1. Introduction: Hi, I'm Bobby from actually handcrafted. I'm a violin agility maker to this January meeting glass. I have been making generally follow along time now, I love experimenting, trying new designs and developing new patents on my Etsy shop actual ahead drafter. But I also lots of detailed tutorials for different designs and the frame techniques. Those can be a part of your creative journey when you learn. I think is a very versatile technique of January making. It requires very few tools and with a few techniques which you have law and you can create beautiful eligibility. In this course are along to create the beautiful Frazier design. It's very detailed and very cute. You just need a few supplies listed in the course. We'll start by learning the two different weaving techniques that are used to create this payment P by two weeks and figured it belonged to create a frame and set the storm within the frame. And with the techniques that we have learned, we will create the paresthesia pending 50 on YouTube, either paint and just beginning, then do take the wire wrapping for beginners course. Dependent, using single via technique. Depending course before attempting does reject design. It doesn't simple yet beautiful design and it is really flexible. You can change the shape and size of the stone asked by your availability. I'm showing you a load to create a free jump and link with me. If you have already, then let's start by dipping. 2. Tools & Materials Used in this Class: Let us now look at the materials and tools that we will be using in this class. We will need one piece of dwelling children, 18 gauge square wire. Two inch long, 18 gauge half round via two pieces of orange long piece of 14 gauge half round wire. We will need 4-inch long 20 gauge round wire. 15 inch long piece of 21 gauge square bio, 78 inch long piece of fertigation around via. We are using an oval cavitation stone for this project. It is around 13 MM by 89 women size. Any beads of your choice? I have used copper beads of two MM and three MM. In terms of tools, we will be using Jane nose pliers, round nose pliers, flush cutters, firebombed oval, 15 MM doorbell. 3. Weaving Technique : 3x2 Weave on 2 Base Wire: Let us now learn the three by two weaving technique on to base virus. For this, we are using to six-inch long 18 gauge round wire for practicing that 36 inch long 28 gauge round wire off as weaving while leaving via perpendicular to one of the base values. Like this. We will start by wrapping over the first b is vital for three rotations. We will add the second base file, hold both of them together with one hand. Now we will wrap over both wires for two rotations. One, this is of a one rotation of weaving. Again, three rotations on bees via 11232 rotations or both base wires. 123 rotations on wire 11, two rotations on both wires, 123. And again, one. Keep pressing the weaves together to make sure they're nice and uniform. As we are right now weaving on round wire, we can pull the values and adjust the position of the leaf. But on square wire, that is not possible. Continue to weave in arithmetic way to get the best weaving possible. And keep pressing the weaves together. This is what this weaving looks like. Now we can cut this extra via and at the beginning. Always make sure to secure divine properly with pliers. You can continue to be for as many rotations as needed to practice the weaving technique. I'm going to stop here. Whenever you are ending and weaving view for one of the virus photo few extra rotations. And again, security via end with pliers properly. This is our three by two V on to base virus. You will notice that it appears same from front-end backside. 4. Weaving Technique : Figure 8 Weave : Let us now learn the figure eight VIF on codebase virus. I have 220 kHz round base virus. There are code in this manner. The top wire has a shorter coal and the bottom wire has a broader call. I'm using 30 gauge round wire as a weaving viral. This can be changed as per the design. To start pick the broader called Vieux, that is the bottom wire and wrap the weaving via over the base. While for two rotations, this will secure the weaving wire to the base via second rotation. Go down from the outer side of the bottom, via come up from the center. Go over the top file. View for 12 rotations on the top wire. On second rotation go down from the outer side of the top fire and come up from the center of two wires. V1 d bottom bio for one, three rotations. This is our one rotation of weaving. Come up from the center of two wires, go over the top file. View for one. Rotations on the top wire. Second rotation, go down from the outer side of the top, fire and come up from the center of two wires. On the bottom. 13. The vial B is virus code. Always have more rotations on the broader CO and less rotations on the shorter code via our case and the top while we are doing only two rotations. And in the bottom wire we are doing three rotations of weaving. Gentle tension in the weaving Y0 to get uniform views all this time, make sure while leaving the base virus should not get deformed. Keep pressing the VIF together to get nice clothes waves. This is how this looks at this point. As we go ahead, the pattern will be more prominent. The number of rotations on each wires will need to be changed depending on the cause of the virus. Repeat for as many rotations as needed. The weaving by tapping over a single base via photo few rotations. This is our figure eight view on codebase virus. 