Make your own illustrated brooch

DELIVERABLE:

Choose one of the styles of making illustrated jewelry shown in the video lessons:

Badge
Traditional brooch
Paper brooch
Plastic brooch

Chosen style should match your personal and artistic style (maybe also your branding).

1) Share a moodboard for a jewel which would fit your artistic style and a picture you would like to turn into a brooch OR share some sketches of your first ideas.

2) Make your own brooch (or badge) this way and share a photo of it. If you prefer other kind of jewelry (earrings, necklaces), you can make it instead (it should be quite clear how to make them after watching these lessons).

OPTIONAL:

You can share anything from the process and I would love to see a photo of you wearing that brooch! You can also try more ways of making jewelry and share the results.

All you need for making brooches (epoxy stickers, epoxy resin, brooch pins, brooch bases, wooden circles...) you can find on Etsy or try to visit any craft store you have nearby.

For badges and traditional brooches you will need a graphic software:

Inkscape - Freeware for vector graphics

Clipping mask in Inkscape - tutorial
