Hello everybody,

Finally, this new class is up and I'm going to give you some back story about it, along with a full-time artist behind-the-scenes :)

I published my last Skillshare class in December, prior to this one.

Back then, i knew I wanted to create a fun watercolor pencil class next, but it took a lot longer than expected.

So what happened in my practice these past six months?

The short answer is : Growth

It's the beauty of the journey, that we all get to experience in different ways, with all the ups and downs.

My YouTube channel took off, with watercolor pencils!

I wasn't expecting this at all. Many want to learn and they needed these videos. I was working with watercolor pencils on and off back then, so I started digging, more and more, and I learned so much it benefited this new class I just published.

It's simple and comprehensive all at once, because of all the research and practice that went into watercolor pencil art in 6 months. It is the kind of unplanned event to look back on with joy since now, watercolor pencils has become my thing, along with watercolor painting.I can use them as I please, with the results I'm looking for, and I hope my classes help you do the same!

I'm on a mission to make this art medium shine, because it's easy to use, and it will give you great results when you learn how.

I started teaching weekly, at my local art school + more workshops

I teach a group of people and I have learned so much since then! It's also very fun to be able to share about the artist life, with like-minded creatives. Rare thing when you work from home, in this field.

I also started a Patreon and I've taught 3 in-person workshops since last Fall, these are a few photos of the last one, a witchy festival I mentioned in my last email to you :)

Yes, it happened, and you guys played a huge part in this, trusting my classes with your time and giving your feedback. The great news came in March, and I'm even happier with the unplanned improvement I'm seeing in this last class, thanks to all the events and growth I described above.

I would like to end this letter by encouraging you to keep practicing and working on your own goals, without ever giving up.

The journey can be very slow, long periods of time, with what feels like little progress. At times, there are major breakthroughs. And most times, look back at all happened in 6 months, and this is where you truly see progress has been made. It is amazing to take that step back and reflect!

I hope this was helpful, and to see you in class, with lots of projects and feedback from you.