5. Freesia 1 - Creating Frame for the Pendant: Today we are going to learn these are symmetrical Frazier design. It is a fun project and teaches a different method of setting cabbage on stone. We will start with an oval stone. This is an amethyst of 18 MM height by a 13 a member. This design works perfectly with different size tone also. The thickness here it is around four to five MM. This is just for reference. Step pfk-1 is to make the frame for dependent, we are using a 12 inch long 18 gauge squared via markets center at six inches. Now using gene nose pliers hold the via the marked point and for the virus to get this kind of a V shape. This is what we are looking for. Now please. The stone at around two centimeters from the bottom. This is the center point of the stone. At two centimeters. We will mark this point on both sides of the vials. Adjust so that the stone is absolutely in the center. Use anything cylindrical. I'm using a similar diameter tool that I have. Please the vile as such, make sure that the marked points also match the center of the tool. We will now go off the virus to give this kind of a diamond shape where the stone will make the center. You can adjust the ship at your fingers to get it as symmetrical as possible. Keep adjusting till you are satisfied with it. The overall height of this frame at this point is around 44 MM. It will change depending on your stone size. Our stone will be placed like this. And dissenter. Yes. The land on both sides of the center should be a theme that is what we are aiming for right now. Now the wireless intersecting on the top and we're going to mark that point using pliers. We will fold both virus out. For the virus out to again get the V at the top. Like this. Make sure there is no gap between both virus. Now, you can adjust this broadness of the v as per your choice. I'm going to keep it this broad. At this point. This frame is ready. This is our frame. And our next part we will continue by making the bail for dependent. 6. Freesia 2 - Making Bail for the Pendant: In this part we will be making the belief or dependent. If you already then let us start. I'm using a 30 gauge weaving bio for this purpose, it is 36 inches long and we will start from one of the wire ends. Take the flame and we are going to insert the value from the center. Bring it at this point where the virus and perfect. And we are going to wrap around any one of the virus for securing the beading wire to the frame. This fade the viable hold its position better. Card the extra via and using ketones and secure the VIA and properly. Now tighten the VIA and using pliers. We are now going to be doing figured it to weave for the bill. We're going down from the center. We'll bring the Via up on the other side, go over the Via on the right side, take the various back to the outer right side. Again, bring the Via back, the center, go down, bring the Via out from the outer left side over to the left side VIA. Again, go from the center. This time go across to the right side while this is above one rotation of leaving. It is a figure-eight view width, two rotations on each side. Every time go through the center and go across to the other side. For the first few rotation, makes sure that you hold the frame formally. That is no gap between both wires and the shape of the V or the bail is maintained. Continue to view for ten to 12 rotations at this point. This is how it should look. Now, using pliers, we are going to fold both wires up just a little bit that it becomes perpendicular to the base. On the other side. Again for just slightly. Now both wires are parallel to each other with even distance in-between. This distance is around seven MM for me. But it is up to you how much broad bill you want. You can change it accordingly. We will now continue to view with the same weaving pattern of figure-eight. We've V1 12 to 13 more rotations at this point. Let there be gentle tension in the vial value of even. This will give you most nice views. Once we are done, we will again use the pliers to fold the virus in towards the center. So hold it at this point just about the weaving. For the virus in. The opposite side again for the buyer in now you can see both wires are intersecting at this point. From here, we are again going to fold the virus out and make them parallel again. As you can see, now, both the wires are parallel and we have this point and point which we have to continue to weave. Make sure that we use are tight and near each other with no gap in-between the weaving rotations. This will again be more ten to 12 rotations. Continue to leave till you reach this point. To end the weaving, we will V01 any one of the virus part of your rotations. This weaving looks similar from both sides. We will cut the extra weaving bio and drop the Via end properly using pliers. This is very important. Our frame along with the weaving for the bail. Now ready? Next part, we will add this virus as base