The next type which replaces telephone interviews is video. We're face to face with your interviewer. This enables potentially a whole number of people in the companies interview either same time or separately. The one on one interview with a recruiter is going to assess if you meet a brief of the clients and also if you can present itself really well to the clients as well, what a mom of a char would be to use fit the specifications directly of the requirements, but also would you fit into the company? And it's more about getting facts. Meet with talent acquisition is poor because they contacted you. You could be a high priority candidates, and therefore it wants to attract you to the company. When you meet with the hiring manager is probably a final interview and it's much more socially base. Do you get along or establish you probably have the skills required for the job. Parallel interviews can be a group of people, possibly from the team, the hiring manager, HR, and they want to or guess an opinion of you, possibly a final five candidates, and assess which one is going to be the most suitable to make an offer to. And they can come to consensus together. But the one thing is most important about all interviews as being prepared, not just your CV and Cassian LinkedIn Straits, but also about looking presentable. So when you have a video interview or you have face to face or a panel, you always want to look your best. You need to show that you are serious about the job. You want to be taken seriously, but also to research maybe on the people who are interviewing you. And do you have anything in common? This may help build rapport for you. And you also want to thank them when he leave and give reasons why you are the right fence and add value. Again, just one sentence, summary of exactly what you're talking about the last one hour. So there may stages and the size of interviewing. Each one seriously, always be prepared, of course, dress appropriately. It may help you stand out more positively, increase your chances and progress throughout the interview, particularly if you're doing a children's small chats. The job description. So study which subscription where you really well and look at your skills that match exactly what's being asked for and your experience, the highlighted interview, have an idea of the salary range before going in CSPs, just in case you're asked about this check glass door for market rates. This also help you avoid disappointments. Should they be lower than you're expecting, It's all meeting it's bay. So review your CV and highlight the skills and requirements relevant to the topic. Let's take about a CV width. You have those skills and experience highlighted so you can match them with the job description. So refers to your CV and SV, as it says in my CV, you don't have be looking at it all the time. But when it's talking about some skills and experience, as it says in my CV, highlighted skills and experience relevant to the job description. And of course it goes without saying dress appropriately. All interviews, you just want to look your best to make a good impression when you have one chance to do so. Even for automated and live video interviews, it's important Sudoku bass. Obviously be honest, introduce it always looking for weaknesses and looking for reasons to eliminate people. So discovering a lie will damage your chances irreparably. Listen and ask the questions I've been asked and clarify. If you're unsure, it's important to make sure you understood exactly what's being asked. I know also helps you then to answer in a positive manner. Ask questions. You should always have a few questions being compared to show you're interested and engaged. Go into T cell, talk about some successes. You've had a relate them to the skills required for the job. This means successes of job related, taught by a strength relevance for the job. It's your chance to shine. So always say, I am really good at this. Obviously arrive on time, arriving at least 10 minutes, maybe 15 minutes early helps you to relax. Be that just in case interview starts early, offer a confident handshake or elbow bump. Use positive language and friendly eye contact throughout. This just helps again both rapport and at the end, not only have you asked your questions master on the way out. And I've pre-prepared a small talk rapport topic. So just as you walk into the left, because just have a topic you can swap out and just avoid any awkward silence is really finish on a high notes.
4. 3 Mistakes to avoid : One thing is always be positive throughout the whole and severe. You go one hour. Stay positive, positive body language, smile, maintain eye contact. Use open gestures. Avoid talking negatively about previous bosses and colleagues. Even though you may want to, even as utterly justified, you just don't want to come across as a negative person who may disrupt a new company and not facing. So that would seem discussing your successes and that coupling of course, but obviously do so in a manner that's not necessarily boastful, but just matter-of-fact, do not actively discuss any Peleus you had. Well, obviously, if you are asked questions about that, but be prepared to answer how your became as in a positive way. In the early rounds. Avoid talking about compensation, salary, you don't get Turing's that conversation. After all, Chris for set price does not make deals. Salary, it is not control your career. It's more about the opportunity and what it does, but be prepared to be asked them what may seem like a silly questions, and wait for your turn to speak and answer politely. Such questions. Have answers to tell me about yourself. What are your weaknesses? Where do you see yourself? Hey, you need to have answers to these questions. It's okay not to answer questions that relate to personal, family matters. You could always say amongst us and the relevance and its job interview. Please clarify. Keep your phone on silent so you don't have beeping all the way through the NCBI. Keep it at a size as well. Now boy, pain under prepared and show your knowledge of the company and how you would face in how you will be an asset. And have a few questions to ask to show your interest in the company and why you are the best posts. Choose. People sit, discuss relevant skills relevant to the job description and experience. Show how you are wise candidates are higher.
