Our closest step will be creating and using mockups for our art mockup will help you to display your illustration in a most beautiful way. As a bonus, I will share with you my texture paper, custom brush, set color palette, my own pictures that I created. The class is great for intermediate level and for experienced artists. For everyone who is interested in digital verticlor art and postage stamp illustrations, the class requires you to have basic knowledge about procreate. For beginners, it can be a little bit overwhelming. And one more thing that I want to mention, your opinion and your feedback is very important to me. So feel free to tell me what you think about the class in discussion or review section. I will be glad to reply to you, my dear art fellows, I can't wait to start this class. And definitely I can't wait to see what you applaud to project section. Let's not wait. Grab your ipad, Apple Pencil, and let's start painting process together. 2. About Final Project: Now it's time to talk about class projects in my class, it will be. Next, think about the topic you would like to cover. And then paint one or series of postage stemps using the dips and brushes that I gave you today. I'll use procreate for this class with ipad and Apple pencil If you have it or some other drawing pads or even regular paper and paints. Please join our class and good luck. In today's class, I'll paint two series of postage stems devoted to different topics, magical portions and night sky. You can follow my instructions and create the same illustrations as idle or just the one you like. You don't need to follow all my steps and you don't need to create all the illustrations that I created. Try, experiment, and enjoy paint and process. 3. Where to Find Freebies: In this class we will talk about resources and where to find them. It's pretty simple, just follow the steps, go to projects and resources section, download previews, go to files app, and then import all the previews into the procreate. Let's talk about all of it in details. Well, I think we're ready to get started. And first of all, I want to tell you where to find all the previews. So when you open my class, please do it in browser. It can be Rome or Safari. Because sometimes if you open my class through the skillshare app, my freebies might not be visible. Make sure you use browser and then go to Projects and Resources Section in the right corner under the headline Resources. You can find all my freebies. Please download them. Then you need to open files app on your ipad. In downloads folder, you can find all my freebies. What you will get in my today's class. First of all, this is the new brush set. The brush set will be under the name postage stamp brush set format. Then we also have swatches color palette which is called postage stamp Do swatches. Next we have gold glitter Pac format file that we're going to use for our Night Sky series. One more thing that you will have is a color paper. Also, I will share with you the picture that we drew together during today's class. Feel free to use it for your own art projects. Okay, the next question is how to import them into the procreate. So in this case my suggestion is to split the screen into two parts. From the left side we have files app, and from right side we have procreate app. The next thing that we need to do is to drag and drop all our files from files into the procreate. And guys, my suggestion about the gold clitter and watercolor paper, it's better to create canvas first and then drag and drop the files. Because if you do it without canvas, we will just drag and drop it as a separate files. Let's do it. You need to tap plus and then we have screen size. Let's tap that one. Now we can drag and drop all our files. Let's do it one by one and make sure that when you drag and drop files, you need to do it on a new layer. It's about gold glitter and watercolor paper files. Let's track and drop. You see now automatically it's on our canvas, on the layers. Now what we need to do is to tap, create new layer and drag and drop our gold glitter. Let's make those layers invisible for a while. Saying we need to do this postage stem brushset and postage stem swatches, we just need to drag and drop our swatches and where to find them. So here I have postage them. I already selected this color palette. How to do that? You see we have three dots from the right side. I will do it here because it's already set as a default. So when we have three dots here, we have an option set as a default and we need to tap it. Then we have this lovely bird selected here. Okay, and about brush set, When you import the brush set into the procreate, it will be on the top of your brush gallery. And guys, let me briefly show you what kind of brushes we have today. Here we have so many stem brushes. I used sticks brush. I'm going to use it for today's class. This is native procreate brush that I really like a lot. I created for you special pencils, HB pencil, this 10 B pencil. But of course, feel free to use box B pencil, the one that we have in native procreate brush set. Also, I have ink brush, this is unpredictable in pretty cool because sometimes it gives you very solid and sharp lines and sometimes replicates the feeling that you don't have enough water and ink on your brush. But H watercolor, this is a brush