for the stone. We will also shape the bail. 7. Freesia 3 - Creating Support for the Stone to Set: In this part, we will make the supports for the stone to set and we will also shape our bill. Start. We will first create the support for the stone. At this point, we don't have any support for this tone to set. We are going to be using two pieces of 18 gauge half round while we will forest mark its position. One of the supports will be at the top and the other one will be at the bottom. Market equal distance from the center. Half round wire has curvature on one side and it is flat on the other side. We will first straighten the via using nylon suppliers. Make sure that the flat side of the vial is facing you as this will be a better stable support for the stone. Now we are going to wrap over both sides for one or two rotations of the vial and on each side. Using pliers tightened the wrap. These are two inch long via pieces will cut off the extra via and unwrap the virus such that the endpoint is within the center of the frame. This is just to make sure that there are less ends on the outer side. You can cut a gain of needed. Tighten the fold with pliers. Similarly, we will do the other side. Now make sure the central bio is pretty tight and it does not go down. This way. The stone will set more nicely within its frame. We have now to adapt one of the supports. And you can see that it is very flat and it is very straight. Going to keep the stone in its position. It similarly, we will add the second guy on the top, make sure the flat side is towards you. We will again rap for two rotations. Also while wrapping this, you may damage the frame shape to be very careful. Let there be good tension in the wire. And also make sure that you do not apply so much pressure that the flame gets deformed. This is very important or device the shape of the pendant will completely change. Frame with the support is now ready. This is how it looks. This is how our stone will sit and its position. You can see that it is pretty straight and the stone is sitting properly. We will now shape our bill. We will now shape our bill. Now make sure that this is our friend side. I'm using a five MM doorbell. I'm going to shape my bail according to that. Please. The doorbell on the back of the bill at the center and call the virus down like this. Pass the virus out from above the frame bio support while and pull them up from the front side. Push the virus from the backend, pull them up from the top. This is how it is at this point. Both wires out on outer sides. This is what our frame looks like. Now. We have shaped the bill properly. We will cut the extra virus from the frame. Viral leave just enough to wrap over the frame for one rotation. Using pliers for the virus down and to the back. This is a thicker wire. It will be good if you walk only wet playas and not just with hands. Try to use square bios for creating the frame as they are much more stable than the round wires. But this can also be done with the 18 gauge round wire. Flame is now ready, are bail is now ready. This is how a stone will set. The next part where we said the stone using 14 gives half round wire, which you see here. 8. Freesia 4 - Adding Half Round Wire over the Stone: In this part we will talk with the 14 gauge half round vile and added over the stone. This is a four inch long piece of 14 gauge half round wire. The curvature is on the top. Now we're going to call the vial and this shape and set it over the stone with the flat side towards the stone. I'm going to give the shape using my fingers. The curvature is on the top right now, using your fingertips, shape the viral. Be gentle. Make sure it remains flat all throughout. Like this. This is the kind of shape that we are looking for. It will hold the stone from the left side. Using nylon your pliers. We can also slightly adjust the shape if needed. This is how it will be placed over the stone. Using a Markov, we're going to mark the outdoor and points from where we want to fall down. Now this cannot be done with just fingers for 14 gauge bio, using pliers for the wire down from the marked point. This way we have a C with wires going down, but will also cut the extra virus at this point only before applying it there. So cut extra via leaving around one centimeter, which is enough to wrap around once or twice around the frame via the frame and the stone and position. By doing this, make sure you do not damage the frame. Its shape should not be changed. Hold the stone and the viral form live with one hand. This is a little tricky at this point, but once this wire is applied, the stone will be pretty stable. For the wires down. I'm using my fingers just to give the shape. I'm also cutting a little extra. We are only going to wrap one around the frame bio. I'm using the pliers, tighten the vial. Now for this step, the store needs to be in its position as the height of the wire will be determined from the stone height. We're later going to remove the stone, but for now the stone has to be placed within the frame. Similarly, we will call the vial, will just shape using our hands, place it in its position, and fold the virus down to the back. Keep adjusting. I'm again cutting a little bit