1. Introduction: Hello, my name is Writer and welcome to the Windows 11 troubleshooting class. Here we will learn how to diagnose different issues with your laptop in using Windows 11, integrate the tools. I have personally ten years experience in the global organizations to support staff with different computer related issues, both software and hardware. I have been working with different windows environments since Windows 98. And this class is suitable for people who also would like to take up career in IT support. And also the people who would like to self-learning and upgrade their skills. In Windows 11. Here we will learn about different diagnostic tools integrated to the Windows. Already. I will give you hands-on tips on my own experience and how to find and solve the issues in the fastest and easiest way. Does I think that these scores can be essential for everybody who is interested in the topic. The course is good for the beginners, but also could be watched by the people who already know around their way in the Windows. Because Windows you may discover something new. And I think it's very useful overall. So let's go ahead and start with the first lesson. 2. Task Manager: The first lesson, Let's start with the task manager because that is one of the main tools to diagnose different problems in the Windows and also see the different resources used by the applications. Do you start the Task Manager in Windows 11, the easiest way is to right-click on the Start button and go to the Task Manager. By default, the Task Manager is really not showing that much information. So we want to click on them more detailed spot them. And let's put it to the full screen to easier to see what's going on in here. Now, one of the most important tasks is to process step, which is also selected by default. Here you can see what kind of applications are running and what kind of background processes are running. You can also sort them alphabetically. Now, what we would like to know most is the CPU, memory, disk, and network usage of the different applications. For example, if we have a problem with the slow computer, then the first thing to find out is which of the applications and background processes are using the most CPU, memory or disk. To do that, we lead, we will click on the CPU, for example. And it will sort them by the most using applications. And we see that in the top comes up now Windows Explorer, which is a new click on this, we always see the most CPU hungry processes and the first. And once you scroll down, we notice that the rest of the apps are really not taking so much using so much percentage of your CPU. Thus, in that way, we can determine which program is giving a heavy load to a computer. And we can determine what action we would like to do about it. Of course, the first thing we can always try to do is end the specific program or a task, which you can do. If we right-click on the task or the program and click on the task. At the moment, here is the audio device which we do not want to do because you don't want to close it because it is used to record a video. However, here we also come up some program which is crashed or is just because of some bark using too much resources and you can easily close it here. Second part is the memory. You can sort it the same way. Notice also that you can see the total memory in use niche at the moment is 72 per cent. Now, in typical computer, we do not want to go into 100 per cent. If it happens, that will considerably start to slow down your computer because once the memory it gets full, it starts to use your hard disk space to save the information. And it is considerably slower than using the integrated system memory. This is why, first of all, the laptop computer in general should always have sufficient memory. And if you're troubleshooting for this, for a person having constant problems with full memory, then the main thing to, to test will be to add additional memory. In this particular computer, we have 16 gigabytes and we can see that it's already using got quite a lot. But that's also connected to the recording app I'm using. This is a very good way to find out the power, sorry, the memory hungry applications. Here, the same deal with the disk. So it could be that the computer is slow because especially for the older computers to hard disks are not very fast. Now if Theresa application, which is writing or reading a lot of data on the disk, it can slow down the fold. Bc, a small prototype here. If the user is using still an old hard disk, not SSD, then there is a heavy recommendation to upgrade the hard disk to the SSD drive. Because that can make things much, much faster. Because the write and read speeds on the SSD drives are very much bigger than the normal heart. The Network tab is actually not that useful. The reason for this is that the percentage you see here is how much it is using up for the total capacity of the network adapter, which usually are about one gigabit per second adopters. And what people's eaten at speed. Almost usually, always is lower than that. However, you can still see how much a particular application is drawing up from the Internet. You can, for example, see if the user is using some kind of torrenting apps to download something from internet, or they just have forgotten some download in their browser. And