1. Welcome back :): Hello everyone. My Suzanne appeal. I'm a mom and artist and architect and an art educator. Today I'm here with my most favorite subject to paint, no matter which medium, amusing. Galaxies hold a special place in my heart. I want you all to know Creating a vertical a galaxy is much easier than it looks. In this class, we'll be focusing on spiral galaxies. I will start bending of spiral galaxies difficult. No, it's not. In fact, if again draw a spiral, you can paint a spiral galaxy ASCO. This class is designed for an absolute beginner. I will be taking you to each and every material you will need to paint a watercolor galaxy. In fact, you don't need any specific set of colors or pressures. You can join me with whatever you have caught. And this is the main reason why I allow Galaxy paintings. You can paint a galaxy with whatever colors you have caught and there is no right way or wrong way to do it. It is all about going wild with your colors and having fun with it. That is another fun fact about painting galaxies. You don't need to paint a perfect background to get a perfect galaxy. In fact, the more messy IUPAC renders, the more traumatic and beautiful young galaxy will be. The universe isn't uniform, so you don't need to worry too much about getting it perfect. I've also added a bonus lesson where I'm teaching how to paint galaxy bookmarks. I have named my spiral galaxies the blue runners cosmos handle widened Verna supernova. So if you want to learn how to be in Cosmos and supernovae, jump and right away and create your own piece of universe.
2. Before we begin!: As I mentioned, that the in-group when it comes to Galaxy paintings, there is no right way or wrong way to do it. Here in this class as we have been in spiral galaxies, the only thing you need to keep in mind is that you should be playing with a spiral shape rather than simply adding colors onto your background. These are the two paintings will be doing today's class. You need to let go of all the fill, loosened up. Be comfortable. No matter which colors you're using. We just need to run our brush and a spider and add in all of the colors. For the first one we are going with a blue color completion. And for the second one, Googlebot, violet and crimson. For both the spiral galaxies will be going in an ellipse shape. If you look for images of spiral galaxies, you will find so many different kinds of shapes. In this class, we'll be going with a similar ellipse sheet for both the formal spiral galaxies. For the first one, I have chosen a smarter look. And for the second one, I'm going with a more dramatic and expressive look. In the next section, I will be explaining the colors I'm using, but you are free to choose your own color combination. Also try and go with a little bigger size for your spiral galaxy so that you'll have a lot of space to play with. And this will help you loosen up and you will have more freedom to play with your close talking about the people. It would be great if you can cope with an Artist Creed watercolor people, which is of minimum 140 LB, so that you will get better to serve. Your people will stay but for a longer time, and it will be much easier for you to play with your colors. So keep those things in mind. I will eat off you to let go off all you feel and be comfortable. Be ready to play with colors. Don't worry about your anthracite. How far in the Duke Carlos, drop them in your background, be ready to accept it the way it is going to be. Now, I will show you a quick sketch of two main kind of spiral galaxies you will see on internet. This is the first one. It's a spiral in an ellipse sheet. The same one you will see with multiple spirals to the next file as a whirlpool spiral, just like the name sees, you have Whirlpool and the medium. And there will be multiple spirals diverging from that centre. It seems this one happens when there is an explosion of mass in the middle. And this area will be so much brighter. Okay, so in this class we'll be focusing on the first sheet we have drawn TO. I just wanted to give you an idea about the different kind of spiral galaxies you can follow which will shape you want beautiful kind of color combinations also you want. So foldable cosmos will be following the shape exactly. Acidosis will be simply running operation a spider battle to create our cosmos. And for supernovae we will be introducing a little love brighter idea over the middle, which means 30. So explosion happening in supernovae. And that is the idea you see in yellow here. All right guys, I'm super thrilled to take you through the process without wasting any more time. Let's get started with the first session.
3. Materials you'll need: Let's first have a look at the materials you will need to follow this class. And we'll start with the watercolor. People will be doing two spiral galaxies and two bookmarks. For all of them, I will be using my Canton heritage cold press, watercolor paper. This is one of my most favorite or the globe people. This one is 140 LB And it has a 100% cotton using a good-quality Artist Creed watercolor people has a great impact on your interests. Now in today's class, we will be using multiple layers of paint because we'll be creating a traumatic and vibrant galaxy. For that, it is very important to have people with soft minimum one for the LP if you're a beginner and if you're wondering, where does this point for the LB? It is actually the thickness of the people. The heavier the people, the motorways and more water it can take without buckling. You might have seen paper with different thickness. You might have seen 90 LB, 140 ERB, or 300 LB On a watercolor people out of this one for the LB watercolor people as the most commonly used one by artist. It is thicker and it can handle quite a bit of water. And that makes it perfect for wet in wet technique. For the same reason, countering the multiple laser watercolor washers will be using for this spiral galaxy. I have chosen a people which is a 140. You can clearly see the thickness of the paper that is quite thick and it can handle multiple layers of water. So it is good if it can go with an artist grade watercolor paper, which is a 100% cotton and minimum 140 LB. This will make you entirely process and also you will get a better result compared to the normal watercolor paper. Now the size of the paintings that I'm going to do today as 13 centimeter by 18 centimeter. Just got my people part into two. The size of my paper pad is 26 centimeter by 36 centimeter. And that's how I got the size of my paintings. You can go with any kind of size you prefer. If you want to call it a much more smaller size, that's totally your choice. Or if you want to go with a because parallel galaxy, that's also up to you. So decide on what kind of size you want for your spiral galaxy and choose your paper size according to that door go the two tiny piece of people. Because to enjoy the process and to have that creative freedom, it is always good to work on a larger piece of people, especially when you're doing galaxies. Because of the size of the paper is too small. Press movement will be restricted and you won't get to enter the process are locked. So 2i paper size, considering all these factors, now we'll also be doing to Galaxy bookmarks have used some leftover piece of paper for this. You just need to get a rectangular piece in insights would be. Okay. So that's all about the watercolor people. Triangle with an artist grid particular people, which is of minimum 140 LP and which is a 100% cotton. According to me, watercolor people is the foundation of your artwork. It has a lot of impact on the entrust. If you're a beginner before investing, are now expensive watercolor set or expensive brushes. I would recommend you to Kuwait good-quality watercolor people first, because most of the time beginners get frustrated with watercolor, just the Guardian artists in the right kind of people. And there aren't getting the results right. Now the other thing I want to mention a stat for today's painting. I'm using cold press watercolor people, you can either use cold pressed or rough green people. Corporate paper is slightly textured. On the other hand, rough green people. Just like the name suggests, it is rough and it is more textured. So you're painting will be more expressive and it will be more texturally. If you do it on our rough green paper, you can either go with cold pressed or rough green people. Both of them will work perfect for this class. Now, let's have a look at the water colors. I will be using my tubed watercolor for this class. You can