The number one question I’m asked as a writer is where my inspiration comes from. And the unhelpful truth is I draw inspiration from everywhere - from nature, from my own personal life and feelings, from the best and worst parts of life itself.

But my favorite creative inspiration is love - and hope. They go hand in hand. And although some of my writing is dark, and may feel cynical, it's real. It's authentic. And sometimes we feel these things even in the midst of love. Sometimes we feel these things because of love. I write about it because my ultimate between-the-lines message is this - you are not alone. There's a lot of hope in those four simple words.