that is slowing everything down. The cheap view users is more like inflammation way because in normal work it is not that high. Anyway. It is rather used in graphics heavy applications like game, games, 3D modelling and such. So to sum up here, you can find a program which is taking up a lot of resources and you can identify it and then if needed, you can close it. The next step in the Task Manager is called the Performance tab. Here you can see a little bit more detailed information about the CPU, memory, disk and Wi-Fi usage. For example, in the CPU tab, you can see historical CPU activity. You can see the current utilizations and the clock speed of the processor. You can also see how many processes are running at the moment. In my opinion, a very important thing, you can see BC uptime. The problem is that many users tend to not do many times restart your computer because it's really convenient to just keep it running, keep all their tasks and applications running. But this is not good for the PC performance in the long run. Because the longer you keep it running, the more it accumulates the background tasks, the cached files. And not to talk about that, the updates are not doing during the PC running time. So it is always good to ask your user, or do it yourself to restart the PC at least once per week. Now, since I think in Windows eight, if you shut down your PC and start it back up, the uptime doesn't change, because actually it only changes when you go and actually click on restarts. And if you don't do that, then if you start off the computer, it just loads some of the information, again from the hard disk. And it's not doing the same tasks as the restart tasks. If we want really to the fresh start of the computer, you will always need to do the restart. The many users do not actually know that. And they think a but a is shutting down my computer every day. So why you still ask me to restart? Well, exactly for this reason, the restart and the shutdown or not doing the same. And to be sure, we should always make the restart at least once per week, even if you shut down your computer every day. The memory type is giving us a general overview of the memory in use. And the desktop is giving us some statistics of the discuses. The Wi-Fi is giving us some charts of the Wi-Fi network traffic at the moment. And finally, in the cheap View tab, you will see the GPU usage information. Tab in the Task Manager is to start up that unfortunately at this account, I don't have at the moment starting applications. But normally, you see most of the apps that are starting with the windows, and you can manually enable or disable them. This is very good. If a computer has too many programs starting up at the same time, then you can choose to click them, right-click them, and choose to disable the startup. That can, first of all, increase the startup speed of computer. And also the speed of computers in general, because there is often unneeded tasks and programs starting with the computer, which do not need to be running. For example, a user may have downloaded some add-ons, some additional software which is running in the background, but not doing anything goods. In. The user's tab shows you the login users. It is not that useful maybe in the single use scenario. However, if multiple people are using the same computer, right now I have two users logged in. You can see both of the users how much their memory and person CPU percentage using these in Task Manager. Finally, the important tab is also the Services tab. The services tab includes all the windows and third-party services that are running in the background. In the older times, it was necessary to sometimes go and disable some of the services to make the computer faster. In modern times, the computers are already so fast that in my opinion, tinkering with the services most of the time is not required. And you may actually do more harm by disabling something that should be running with Windows. Personally, I would leave this ICDs unless you know exactly what you're doing and you know that there is a need to disable the specific service. For example, if there is a program which is starting with computer and distorting its own service. And you know that it's making issues come to the computer, for example, causing performance issues, slowing it down, or a discretion to Windows Overall, in that case, yes, it is good to try and stop the service here. 3. Resource monitor: The next thing I would like to go talk to with you is about the resource manager. If we are going back to task manager and record performance step, you'll notice that down here, it is not done. Open a Resource Monitor. Let's click that. Now, this is an advanced tool which is giving you much more details than the Task Manager deeds. And you can have details about the CPU disk and memory usage. This helps you to find specific problems. If there is an application which is using a computer resources too much. For the CPU, you can find exact process. But in my opinion, the most useful part is actually the disk part. Because in older computers, you had a hard drive LED, which was blinking when something was using the computer, hard disks. So you know that the computer was writing and reading files. The heavier it was blinking. The usually the more data bus transfer. But already many