use YouTube or declare or paint watercolor. Now, I will show you the exact clothes that I'm going to use for today's painting. It is absolutely ok. If you don't have the exact same colors that I'm using q, you can go but something which is similar, or it can go with a totally different color combination. So at all up to you. Now let's have a look at the colors you will meet for the first painting. We'll be starting with this blue spiral galaxy. For this one, I will be using two main colors. For the middle, where I have those lighter blue, I will be using two guys blue. This is the one I'm going to use at us from the brand Rembrandt. This is the color you are seeing over the metal. I hope you all have turquoise blue now onto the outer area, the darker blue CQ that is tailored blue rate, again from the brand Rembrandt. So these are the two main colors I will be using for this galaxy. If you don't have tailored blue, you can use any of the brighter blue stereo caught. You can use Prussian blue, ultramarine blue, or blue. It doesn't really matter which one you're going, but we just need two different kind of blues. Now to fill up the outer corners, as you can see here, I will be using black. The one I'm going to use a speech black. This one is from the branch in hand. You can use your black watercolor or if you want a more opaque Luke, you can use your black quash. Okay, so those are the watercolors you will need for this galaxy. Along with that, we will also need white guage to splatter the stars. So these are the colors that I am going to use for this galaxy. You can use the same technique and you can go with different kind of color composition. If you want to go with the green galaxy, or a poeple or a red galaxy, it's totally your choice. Okay? Now let's have a look at the second one. As you can see, the second one is more of a red and white color composition. The second one is going to be a little more expressive than the first one. Now for this, you can clearly see you will need the yellow. Over to the middle. I will be using a lot of yellow and around that I will be playing with Violet and crimson. And for the outer area, it can either be calling black. And the yellow that I'm gonna use, a permanent yellow deep. This one is from art philosophy. We just need a little off. We're Lou, you can go with any yellow daddy or COD. We just need a little office. Again, go with yellow ochre, gambled Xia Lu, primary law, Indian yellow or yellow. Now the next two colors you will need as crimson and permanent violet. You can use any kind of violence that how God, if you don't have one, you can mix and create your own violet data's all total. Click okey. So these are the three main colors will need for this galaxy. Yellow, crimson, and violet. These two are from art philosophy and this one is from Shanghai. Now, along with this, we will also need black. I will be using the same black which I showed earlier. Peach black, again Trump. Now, along with that, you will also need whitewash to splatter of stars. Okay? So those are the colors you will need for the second class project. Again, you're free to choose your own color composition. It is not at all necessary to use the same colors I'm using Q. Ok. Now onto the bookmarks. These are the two bookmarks we'll be doing today. We'll do a pink one and a blue one for the bookmarks. Also, you can go with any kind of color companies just fall over technique and you'll see our favorite colors. Now for the spring bookmark, I will be using appear, appear, crimson and black. It is very obvious you will also need right crotch. Okay? Now if you don't have open rapping, you can use any other roles or pin better. God, if you don't have any of them, you can use a lighter tone of crimson. Maybe your Galaxy wouldn't be this pride if you don't have opera pink. But focus on the technique more than the colours. Alright, now let's check out the second one. For the spine, the colors that I am going to use, our cobalt green, turquoise blue, and black. Cobalt green is from the brand Mitchell machine. And the turquoise blue is the same one I used for the first painting. If you don't have cabal crane, you can use any of the base to go daddy of God. And if you don't have any piece to blue, you can use the light to turn off two guys blue. And this is the same black which I used for the other paintings. Okay. So those are the colors you will meet with. You spoke about all the colours will need. Now this class is not like the other classes. You can play with any kind of color combination you prefer. It is not at all necessary to go with the exact same color that I'm using here. If you feel like you would allow a green Galaxy more, go with that. Or if you feel like you Bill Lau, our orange or red galaxy, gold, that try and play with all sorts of colors. Okay, I hope you guys already have planned the colors you want for your galaxy. All right, so that's all about the water colors. Now let's have a look at the rest of the materials you will need. To mix your colors. You will need a mixing pilot. I will be using the ceramic serving dish, which is one of my favorite palate. It has called for big divisions, which is perfect for galaxy paintings. I allowed to use this pilot whenever I'm working on a big old piece of painting. Because again, create lot of painting advance as the solutions are quite big, you can use any kind of mixing palette you normally use. You can use ceramic or plastic pellet. It doesn't really matter. For me. I really loved ceramic mixing palette because they are very easy to clean and it won't get those pains teams like the plastic ones. I know ceramic pellets are quite expensive compared to the plastic ones, but you can get them for a cheap price. If you look at the dinnerware section, this one is actually serving dish and I think I got it for less than fi, taller. Okay, now let's have a look at the brushes you will need. Throughout the class, I will be using three pressures. The first one is this two inch brush, brush by Princeton. This is to apply an even washer water onto the entire people. This brush is very handy if the size of the papers quite pick, you can apply an even coat a water onto the people quite easily. Now, don't worry if you don't have a wash. brush, you can use any of you because I stretched to apply a coat of water onto a paper. You just need to make sure that your precious Clean and there is no stains of paint on your brush. That is only thing you need to be careful about. Okay? So this is the first brush. Now let's have a look at the other virtuous you will need. You will need a beaker to medium size John Parrish and also a smaller size, strong pressure. I will be using size number two and size number for. Both of them are from silver black velvet series. I really loud this brand. They are very small tensile key. The main Bridge you will need as a because I strong crash, we'll be using that to apply the main Bosch's, especially these spiral. This will be your main pressure throughout this class. And the second one, the smaller brush will be used variable your splattered on the stars and all sorts of adults. Minor details. Ok. So we discussed about the workload people, the pain under pressure. Next, you will lead a masking tape to tape the foresight of the people to the board, even though I will be applying masking deep, I will be cutting the foresight of the people. I don't prefer those white powder for my galaxy paintings, so I'll be cutting them off. Even for the bookmarks, I will be doing the same. You can choose to keep your white Bordeaux or you can cut them off like this. It's totally your ties. As we'll be working with multiple layers of paint. When you apply your masking tape, this can prevent your paper from buckling. If you're working on a glued watercolor pad, you don't need to Moscow people. Otherwise, it's better to Moscow people so that your people born to buckle. And this will help your people stay as flat as possible. You can use any kind of taping normally use we just wanted to take down the people formally onto our board. Okay. Now you will need to jars of water, one has to stay clean and the other one is to rinse off the paint from your brush. I will keep one jar of clean water aside and I will switch to that whenever I'm in need of clean water. And finally, you will need a people toggle or a cart and plot to clean your branch and also to adapt the excess amount of water from your brush. Okay, so those are the materials you will need for today's class. Go crap all the materials and join me in the next section. Let's start with the first critic.
