I took my first breathe to the the beat of the drums in Kingston, Jamaica where my creativity was born and have been transported to the Atlantic beaches of South Florida from where I write novels, screenplays, poetry and a host of other content. I am a writer. An Author. Poet. Filmmaker. Actor. A creative being wrapped in flesh who has spent the better part of 40 years writing for newspapers, magazines and for myself.

Along with my husband Michael Brown, our company BarriVision Films has produced four award-winning faith-based Jamaican films written and directed by me, as well as two short films, one of which I was the lead actor. I am a mother, a wife and a grandmother who loves life, takes pleasure in sharing knowledge and traveling the World.
