2. Introduction, Download, and Walkthrough of CapCut PC: Salman a Sima. Welcome to the first video of our
video editing class. In this video, we will
see how to download the software with a little
introduction about the layout, and we will see how to work on Capcud in case you don't
know what is the cap card. It is the powerful
video editing software, which has the mobile
applications, online version, and also a version
for PC or a McBuk. As this class is
about the PC version, so to download that, just Google act for
PC or act for desktop and click on first official
link which is bycbcd.com, and click on Download for free. Save it in on any location
you want and run this file. It will take some time for the download and
installation of CapcAD. Meanwhile, we'll go to the
official website of CAPCOD. You will see the
layout over here. And also there is AI Power meet the professional
video editing experience. This is the latest tool introduced by the
Capcut actually. And in case you are a Mac user, just click on a download and we have the button for the
Windows and the Mac. And from here, you can download
the mobile application. Capcut actually owned by the same company
who on the Tik Tok. That's why you
have seen this lot of Tik Tok logos
and other stuff. Still, it is super easy to
edit the videos in a Capc. So once installation is done, you will see
something like that, but not these because these are my recent projects for
the last few days, which I have done on this
particular software. And to get started,
click on Create Project. After that, we'll start seeing the layout very much similar
for the video editor. There is a import
button for the content. You can import the audio, video or anything you want. So let's import something. We'll click on Import button. So video will come here
what is going on there. We can play and see what is
going on there and also we can just drag and drop the
video to the timeline. So once we click on a video, there are more
options available. The first one is to undo
the operation, actually. The second one is,
of course, the cut, for example, I want to
cut something from here. Like that. I'll just click here and it will
cut down my video, and the second one is
cut from the left. That means if I want to
delete this section, I'll just have to
click it there and my video will automatically
drag to the second point. That is because the
video is on this layer. If I move the video to here and also move
this one to here, we can make the empty
space between them. Also there is option to
delete from the right side. It's very similar
to the left one. Just click and it
will be deleted. The interesting part is, if
you want to bring that one back it is possible
just drag it like that. In a video editing term, we usually call it hard
cut and a soft cut. So the cap cut is actually
giving us the soft cut. And also, we can
reverse the video. It will take some time
to reverse over click. That way over video
will play in a reverse. And also, there is
a button to mirror. If I click on here, it
will mirror over video. Second last one is rotate. If I want to rotate
the video like that, so the last option is resize. That resize mean if I want
to crop some section in a video normally we can
resize the video like that. But if I want to crop some
section within the video, we click on a resize button, and we can easily
track drop like that. Crop ratio is currently
free if I want to make it for the TikTok
or for YouTube shot, I will select this 916 ratio. That is recommended
for Facebook Reels, YouTube shot and TikTok. We can also play over here. Once everything is done, we will click on a
confirmed button and O video will
automatically reset. There is a rotate button. We can rotate over
video and from here, we can select the expect ratio. For example, I
will set this one, which is recommended
for the YouTube. And we can play with that. And here is the Properties menu. There are a lot of
options from the video, there is a background
removal and also the audio, there is an option
to reduce the noise. And also with the speed, we can easily increase
or decrease the speed. There is a animation. There are a number of effects available and there
is a download button. Once you download that, it will automatically add
it to the video and we quality there is a
motion tracking and adjustment. Of course, this is
just an introduction. We will see all the
stuff in detail. On our left side, there is
one very interesting menu, which we use a lot of time, first one is import. We can import the content like the audio video
and anything else. There is a audio buden and where we can find
the sound effects, there are a lot of sound
effects available, mostly which is used
by the Big TikTokers. These are here. And also there is band music and
also TikTok sound. Are the few text available text, with the effects, and
also text templates. There are many
interesting steakers which we can use for our video. For example, I want
to use this one, click on downwarad and
click on plus button. It will look like that.
Next, we have the effects. This is very interesting
one because we can easily add the
effects with two clicks, we can add the
effect on any video, and the next one is transition
between the videos. We can add the captions. There is an option for
the auto captions also, and second last one
is the filters, which is good option
for any video editor. We can explore that in detail. The last one is, of
course, adjustment. We can adjust it according
to our requirement. Once everything is done
to export or video, just click on
Export button here. You can set the name. I will give it try and location where you
want to save the video. There is a resolution. You can export up to four K, and also there is
option for bitrate, Code format, and frame rate. Along with that, if
you want to export the audio separately,
you can click on that. It will export audio
separately for you. And the last option is
export the gift file. We can easily check that. And uncheck that and also
check the gift button. It is giving us the duration and also the size over video. So once everything is arranged according
to our requirement, we will click on Export button, and video will be exported
to this location. We will learn a lot of