that we're going to use for our, today's watercolor classes. This brush is amazing. If you want to create watercolor illustrations, of course it's better to use this brush with texture paper. But as you see even without texture paper, it creates pretty lovely watercolor feeling. Both soft reading that we're going to use for additional steps in our watercolor illustration. Soft blender that you can use as a planter, you just need to tap. It means that we select as a brush, as a painting brush. Then we can go to our blending brush on tap. As you see, the soft blender is selected automatically. Boo frame. Now we have so many stem brushes that will help you to create lovely postage stamp illustrations. This is also additional steps that we're going to use for our classes. Some of the elements I will not use for my illustrations, but you might use in your art. I decided one of the series will be about portions because I like magic, and I decided to make series of postage stamps with portions. I also have a couple of handwritings that you might add to your postage stem if you would like to, I decided to create different shapes for the postage stem. This is like typically the most common one. This is a little bit more unique. If you like some landscape orientation paintings, you might use it. We have the last one as I think we're ready to move to the next class where I will show you where to get inspiration. 4. Where to Get Inspiration: We finally move to the base of our class. Where to find inspiration and how to choose topic. What about the reference pictures and how to create unique art? Also, how to unite all the illustrations under one topic if we create series of illustrations. Let's talk about it now. Well, about inspiration, we have a few sources that we can use in for getting some ideas, maybe for inspiration. And one of the sources is called Pinterest. I think all of us know about this lovely, just amazing, source of wonderful pictures that can help you to find some inspiration. But of course, you can't copy them. But like I said, you might get some ideas of what to draw. I tend not to use it a lot because I want to come up with my own ideas that I can develop thanks to other sources where you can get pictures for your personal and commercial purposes that we're going to talk about a little bit later. But I admire to look at art of other artists, it gives me some inspiration and also guys, why I suggested to think about the topic. Because if you want to create a few postage stems, it's better to arrange them under some specific topics. So every postage stem that you create will be connected with previous one and with the next postage stem that you would like to create about the idea for my today's class, I was thinking a lot what to do, and like I said, during every my class, I like magical stuff, cute things and water color. I think maybe that would be a great idea to combine all the topics that I like in one thing. What I suggest when you decide what to draw, if you want to draw one postage step, it's fine. You can draw whatever you like. But if you decide to paint a few postage stamp, if you want to develop your topic and tell people some story, choose one thing, one topic. And try to show one of the feature of this topic in every postage stem that you create. For example, if I like magical things, I decided to paint potions. How to connect them? I just paint different shapes of potion, different shapes of bottle. And I will use the background as an explanation of potion that I have. And if I want to paint potions here, maybe I can type in pinterest like potions. And as you see here, I have a variety of different types of potions, different types of bottles. You might get some ideas, what you would like to draw. Okay, Create. Now let's talk about the two sources that I use for my art. This is Pexels.com and Unsplash.com So how to use the sources. And they're very convenient because here you can use the pictures for personal and commercial purposes. I was thinking about some portion shapes. Here I came up with the idea, we can just write, perform bottle and here we can search for the shape of bottles that we might like and we might use for our art. I was thinking to create two series of postage stems because one was not enough for me and I like to paint Sky when I use watercolors. So I was thinking maybe I want to draw sky in some cute way. And I decided to paint a star that has such specific shape. So I think this is pretty lovely, but I will draw it in more cartoon style. I like the colors in this illustration. I decided to use this art to get some inspiration, and that will help you to add some colors. If we decide to paint some illustration, we can take some of the elements that are related to our topic and of course add something new. I decided to paint to take moon and paint lovely cat that is grab and moon like sitting on the moon. Also it will be related to our night sky topic type cat. And I was thinking about this lovely chabby cat. So, and guys, this is the way how I use such sources for getting some inspiration and ideas. And that can help me to ease my painting process because I know sometimes it's not easy to come up with your own idea. Or maybe you need some pictures for reference how the elephant looks like. And of course, you need some picture to look at the proportions, the position of some body parts. And it's totally normal. So you don't need to blame yourself if you can't paint picture right from your head. For many objects, I need to look at some references. Think about the idea, the topic for your art. My suggestion? Yeah, this is our next step. So now take some paper and think about the topics that you might be interested in painting and that you want to illustrate and share those with people. Maybe it will be botanicals, maybe it will be some gems or also some magical themes. Maybe you can draw some characters from the movie you like, maybe from cartoon you like. So think about that. Write a topic that you would like to illustrate. Maybe it can be just one topic. And let's jump in our next class. 