years ago, the producers decided to get light feature because most likely they thought that it is no longer important for the people to know because everything has gone to more simplistic Fe. And it is estimated that the less the people know, the better Do not confuse them. But we, as an IT specialist, need to know what is going on in the background. So if we expand the disk area, then we will see the details of exactly what is going on on the disc at the moment. I, in my opinion, the most important types here are the read and write data. If you click on the right tab, we see that actually the most of the disk writing is used by the recording gap I'm using, which makes sense. And the second is the page file, which refers to this, that the memory is getting full and it's using to saving some of the information on the hard disk. This can be very useful. For example, first, if you would like to know if some program is doing anything at all, it could happen that you are, for example, installing something. Andesite part is not moving at all. And you would like to know, is it really doing something or it's just sitting there and you should close it. So what I usually do is I go to Resource Monitor and try to find the program under the desk and then I see if it's doing any right or Reed's work at all. If I see that there is minimum Burke and none at all, that means that the program is most likely crushed. If you see that there is a bright and read going on, then it means that it's actually doing something in the background. And although the program may look like it's frozen, it's actually still doing something. In that case, just wait because the program may finish what it's doing and still come back from the freezing. Here you can also see more details about the network. For example, which of the programs are sending and receiving information from the Internet and from the memory tab. We can also see the memory usage in more detail. I think Resource Monitor should be your friend. And with this tool, you can find out quite well what the progress of actually doing and if they're doing anything at all. Okay, let's head on to the next section. 4. Device manager: Next, we will look at the device manager, because that is the first place. Then we can see if any of the connected devices are integrated devices of the computer may have problems. Two ECS to find Device Manager is just click on the search box, search icon and typing Device Manager. Here, you will see all the integrated and connected devices off your computer. If everything is working properly. This is the way you will see it. Devices here are crewed by their type flex. For example, cameras, D6 derives display adapters and so on. Now, if there is a problem with the specific device, you will see a yellow exclamation mark, which will indicate that there is a problem with the device. If that happens, you have several possibilities base to solve them, hoping that it is a software problem and not a hardware problem, then the tribal road array installation will most likely happen. You have two options to do that. You can do try to use Windows to find a new driver, which is most likely the fastest way. You can double-click on any of the device. Let's say this integrated camera here and click on the driver tab. Important thing always to check is the driver version. You can see that this driver is for 2021 February, which is a bit more than a year old, and it's not too fresh anymore. For some of the devices, the drivers are not too often new, renewed. So pretty much in that case, it is still okay. Now, if you want to update to the newest driver, we can click on optic driver. Search automatic for drivers. And yes, it says it's already has the newest driver available. The reason for this is that when Windows is doing updates, usually always tries to update also the drivers for the devices that are already connected to the computer. That is why it's trying to keep most of the drivers up-to-date. Now, if you notice an exclamation mark, the yellow Marcucci Dr. Before, then it means that most likely it was not able to download the driver automatically. If that happens, you should go to the manufacturer's page and find a specific driver. If it's a if it's a notebook, a laptop, that is quite easy, you just Google for the model and search for the drivers. Many of the laptops have their own tribal searching app. For example, the Lenovo, Dell, HP business models all have their own apps which can find the drivers for them. For example, a Lenovo computer has Lenovo system updates, which if you start it, you can go and find the drivers. It's very easy. It's contacting the Lenovo or database and finding the drivers. By itself. It's a little bit time until the processing the information and comparing what kind of driver should be downloaded to your computer. Let's give it a bit down. And we see that actually, although I didn't update it not too long time ago, it's still found two critical updates and for Recommended Updates. Now, if you are troubleshooting your own BC or somebody else, B, C, making the driver updates is one of the first things you should always do, even if the device manager, you don't see any problems. Keeping the drivers up-to-date is really, really important so that the computer can run. Well. Let's close it for now. So basically in the