4. Class Project 1 : COSMOS - Part 1 : Okay. So how might people already here? I have my pain tubes, my brushes, and my palate. Everything is ready. Let's start by fixing Hubble paper using a masking tape. We'll be working with multiple layers or make sure your paper us firmly fixed onto your board. But can also prevent your people from buckling. To an extent. I have fixed my paper. Now just like I mentioned in the previous section, I will be going with an eclipse kind of a shape, something like this. That will be the rough shape I will be calling with. Now for the middle will be playing with turquoise blue. Anti-doping rate. Will be creating spirals using these two colors and order the outer corners will be using black. We already discussed the colors that I am going to use for this painting. So I think you guys are quite clear about the colors. Now you really do need to sketch this out. You really don't need to sketch this out. This is just to give you an idea how I'm going to paint my spiral galaxy. Once I start adding the paint, this shape can totally go and I might come up with a different shape. So you really don't need to sketch it out, display with your kalos and take your brush in whatever way you want to. Wiling pain. When you're adding the paint, you can play with the kind of shape that is coming to your mind. You don't really need to restrict yourself to a pencils kit. Okay, I think we're good to go. First, let's squeeze out the colors onto the phallus. Now first one as turquoise blue. Then next color, I'm gonna go with a scalar Blu-ray. This is one of my most favorite colors. I use it quite a lot because I allow pride colors, just like my stretto. See that matching maturity. Then next burn as black, discipline a speech black. Instead of your black watercolor, you can also use your black crash if you want to give your galaxy or more of PQ look. Now displeasure the stars, you will lead whitewash, which I will be squeezing our ought to ask Swiss Plateau the stars. I'm not going to squeeze it now. Okay. And I have two jars of water. First, I'm going to apply an even colder water onto the anti OOP for using mine, do Enge, Hake brush by Princeton. Apply a clean, even colder water onto the entire paper. Make sure your brush has reached, eaten every corner. Your papers evenly red. Okay. Now I'm gonna switch to my size number 12, Rahm perish. You can use any of your beaker size, strong brush. And I'm going to start with turquoise blue. So I want the middle IDA to be a little lighter than the outer area. We need to bring in the whole focus of the spiral galaxy to the centre of area. And the need to make it look like the stars are exploring from the center. Okay. So I'm going with a lighter tone of turquoise blue first. And I'm simply taking my oppression as Pilar sheep. See that. I simply took my pressure in a spiral sheep. Now, I will switch to a little more darker tone of turquoise blue. And I will drop them some chocolate tones in between. Okay. I'm not going to add a lot of color or I want this idea to be a little whitish. So I'm gonna leave that area acids. Ok. Now I'm going to wash it with the paint from my brush. And I'm switching to tailor blue. See that color? Some bald blue. Now leaving that center, I'm going to apply honorable spider using Theano blue. I will start from here. I am taking my brush along that gaps be left in between. I'm adding another spiral. Me be a little lower here. I'm not doing a lot into the middle. Okay. Now, what do the outdoor area we can add more upright or blue. Okay. You can see how that galaxy is slowly getting OCI. No, I'm gonna wash all the paints from my brush. And I'm taking all the dabbing my version of people to move. My brushes just dam that has no paint on my brush. Now, I'm running this damn brush in a spiral pattern, just like how we started the spiral galaxy. Start from the center. And tiny brush in as part of a BAD C that I started from the middle. And I took my Britian of spiral pattern and I lifted my brush when I reach the outer end. This will make all the colours present blend into each other and may cover spiral galaxy a lot more small tow. It would be great if again, Daniel brush in one single goal without breaking it. If an art comfortable doing that too. Even if there is some rough patches, that's absolutely fine. So we want to retain all that lighter tones and like to do, I'm not going to make the center ADR more taco. I will concentrate on the outer area. Maybe we can add a little more off turquoise blue hue. Just a whate'er. Nor to adding a lot in the middle. I'm going to leave that area acetone. Maybe we can drop in some more blue. Now, dropping your pain depending on which color you want more in your galaxy. If you want more of two guys, blue, limit the amount of DDO blue and add in more to Christ blew. Your galaxy will look more beautiful if you play with different tonal values. You can see at some places I have a light to turn of two cries, blue. And at some places I have a Docker to Christ Blue, save a pillow blue. You can see there is a dark blue streak over here. And over the background I have some lighter tone of blue asphalt. So it is this combination of different tonal values which is going to make your galaxy look more beautiful. Switching back to my theta or blue this time, I'm going with a much more intense tool. And I'm going to trap that and between as I mentioned earlier, I'm not adding much over here this area. I want to retain those lighter tones. So I'm concentrating more on the outer area. Dropping variable you want to. So when you're painting a galaxy, there is no particular order or there is no particular roles that you need to follow. Everything can be as per your intuitions. If you want to add more taco tones, you can add more taco tours. Or if you want to add more light to want status also your choice. More taco tools. You can see how I'm enveloping that two guys Brew and retaining all those colors. I'm just taking my brush around that and I'm just enveloping those colors are not filling that up. Over here. I read into most of the lighter tones. I didn't add Marcel's darker tones here. Maybe we can add up the total. And I think that's looking at Great. Now let's switch to black and let's fill up the outer area. You would just need to cover up that outdoor Cognos. As we add a blue onto the outer corners, our papers too wet. So when you're adding black, it will automatically spread into the blue and it will create an organic vendor. So we'll let that black spread into the blue in its own way. And let's leave it like that. Now let's go with this ADR. Go what's the very bored and in dense dawn of black? You will lead quite a lot of black for this paintings. For the second painting, you will leave more than this. So over here, I intentionally left and with love blue in-between. And I took my plaque into that span pot. Now I'm adding a little old black over here. Maybe begin troponin pit over here and over here. So if you want to introduce black into spider, but make sure you're adding that on the darker blue have applied. Don't add that onto the turquoise blue. Maybe we can add an orange thing. Ok. I think that's it. I'm not going to add a lot of what a method. I'll quickly fill up the rest of the outer idiom. So this is how it is looking right now. Let me clean my brush. And I'm wiping off my brush on of people told me I want a clean brush. Cleaner brush properly. Make sure there is no stains of black on your brush. Now using that damn brush, there was no paint on my British, but there is some paint on my hand. Never mind. Now one last round, I'm gonna take my pressure in a spiral pattern. This is the last round. Gently take your brush in spite of battle and variable, you feel like your, they need a little help and blending. This will do the job. Now if you're happy you do Babylon, you don't need to do the step. You can see over the bottom, my colors haven't blended pen as the background of student, but when you take your brush in as part of the path edge will help all those colors blend together. You can see a little touch with Bush made a lot of difference to those colors. I'm quite happy with the way the test tone down. I'm really loving all loops, colors we have courtyard and NPV can lift off some more, the interim, the modem. And to make it a bit more lighter, I just took her down brush and I lifted off something from the metal.
