Meet Your Teacher
I'm Ketan, a Brand Consultant and the Founder of Brandzpree. I love writing blogs and creating videos on topics like Branding, Logo Design, Brand Identity, Brand Strategy, and Graphic Design.
I created Brandzpree to support and educate fellow branding lovers, and at the same time, help start-ups and small businesses turn into huge brands that people love and relate to.
I'm a huge fan of 'Minimalism' - the idea of "Less is More". And, this is one major principle that I try to incorporate in my designs, blogs, videos as well as in the way I live my life. Another cool principle I love to use in my design is Geometry!

Hands-on Class Project
After you’ve gone through the class, here's a simple and interesting Class Project for you to implement your learnings and improve your branding skills!
As part of the class project, please list 3 famous companies and try to explain why they could be considered as a “brand”, by writing about the perception that each of these popular businesses tries to create in your mind.
Class Project Tasks:
- Select any 3 world-famous brands that you can think of.
- Study each of the brand’s visual identity, print ads, TV commercials, and other marketing activities.
- Observe what you feel as a viewer when you come across these marketing activities by that brand.
- This helps analyze the Perception that it wants to create in people’s minds.
- And finally, list down these feelings, emotions, or characteristics for each of the 3 brands.
Tools required to complete the project:
- Any Text or Graphic Editor that you prefer (Microsoft Word, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Google Slides, etc.)
- A Laptop, PC, or Tablet
- A curious mind!
Final Submission:
- A collection/collage of ads that you studied for each brand and a list of the perceptions that you think the brand is trying to generate. (check out the example below…)
- Either take a screenshot of your work, or export your work as an image (in JPG or PNG formats) or a collection of images, and upload them to the “My Project” area in the ‘Projects & Resources’ section of the class.
Upon completing the project, please upload your work to the “My Project” area in the ‘Projects & Resources’ section of the class. Also, keep an eye out for any interesting guides and resources shared in this section.
If you have any questions or need more tips, please let me know! I'm happy to help! And, here's an example of the class project’s final submission…