device manager, what you can use it for is to find out what kind of devices are connected to computer and what kind of equipment it has. For example, we can find out which processor it has and which graphics card it has. Mentioned before. We can find out which of the devices may have problems. Sometimes if you add a new device to the computer, it may, and it doesn't appear automatically. The device manager then click on Action and scan for hardware changes that will tell the computer to scan for the changes and find new devices. Another thing which can be useful in the device manager is to see if something has gone wrong, more specifically with the driver. So for example, if you click on the graphics card and to click on Events, we can see that in the first January, device installed was requested, which in this case means that it was upgraded to the new driver. So for example, if you have a user who says that suddenly he's webcam era or graphics card or mouse started working beard lay. Then you can go back and see under the events if in the recent time was any changes in drivers. If you see that in the same time when the problem started for the tribal installation request, it may mean that the new driver messes something up. In that case, what you can do is right-click and choose uninstall device. In that way, the current driver is removed. If you do this, you should always restart the computer to make sure that the installation was actually successful. On installation was successful. And see what happens after the computer restarted. There is a high chance that everything will start working. However, these player in mind that if you do this, then the computer will automatically install a new driver from the Windows updates. And this sometimes may not be the best driver. It may not be the driver which you will get from manufacturer's website. It can be, for example, an older version of the driver. If it works, and it's all okay, you may leave it at that. But sometimes it is good idea to go to the, even if it works to the manufacturers webpage and still try download the driver there manually or use the integrated download their app for the drivers. I showed you earlier. Alright, let's move to the next section. 5. Event Viewer: The next thing I would like you to show you is the Event Viewer. And it's very important application which will actually show all the significant events that have gone on in the windows. To start the Event Viewer, click again on the Schwarz-Bart or the search box and type in Event Viewer. Click on it and they ventricular, which starts. If you look at here, we say here is a custom logs, windows logs, application logs and subscriptions. It's true you can do quite many things in debate beaver. But to keep things a little bit simpler for this course, let's concentrate on the windows locks because that's where the maturity of the stuff is happening. So expansive windows, logs and the most important logs are usually under the system. Now by default, they are sorted chronologically, which means the newest are on the top. What you see is, what you see here is basically if any application, windows component or program has stained, any change can be the windows itself, it gets locked here. The lowest level is information. And that means that there is not really any problem. It is just it just means that something's changed and that can be used to troubleshoot. If this information finally came to a problem, then there is a warning. In my experience, you can ignore most sustainable earnings, the realities in Windows background. That is all the time something going on. And most of it is not actually changing the computer performance. Almost none at all. Then you have IRRs. Same codes here. Yes. There is something under the server, but this isn't really not relevant for our computer adult. So if the most First things, if you click on the level, we can sort it. The first thing you should worry about is the critical errors. In that case, we can see that onetime my computer has crashed without clear new shutting down first. This is a very vague error, unfortunately, because if you look at that, it doesn't really give you too much details what happened. It just said basically the computer crashed. We don't know why, but we do want to know why. So if you come to experience this, then you should find out from your self or the user. When did the computer crash? And find out what kind of events they're close to this critical events. Because usually it also has a buck Chuck Close by. Now before the score, I tried to find puck check for this specific error, but unfortunately it wasn't available. It's been a very stable computer and it's been working well. So yeah, I couldn't get the park check for this one. But if you do find it, then in the park check is a code which you can use Google to find out more specific problem. So let's try to find quickly in Google, sum x sub sample of the park. Check. If you boot Windows, Bach, check and event log. Here we can see the computer has rebooted from puck check and you get the puck check code. Now the first one before this brackets is the most important. If you copy this and put it to the Google, you may start to get different results. Us an idea administrator then need to go and start through the forums to find out people who get the similar Park