3. Cut, Trim, and Timeline Shortcuts: Is Selma Nasim again. Welcome to the second video
of my video editing course. In this video, we will
see some basic timeline, also how to trim and cut the video and also we'll
explore a few more options. So as first I have already
imported this video, I'll just click on Plus button. I will automatically
edit here on this layer. This layer has the
snapping by default. That means if I
cut some part from the middle of this video
and delete a few sections, it will automatically snap
to the previous part. If I want to undo the opresion, we will click on Control Z, it will be over operations. If I see my video strip, you will see some pictures
from the video strip. If you want to hide
it, you will go there, go to track height, you will click on short. I will automatically
become very smaller. In most of the time, once we are working on specific strip,
we will not do that. Once the layer is complete, we will hide it to arrange
it for a better way. There is another
one for the tall, which increase the
image aspect ratio, and I think much
better one is default. Secondly, if I click
on Video strip, there is one circle over here, which actually work on audio. That is the audio come
with the video strip. If you want to separate it, we can separate it very easily. This circles mean that over
audio will be faded out. This operations also
reflect in Properties menu, if I go in audio section. Once I drag this
stuff over here, you will see the change
in these riders. Same goes for fad in also. We have more option in a voice
menu that is the volume. If I want to
increase the volume, we can increase it and if I
want to decrease the volume, we can decrease it at any point. There is option to
normalize the loudness, which actually seen the
red part or audio strip, it will normalize that and also reduce the noise,
which is pretty basic. It reduced some of our noise. Let's come back to
the video section. And if I press right
click on the video strip, there are many
options over here. And I want to extract the audio
from this specific video, I will click on that, the audio will automatically
extracted from the video. Now if I want to
perform some operations separately on a audio
part, we can do that. Another stuff is
a speeding part. If I want to increase or
decrease the speed of our video, we can easily do that by
clicking on a video strip, go to the speed section
and just increase like. It will automatically increase
the speed of our video. We have another
option in a duration, like if I want to speed up
on a specific duration, for example, I want to
speed up until five second. So I will click, I will press five over here
and it will speed up. It will automatically adjust their speed for the five second. Plus, you will see 2.4 X over the video strip also that if you want to change something, you can easily identify that. If I press on the handle part on a right handle part or a left
handle part of our video, we can easily increase or decrease the speed by
just rugging over here. Keep in mind, this
option is only available when you have
opened the speeding tab. If you are in a video tab, you cannot drag drop
this kind of stuff. In a video section, we also
have the stabilized options, we can test in upcoming videos also and also reduce noise. There are some levels. We can increase these levels. And also, there is a
remove flakers like you have a flashlight
or a time lapse. You can do that from here
and also motion bla. Last but not least are the
shortcut for the timeline, which you don't have to
remember every time. Of course, once you are working, it is super easy for you
to remember the stuff. But if you forget any stuff, you will go to the
shortcut part, and here are the timeline
shortcuts to split, there is a shortcut Control B and split all Control Shift B. That means if I want
to split the video, I will press Control B. It will split over video, if I want to split, I will press Control Shift B, it will automatically split all the strips
coming to the line. If, for example, I have more than two strips over here and I want to

4. Video Transitions: Salman Sim again. Welcome to the third video
of my video editing class. Today, we will learn the
transition between two videos. It is super easy to add the
transitions in cap cut. At first, we'll have to
drag off a few videos. There is a first one, and
here is a second one. I will mute the audio from the video part and drag
the volume to the minus. And we'll repeat this oppression
for second video also. So first we will see the
video is a traffic in Bangkok and also you will see the Metro going above there. And I can see I'll have to
cut a few part from here. So I will cut it from there. I'll go there and
press this one, so it will delete
the other sections. Now I want to add the transition between these two videos, I will go in transition tab. There are a number of
transitions available, and to check it,
we will go there. First, we will have to download if it is not downloaded yet. And secondly, we can test it
by bringing our cursor here, and you will see the
effect oh, yeah. So if we like it,
we'll click on plus button and defect will
automatically add it. Now, if I want to
change something, there is a duration part, we can change it from here also, and I will do that like that. I want to add another one, I will go in import tab
and add this one also, which is the walkway above
the metro station in Bangkok. And I was the one
who recorded this. I will mute the audio and go back to the
transition tab again. Let's find out something cool. So that's transition
name is Dissolve three. So I will download that
and test it before. And bring that to here. I want to increase
the duration for that also and see how it's performed. So these kind of transitions is only good if the
duration is very little. And secondly, if I don't like and I want to replace
the transition, I'll just have to
drag rock like that. And if you don't like it, just press the delete button, the transition will be deleted. So if we play the video, there is something
missing because there is no feel of transition. We can see the
transition in a video, but there is no feel. That is because there is
no SFX in a background. So how to generate the SFX with the help of AI and also how to use the library of Capcut we'll discover that
in upcoming video.
5. Exporting Single Image and Freezing the Frame: Hello, guys, Salman same again. This short video is about how
to freeze the key frame and how to export a single image
with the help of cap card. At first, to freeze the frame, first we will select the video, and we will bring our cursor to the place
where we want to freeze. For example, I want to freeze it at this duration at this point, and we'll just click freeze. So it will add another
strip that is a free strip. We can easily change
the duration. For example, I want
it just for 1 second, who will bring it like that. Net's try it one more time. For example, I want
to add it over here. I will just select that
and click on freeze. It will add the freeze section. We can easily change the
duration of this free section. This second option is how to
export a single key frame. For that, first, we will
go in a shortcut section, and in a basic, there is a export still frame, but that is we'll have to
assign the shortcut for that. Click on here, assign
it to your ID. Once the sign is done, we will assign the shortcut. Control and save it. Now when we press the Controls, the new window will pop up. And here we will write the name. I will write it still frame. The second thing is
export iquation and the third option is
two K, four K, 1080. I'm okay with 1080. Next option is format, PNG or JPAC and the last one
is import to the project. That means if you check it here, the image will automatically
import to this project also. So we'll click on Export. So you will see the still frame is important to this project. If I want to add it over here, we can easily add it and edit according to

