Illustrate a book cover for The Story of the The Three Little Pigs based upon a creative brief

ASSIGNMENT

Your assignment is to illustrate a book cover for the short children’s classic The Story of the Three Little Pigs using the attached creative brief. This focus of this class is professional practice, not artistic technique. A great project should reflect the creative brief as well as your undersatnding of the process, including excellent communication skills. This is an exercise in professional practice in illustration designed to help prepare to to take and execute future assignments with grace and ease.

DELIVERABLES

1) Share your mock email to the art director (that follows the prompt in lesson 4). This can be done by taking a screenshot or creating a PDF of your email.

2) Upload your two sketches and final rendered artwork. Please also include a description of your work.