check. And you may start to find solutions. Someone can say it's a harder problem. You've made maybe a driver problem, and according to what your filings, you may start to find different solutions. So whenever somebody's computer crashes, it is important to find out what the puck check keys. And in my opinion, this is one of the most important things in the event viewer to find out the park check. The next thing here. You can just find out all kinds of events. Because there can be so many things. User set, the computer shut down unexpectedly at 4PM. What you will do is you will go to the 4PM and see all the events that happened at that time and see if they can give you any important information. For example, it can see computer went to sleep at 4PM or the power source was disconnected. Maybe the battery wasn't charged. The person disconnected it. Maybe the PowerPoint. It's maybe it says the power button was pressed and the user didn't actually press it. So it may mean that the polar pattern is faulty. So whenever it's something going on and there doesn't seem to be any obvious reason to it. I recommend to go to Event Viewer, find out the time this happened and see what kind of events are going on in there. Here. As I said, the most important stuff is under the system. But you can also go to the application. The application is giving you events from specific programs. And finally, you have a setup. Most of time. Here is information about different windows updates. However, you can also see events when you are installing or uninstalling something. Great. Let's move on to the next topic. 6. Internet connection troubleshooting: The next topic, I would like to talk about troubleshooting network problems. Now, the net per problems could be one of the most difficult things to diagnose, especially if the user don't have any internet at all. Hopefully, do they have because then you could, for example, using a remote program to enter their computer, or if you are physically in the same location, it makes it easier. You can actually go and see what's going on. What are the first things to check? What are the first thing is to check? So first of all, we should check if the person is connected to the Internet. If you click on the Wi-Fi, you see that the Wi-Fi is blue and you see which kinds of network has been connected in. We can also see the order networks available. We discovered that the person is connected to the network, but they still cannot access the pages they want. So what we wanna do, the Internet is full of different guides. You can go to the command line and start putting in all kind of goes to clear the DNS cache. But I will give you the two main tricks, which IS sure will most likely help you to solve the problem unless the problem is not in the computer and it's connected to the router or internet service provider. So the first fix I am giving you is if you right-click on the Wi-Fi and go to network and determined Settings. Scroll down, go to Advanced Network Settings. And here is network reset. Sorry. If you do the network reset, it will reset all the network settings. This will do all these jobs. You will see an Internet when somebody is putting into the command line. But it does it in one go. The only negative impact, in my opinion is that it forgets all the Wi-Fi network passwords. So if the person has been traveling and looking into different Wi-Fi networks and save the passwords, they would do it again. But I think it's a small price to pay to solve the problem. Because if the problem is inside of any of the network settings gone wrong, that will fix it. Now, there is another thing that can be causing the problem. And this is the Bronx DNS settings. Now, T and S stands for the name domain name server. And by default, domain name server information is given by the internet service provider. In my experience, I've noticed several times that you study the problem with the internet service provider. The DNS may not work correctly. And although you have Wi-Fi signal, you have internet connection, the beep pages are still not opening because of the wrong DNS settings. So what do we do in that case? Let's go two more Network Adapter Options and find the adopter they usually using. I have here several, but most likely that is usually just do that is by phi. Usually there may be even one just to buy fine. But there could be also the Ethernet line if the computer is supporting two. So in that case, in our case we are using the Wi-Fi Soviet growing. Double-click on the Wi-Fi adapter. We go to Properties. Here we choose Internet security protocol version four, TCPIP for double-click on this. Now, by default, it says obtain IP address automatically obtain DNS server automatically. This means that this information is asked from your router and the router is asking it from the service provider. Know, what you would like to do is to change the information for the DNS. So we use used to following DNS address. And what I recommend to use, use do you use cuckold DNS, so which is 88888844. And click on Okay. And Okay. Now the computer will use the Google DNS server instead of service provider. And again, in my experience, this has helped a lot of problems with the connectivity. And these two tricks should help you to fix most of the Internet related problems. If night of this fix, what I recommend is ask the user to make our mobile hotspots and try if you can answer. If the internet works, then if it does work, then it means that the computer is working well. E sub able most likely to connect to the internet. So the next thing is to ask the user to restart the router. And if that doesn't help contact service provider and let know that there is no accessibility to the Internet. 