6. Sound Effects and Text Animation: Hello, guys, Selma Nasim again. Welcome to another lesson
of my video ting class. As I have mentioned in
a previous video also, that we will discover how to use SFX effectively in Capcut. As you know, that sound effects are emotional triggers that give your visuals or
your scene a life. Without them, even most
stunning scenes or most stunning imagery feels empty because sound is
the hub part of picture. So to add the sound effect, we will go in audio
section of cap cut. And there is a sound
effect option, which is the whole library of cap cut full of sound effects. We can search it over here. Like, I will search
keyboard typing, and there will be a lot of SFX related to the typing like
this one and this one. With the slow speed with the slow speed and
the realistic. So I will add this one and
bring that to here and also reduce the sound
of the sound effect, also add the fade in
and fade out from here. And now you will see
that there is a typing, but there is no text, and we will add the
text from here, which will be the default text. I will add that to here. And as you have
seen this snapping, the snapping is actually
coming from here, that is enabled from here. And also, I will add the text is Winck I will bold this section. We can add the color as we want. And also, there are a number
of effects available. If I want to add this effect, we can easily add it. I like this one. I
will add add it here, and we can scale up and
scale down from here. And lastly, the opacity increase and decrease the
opocity and also the stroke, if you want to add the
stroke to the text, and a lot more option
related to the text, but we want to animate

transition to here. Let's increase the duration of this transition and

a little bit. So lastly, there
is another option to generate these sound
effects with the help of AI. So for that, we have one
tool my dit dot online. We can generate the sound effect with the help of this tool. They are claiming the best AI sound effect
generator for everyone. Just click on generate
sound effect for free. There is option to write
down the prompt and also the inspiration for a
few prompts with the output. We can try this prompt, but we want sound effect
for our transition. So we will write
down the name of this transition
that is parameters. So let's first
write with one word only and click on
generate sound effect. It will take a little
time to generate and mostly three sound effects
with ten second duration. Let's play. I don't like
this one. And the last one. That is better. We'll
click on Download, and it's time to bring that
sound effect to the cap cut. We will bring that
to the import part, and it will be added. We will click on Plus part.
That will be added here. And we will bring this to
here and bring that to here unless and I think

voices, female voices. First, we will test
the trending voice. For example, I want to test

we will learn how to record the voice
over inside the Capcut. We have already learned how
to gonate the voice over with the help of AI and also
inside the Capcut. But what if I want to record the voice over of myself
or anyone from my? So for that, go and click on this mic button
is called VoiceOver. Once you click that, the
new pop up will be appear. From here, you can
select the input device. If I want to connect my mobile, I will use ARN
webcam that will use Mmbile as microphone
and also for webcam. Second thing is volume. We can increase or
decrease the volume. Lastly, the echo reduction, if you are in a room
which have the echo or some kind of the
stuff, you can check it. And if there are more audios inside the cap cut
just like that. So once the presets are ready, I will click on record button. The most important tip for video editing is focus
on your storytelling. No matter how advanced your
tool or techniques are, your primary goal is to craft the narrative that
engage the audience. So I have recorded

in import section. And also there is a
audio strip here. We can go and edit this audio according
to our requirement. For example, I want
to reduce the ie. I want to increase the volume, so it will become a

