Hello there friend!

I just wanted to send a quick message today because I realized that in every one of my watercolor classes, there are secretly hidden (or not so hidden :p) Christmas card opportunities!

So if you (like me...) love the feeling of making handmade cards and tags for the holiday season, but suddenly towards mid-December feel like you've run out of time, I'd love to invite you to see if any of these classes below feel like a fun creative break to add that personal touch to your presents this year!

And since you've already seen what I make, I wanted to show the amazing range of projects you have added to the galleries! It makes me so happy to see you make them your own, expand on the instructions and follow your own inspiration to keep creating! Aaah, you are incredible and I'm so grateful you're here!

The most obvious holiday one is probably the Magical Watercolor Forest class, here beautifully demonstrated in Anthi's class project!

Runner up is the Wintery watercolor splashes, classic snowy scenes with cute cabins, as shown in a whole range of colors in

And then the original Watercolor Splash class, launched just before Christmas 2 years ago (time flies!), which has a cute little holiday tag lesson towards the end of class, and is also shown here with the cutest holiday themed doodles!

For me, the classic holiday colors are green and red, usually with an element of sparkle or gold, so the fact that this project from the Watercolor Leaves class used the techniques in class to make a wreath, shows how your wonderful creative minds keep expanding and adding your own touches and I love it!

Watercolor Polaroids have that format where writing a greeting in the space at the bottom makes perfect sense (at least to me ;) ) so by choosing colors and elements that make you feel festive and using them as tags, cards or bookmarks for your friends who love to read, you can make a whole bunch at the same time, as shown here by

A bit of a stretch, but wanted to add this one too, because even though I don't necessarily automatically think about Santa when I see the ocean, doesn't mean that the Jellyfish class can't be used for holiday festivities! As mentioned with the polaroids, giving a handpainted bookmark with a book for Christmas is such a sweet idea.

Ah, just looking through the project gallery makes me feel so lucky to have you all here!

Thank you for being here and for all your outstanding projects and kind reviews, it really keeps me so motivated to keep making fun, inspiring classes (maybe one is on the way...)

And can I ask you a favor just at the very end here? I know I always go the reviews sections if I'm looking for new classes, because even though the teacher might present the class in a certain way, checking with the students, (just like checking with the customers at a restaurant or the guests at a hotel) it always feels different to see when a review describes a class and what they got out of it!

So if you've taken a class of mine (or anyone else for that matter) please know how much I appreciate it, both as feedback on what IS working and to bring your thoughts into the process of making future classes, making them as helpful and wonderful as I can <3