7. Audio and webcam issues: The next thing I would like to talk about different audio and video problems that users may encounter in Windows 11. Yup, It happens sometimes that the user is saying he cannot hear some fun, or the microphone is not working, or the web camera is not working. This thing is actually quite often fall into the same category. And roughly I will say it is caused by two things. Either a wrong audio or video source is selected, or there is a privacy setting enabled, which is not letting to use, for example, the microphone. So for the audio, click on the audio icon on the taskbar. And here is his soul small arrow, which you can use to manage devices. You can see which of the playback devices is selected. Right now it is my headset. And another one is to integrate speakers. If we go to more volume settings. From the molar volume settings, we can also see the input for the microphone. And the same we can see what kind of input device is selected. Thus, make sure that the user has selected the device for outputting dB, but which they're actually using. For example, if they're using a headset, they should make sure that the headset is selected. Now we are concentrating on Windows 11. However, if they have an older problem, they should make sure that the same device is also selected in the app they're using, for example, Skype or Teams or Zoom. Because if the person cannot hear them there or they cannot hear, it may be correct in Windows, but B May be wrong in the app. So it's always important to find out if the correct device is selected so that if the audio source is correct, the next problem could be coming from the privacy settings, either for microphone or the camera. So for microphone, if you start typing in the microphone, we see that there is a microphone privacy settings up. If you click on this. First of all, let's see if the microphone access is enabled at all. Then you can see specific apps that can use the microphone. And down here is the desktop apps. No, windows has divided the apps so-called, or either the Windows Integrated programs or the apps that you downloaded from the App Store. And the desktop programs are the ones which you downloaded from internet as a desktop. In any case, you need to check that everything which the user is using is allowed here. And the same goes for the camera privacy settings. So the camera is not working for the person. It can also be that is disabled in the camera privacy settings. So click on the camera privacy and find out that it is allowed for the applications. The user needs to use. Easy steps. You should be able to solve most of the camera and audio related problems. 8. Display issues: The next thing we will look at this screen settings. Now, it could be that the user has a problem with the screen. For example, it is too blurry. The text is too big, the text is too small. Can be different issues. Inventors 11, and that is a quick place where we can check and fix all of these things. To do that, right-click on desktop and go to display settings. Now other things to watch here, I'd say the two main things are display resolution. It should always be to recommend that. Now sometimes user may accidentally change it to something lower that will drastically reduce the image quality. If you put it to anything under the recommended, there is a high chance the screen gets blurry. So that's the first thing. Check that it's recommended. And generally it should be the highest resolution possible. Then second thing is the scaling. Now, there is a many modern computers that have a very high resolutions for k 440 p. And if the screen is small, then the windows is using scaling. So basically it making everything bigger on the screen. Can be goods, can be bad depending on situation. My recommendation here, if the screen is very small, like a laptop screen 1413 inch, it is okay to have someone who that 50 per cent. Although my personal preference on laptop screen is 125 per cent, because that will make things a little bit bigger. Can show it, I can show it to an hour. Let's say an always on under 50 can see the icon sizes here. If you put it to 125, it gets smaller. What's the benefit? More stuff actually fits on the screen. And unless the user has a paradise, I do recommend that we go on the small icons because it's more productive, we can do to get more work done. And finally, if a person is using external monitor, for the external monitor, it should be always 100%. I do not recommend to you soon there because productivity, it is best that you are using most of the screen and be the best resolution. I don't have currently another display connected. But if you do, then into multiple displays, you can also see what kind of screen is connected. And you can choose if the screen is duplicated, which basically means that the same information is shown on the base both of the screens. It can also be that the screen is extended, which in my opinion, is