Hello All,

I am so very pleased to tell you that I have just launched a new hand embroidery class that I hope you will check out and enjoy!

The class is a follow-on from my previous class in which you can explore more simple and versatile hand embroidery stitches that culminates in stitching a bunch of lavender with some optional grasses.

I hope you will find some time to treat yourself to some stitching time. In this class, I have provided two patterns that will take up more or less of your time, depending on your time and preference.

As a heads-up, some of you have asked for a short class on how to bind an embroidery hoop. I am planning to post this mini-class within the next couple of weeks all being well (times are so unpredictable at the moment, so exact timings are difficult to set).

After that, I will work on one more class in this beginner skills series that will look at some more basic stitches including seeding, the stem stitch, split stitch, and chain stitch. The class will also look at how you can use simple stitches to add shading to a design. I am hoping to launch the class at the end of February or early March.

Once the beginners series is completed I am looking to create two immediate classes using filling stitches and more intricate designs.I am aiming to launch the first of these classes later in the spring.