5. 4 Overcome nerves: Okay, overcoming nerves. So every interview, even if you're nervous, there is matter who you are when you're facing other people, protect the people, mess before. And you may have watched The Apprentice in the UK. And when I get through to the final round span of five, they get really interrogated on the interviews and really ask some critical questions. Really, most of the time, interviews are not really that's hot, but can be. So don't get me wrong. There can be some brights up once and write tricky questions bus. And often an interview is just as nervous as you are very keen to break the ice. These could be future colleagues and they really wants to try and get along with you, as well as identifying you have the right skills and experience. And I certainly don't want to scale up great time. So either if you have somebody who appears to be the right fit for the job, they're going to want to keep you interested in accompany on them, but make no mistake. You OOP in assessing charged to other rounds. And so you're going to be nervous and is quite normal and being aware that you need to just keep it under control, but also have a good night's rest, void stimulants like coffee and cola before the interview. Try to get a good night's sleep before interviews while time is going to pay a memory, make you look on interests it and you definitely don't want that. You want to come across as bright, sharp, and really engaged. So coffee can help with memory, but also can make you nervous on SAS or does it get your heart rate going? But you didn't Subway does better for you. If you expose the person ends up wetness. You may want to have a light workouts in the morning just to get your energy out and get more relaxed. For most people, going for a walk for the first last five minutes before going to the venue, the NCAA see right, that 15 minutes before it's Chu, to actually start is always a good idea as you relax and guess and see interview. And you can yourself enough time to prepare mentally for us. Well, maybe try some breathing techniques, you can prizes then we go online, learned about when off, dress appropriately. Looking professional can help you feel good about yourself. And also make the interviewers respect to you a bit more, make you feel a bit more at ease. Indirectly. Try to do some research on interviewers. Maybe use things in common you Harvard and help break the ice and conversation. Preparation is everything in the preparation of the key questions is fundamental to give me confidence. I hope you come into those key questions for prayerful will always include, Tell me about yourself, why you want to work here? What are your strengths? What are your weaknesses? Should, why should we hire you? Do you have any questions being prepared for all of these things long before he has any institute is really, really critical. That preparation can help swing the opinion and your favors, your pet confidence as you answer the questions with positive answers. And of course, using positive, friendly gestures as you go along may potentially be mirrored by the people who had been inspired by. And that actually helps create a natural Bond and rapport. And again, always have questions prepared for the ends of the interview. That was impressive and keeps good vibes going. So that many stages and tied to Interior be prepared for the key questions. Get a good night's, rest of boys stimulants dress appropriately and competently repaired those key questions because that's how you gain your confidence.
6. 5 Phone interviews: So phone interviews, potency was a quite common, particularly in the early rounds though the LPNs superseded by video interviews. But you're still going to have some experience which or over the telephone. And so they are usually for pre-screening to East scheduling, maybe HR person we'll call the top 20 potential candidates took 30 candidates. It's good to ensure that you have a good quality headset. And we're talking, ideally plug it into goods causing good sounding voice and make notes as you're going along. Make sure your room is quiets, where you're doing the voting is free from and that it does not echo. And echoes can be a real killer. Practice recording some answers and see how you sound. You come across clearly and positively. Ensure there are no background noise is aircraft or machine works could distract you. And also it may seem in formal as you may be at home, but take us seriously as any other institute, it's really important to get this right. You don't get it right. So be well-prepared even for this interview on the telephone, you want to have all the background research to accompany the job? No. See that maximum skills and experience to the job description, you must have all that ready. Look at actual phone. They can't see. You can look at your notes, keeps a hand job description and a CV. Ideally, you have these prepared with the skills quiet and you're matching skills and experience, use positive gestures as this can be felt over the telephone. I just speaking. When answering be pulsive, avoid negative language and speak clearly. Appends, have questions prepared even for it's fun and it shows you interested, engaged. Summarize by thanking him and highlighting that you are excited by the opportunity. And give the reasons why I'm excited about the opportunity related to your background students more you want to go with your career. So I'm sure you are being disrupted and shorter sanitary avoid echo, get good headset. No scripts. And be expressive and smile. Mitchell interests over the telephone even they can't be seen.