5. Class Project 1 : COSMOS - Part 2: Now I'm switching to my size number four round brush. And I'm gonna take out the middle of whitewash. You just need a binge on white for this. I'll in a drop of water. Now I'm going to add some random bytes boats onto the vet background using white quash. Your background is still a little bit. So the darts you're applying now will slightly spread into the background, making it look a little faded and blurry. The spots we are applying now will be little lighter and faded when a task dried. And later we'll be adding a bright light, dark onto these spots we created now. And you'll make them look as if they are shining. You can add as many as you want. You can see here those dots are spreading into the background. They're already looking like as if they are shining. Especially when you add them onto the darker UTRs. You can add them onto the lighter ADRs. As for I will be adding fuel onto DO took guys blue and feel onto the little blue we have applied over there. It is just that you need to do this before your background drives so that, that color when slightly spread into the background and making them look a little blurry. So this is the first step to create those shining stars. You can also do the same using earbud. He'll be applying a white dot with an IRR, but you can lift up the band and create a similar effect. You're choosing to lift off the paint rather than applying a white spot that needs to be done a little more earlier. While your background is too wet. Otherwise the beam won't come off and you won't get that white spot. The pain won't come off. It might have already dried. Now go ahead and add an asked many shining stars as you want. You can add them variable you want to, there is no particular rule, are auto footers, it's totally your choice. This is the main reason why I allow painted galaxies. Everything that's totally up to you. There is no set of rules or order that you need to follow. You can simply choose to play with the colors and how will it is going to be. It will look beautiful. At the end. I'm already in love with the background and you can see those shining stars. We added interfere with the bottom. Let's add someone to talk fast food. So in a similar way, how we added those dots over the bottom at some random spot on the top as f2. Here also you can add as many as you want, just make sure your background is too wet. I think we have added enough. That's quite a lot of stars. Now, I'm gonna take out a paper towel and I'm gonna wipe off my pressure one of people Tableau and remove that from your brush. We need a brush which is kind of a dry, so there is no pain or there is no much water on my brush. My precious kind of dry. Now I'm going to run this brush in a circular manner on top of all these white dots we added here to make them look a little more faded. You can see those two, which I did now. They're looking lard more blurry and faded than the other ones. And they're already looking like as if they are a shining star. So this is what we are going to do with all the other whiteboards we have added here. And the step will be common for all the galaxy paintings would be doing in today's class. You just need to run your brush and a circular manner. You can see the way I'm doing it here. Just run on top of that sport to be added to make it look little blurry. Now once this step is done, we will be adding another whitebark onto the center of all these circles to make them look little more shining. If you took your brush over the black area, make sure you're clean it before you go over the lighter area. Otherwise, your brush will have those bloodstains and it gets boy, the lighter area we have over here. Maybe for the safer side, you can concentrate on the lighter areas first. And once you're done with the lighter area, you can move to the darker area so that the won't be room for any mistakes. You just need to take your brush in that circular movement and make it look blurry. It doesn't need to be perfectly blended into the background. However, it is, it is going to look hokey, trust me on this. Now, onto the ones over here. Now, some of them would be already looking like they are blurring. You can leave those funds. Asset is you don't need to run your pressure on top of them. Now, I'm again going back with wide quash. Now I'm going to add a teeny tiny white dot. Aren't all these blurry white spots we created. You can see the way those toss out glowing men be added that brighter whites brought to the center. This is how we are creating the shining stars. Maybe at some places you can go with the beco, shining star for spiral galaxies, I'm not going to add that light drinks. If you want to add them, you can add them. There is no problem at all. For the bookmarks, we'll be adding those lines. Quickly run your brush and add a white spot on all those blurry spots were created. And they show you will be surprised by that. And this is a very easy and simplistic, but then it's going to add a lot of character and beauty to your galaxy, especially when you have those shining stars on our docket EDR, it would add a lot of glue to your painting. We have some more to go, just fill on the top and fuel over the middle. One here. One there, one here. And the last frontier. Or when we are done with the base layer, now the only leaf task remaining as just flat or discharge, we are going to mindlessly is plateau. Millions of tasks on those background. Once it has dried, it's time for a break. Get up from your seat, take a step back and have a look at your colleges galaxy background. I hope you all are happy with your background. Maybe you can give a peritoneal pagans or you haven't done a great job. Okay, our background has completely dried. Now. It's time to splatter the stars. Nows plug-ins to us, a little messy process. So I would suggest you to keep Ove all the unnecessary things from your table. This task can fall any of hair. Whenever I'm done with splashing are used. How are those bytes stars on my hand, my for my watch, everywhere we will be splattered and millions of stars onto this background. If you are someone who used to do Galaxy paintings, you will know how messy this task was going to be. I think you can keep away everything other than your painting, the precious annual paint. Any wages, keep a watch. Let me squeeze out some more white guage or into my pants. I'm gonna use my size number four round brush. And I will be using my other branch to tap on this one. I'm adding field trips or water. I added a few drops of water. So in order to get those teeny tiny stars, you're being shouldn't be too loose. And children BY took tick as well. It should be somewhere in the middle. So if we're not too sure about the consistency, you can try splattering on a scrap piece of paper. And once you are convinced with the size, you can't bladder onto your painting. If you're still not sure about the consistency, there is another thing you can do, just W brush on our people, toggle. The people trouble will absorb the excess amount of water from your brush and you will get that perfect consistency on your brush. When you do this, it is guaranteed that you will get those teeny tiny stars. You won't get those peaks, plateaus. Okay, so I have paint on my monologue rationale using underbrush, using the backside. I'm gonna tap on the smaller brush. Just using this part of the brush. I will simply tap on my smaller brush and I will create these tasks. You just need to keep on tapping. I believe the light you have guardian of Hofstadter. You can see the size of my staff. They're too tiny. Says what do you need? We don't need