the best option if you're using an external screen. Extended means that you have, you can have one information in one screen, another, in another screen, and you can drag and drop programs between the monitors. And finally, you have option to see, show information only on specific screen. Let's say you have an external monitor connected to the computer. You choose surely only unscreened two, which is the external screen. And then it turns off the monitor screen and shows on it there. In this multiple screen section, you can also find out if users are some problems. For example, the picture is not coming up on the monitor. You can come here and see if it is set up correctly or not. 9. Disk management: The last lesson, I would like to show you about how to find and solve hard disk and SSD issues. Actually, they may not be an issue at all. It's read it, the information it is important to know. Then user gets a new hard disk. I said the addition that are already being in the computer or they buy, for example, external drive, or they just have a problem. In general, the heart is really create integrated tool called Disk Management. Again, let's open up our search box. And if you start putting disk management, we see that there is a great and format hard disk partitions. Let's click on that. Now, this great tool is showing us all the disks, the physical disks and partitions in your computer. Basically, you can divide the top disk stuff to do. First of all, is the critical trials. As you can see here, is disk one and disk 0. And on the physical disks there are partitions, partitions, archaeological spaces, which actually Windows disabled to see you can still have a physical disk, but if it doesn't have any partition, it doesn't mean anything to the windows. And you can only see it in the disk management, but you cannot see it in the File Explorer. So if I have this dirty gigabyte disk one, but if I go now to File Explorer, it is not here. I just see my industry. That's it. So the partitions are the most important here. We can see only the B into C partition because these two here are he didn't. And that is fine. Because one of them is system partition for system files and another is recovery partition. However, here we have all statistics fun, and it's says on located and it doesn't appear at all. And this can happen if a person buys a completely new hard disks and plug it into the computer and nothing happens. This is when you need to go and create a partition on it. And it's locally quite easy to do. And this solves many of the cases when the user comes to you and says, I bought this new drive, plugged in, nothing happens. So open up disk management, as we did. Right-click on this allocated space and choose new simple volume. From here. Click Next. Now you can choose how big the partition will be on the disk. By default, it is the maximum space. Right now, this is actually a memory stick drive. So it's fine. We used the maximum space. However, you can divide it into smaller parts. Let's say. You must put the size in megabytes. So it's, let's say 15 thousand megabytes and then another 15 thousand megabytes. Meaning you have two partitions actually for the test. Why not? Let's do this. I'm going to put 15 thousand megabytes, which is feasting giga. It will ask you to have a target letter. Now, the tri must always have a letter. Windows. If you haven't assigned one, The Venus doesn't detect it. Let's click on Next. The file system should always be NTFS. The fat 32 is the old file system, which is no longer a blip bigger. Well, it has certain limitations. Most obvious one is that the maximum file size can only be two gigabytes, which is way too small for the more than time. So for the volume, we can, this is basically what is the name. So we put here, let's say this one. Click on Next and Finish. And you see that autoplay already found out a USB drive. Let's go to Windows Explorer. And we see we have now a new trial here, 146 terabytes. And as I said, we had a t gigabyte disk. So we actually, what I did was that I didn't use up all the space. That is why d sub during cold of the smaller. Also in the Disk Management here, we can see that there is a unallocated space still. So we could do a new simple volume. Now, we can use up the rest of the space. We get the new tribal leader. Let's use again the anti. And click on Next. Click Configure and new volume ie arrived. Now, we actually created two partitions on the same one physical tribe. So this is very easy. Yes, it's true, it's right now we're doing it to the pen drive, which is not so maybe meaningful in the real life. But however, if you have a physical drive inside of the computer, can be useful to have different partitions. So you can keep your files separated. Say you have a window strive and then delta try for the files. Also in this discipline atom program, you can find out hallways, the start too soft to hard disks if it has an active partition, if it has a drive letter. 10. Final Words: Thank you very much for joining me in this window. Sill haven't troubleshooting class. I hope this information which you gather today is useful for you and you can put it to use Toyota car year of being an IT specialist. Or you can use it to help your friends or yourself and to troubleshoot and fix your computer. See you in the next class. Thank you.