5. How to Create Textured Paper: We are very close to the painting process, but it's hard to create watercolor illustration without watercolor texture paper. And in procreate this process closely connected to the layers and blending modes, please follow my steps carefully. And if something is not clear, I'm always ready to help you in discussion section. As you know, we already imported our watercolor paper, this one. And I think we need to move it a little bit to the edges because you see the size of paper and the size of canvas are a little bit different. So make sure you have uniform turned on. Move it a little bit to the sides. Great. Now guys, for people who already seen some of my classes, I want to tell you that today's paper, the process of creating paper will be slightly different. Because like I said, we are creating postage stems. So I don't need to have like this fully visible watercolor paper, but I want to keep the texture. In this case, I want to move paper layer on a top of all layers panel. Then I will duplicate it three times. Guys, please make sure you follow my steps. It can be a little bit tricky and maybe in some part it can be slightly puzzled. I will try to slow down and to explain every steps that I'm doing. We duplicated the layers three times. It means that I will change blind the layer modes to different modes. Also, additionally, I will duplicate some of the layers. Now let's turn off the first layer. Now let's go to second one and move to color burn, Blending layer mode, color burn that one. Now let's go to the third layer here. We will move to linear burn. Next step that we need to do, let's duplicate color burn one time. Now we have two layers, color burn layers. Here we need to merge them together. Color burn and color burn together. Now let's go to linear burn and do the same. Let's duplicate layers and merge together. Now let's lower the Pacity of linear burn till 60 or 70% guys. Why did we need to duplicate the layers? Because by duplicating layers and merging them together, we exaggerated the texture of watercolor paper. Okay, great. So we duplicated color burn, and we merge together to layer. We duplicated linear burn, and we merged together, and then we lowered the apacity. Now guys, I will show you where the magic starts. We will come back to the first layer, and then here we need to change the plant and layer mode to divide here the trick is that we don't see the paper texture, but when we paint, we're going to have this texture underneath of our brush strokes. Now we have three paper layers. Let's combine them together in a group. I selected one layer and then by swiping, right, I selected additional two more layers. Now I will press group, let's rename and write paper then we can just lock it by swiping. Right, we have the options and let's just press lock. Now I will go to the layer, empty layer that is underneath our paper layer. Crop blue, hard edge, watercolor brush. When we paint, we have this lovely paper texture. But what is cool? We have this texture just under the brush strokes that we created, that we paint. But we don't see any paper texture around that. That's great, because our postage stems will be pretty realistic. Let me show it to you in our next classes. 6. How to Create Sketch: Potions: Now time for sketches. I decided to break this class into two parts, one class for each topic. Let's start with portions, and then we will move to the night sky. So I feel free to follow my steps or use your own sketches, whatever that will help you to feel happy guys. Before we jump into sketching process, let's decide what type, what shape of the postage stems we're going to use in our today's art. Like I said, we have three different options. This one depending on topic, depending on number of postage stems that you want to create. You might choose different types of postage stems. You can try all of them like it's up to you. I decided to use this type of postage stamp and I think it would be great to arrange our illustrations on canvas, right, with such kind of postage stamp. I like the way how postage steps look like when they are placed together. You can see it here, we have the tiny holes when you create series of illustrations, like it will be very beautiful to place the one to another weight, let's just try to do it. First of all, what I want to tell you, you can change the orientation a little bit. In this case, you need to go to free form and you can use it. Move it a little bit to size. That's right, what we have in this postage step, if you want, you can remove the borders