Watercolor Sucullent - Step by Step painting

1. Introduction: Hello, welcome. In my class, my name is and Grabowski Krupa. I think it will be hard for you to spell, but I'm watercolor painter. Watercolor painter. Colors: Today I'll show you what we'll be using to paint such a characters, such as soccer and characters. So first, we'll need watercolor paper for sure. I'm using Gamma water color, 300, watercolor paper, which is 300 grams. And it's got 10 sheets of paper. Okay, so we've got paper covered. We'll be using watercolor pens. I've got this little set from Roman nochmal. It's a Polish company page and it's designed for art. It's outdoor implants. So despite was designed for their birthday. They are 40 years on the market. So but I love this color, so I'm used to using this. Today. I will be using colors Hansa, yellow followed blue, quadrant, magenta, and by Payne's gray. So you can choose or use your own watercolor. Colors. Could ever brand to your half. You can use. Similar similarity to this colors. Also, I will be using separate sheet of watercolor paper to test my colors. I will be using tracing paper to trace the outline to travel gave you into this course, onto watercolor, watercolor paper. At the beginning, I will show you the colors, once again, showing you the chorus for you to see how they look like. So the first color we'll be using will be, once again, look back onto pallets covered. So we'll be using hansa yellow. It's a very bright color, very bright shade of yellow. So we'll be using hansa yellow. We'll be using fallow blue. It's green shade of blue. I don't see this green tint in that shade, but it's on the cover of the palate. Outline: So the first thing we will do will be transferred to follow our sketch from this drawing to our watercolor paper. To do that we will be using tracing paper. So we taught our tracing paper on water color paper. Seconds we will place our outline on it and stick with the washi tape. At the top. First wash: Okay, so the next thing we're going to paint will be the light wash of our cacti. So first, we will be mixing a very soft shade of green, and we will be mixing it with two colors. Put a lot of water onto my palette because I want it the shade of green to be very soft and light. That's why I'm putting a lot of water here for my mixing palette. Then I will add a bit of blue. I need a very pale shade of green and I think this will be okay, but this is too bright for me. I would like to have a very muted color. That's why I will use a bit of magenta. And when we had that color, we will be painting alone. I'll be painting the whole cacti leave. Finally, if you to paint one leaf and you notice that your color is too dark, then simply grew up only water onto your brush. Second wash: So when our first layer is dry, we'll be painting a set second layer of color. So to do that, we again need to mix color. This color will be a bit darker than the previous one. So I'm going to use the previous scholar, but I will add some more pigment into it. So once again, I will add a little water to a yellow color. Once again, at fallow blue. Some follow blow at how dark the color is. So is it darker than the previous one? And also, I will mix it really a bit just on the tip of the brush, magenta to mute this color down. And this shade of green is okay, so, well starting to paint with this new color. But you need to make sure that the first layer is fully dry. And once again, we'll be painting Khalif by leaf, but this layer, well, we'll start to paint from the inside to the outside. From the inside of the leaf to the outside. And also we'll, we'll leave some unpainted areas next to the border of the lives. And the technique is that first I will put some water onto my raphe. Then I will clean my brush into the water with the water. Then with a clean but fresh, I will be mixing my paint into the leaf. I want the color to blend slightly this darker. This second layer of color blend slightly into the previous one because this first layer, and I'm doing it with water. So let's do this one, the second leaf. Let's do this again. For example, with this big wave. First, I'm picking some paint, which I have mixed earlier. Paint on the live, but from the inside of the leaf, leaving this unpainted areas next to the border. And with the clean brush with the water. I'm moving the paint around the leaf. I'm blending it with the previously. If you think that you have too much water on your leaf, simply dry your brush with tissue and pick this too much water, which you will have on a leaf for this dry brush. And we'll be painting each leaf with this technique. So let's start painting without much ducking. Let's start painting. And I think it will be easier for you with the smaller brush. And this one is perfect. To paint the tips of the leaves, we will be using a smaller brush. I'm using my number three brush. First, I will show you the technique. I'm putting into it to shun fallible, not Prussian blue. And this shade of green, It's like it's got a bluish tone in it. And it's quite dark. But I want it to be darker, even darker than this. So I need more paint and less water, just like you see it on. And I I also need a bit of pins gray, just on the tip of the brush. And let's see what we get. What we've got. I think I'll mix some more Payne's gray if you don't have pens, creditors use black if you have. So I'm mixing more wince cry. And I think this shape is quite, quite a ride.
