Day 24(04/04/2021): Wow, it’s already been more than three weeks! I recently updated the pictures to my shop (the old ones were really low quality), and I seem to have gotten out of this artblock—kinda feeling and into a creative routine. This challenge has really helped me to accept + embrace imperfection, and while I’m still hard on myself at times, I think I‘m on my way to a life of productive, SUSTAINABLE artmaking.

Day 18(29/03/2021): Did some ‘‘networking‘‘ today, i.e. sending stickers to my artist relative. I‘m curious what she thinks of them. Also, I cut out the rest of the stickers and made photos to put on Etsy. I noticed that the stickers weren’t so large in the last couple listings, so maybe I’ll go and fix that. The golden fabric works really well. :)

Day 15(26/03/2021):

Drew this little guy a while ago and made a sticker yesterday. Today I was not that motivated, but still managed to create something. It’s weird, because I remember thinking ‚‘‘This is terrible‘‘ yesterday, but now I think I’ll even put it on my Etsy (and maybe make one with an ice cream cone as well:)).
Also, don’t do what I did: Convinced that it was a failure and that nobody wants my stickers I sent all my stickers to various friends (which I don’t regret) and Postcrossing members — and now I got an order but I‘m out of materials.

BUT: Definitely, definitely gift your art to your friends and family! Maybe don’t do it randomly, but as addition to or as a birthday/Christmas/insert other holiday present.

Day 12(23/03/2021):

I noticed that I’ve been drawing less often, probably because I’ve spent quite some time looking after my shop (not very successfully) and the stickers, and I think I need to set my priorities straight. While of course it would be nice if that could one day become a source of income for me, I don’t NEED it to be that, and certainly not just yet! Rather, I should focus on my work and practice, practice, practice. (And I’ll be gifting the stickers I’ve made so far to friends and family for Easter:))

I won’t be celebrating Easter with my family, but I will be sending them + my friends Easter cards and these stickers. I wanted it to look playful, but I’m not sure about the colors yet.
