I had trouble with the coming up with the concept for this one. My least favorite painting so far.

This arrow symbolizes times when I am unkind or meet with unkindness - sometimes fire should just be let out.

I thought of the Japanese word satori which means awakening, comprehension, enlightenment. Our falls, wounds and aches lead us to enlightment.

Abstract art is something I feel so distant from and it is hard for me to let go. I also tried to channel something more beasty within with this painting.

I am not a very talkative person and struggle with finding the words to express my thoughts. I so admire (or should I save envy) people gifted with words. But I have so many other gifts so ... :)

This prompt unleashed so many thoughts. I probably should make a whole series out of it. I tend to hold myself back and stop myself from going for bigger goals in my life. So I give myself permission with this drawing to be braver and crash and burn freely.

I wished my parents cheered me more while growing up. I would probably have more confidence and woudn't be as timid.
