For the Class Project, you will create your digital sketchbook for your projects and ideas to be all in one workplace. With this system, you will be able to access ideas from your desktop or phone via the Notion app, either to jot them down, consult them, or browse later. Before that, we will create your Inbox and your Second Brain. Through this process, you will be able to tell how and when to use each of these containers.

During the course of the class, we will go over:

How to navigate Notion and follow along the Class Checklist Notion Template
How to set up your Inbox (a place and system where new entries or tasks will live until you revise that new input)
How to create a Second Brain for storing reference material and bookmarked information
For the Class project, you will learn how to create a Digital Sketchbook and set up a system that nourishes your work.

Before going into the Class Project, we will go over:

A guided illustrated chart to help you determine how to know if the information you want to put into Notion goes into the Inbox, Second Brain, or Digital Sketchbook.

Materials / Supplies needed:

You will need a computer or a tablet, any device with a digital camera (a phone camera is perfect)
An email account
A Notion account. Don’t worry, there is a free version!
