For your class project, I’ve created a worksheet for you. It has three primary questions:

What kind of events do you want to plan?
Why do you want to go into event planning?
What do you hope to get out of event planning and what are you future goals?

All you gotta do is fill these out and upload! Boom, shared. I cannot wait to see what you all are interested in and what your bigger goals are.

If you are very serious about a career in Events Management, keep going onto page 2, where I have three more sections that have specific steps to help you list and reach out to organizations for event planning opportunities. This page will be more challenging, but will get you moving toward building experience -- the most essential skill of event planning. You do not have to upload this page, but if you do, we will support you and help keep you accountable!

As an extra special bonus for the students of this class, I created a checklist for finding clients. I cannot guarantee it is every single items you should do to find clients. BUT if you do this entire checklist with intention, there is no way you will not find at least one paying client within a year.