those pigs plateau. Once I'm done that's flattering. I will be adding few pickles tasks using that brush. You can add in how much were you want to keep on adding unclear satisfy. I'm quite happy with the way it was looking right now. I think I have got enough staffs and the talk. Now I'm going to add those because taus, remember those blurry spots we added. If they are still looking blurry, you can add a y two dot onto the center of those spots along the data. You can go in a very random manner and added because to us here and there, there is no particular order or location that you need to follow. You can add him variable you want to. The top part is done. Now I'm going to switch to the bottom. And I'm going to repeat the same for a stab of splattered and Strauss. Plan to have a guard kinda Faustus, I will add goal was because fast using my brush. You can see over the bottom we already have some beautiful shining stars. Let me splatter some more. Now. I'm going to add those because towns, you can also use your wide sharpen to audio because styles and sort of a brush. First, I will add them onto the blurry spots we created audio. Then I will randomly are few more because toss. When you're adding these tasks, make sure you're not adding them and align are close to each other. Make it as random as possible. And with that, we're done. Notable first spiral galaxy. And really loving that blue glue we have caught hill that we build up the masking tape out by cutting off the four sides. I won't be keeping that white powder. So I'm not really worried about having a clean Bardo. You can choose to keep your white powder. It's totally your choice. For some reason, I love my galaxy without a bottle o onto the last sides. And several final painting guys, I'm really loving it. Especially that light to turquoise blue we have over the middle and these shining stars we have over the bottom. Okay? Now I'm going to cut off the Bardo using a so-so. So for this one, we vent in the multiple spiral patterns using different colors. First prevented with turquoise blue for the metal. Then around that, we added onto those bilateral using fatal blow rate. And then onto the outer corners, we added a black. Once we have added the colors, we ran a damn brush again in a spattered so that all the colours will spread and blend into each other. Then on to the vet background, we added some white spots and we made them little blurry by taking up a brush in a circular movement. And this much that into the background. And then we waited for the background to try. And after that, we splattered millions of stars onto the background. And that was so I hope you guys really enjoyed being the spiral galaxies. In the next one, we'll be using the same techniques and will be triangle violin, spiral galaxy, which will be a little more traumatic than this one, right? So if you haven't tried it yet, do give it a try and post your magical galaxy onto the predict gallery. I'm eagerly waiting to see your beautiful galaxies. You can either use the same color composition or it can go with any other colour combination you prefer. Which will be the colors you're using Ginger on your brush in a spiral path and create a car just spiral galaxy. Ok guys, it's time to cope with our second one. And I'll see you there.
6. Class Project 2 : SUPERNOVA - Part 1 : Alright, let's start with the was, second project. How my paper ready here? First, I'm going to take down the people onto my please. Make sure your paper a strongly and formally fixed onto the base. I'm not really worried about getting a clean bottle. I will be cutting off all the white particles. But fixing up people properly but helping preventing buckling of your paper to an extent. So we'll just run your fingers across the four sides and make sure your paper a strongly fixed. Now for this one, we are going with the little more smaller spiral galaxy. We are not calling with a huge one and the middle will be going with a smaller one onto a left corner. So that will be the shape of our galaxy and that's going to be the RUP size. Okay? So auto model, we'll be going with the yellow and then we'll have a bit of crimson around it. And then we'll switch to permanent wireless. And onto the outer corner we'll call it black. I think that pencil sketch can stay. You don't need to really scattered out. I just showed you how our galaxy is going to be. Now as we only need a bit of yellow, I'm not going to squeeze out the yellow onto my palette. I ultimately use it from the tube. This is permanent yellow. You can use any of the yellow you have caught any warm yellow. Don't use lemon yellow. You can use gambled yellow, yellow ochre, Indian yellow or yellow which is on to the warm side. And then I have crimson. Let me squeeze that onto my palate. Next US, permanent wireless. This is the one I'm going to use. You can also mix and create your own violet If you don't have a wireless toward the color. And that's why I live. Next to you need black. At the same one I used O allele beach black by Shinzen. Will it quite a lot of black for this painting because the size of averse parent galaxy is going to be a little smaller than the previous one. And we'll be covering up the enter your background and black. Okay, we have the colors ready and have two jars of water. Now the first step is to apply a clean, even CO2 water onto the entire people. I'm using my two inch Princeton wash brush. You can use any of your beaker size brush. We just need an even coat of water on the entire paper. Which pressure using doesn't really matter. And just run your brush few times across the entire people and make sure the water you have applied as even there shouldn't be any fruits of water. If you help. Also water in-between the pain can tap into some pools and he won't get that smooth flow of paint. And paint won't float and merge into each other. It will get trapped in little pools. Okay? Now the first color I'm gonna go with as yellow as I mentioned earlier, this one as permanent yellow. I'm just going to lift the level of pain directly from the tube. We just need a pinch of yellow. We don't need a lot. And that is why I'm not squeezing out paint onto my padlet. Still will heal. Just turn to the Midazolam fetus needs love, yellow. Okay. Now I'm going to wash with the paint from my brush and I'm going to switch to chromosome. Now just around the year though we have applied. I'm gonna take my brush in spite of that battle and I'm going to apply crimson. See that? Just take your brush in a spiral model. Don't worry at all. Let go off all your fear and apply your paint in a spiral manner. Ok. Now in-between, you can make your color a bit more intense. Okay. Now, I'm going to wash out the pain from my SSH. And I'm switching to wireless. And I'm going to apply that next to the chromosome we applied. We can take a little insight as food. Switching back to my crimson. And we're going to blend those colors. So the only thing here is that you need to take your brush in a spiral pattern. Just enough Gobi lines you shouldn't be applying paint and a straight line or inclined line. Everything should be in a Coby manner. It is totally your preference. You want more of a violent or more of read in your galaxy. I want my valid to be a little more reddish, so I'm mixing a little more crimson. And I'm adding more of that onto the outdoor EDR before I switch to black. So over to the middle I have yellow and around that, I simply added crimson and violet. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that you should be applying your paint in some curvy lines or, and some spiral lines. Alright, we have a practical us now we need to give it a little more cleaner look. For that. I'm going to switch to my smaller sized creche and I will run my brush in a spiral part and we'll clean this up a little bit. When you do the step, you have to make sure your brushes clean because we need that yellow over the middle of to be very clean and fresh. I have taken my smaller brush. This is just a damp brush. I have no paint on my brush. No, I'm running my brush in a spiral manner. You need to be a little agenda when you're older, murder me, you shouldn't be distributing that yellow behalf. They're let go off all the field, make yourself comfortable. Just take it like you're stirring your coffee. And just run your brush in a spiral pattern. I'm going with another round and again, I'm taking my pressure spread apart. My background is still bed. So I'm going with underground of brighter tunes and I'm dropping that and between. This will give me a more traumatic look. To give you a Galaxy more deep and traumatic look, you need to play with multiple terms. You need to constantly turn light to close over the middle and around it, you need to introduce more Pareto and taco tunes. You can see here when I introduced those taco tools, our galaxy card, a lot more dramatic look. So reaching the yellow we have all the murders and play with multiple tones. Now, I'm going to repeat the same step using clean damp, brush and aching, running my pressure in a spiral pattern. See that? Now to these ADR, I'm going to introduce a bit of black. When you introduce black, it will complement all the other colors you have in your background. And it will bring in a lot more depth to your spiral galaxy. A bit of black. Again, make sure you're taking your brush in a spiral pattern. You can see how beautiful it is looking already been we introduced black. When you're adding black, make sure you're not covering of the Enter your packet on colors. We need all those purple, red, and blue. We need all those colors in the background. Now, after this will be simply filling up though, enter your outdoor area and black. And we'll also add some lights ports just to create some shining stars. The colors have come on Crete, I'm quite happy with the way it is looking right now. Have clean my brush and I'm running my brush in a spiral pattern for one last time. Make sure you're using a clean brush, starts from the center. Then simply drawn your brush in a spiral pattern. Just like don't worry, simply take your brush and a spattered baton starting from the murder. And, and keep on running your brush in a spiral pattern until you reach the outside. It will be great if you can do it in one goal without lifting your hands. Okay, so that's my trick. And getting a perfect spiral galaxy, you can add as many columns as you want. One to have added all those colors, you just need to simply take your freshness pirate title so that all the colours will blend and spread into each other, creating a beautiful spiral galaxy. You need to let go off all the fuel that you have got b comfortably. Trust me, how will you do with it is going to look beautiful at the end. For now, focus on enjoying your process more rather than worrying about the intercept. Now, I'm gonna switch back to my because sized approach. And I'm going back with the Black. And I'm going to simply fill up the entire outer area. If you want a more opaque and solid color, you can use your black quash instead of black water color. You can see my paper is still wet and I'm dropping some black onto the poeple are have Hill. And that is spread organically. I'm not going to put any extra effort and blending them. And that's the most interesting thing about a galaxy painting. How will you do your background? At the end, everything is going to look so beautiful. Whether you have a clean and smooth plant or whether you have a rough textured background, one to splatter of stars onto your background. Everything will automatically looks to coaches. And that is the main reason why I allow Galaxy paintings. Whenever I have some leftover paint on my palate and the number I'm endowed water being next, I simply play with them and being the galaxy. Painting galaxies like therapy for me. I allow watching paint blend and bleed into each other. Okay. We're nearly done with the background. May be I will drop on a little more black over here. Just a bit. My background is a little bit. There are two reasons. The first one is that I'm using a 100% cotton watercolor people. And the second one, it has window here. It is pretty cold. So the people against David for a longer time. So considering the conditions, you have a new rule. If it's wrong, you need to work on a QuickTime consistent mono and apply the colors quickly before your background tries. So that's how base Leo, Now I'm going to rush into things. And I'm switching to white crash. Before we supply to the stars, there is field things we need to do. Now, I'm using my smallest size brush. I switched to clean water. This is the other jar I had. Now I'm using a little white squash. And I'm dropping some white wash onto this spiral recreated in a very rough and random manner. And this will make our galaxy look more traumatic. Simply adding some white quash. Over here. For the earlier galaxy within adding ink wash onto our background, we simply went with a layer of watercolor and the other the colors and aspired button. For this one also we did the scene. We applied colors and aspiring baton. And now onto that wet background, we are dropping some white crash to make it look more explosive and traumatic. Now the white girls you're applying now doesn't need to have a clean and smooth blend. It can't stay rough. I'm not really worried about having a small-time, perfectly blended background now, maybe a little lower here. So it's totally your choice. How much, why do you want or if you are happy with the way it was looking at earlier, you don't want white, you can leave it acids. I just wanted to show you a few options how you can create different character to your spiral galaxy. And that is why I went in with this option. The first one we did, the blue one has got more office mortar look. Now this one, when we add the garage, this is going to look more traumatic than the first one. It will have a lot more character. I have added enough whitewash onto the spirals. Now, a little onto the bottom Aspen. Okay, I think I have added enough. Now. I'm going to wash off the paint from my brush. And using a clean brush. I'm gonna simply Smart stat white patches into the background. We are doing this step just because we simply dropped into white coerce. You can see the way I applied them over the bottom. Now when you run your brush on top of those battles, it, we'll get a little more, better look. So simply run your brush on top of all those battles and smudge that into background. You don't need to put a lot of effort TO too smart stamped with our damn brush. You can see my patches are looking not so crazy. It is still looking a little messy, but that's absolutely okay. It has this messy patches which will make your Galaxy more dramatic entry allosteric. So if you feel like your paintings looking messy and if you are at the verge of discarding it and tune to that, trust me, it is going to look beautiful at the end. Keep away all those fears and worries about and just enjoy the process. Gain. Now let me quickly run my brush on top of all those patches and more starch into the background. Now if you're running your brush on top of these Cauchy does first there are chances brush my tau1, tau2. Make sure to clean your brush before you move to the lighter areas.