to change my voice, there are only a few

9. Keyframing in CapCut: Hello, guys, Salma
and Sam again. We have already covered most
of the basic in this class. I think it's a right time to
discover about the keyframe, how to do the keyframe
in a cap cut. But first of all, in case you don't know
what is keyframe, keyframe is the
fundamental concept in the animation
and video editing. We mark specific
point in time where the particular properties
of an object is defined, such as position,
scale or opacity. It's a definition, but
I'm not a definition guy. I'm good at practice. Let's see how to do it in a cap cut. So first of all,
whenever we see the properties menu will
see these boxes, which means add a keyframe. Whenever I want to add some specific marker
in the keyframe, that means this property will be recorded based on that
particular point. For example, I'm right
now in this point, and I have added a
keyframe on a scale. That means the keyframe
will be added. You will see it, see it here, we can move it anywhere else if I want on this specific strip. And now I will change
my location in a timeline and scale
it up a little bit. The keyframe will be automatically added
to this property. You will see the second
keyframe over here. And now if I play back, you will see the animation
of our video strip. Yeah. If I want to change on a specific
point, for example, I want to change starting point, I will just change the
properties like that, it will automatically change. Now it will scale down
like the zoom out work. I will little bit zoom out
because of my second keyframe, even though if I want to
change something here, because there is no
location keyframe, that's why or video
will stay here. So let's delete that and add the keyframe according
to our requirement. I will press the
delete key to delete the keyframes, and first of all, in a starting of my video, I want to show the calendar
from the video part. So here is a calendar, zoom a little bit like that. So I will add the keyframe for the position for the scale, for the position, and
also for opiocity. The first keyframe is added
on these three properties. Now I will bring back my cursor to here where I want to change some specific stuff
like I want to show both person
over here like that. So it will automatically record all of the key frames

it on a decline. So now you will see

of my keyframe, I will just press the

that, there will be a drop. So that in a scale also, there is a little drop
and then there will be a stay on a consistent level. This graph mostly help us
to create the animation, and there are few
presets over here also. For example, I want
to add it over here, and I will add this
one like that. Now, it's a basic cer. If I want to change something, we can easily change
it like that. So hopefully, you

important in a video editing, especially for creating
a smooth transitions, animations, and virtual effects. B with the help of keyframes, we can control the change

discover how to add auto subtitle with
the help of Capcut. Like the subtitle will be automatically added
to our screen. For that, we'll go
in a text section. There is an option
for auto caption. Click on that and Capcut is asking me the
spoken language. There are a few more
languages options here, and also there is Autodtect. Check the remove filer words. And also, if the subtitle
is already there, just click on lead
the current captions. With all these, we'll
click on a journey button. It will take some
time in a generation according to the
length of audio. Currently, our audio is
only 6 seconds long. That's why it's
generated so fast. If I bring my cursor over here, you will see that there
is a caption over here, but that is not displayed
according to my requirement, as I like because it is not visible at anyway
on these colors. Also the caption is
visible over here. If I want to edit something, we can edit it like
there is lgBT. It is not LGBT, it is chat GBT. So we can change
that if there is some spelling mistake
or anything else. To make the good visibility, we will go in a text section. We can change the color
from here like that. Also there are a few
presets which allow us to select select from here and
it will display it like that. But more interesting stuff
come in a template section. For example, I will
select this one. I will show us like that. It
will highlight the speaking. You're currently doing on the screen was

11. Tips and Tricks to Speedup the work: Hello, guys, Salma Nasim again. This lesson is consists
of tips and tricks on how to handle the
project inside the cap cut. The projects are very important. If you want to become
a video editor or a professional,
practice is a key. Keep yourself motivated and do the daily practice on at
least small projects. Currently, I have opened my recent project which I
have uploaded on my channel. It is a YouTube shot consists of almost 59 second
almost a minute. This is the recommended
duration for YouTube shot. Currently, YouTube also allowed to create the shot
for three units, but still mostly creator prefer to keep itself
in a 1 minute duration. So currently project
is in Hindi or Urdu. I have the translation, which I have done
it with the AI, there is one famous tool for the translation is
called Risk AI. Here you can post the link
of your YouTube video, and that can be translated
into more than 20 languages, and the results are awesome. You can also see
that in a while. It is pretty easy
to work on that. We'll go back to the cap cut, and I have the translation part. Let me bring that to here. Let me add this track to my
timeline and once I move that the other strips
will automatically attach to my video strip, which is quite annoying
and why these are showing this behavior because
of this linkage, and once we turn it off, we can easily bring it to here. As per my requirement, I don't need this video because
I already have it here. I just need audio
from this strip. So there are two options. One is go in a blend section and reduce the
oocity to the zero. And second thing is, which
is quite more professional, that is right click on your strip and click
on Extract audio. So the audio will be
extracted from the video, and we don't need this
strip, we will dilute. So the current problem is we have this audio,
but if I play it, there will be a mismatch
because there is a Hindi or a Udu
audio over here, and we'll have to hide
that and how to hide it. I don't have to go on
every strip one by one. Just select all like that and go in audio section and
bring it to here. Capcut is smart enough