here. By the way, I renamed all the layers that I have. Let's just write frame. Now think about the shape of postage stamp. You want to use the number of postage steps you want to create and try to arrange them in the most beautiful way. Like I said, I want to create two series of illustrations, postage stamp illustrations. So I will decide, I will grab two different topics. In this case, I want to keep the same size of postage stems, but on the other hand, I still want to separate them a little bit. Like I said, I'm going to use the square shaped postage steps and I'll just arrange them on a canvas in the most beautiful way. I will use uniform as a transform tool here. I think I can merge them together. This is the first frame that we created. Feel free to use this one if you want to create one or two postage stems. But I decided to create two series of three postage stems in each topic. Guys, because we have two different topics, I decided to change the style of the illustrations also a little bit. In the series of portions, I will create sketch with outline when I have color in parts, I will use outline as inseparable part of our art. I'm going to use inking brush, but for the second series where you're going to paint Night Sky, I will use just pencil and I will use water color. In the end of my illustration, I can turn off the sketch or I can just make the pencil layer like less visible. In the end, you will decide which style you would like more. Let's jump into sketching process of portions. Okay, I went to sketch portions layer. Like I said, I created a few stems brushes that will help you to use painting process. I already have the potion bottles already as brushes and I'm going to use them first. I will use potion step on here. I will use uniform tool. I want to place it somewhere here. Then if I think that I want to change the shape of the bottle a little bit, I can go to adjustments and go to Liquefy tool. Then I make sure that push is selected, Size is 30, 40% And I want to change the bottom of the bottle a little bit, make it more round. Wonderful, ablate catch portions layer. One more time. Now I will go to another stem brush here, let me think. I will use this glass bottle to the size of postage stamp and I merge together another two bottles, layers here. Now I will go to blue portion stem three and adjust the size of the bottle again, I will merge together. Next step I will duplicate sketch portion guys. I think next step is very important because like I said, I want our background to explain the nature of portions. I will try to grab the moon phases and I will go and grab this yellow color transform tool to adjust the size. Maybe a little bit reform, merge together, go to the new sketching layer, come back to black color guys, it's very important to remove the overlappings. Another option is next, you don't need to create. Every time you layer, you still can draw on the same layer where you already have some other elements. But in this case you will need to use selection tool, select the area that we need to use. Now grab transform tool. Just move it to the area where you want to place it. Mm hm. And I think this part is a little bit empty, so I'm going to grab some part of the botanical selected and then press Copy and Paste. Now it looks a little bit less empty then merge together. Now let's merge together all sketching layers and we're going to add additional elements to our art, but we're going to do it in the end of our painting process. Now let's jump into sketch of the second topic which is Night Sky. 7. How to Create Sketch: Night Sky: About the night sky. Like I said, you might go and grab some inspiration in unsplashed.com or Paxil.com or you might go to Pinterest. I was thinking it would be just amazing to combine some lovely realistic quart color illustrations and some cute things. I decided to paint a very cute cat that is sitting on lovely star. I was thinking about moon, but I decided to devote the whole postage stamp to the moon illustration, which will be the last one. The second one, just some different kinds of stars guys. Exactly. In our night sky illustrations, we're going to use this gold glitter effect and I will show you how to apply it to our art pencil. B pencil will be a little bit stronger. Like I said, it shouldn't be precise because we're going to turn off the sketching layer a little bit later. So now we can look at our lovely cat and try to replicate this chubby feeling, chubby cat. You can go and grab HB pencil. She will be a little bit lighter. But I like exactly this type of illustration for our art because it's not too sharp. Also, I created some constellations at the background where to find references for constellation. Simply just go to the Internet. Okay, here I just went to Google and I just type constellations and you might see the way how they look like. Here we have the constellations that has Adia signs. Decide which constellations you might like. Just create one. Either need to be too precise or just take part of it and add it to your art. Now let's keep adding stars. Here we have some magic trick, what you can do, just create one layer above. Now let's just create star. If you want to save time, my suggestion just duplicated and you can place it somewhere here. Then merge together. There is the rest of sketches. Create one moller Pa. I want to create this lovely sweat star. I'm going to put it here. Duplicate again. Now let's just lower the size and place it maybe here in some areas where I think it's a little bit too empty. Small, tiny, tiny star. Alexis merge together. The last one I decided to paint Moon. I decided to paint some kind of like sun beams that is coming from the moon. So this illustration will be fully from the cold glitter and it will be very sparkling if we've done without sketches. Now let's jump into next part, where we going to start adding colors. 