7. Class Project 2 : SUPERNOVA - Part 2: Kay, so that's done now or the next task was to add some white blurry spots onto the background to create some shining stars. I'm using the same brush and I'm going with some clean white squash. Add a pinch of water. Now, all you need to do was add some random sports onto the background. Using that lose wide quark, it shouldn't be too thick or too watery. If it's tilted, it won't spread. And if it's too watery, it will end up spreading on log time, create a big patch. So the consistency, which is something in between lose, tick and added asked me spot tells you want. Now this step has to be done while your pack lambdas to regret. If your background has completely drive, just leave the step, it's okay. Wilson plays Plateau, the Strauss onto your background. You all know how to add these shining stars so you can add them in your future paintings. Once you have added enough, we need to smart starting to the backhaul. Make them look blurry. Now let's add those spots on the talk. Now, I'm going to wash all the paint from my brush. And I'm cleaning my brush now using a damn brush. I'm just munching that divide sports into the power cloud to give it a more blurry look, you just need to simply take your brush. And so Clark pattern, just like unto enqueue, doesn't need to be perfect. You can see how my so-called cell looking. I just got rid of that bright white Kahlo is looking a little blurry. That is only thing I'm doing. Q. I'm not really worried about having a small tank, clean, white circle. Okay, so wherever you have applied the advice part, just take your pressure in a circular pattern and smart thatch into the background. Take it easy. You don't need a perfect circle here. You can see the frame Mike. So consider looking. They are quite messy. Now onto these so called, I'm going to apply a white dot, symbol, white dot on the center of all these circles. As to Bagram is still a little bit. These white dots you're adding now will slightly spread into that beco whiteboard you have in the background. This will make your shining stars look more beautiful. Once I have a backup has completely dried along what's flatten this task would be adding another white dot. Aren't all the socket. Just to make it look a little more. Now we have sum over the bottom. I'm gonna smash toe circles and had a white spot onto the center of those circles. And after that, we'll have to wait for us to try. And you can see the black I applied as quite dark. This is the kind of black you need for your outer convoys. Otherwise your Galaxy wouldn't have that deepened and traumatic look at Ableton, look very light and so quote, a very bold dawn of black for your outer corners so that it can automatically, with the colors we have in the medulla. We have Fillmore spots left. Let me quickly as much tours and add a white spot on to the metal. So this is how our galaxy is looking at the moment. Now let's wait for everything to dry. Once everything has dried, are going to be splattering millions of stars onto this background. Okay, now take a break and come back and join me once everything has completely tried. Ok. Looks like everything has completely dried, narrow, it's time to splatter the stars. I'm going to squeeze out or low whitewash onto my palette. I haven't if lower there, maybe I would be it a little more. I'm using my size number four brush. I'm dropping in fuel, drops of water and go see my other brush I'm gonna tap on does brush to create those plateaus. This is a messy process, so just keep away all your expensive things. Now if you're not too sure about the consistency, you can always dab your brush on a paper towel so that the people that are what will absorb the excess amount of water from your brush. And you will get those teeny tiny stars. We don't want those big splat tools. We want some teeny tiny stars, just like the previous one, like this. So in order to get that, you should have consistency which is between two and lose. It shouldn't be too laws on it shouldn't be too thick. If you are still tries blood when one is crap is of people. And to the size of your stars, go ahead and splatter on your main painting. You can see the size of those stars. This is what we mean. Concentrate on the top. Once that is done, we can add an ask me, you know, it is always good to use your whitewash when you're splattered all stars. But if you don't have a guar, okey, the use you are white or black or white or what color? I think how god and a far-off stars there. Now, I'm going to pick all those white blurry spots we created earlier. And I'm going to add a star right in the middle of those bytes parts. This will make it look like they're shining. Along with that, you can add some random spots as well. You can see how beautiful our galaxies looking already. As I said earlier, everything has come out very nicely when you splatter the stars. You can see my background doesn't have a small plan. At some places it is very rough animacy. But once I splatter the stars, everything's looking so beautiful. This is what I mentioned earlier. In between, maybe you feel like your paintings looking so messy and you may feel like discarding it. Barred wants those tasks 400 to your Galaxy, everything will look pretty okay. Looks like the top part is looking fine. We have added enough stars. Now that focus on the bottom area. Loaded brush with white squash. If you think you can add a few drops of water. I'm kind of obsessed with painting galaxy. Splatter of stars is really a satisfying process for me. A lot of stars. Now I'm going to add those because towns going up very random manner, don't add, don't add them like a cluster. Let it be playing your random. I think we can call it Don. I'm quite happy with the way it has downtown. Okay, so this is how our spiral galaxy has turned out. I'm really happy with the way it is located. I really liked yellow we have over the middle and also Kahlo's surrounding it. And the Black we have applied on the outer corners giving a duper look to everything as giving it a more deeper and denser look. I hope you guys are happy with the way your Galaxy has turned out to speed up the masking tape. I will be calling off your body. I don't want that white Bordeaux for my galaxy. So I'm not really worried about having a clean cut off the four sides. It's totally your choice if you want to keep your whiteboard or you could do that. For some reason. I like to have my whiteboard as the final painting. I hope you all had a great time painting with me. Do give it a try. I'm eagerly waiting to see your magical galaxy.