7. 6 Automated interviews : What's my sit interviews. So when you are on an osmosis interviewed, you know, talking to anybody, but he still needs come across really, really well. They're looking for your pre-screening, your pre-qualified at the right skills and speech may answer. Some stickers also answer some questions potentially on a phone. Video. Your cause your answers to a series of questions could be three or four, could be 10. And it might also be potentially time to written. You'll probably have an option to use your phone. I would suggest that the best thing to do is use a PC with a good camera and a good audio equipment's. Because you want to sound as clear as possible. You will have good lysing. Make sure you can be seen clearly and heard clearly. Most modern smartphones are pretty good with that video quality and sound quality. Just get on the stand and just practice talking in sweat. Makes sure the phone camera and the camera on a PC or laptop is looking into your eyes and make sure that the room is Bryce and quiet and does not echo and say come across as clearly and effectively as possible. Again, make sure there's no background objects I could potentially to strengths. I'm from you talking and answering the questions. And when our string, again, that the animators smallest bank you avoid negative language speak clearly. It's good to just not sound flats. So you need to have a few positive in front of gestures to come across somebody who is interested and interesting to talk to and take down the interview process.
8. 7 Virtual Interviews: Video interviews. This is whereby you're speaking to a person who actually physically with them, but you can see each other over the screen. And I make one person they did panel for a common nowadays, replace a lot of phone interviews because we have see somebody Qc h is far more clearly the kind of person you are dealing with and you can pick up other things as well. Obviously, again, like ponies, music, voice, traveling to the interior repeatedly, sudden your answers very, very important. I suggest using a PC for a video into your laptop rather than a phone, but you can keep your phone as a backup. I'm going to stand with the earpiece as well, just make sure it can be heard clearly. But it could cause he might propose any PC laptop will make you sound more clearly, clear and reduce Echo and could cause the camera will help you be seen with nice image and press record some answers and see how you look and sound and makes sure that the room is bright and quiet and does not echo. Echo can be really, really distracting. Make sure not to me background objects that can distract somebody when they're talking to everyone. We focused on you as the insecurely given Kp, your CV, and your job description close to you. So you can refer to them. Though you're going to be looking way too often or phonemes, we can do that. Pretty wins here. Your needs better for but try maintain a contact with the camera. Try to memorize you, save in job descriptions much as you can with a matching skills and experience are acquired so you can talk fluently. And again, it might seem in formal because you might be home. Let's take it as seriously as any other institute. Trust appropriately, be well-prepared to answer all the usual standard questions that you might ask. Prior research needs to be a scan helps to break the ice. You'd know something about, you maybe have something communist spores or a hobby or some previous experience versus in common. And that can really help obviously research the company that job and get your skills and backgrounds matched to those requirements. When answering, again, be animated, I'll still be posted. Avoid negative language and speak clearly. And again, smaller, less about love. Do it. Always tries to think about maybe just using a few positive and open gestures. It shows that your open, it gives the impression of being more honest. At the ends, have some questions prepared. As always, it shows that you are interested and engaged in the NCA process, in the company and in the job. And summarize my thanking and bam and highlighting that you are excited by the opportunity and give your reasons why you're excited about the opportunity and how it matches your career goals and what you can add to them as an organization. So just appropriately do plenty of preparation. Makes sure the sound is clear and sure you are being disrupted. And make an extra effort to be expressive and smile.
9. 8 Introducing yourself: Introduce yourself as an opportunity to make a great first impression. So you need to do it perfectly each and every time. So trustee professional, it goes on saying said every time this crazy grade possible question the balance sheet before you even say anything. So it's very important to try and arrive 15 minutes early to do a final read through of everything that you want to say. So you're mentally prepared, you're relaxed. We're missing the interviewers is important to smile. Shake hands, elbow, bump, fist bump or whatever is appropriate. So at that particular moment, weights, we offered a place to sit as well as this will also be assessed location within a room and its importance. People like to say thank you and wait for a question to be asked. If asked institute itself, Ben, briefly state your name and your skills and your experience that match the job description grape or if I have a specific qualities that you're looking for, say then state your relevant skills and experience for the job list of those skills versus a job description. And I'm ready to take on the challenges of this role and be a great success. So you make it an open statements going in and making sure that your segment is clear. It could have 300 people apply for the job and the only interviewing 20. So you now here, you've already done quite well in the qualifiers. So you can see some quite starts. You need to give a well-prepared and rehearsed answer to this question. Tell me about yourself. A short answer as a real opening statements. So this first scenario is a general answer. Most people in this situation refers to resume. It helps you qualify for the engineer. As you can see from my CV. I'm actually keep Add Question. 12 minutes. Maximum.
