Step 1: Take everything you’ve learned from the class and pick four cameras that you think might have potential. Then pick one of those four cameras and write a sentence or two in the class “Discussions” section letting us know the model of the camera and why it intrigues you.

Step 2: Once you have your 4 potential camera options pick one and when you feel ready and can afford it, purchase one of the cameras!

Step 3: Once your camera has arrived in the mail, test it out! If you bought a film camera go out and shoot one roll of film if you bought a digital camera go out and shoot 36 images.

(Note: There is a link to Richards Photo Lab in the “Projects & Resources” section of this class if you need to get your film developed and scanned)

Step 4:

Once you have received your scans from the lab or you have downloaded your digital photos from your camera go ahead and post your favorites in the class project and if you are feeling like doing a bit of extra credit write a few sentences about your experience with your new camera!

Bonus: I will be participating in this project along with you, so I’m excited to test out my new camera and share my first images with you all!