8. How to Add Colors to the Potion Stamp: Now it's time to jump in the painting boxes. Use the brushes that I provided amon the freebies or native procreate tools or maybe your own brushes. Don't forget to paint on a layer set under the texture paper. We'll start with painting portions and then slowly move to night sky postage stamps. Let's not wait and good luck. Okay, well it's time to create our first postage stamp which is moon portion. And I will show you one metric trick. How to create background color for all our restrictions without making them like six times. In this case, I created new layer and I will write background. Next, I will grab blue hard edge watercolor brush. You can grab any color you want and make sure that your paper grew layer is on my suggestion. We can make frame layer a little bit less visible, like 40% Again, make sure you are on background layer. So what we need to do is to deduplicate background layer six times, even seven. I want to keep one color just in case. If we need to change it one background layer I will make invisible key. Now what we need to do is just go to the first layer and let's change the color. How to do that? Let's go to adjustments, saturation and brightness. And here we can go to and think about the colors that you might like to have. You can increase the saturation and lower the brightness. Now let's go to the next layer then. Now let's go to our sky layers. Let's go to the next one. We can go to, thanks to Urs, we can play with intensity too, darker, more saturated. Let's go to Urs Bad. Okay, great. Now let's come back to our moon potion picture. Now my aim is to remove the overlappings, the color that is underneath. We need to delete. We need to just erase guys. Here I have tiny suggestion. I want to create some highlight by erasing some area which is next to our object. You see a little bit, this brush creates just amazingly beautiful texture, saying we're going to do with moon faces too. Now let's go to paint here later and we add some color to our lovely bottle. I think the portion will be pretty dark. Now, let's go to the glass blue color. Let's go to the new layer here. I want to show the transparency of the glass. And if you like it, you can lower the opacity a little bit like till 86% To show the transparency in, we need to add shades. I created a new layer. I rename it as shade layer. And I switch the blending layer mode to multiply. Let's go to the dark brown color, blue wish color. Let's place shades layer underneath. Now let's grab this bluish color, and I want to show shades from the glass. What I was thinking is that I want to write the name of portion on a bottle. In this case, I think I want to change my sketch a little bit. I will go and grab Boo in brush and I will grab a black color. I think I will write it somewhere here. Let's remove some colors and I think the label should be pretty bright. Also, make sure that your sketch is on the top of all painted layer here like that and I want to add some shades. As a blender is, remember I use blue soft blender brush. I think what was lacking is that I want to add some stars, blue ink brush paint here, layer. Let's add title, almost black color. Now let's go and press Add and Add Text. Now you can go to the phone that you have and choose the phone that you like most, and that might be the most suitable. Now we have tiny details that we want to add to our art, and it's some background that will show that it's actually postage stamp. Let's go to bu frame three. Maybe I will write here, create one and find postage stamp made with love. I like that. And now let's remove over lapins. Grab raiser first. Postage stem is ready. 9. How to Add Colors to the Evergreen Potion Stamp: Okay. So, I merged together all the layers and I'm renaming All the Layers Under the moon portion now. Perfect. We'll go to paint here layer. And let's jump into our second portion, guys, because the plan that we use is eucalyptous. As you know, Eucalyptus always looks so beautiful. And I will call this portion evergreen portion. Let's go to background and erase over lapins. Now let's do the same what we did in our previous postage stamp. Let's just remove a little bit of the color from the edges. Now let's start adding colors. Let's go to paint here layer. Remember, be hard edge, water color key. Duplicate paint here layer. And we need to paint glass around 88% lost. Now let's go to Shayla. It in between, multiply shade layer here, the shadow is in areas where two objects are next to each other. We have the shade from the label and we have the shades next to the leaves. Okay, now let's go and grab slightly darker shade. If the shades, if the lines are too obvious, you always can use blending to and brown color here. And the last one done this