In our Final Project, we are going to make an illustration of a woman who inspires us.

In the Project Resources, you will have access to a big list of names of women who had made amazing things in different areas. Who do you choose it's completely free, and that's also the fun part.

We are a global community with a vast variety of interests, so with everybody's work we all going to learn from each other! So please, make sure you share your final illustration on the Project Gallery and if you can write a brief introduction of who she is and how does she inspires you, I think that would be pretty amazing!

So, let's put in practice all that you have learned about face proportions, mood board inspiration, skin tone mixing. I can't wait to see your work!

Margaret Hamilton. A computer programming pioneer who helped us land on the moon.

"Margaret’s mindset most famously paid off moments before Apollo 11 was set to land. The guidance computer was overwhelmed with tasks and underwent a series of restarts, triggering alarms that could have forced an abort. But the team’s software was reliable, and the priority display (that Margaret created, and fought to include) let the astronauts and Mission Control know what they were dealing with. The Eagle was able to land safely, and Neil Armstrong was able to take that one small step.”

So this illustration is my way of honoring her, her amazing job and dedication, that's why the huge stack of books is here, bigger than her, and like some kind of stairs to the moon.

The idea behind connecting the moon necklace with the orbit all the way to the moon, is to refer as her wise intuition and all the extra care she put on her job.

I know she has been a huge inspiration for many people, especially a role model for girls and women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics!
