Class Project: Create Your Own World Bank GDP Report

In this class project, you'll apply what you've learned to create your own customized GDP report using real-world data from the World Bank. This hands-on project is designed to help you practice key skills in data transformation and visualization while building something you can proudly showcase.

Project Objectives:

Transform Data with Power Query:
Use Power Query to clean, organize, and prepare the raw World Bank GDP dataset for analysis. This is an essential skill for handling messy data and turning it into something usable for reporting.
Build a Visual Report:
Design a compelling report featuring three distinct types of visuals (e.g., bar charts, line graphs, and maps) to present your findings. Make sure the visuals are clear, relevant, and visually engaging.

Resources Provided:

Raw Data: Use the World Bank GDP Data as your starting point.
Pre-Prepared Dataset: If you run into challenges while transforming the raw data, I’ve attached the dataset I used during the lesson. Feel free to use this to continue building your report.