11. 10 Interview Question - Tell me about yourself -changing industry: Tell me about yourself if you're changing industries. Because remember that hundreds of people started with the interview process with you. They applied their CV and most people didn't get through. So you got through and now you're in the final stages. You might be asked the last 20 or 10 candidates being interviewed for the role. So it's really important, particularly if you're changing industries, to recognize your ability disadvantage because you go from one industry to another. Why would you do that? You have to demonstrate why your skills and experience for different industry is just as good or better, somebody with the same industry experience. Now, I have the specific courses that you are looking for, which are relevant skills and experience for the job. Even though some different industry, they are completely relevance. And I'm excited about embarking on a new challenge is as I change to this new industry. So you're showing that you're excited, you're recognizes the industry change. Some may see this is more difficult choice rather than staying with the status quo. So there you are showing your prepared for change and that you're recognizing that there is a change in fault. As you can see from my CV, my background, my experience, my capability mosquitoes, software developer is relevant to this industry and the industry. And my a significant success in the areas of expertise required for this job. So as a quick sales manager in this industry, I can be a gray cells margin that industry, because I have the skills and vertices and lead teams. 12. 11 Interview Question- Tell me about yourself -recent graduate: And make our self, if you are recent graduates, obviously, you are at disadvantage to some candidates if you don't have experience. So for many graduates, guessing that first through the door can be very difficult. So this is why so many graduates are working shafts or maybe a university or college, or you were searched a job and a career that you want. And job interviews are like exams. You either pass or fail only and only one person can actually pass. So tell me about southern style ice-breaker for interviews to ask Everybody, They recent graduates, you're going to need to really focus on why you are better than the competition. So you can give a subquery has stopped or why your Besser is because you have a well, that's clear, concise conference about the direction that you want to go or recognizing that you don't have any work experience about recent graduates in the subject. Keats apply the knowledge and skills to the industry and its role. I played my grades I have achieved show that I can learn quickly on dedicated and hard-working to achieve challenging goals. And I believe I'll pick your assets, your company, and welcome the opportunity to prove it. So you do recognize your recent graduates. But if you do have relevant experience has made as an intern over z, definitely to mention that and exactly why it's good, what she learns and how it's going to inform your decision about how to move forward with your career.
13. 12 Interview Question "Why do you want to work here?": Why do you want to work here? So this is overall test and an opportunity. And it's a very common question that you guys get asked many, many interviews in your career. So this could be asked at any stage, but rape, who answers this question, making sure eliminated from the process. So you gotta get this right and you can be prepared for us. You should be. That's the answer across the areas of the job, the company, the company, culture. So these are really critical thing. So the role, understand the role requires list the skills and experience. Have I run the job description, predefined skills matched exactly. And I have this jewel matching skills and experience to years and level of expertise. The company or the company website or you're expanding into this area that I'm interested in. This is great because I already have experience in this area of technology. I've been doing some research on AI and it's part of our growth. Understand the company has a culture of learning and development, so it's one of the culture that you fit in your part. You can be part of that culture. You're adding values of that culture. This is great as RP kids develop my skills and grow with a company over time. You are showing how your inspiration mode, self and X2 being part of that ecosystem. This may be the person that's opportunity though you have to show how you bring value to the role and to show why you are positive and why you're great assets and colleagues a half. So it's a potential elimination question. Match your skills experience with the job description. I'm happy answers based on research, comments on current company news, talk about a culture and how you'll fit in, how that fits into your personality and who you are, where you want to take your career.
14. 13 Interview question "what are your strengths?": What are your strengths is one of the most common interview questions that you're going to be asked. And of course, as usual, you have to be prepared to answer this question confidently and effectively. So is your opportunity to reform how you manage this person specification. There going to be looking for particular kinds of personality, traits and strengths and how you handle situations. The question could be asked any interview stage, often asked to maybe pre-screening or the early stages, possibly by HR. In the early stages you stand out. Interference may be seeing dozens of candidates as all the same questions and they were seasoned really good answers to these questions. You can stay. So I have many strengths and then highlight goes though, that are relevant to the job and to the role. Understand the rope require somebody who has analytical and a team player. So therefore, events. How you, your background, your experience. My key strengths are my ability to analyze, report code errors, and I was in team sports. So those are strengths are required. You highlight exactly how summarize with positive language, positive body language, and state that I'm hard working and positive and leading and developing a successful teams, obviously relevant to the job description and who you are and always using positive language.
