SaaS explainer videos are everywhere, but most beginners feel lost when starting one from scratch. Creating a good SaaS explainer requires more than basic animation skills. It needs clear structure, clean UI motion, and a strong understanding of how to visually communicate product value. In this class, you will learn a practical workflow for creating professional SaaS explainer videos using Adobe After Effects.

This class focuses on the real process used in client projects. You’ll learn how to break down an explainer script, plan your animation structure, animate UI-style scenes, and create smooth, controlled transitions that feel modern and intentional. The lessons are designed to help you improve clarity, timing, and motion quality in SaaS explainer work.

What you’ll learn:

How to structure a SaaS explainer video from script to final animation
How to turn a script into a clear visual storyboard
How to prepare UI designs from Figma for animation using Adobe Illustrator
How to organize complex UI scenes for a smooth and efficient workflow
UI animation techniques commonly used in SaaS explainer videos
How to animate product flows, UI demos, and transitions
How to create smooth transitions and clean, readable motion
How to add cursor interactions, 3D layers, and camera moves
How to refine timing and visual clarity for professional results
How to create motion that supports the message, not distracts from it
How to polish your video with sound, color, and text animation
How to avoid the most common beginner mistakes in SaaS animation

Why You Should Take This Class:
After Effects is a huge software, and SaaS projects can feel overwhelming. This class gives you a starting point and a mental framework you can reuse in real client projects. Instead of copying random effects, you will learn how to make intentional motion design decisions that actually work for SaaS products. If you want to build confidence and stop feeling stuck at the beginning of projects, this class is for you.

Who this class is for:
This class is designed for motion designers who already have basic experience with Adobe After Effects. You should be comfortable with the interface, keyframes, and simple animations. This class is not intended for total beginners who are completely new to After Effects.

By the end of the class, you’ll have a clear workflow for building SaaS explainer videos and the confidence to create more polished, professional animations for client work or your portfolio.