coloring part. Now let's create one layer in between. Go to black color. I want to grab this travel boost, temp nine, maybe increase the size a little bit here. I want to make this flower slightly bigger inside because as you see the rest of the objects is blocking it from our side. We barely can see it like that details. I also will move a little bit to this part. Next thing, let's just remove over lapins like that. Now if you want to make the color a little bit brighter, you can duplicate the layer. Or you can go to curves and make it slightly brighter. We're done with this part to, now let's move to the so stem. 10. How to Add Colors to the Time Potion Stamp: And our last portion, this is time portion here. What I need to do is I will go to paint here layer, I will grab blue hard edge watercolor brush. I will go to profile color and let's paint those blueberries the background. We're going to finish inner end of our art and like I said background We'll explain the name of a portion. Wait a little bit and don't re later I will remove the background over lapins, brown color. Now let's go to background and remove over lapins and say what we did before, yellowish color, color of pluperyow gold paint here. Grab this bluish, light blue color for the glass. Like I said, we can over the pasty, slightly create one more layer in between which is shade layer. Same brush and let's add tiny shades to blueberries. Now blend. I think it's blending. It might look a little bit more natural and now Liz merge together. And like I said, let's create one more layer that will help us to add some background elements. Be travel stem 12, our third stem is finished. Now let's move to night sky. 11. How to Add Colors to the Cute Cat Stamp: We move to the second part of our postage stamps, and that one will be way more easier. Now let's merge together all the layers lovely. So we have time potion, evergreen potion, moon portion. Let's play some somewhere here under the sketch portions. Now group them. My suggestion, let's place a sketch above everything. Move to multiply and lower the capacity a little bit till 80% Then let's duplicate paint here, layer a few times and place it underneath shades layer. We are on paint here layer, we grab cold color. Let's grab hard edge watercolor brush and let's add color to our star. Don't worry. Later like we did, we will remove overlapping grab light pin color for years and very pin color for chicks. Now when a crabs lovely page color, something between page and yellow. Now I will show a magic trick, how to remove overlappins. In this case, we will just duplicate this layer and it's so bright. Let's lower the app asit till 50% and merge together with the layer. Duplicate it again. Go to lower layer, go to adjustments. Press Hue Saturation and Brightness. And move the brightness till maximum 100% Now you see we don't have any overlaps. Okay, so we remove over lapins from the cat. Now I think we can add some water color effect to the background. How to do that? Let's create one ler Dereese lovely. Now let's move blendiner mode to multiply. Next, let's go to be soft gradient. I would grab this lovely blue color. Now my suggestion, we have all three background colors together. My suggestion to merge them together, because I want to use this background effect in clipping mask mode. In this case, what is it? It means when I decide to use my blue soft gradient brush, I will not go beyond the lines, beyond the background frame, which is very convenient. Now I want to create some lovely water color feeling guys, because our background layer is semi transparent. That means that the effect that we put on a top in clipping mask mode is not that bright. But it's not a big problem because we can change it by using curves. I will show you how to do that now let's go to slightly purple shade and add some purple background. Now let's go to the last one. And here I still want add some purple shades, maybe a little bit bluish. Show that magic trick. We are on our background effect layer. Now let's go to curse here. We can make it a little bit darker and we can play with colors, you see. We can play with intensity and things to curse. The colors look very realistic, very natural, authentic, and in watercolor style. Now let me show you how to create this gold glitter effect. Let's move our gold glitter effect a little bit to the edges like that. I want to make the color a little bit brighter. In this case, I will go to curse. It's very, very bright. Now what we need to do is we're going to create paint here, layer new one. Above that, we're going to place our cold glitter layer. Now what we need to do is to go to cold glitter layer and press clip and mask. Now this gold glitter layer is clipped to the new empty layer and the magic trick will be next. Let me show you, I'll grab Bob pencil. You can choose any color you want. It doesn't matter. What matters is brush is that you're staying on empty that is clipped to the cold glitter layer. Now when you paint automatically, you will receive this gold glitter effect. That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to create some gold glitter effect to our constellations. 