15. 14 Interview Question What are your Weaknesses: So what are your weaknesses? Again, another very common interview question that will get asked. And you need to be prepared for a good answer to this particular one. And it can be tricky one. So it's an opportunity to show how you can turn a negative question. So a positive and what are your weaknesses? The question could be asked any stage, but as usually asked, a pre-screening made by HR and the early stages. So it's essential to have this common question is going to be asked probably to everybody and a poor response can lead to elimination. You can definitely stay tuned to everything. And after all the best accounts and may not be good at sales, for example. So these kinds of things are obvious. You're asked him was not relate those eddy, the key requirements of the job nor the personality trait. Otherwise you're eliminating yourself, right? So poor answer examples would be not good to be on time on a perfectionist. So I have no witnesses. Is not record answers ready? You don't want to use these as, as, as go to. The answer should be about improved more skills that are career based, not role specific. That means much more broad and longer-time. I have found out that I am not good at presenting new concepts is I'd like to be. So it starts with a course in public speaking and I've taken every opportunity to practice. So the I improved my career for the long term and that's my career develops. I hope that these new skills and make me a more effective influence, which may be an important skill for my future career and helped my team and company to win more business. So we had foster positive show recognition of a career based weakness and show action you're taking.
16. 15 Interview Question What is your Greatest Achievement: What is your greatest achievements? So again, a very common one particle be asked by the HR and maybe ask them a lot of the candidates. So it's a question that is great, easy to answer in the wrong way. You may want to cache about your sporting achievements or you may want to talk about your academic achievements or CEP at your crowd, parents spoke wonderful family. But the question really is focused on what are your work achievements because they wanted to see how you achieve something within a work setting. And the interviewer wants to hear about challenges you faced and how you overcame them. So here you have to create a story. What role did you pay as part of the company's success that you receive an award for doing so, if you have done, That's fantastic thing, I'll take that sort of thing. So whatever, What's individual children do you have as advanced your career? So again, if you've had a chillers, took your quiz next place, that was a great example. March image to have as part of the office family. So it could be anything within team. I've given outline of the achievements. So that is a broad idea. I was instrumental in winning a big contract. That's the outline. I was instrumental aid was made. I was instrumental, say the challenge that you overcame. So within that there was a time so you had to overcome. The challenge was we had to create a specific algorithm within a tight deadline. So that's your skill bass, the thing that you put in. What was your contribution, highlight their success. That was yours, that nobody else can put the hat on there is yours. I did actual research and develops be unique algorithm. So I took extra processes in time and I achieved results. So highlight that results. This is what I achieved. And then you lead onto as a results, we beat the competition. How we want the biggest contracts, ABA. So we'd beat the competition. We help the company. Because of my efforts, my work that I put in any T cells, a teamwork, I help junior members of the team with coatings meet deadlines. So you're showing that you are working as part of a team and helping others to achieve greatness and state the significance of that. Why was it so significance within the team, the company, and now we have had a loyal client for over five years. So if the process, the outline, and eventually a high sit and watch you did your success on what the outcome was for the team.
17. 16 Interview Question Where do you see yourself in 5 years: Where do you see yourself in five years? So again, it's very common interview question. And it's a show that you are a long-term investment for this company with daily dividends, so wasted 75 years. You definitely will accompany right? Question could be asked any interview stage. There's often asked to pre-screening and possibly by HR. So you must feel bad for this question like all the others, and it's very common. It's also likely to pass all of your competition as well. So they don't want see lossy. It is an elimination question. They want to hear that shear force about it. Long and productive company with them in that role, in that company. So even though no one can predict the future or how roles and opportunities involve so many objects or things in the world. The question is asked to discover your commitments because they're going to put a lot of time and money in training to bring you into the company. So if you give an unprepared answer, it will be obvious and you may not advance of the final stages or offer advanced beyond their sensory or even this particular question. So keep the answer general, not specific. It's about growing from where you stars within the role. Once you've started in a company, you can say I expect to be advancing based on my performance with increased responsibility, that is over time. So five years with walking. And you can ask, where do you see this job leading to in five-years? So you can ask them question of what their vision is for the role and how the company and the role develops.
