeline.
1. When I say “So I hope you’re ready to upgrade yourself...”
Animate the text coming in from either the left side or bottom of the screen.
Add Easing to your keyframes
Optional
1. Animate the background color box separately from the text.

Class Project 06 - Opacity Change

Get the ‘Sign up’ text animation to fade in & fade out.
You can do these at the same time using the Effects Controls > Video > Opacity
No assignment submission required.

Duplicate your Class Project 2 - Web Course – V2
Change the framing e.g Scale to reframe.
Lower thirds
1. Animate your lower thirds.
2. Using Easing
Experiment with Essentials Sound > Clarity
Background music = extend or shorten.

Class Project 08 – Your Place

You have been asked to create a short video for your place (town/city/state/county) showing people some of the experiences they could have when visiting.
This can be serious or humorous.
Requirements
1. 2 videos, same content.
  1. Aspect ratios:
    1. Facebook Feed 16:9
    2. Instagram Feed 4:5
2. Check the min & max requirements for each social platform. E.g. Length, file size etc.
3. Use free/paid/watermarked video.
  1. The video does not actually have to be of your place it can just suggest the feeling of it.
4. Background music
5. Color Correction
6. Color Grading
7. Text
  1. Must be animated
  2. Start with your places slogan.
  3. End with the text: Visit [your place]
    1. Optional: Include a quote about your place.
Share
1. When you are sharing, please describe the work you have done, things you fixed & adjusted, problems you had and how you overcame them. Let people know whether you used a Mograt template or created your own. What fonts did you use?. This helps people to learn from your project.