12. How to Add Colors to the Star and Moon Stamps: You can use pencil or you can use bow in brush. Sticks Brush is also fine, thanks to this magical trick, you can create lovely watercolor illustration with gold glitter altogether. Let's go to sticks brush. We are still standing on paint here layer that is pinned to the cold layer. Now let's create some smaller, let's dark tails. Now what I want to do is I want to add some shades and I think I want to add shades. Make dark part. I go to background layer. I will go selection to grab free hand. I want to select this part. Yeah. And made it slightly darker. I think I'm going to do the same with this parto. Yeah. Wonderful. So now I want to add some shades to my lovely cat. Let's go to paint here, layer. And I want to add some glitter to the to just a little bit. Maybe they can use blending tool and blends glitter lines. And you see it creates pretty realistic feeling. Let's go the shape layer, go hard edge, water color brush. And I want to show she tiny, tiny suggestion. We've done that in shades. Now I think we can add some glowing highlights. Let's go to paint here to our lovely stars. Let's go to hard edges. Brush, increase size. Let's create some Go painting. Now we can play with plan, the layer modes. Think which one you might like more. I like, wow, Pin light is okay. I will go with Overlay Opacity a little bit. If you want, you can go grab blending tool, increase the size a little bit, and blend some parts that will help you to create pretty realistic water color feeling. The last thing that I want to it is postage stamp words that will define that. This is postage stamp. I'll choose postage stamp made with love it here. Make sure that uniform is turned on and make it as small as possible, like till half of the postage stamp. Then I'll create one layer. Also, move to multiply. I will grab the second part, 100 tons, slightly smaller because it's not relevant. Then merge together, duplicate, and move it to every postage stem that we have. That will help me to unite postage stems as well. Not just one theme, but also with one design. Also another thing that you can do, you can change the color. For example, here we have black color. We can press select, Go grab white color and right fill layer and move to normal. Same I will do with another postage stem. Go to normal. Press select again. Press fill layer with white color. Yeah, lovely. I will keep this postage stamp with a black ink and here I will have white in. I think it looks just perfect. Well, that's it for painting process of our lovely postage stamp, but this is not the end. 13. Different Shapes of Postage stamps: In this small class, I will show you what are the shapes of postage stems and how to fit your own administration into different sizes of postage stems. Now I will show you how you can use the illustrations that we created before for other types of postage stems. Here I took two potion that I created, This type of postage stem. This part of stem you actually need to tear apart. Here I decided to place my moon potion with the main part of postage stem. And this part we can actually separate. Remember I told you to keep one of the background layers separately. Let's go and grab free form tool here. We can just play with the background, remove the transparency. The way how you can use our illustration in another postage stem shapes. You can add more stems if you like. Like whatever you like, guys, I wish you luck and I will be happy to see all your lovely creations. 14. How to Create and Use Mockup: It's almost the end of a class. Now, I will show you how to create your own mockup and how to use it for showcasing your own lovely postage stems. And it will not look digital at all, guys. You can use the picture that I took or you can take picture by yourself and create your own mockup. Now let's talk about Mok Ups, how to make them, and how to use. You have two options. First one, I already created Mok up separately and you can download it through the link. I couldn't download it to the Skillshare app because the size is a little bit too big. Another option, you can create Mok up by yourself. For that, I also added to the freebies this illustration as a pec format file. What you need to do is to download that and then import this file into the procreate. Like I said, just drag and drop it to the gallery. Then when you have this file inappropriate, you need to go to layers and make sure that you have this layer selected with your Pec illustration. The next thing that you need to do is go to selection tool and grab free hand. The next thing that we need to do is to select this postage stamp. Let's do it then. When you selected our postage stamp, you need to press, copy and paste. Now we have our mockup separately on a new layer. Here we have our lovely postage stamp on the new layer. Next thing that you need to do is you need to create, let me show you to separately, you need to create a new layer that is above our paper layer postage stamp layer. This one. Then we need to clip it. Just go tap clipping mask. Next we need to change blending layer mode to linear burn. Another step is we just need to import our picture here on this layer, our postage stamp that we just created thanks to clipping mask. Our layer can't go beyond our postage stamp frame. We just, maybe you can zoom out and use it in any way you like. This is the end for our today's class and I hope you enjoyed our painted process a lot. Now you know more about procreate.
