Learn Lumion through a complete architectural-visualization workflow, from importing and organizing a 3D model to producing polished images, animations and presentation-ready renders.

This class focuses on practical decisions rather than isolated tools. You’ll build a scene step by step, improve materials and lighting, shape the environment and use Lumion’s photo and video effects to communicate an architectural project clearly.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

• Navigate the interface and configure an efficient workflow.
• Import, update and organize external 3D models.
• Position, transform and manage objects from Lumion’s libraries.
• Create and refine materials for architectural surfaces.
• Build landscapes, vegetation and atmospheric conditions.
• Use natural and artificial lighting effectively.
• Compose images in Photo Mode.
• Create camera movements and architectural animations.
• Work with animated phasing and panoramic views.
• Apply effects and post-production without losing visual coherence.
• Export final images and videos for presentation.

WHO THIS CLASS IS FOR

This class is for architects, interior designers, landscape designers, 3D artists and design students who want a practical introduction to architectural visualization with Lumion. Beginners can follow the workflow from the start, while users with some experience can use the exercises to improve organization and presentation quality.

CLASS PROJECT

Import an architectural model and create a finished visualization of it. Develop the materials, environment, lighting and camera composition, then export one final still image. You may also share a short animation or a before-and-after comparison showing how the scene evolved.

Share your final render and a brief explanation of the choices you made regarding materials, lighting, atmosphere and composition.

By the end of the class, you’ll understand a repeatable workflow for turning a basic 3D model into a clear and convincing architectural presentation.