extra as we are only wrapping ones who were the frame wire towards the back region. For this step, 14 gauge wire should be dead soft. It will be much more easier to use. If you are new to violate opinion one, to learn the basic terminology, then you can definitely take the wire wrapping for beginners scores that I have standard will be much more easier for you. Wrap the wires on both sides. That extra is wherever needed and tightened using Jane nose pliers are 14 gauge wire is now set. This is a half round wire and it will hold the stone from the left side. Yes, this is the shape we want. The next part we will walk on this weaving, which we have on the left. 9. Freesia 5 - Adding Weaving Element: Hi. In this part we are going to be adding this weaving component that we have here. This is the component we are using two different views and we are using two different virus. Both virus or 4-inch long. This is a 20 gauge around while, and this is 21 gauge squared. While. We will mark at 1.5 inches on both wires from one of the ends. We're using participates in children weaving vile. And we will wrap the weaving bio on 21 gate squared bio at the marked point photo few rotations. The B is why it is dead soft. It can get deformed very easily. So it is better if you are gentle by holding it tight and the vial and using pliers. This one's secured a weaving wire to the base. While now we will add the second vial at demarc point. And now we will leave over both wires for two rotations. This is three by two view. It is three rotations on one bio and then two rotations over both wires. Keep us started with them to get the best viewed as possible. We are leaving port 14 complete rotations. The number of rotations will change if you're using a different size of stone. At this point, we are going to call the V Virus. We have 21 gate squared vile below and we are covering using our thumb. We want the curvature to follow the curvature of the 14 gauge half round wire. And we will place it like this with the shorter bio and towards the right. That sweat are shorter via end or the marked pointers. Now we will use the inner via that is the square Biot and COVID to follow the curve of the 14 gauge half round via make sure that the both wires that domain flat and parallel. The second bio, we want a little gap between both wires, so it will follow the outer frame line and the inner vial will follow the 14 gauge half round via CO. This is how our values are at this point. Now we are going to view the figure eight view, which we did in the bill. That is the same view. But our virus are curved. We will add more rotations. On every fourth rotation we will come down to the inner via on another die of we will do two rotations and go back to the outer viral. On auto bio do three or four rotations. Here I'm doing full rotations and then come back to the inner vial. The matter of rotations you will have to adjust depending on your code. If it is slightly broader, Daniel have to add more rotations on the outer viral. Check it on the frame once in between to see how many rotations do you need? We want to view till the outer edge of the frame. So keep on leaving within touches the outer edge of the frame. So I still need a few more rotations here. You can keep on checking on the frame to see if you are done. Leaving component is now ready and we will now attach it over the frame. Always make sure to talk to you via ends using pliers. We are now going to cut the extra virus at the bottom. We just need enough to wrap one's around the frame bio. And we don't want the violence to be seen from the top. Make sure that they are hidden beneath the weaving that we have just done. Take your time. The virus and are attached at the bottom. Now for the top wire ends, outer wire, this wire is 20 gauge around while we are going to take it down. And we will pass it through the bail like through the center of the beam and bring it over to the left side. Like this. We will now cut the extra bile and drop the wire end here. Just start into position with pliers. Now we have this squared while remaining on the right side. We will work with that. Hopefully mess finally getting ready. We will now take the square wire. We will again pass it through the bail, bring the Via back out to the left side, out to side. Now at this point we will add a bit to this fire. I'm using it to MM, copper bead. But of course you can use any bead of your choice. Pass it through the 21 gate squared while please it in this position just at the bottom of the beam. Now we are going to wrap the vile ones around a bit like this. You can see how we are wrapping around the bead will go counterclockwise and direction. Now tighten this first angle with pliers so that the matches the curvature of the bead. And rap for one full rotation. Now using pliers slightly first card, then dot divided towards the back of the bead. Basic framework is now ready. We have attached a bead and divide. And here you can see the violin for the square viral. I hope you are enjoying yourself. This is done. Now in the next part, we will set the stone using this y on the right side. 10. Freesia 6 - Final Stone Setting: This is the final step in creating the spending will be, I think, stone and add this wire on the right side are the fewer the components. So let's start. This is nine inch long piece of 21 gate squared. While we are first going to give it a shape using our fingers, gently curving from approximate center of the viral. We want this kind of a C-shape. We will now inserted just below the 14 gauge half round while. But before that we need to place the stone and position. Make sure it doesn't the center. Now we are adding this wire. We pass it below the 14 gauge and about the stone, pass it through the gaps. The Via Godel, the other side, opposite side. Now pull it from the opposite side. Is setting over the stone and holding it from the top. Now take this bottom by ion and bring it back to the right side. Just pulled it down at the back and bring it back to the right side. We now need to adjust this position on the right side, we want the Via just about half round while bringing it in position adjusted properly and make sure there is no gap between both wires. If needed, use pliers. And we will also use pliers to tighten this folder over here. Gently tighten the fall so that the wire does not move later. Keep on adjusting. It is okay if the stone is still moving, as we have not yet secured both wire ends. Now we are going to call this wire up, follow the curvature of the half round Y0, go up. Yes. We have a three-year forum ambit. I'm again using a couple of bead. You can use any bit of your choice. The beat to the vial and place it just to the right code via from the beam. Let it sit in that position. And now we're going to wrap the wire around the bead. We are covering the VIA in clockwise direction around the bead. Continue to call and take the wire back to the outer right side. This is how it should look. Device back to the right side. It will cut extra wire, then wrapped dividing over the flame via on the right. Now we still have this other iron from the 21 gets squared. So we're going to call that fired up, go over the bead, go back, come back to the friend coil and wrap over this fire here. Take this while. We're gently going to call the wire up to the right side of the top bead below the bail. Go divide around the bead, go down from the left side, bring the wire backup to the right side. We can adjust this goal till you are satisfied. Has to follow the curvature of the three by two V we have below. And it has to be smooth and naturally formed. If you are going to use pliers, then make sure that it does not create any dance in the bio. As you can see, our y's back on the right side. Now we're using a 12 inch long piece of weaving bio, and we are going to coil over this file. Now as this is squared value, our coil will not move later. From the beginning. We have to place it at the final position. I'm just wrapping it photo few rotation to secure the building via got the starting extra bile. Secure the wire and now will this slide the coil down and then continue to coil, coil over this fire, fire length of around one inch. Make sure the coil is even and close to each other, so it is around one inch. We will cut the extra via. Now we want this file to call down. We will follow the call of divided around the bead at this point. Go down, follow this curvature. Bring the Via back to the altar right side. Now, but we'll wrap this wire over the nearest frame by frame, wrapping it over the bail Vieux that we created in the beginning. But it can even be wrapped on the outer right side frame viral. Adjust the coal and wrap the VIA and properly. Now at this point the student should be set. You can move the pendant a little bit around to see if it is falling or if it is moving at all. I'm securing the stone even more by tightening the base bias little bit from the site. Type in the viral little bit. And if you find the difference still moving, then you can use a little bit of 30 gauge wire to wrap this. When you engage while along the frame bio. I have not found it necessary so far. Just a little bit of tightening and tweaking helps make sure that this particular virus is squared viral. That will help secure the stone more nicely. This is the last component on this two-inch piece of wire which we will add below the of a good date with. This is again 21 gate squared. While we will insert the bio from below the weaved component. Below the support or desktop support of the stone, like this. Now wrap the top side via end over the frame viral. Got little bit extra and rapid over this frame bio. Now that the top is secured, we will call the buyer down to follow the curvature of the figurative. Bring it back to the right side, outright side for a match. For the wire down and got extra wire end. A secure divined by tapping it over to the frame bio. Kvl, almost done. Appending does now ready? Now it's up to you to adjust all the parts till you are satisfied. Make sure that the stone is nice and secure. Yes, definitely. You can try this design with all different sizes of students. It works really nicely. Ideally hope you enjoyed. Thank you. 11. Conclusion: Congratulations, you have just completed the course. I hope you enjoyed creating duality in with me. This was just the first step towards learning to via them. By wrapping is all about manipulating the virus.