8. Bookmark 1: Okay, let's start with a bookmark. I have taped on white people onto a bowl. This is a small writing board so that it is easy for me to turn my paper around. The paint can float into each other and create a natural blend. Now, as I mentioned earlier, the three colors I'm going to use for this bookmarks, or para pink and black. The first step is to make your background, but I'm going to apply an even coat a water onto the paper. Make sure water has reached everywhere. The entire paper should be evenly, but my background is, but now I'm going to start with a trapping. Will be going from light to dark. So no matter which will be the colors you're using, you should go with a lighter color. First, I have loaded my size number 12, but in a false appear up here. And I'm simply dropping that into the wet background, leaving some wide gaps in between. There is no particular order or rule here. You simply need to drop your lighter tone onto the red background. It would be great if it can leave some white gaps in between so that your background will automatically have different tones of pink. At some area you will have a light 2to, and at some places you have a bright total. Now I'm switching to Clemson and I am going to drop that into the vet background. Again, the Salton a very randomly I'm not trying to recreate in the image or I don't have any particular thing in my mind. I'm simply applying the color onto the vet background. First I added appear, appear. Now i'm going to Crimson. I'm dealing with a much more targeted and I'm dropping that in between. So you can see, uh, how multiple tones of pink at someplace I have a darker tone and at some area I have left my people white. Now I'm going with the chromosome. You can see my background is not Tad crazy. It is looking a little messy. But that's absolutely okay. We just need a little background to still wet. No matter how messy your background is, we can clean that. Okay. Now, I'm going to wash of the paint from my brush. And I'm dabbing my brush on a people toward my precious Clean. Now, I'm going to take a little of pink on my brush. And again, I'm gonna dab my pressure on people toggle so that the paint is not too watery. Now using this brush, I am going to smudge all those colors. You just need to run your brush around those areas where you feel like it needs a little help and blending. Just push and pull the paint in and out. But don't get rid of all those vital space we have left. I'm happy with the bland. Now I'm switching to the darker tone, mixing relative of Crimson to black to get a taco tone of crimson. Now, I'm going to drop that into the outer corners. Depending on the kind of Luke you want for your Galaxy, whether you want a Docker look, you can add more of black. Or if you want a more of a pinkish and radish galaxy. You can reduce the amount of black you're adding onto your background, but make sure you're leaving those white caps. That is world gives that illuminating look to your galaxy. We want to retain all those lighter isotopes. So when you're adding your taco tones, make sure you're not covering of the lighter tone to have in the background. Your galaxy should be a play of different tonal values of multiple colors. This is what will give your galaxy, are more realistic and traumatic look. You can see I didn't go with any particular Otto. I simply added the Docker tunes. Now it's time to go with black. I need to squeeze out a little of Black onto my Padlet. Now, just like how we added the doctrine of crimson, I'm going to drop in some flack onto the outer corners over here and a little over the top. That in-between, either adding a little. Again, make sure to cover up the entire background colors. We weren't all those Leto and medium tones in the background. You just need to drop in some of the outer corners and a little in-between. You can see I didn't are the lot. This is how our galaxies looking right now. Maybe alert logo. Now I'm gonna wash or the greens from my fish. And I'm dabbing my brush on people to whom. We are gonna do the same process we did earlier. To blend the previous layer. We used pink. This time I'm going with the Crimson. I took crimson on my brush and I'm dabbing my version of paper towel so that the paint on my precious naught to portray it is just down. Now, again, I'm running my pressure around those places where it needs a little help and blending. It is much easier to blend the colors when you have paint on your brush rather than going with the empty brush. So we told me the color, you haven't the background goto, illiterate damn version of that color. Keep dabbing using your brush and Glenda scholars into the background. If you paint us too watery the moment you touch your brush on the vector background, it can create a bloom. And that is the reason why I said the doping shouldn't be too watery. It should be just damp. It is a very easy process. If your background is bet, you simply need to push on polio Carlos and to each other to create a smarter background. It doesn't need to be perfectly blended into each other. Now before the background drives, we need to add those shining stars. For that, I'm switching to whitewash. We have already tried those illuminating Strauss and I will previous spiral galaxies. So I guess you guys are quiet, confident with this tip. This needs to be done by your pack on district. And for that I'm using my size number four, John Parrish, switch to any of your smallest size drawn French. Add a few drops of water into whitewash. Your paint shouldn't be too watery and it shouldn't be too thick Gospel. Now using that whitewash addons, you. White spots onto your background. You can see my whiteboard or slightly spreading into the background and it is not spreading a lot. If you paint us do watery, those whiteboards will spread into the background quite fast and it will be little difficult for you to control the way it is spreading. If it's too thick, it wants spread at all. So you should be having a consistency which is something in between. Maybe avalanche, one moves part and I'll call it a ton because it's a tiny bookmark. They don't need so many shines tasks. Now I'm grabbing a piece of paper towel and I'm telling my brush on a paper toggle. Then I'm running my pressure in a circular movement, just like how we did for the previous paintings. You can see how that targets already glowing. Now I'm going to repeat the same step for all these boards I have added here. When you're doing this step, make sure your brush doesn't have any watery paint. You need a dry brush. So we'll make sure you tap your pressure people toggle and remove the excess amount of water from your brush. Before you do the step, you simply need to run your brush in a circular movement around that white part and make it look little blurry. And wanted the last one. Now we can pick few stars from these and we can create that flare glow effect. I'd like two or three maybe I'll start the discipline first. So you just need to add fuel lines onto the star. A, what did your line cutting through the center, then a horizontal line. Then onto those divisions you need to add few inclined lines. Okay, now I'm gonna do the same on the two most us. You might have noticed. I didn't go with a very pride tune off white. I bent them with a little watery and a lighter tone of white. My bag and understood little vet. So when this lines dries, it will be little faded. And that is exactly what we need. Just like how we created that blurry bytes fart. I wonder blurry flare effect first. Once this dries out, we'll be coming back with a brighter tone of white and I will be adding some more light on top of this. Now, I'm going to add the C. I'll do one more star. Maybe I'll cope with this one over the bottom. The flare affective and look more beautiful venue have a blurry background. Once everything drives vendor splattering the stars, we can add some more boiled and sharp lines onto this should make it looked like really gluing. Now let's wait for the background to dry. Or will background has completely dried? Now the next task is to splatter of stars. On to this, you can see the flare effectively created and those shining stars, everything has faded a bit. Everything's looking little blurry. And this is what exactly we need. Once we add the brighter lines and brighter spots, everything will look like as if they are shining. So wait for the hunt. I'm going to squeeze out some white crash onto my palette. Oh my gosh, I'm gonna ask many as you want. We have added, now using the same brush. I'm going to add them because to us as well, just like we did for our spiral galaxy, randomly pick somebody. You need to add onto that blurry white spots we added as food onto the center of that. So this is the trick to credo shining stars. We need to create that blurry background first. When it dries, it will be little fatal, it won't be that tried. Now, onto the center of these fights phosphate created, you need to add a cried and gold y two dot. And that will make it look like a shining. You can already see some of the staffs are looking as if they are shining. The shining stars will add a lot of beauty and glued to your watercolor galaxies. Now go around and add an aspirin. Use toss you want. Now let's go with that flare effect we created Hill onto these. I'm going to add some fine and crisp lines. We have added a blurry line, polio. Now onto all of these, I'm going to add a thin and delicate line following the baseline to have added there. Onto that. I'm adding a very fine line. You said brush, which IS appointed tip to get that crisp and delicate line. Your land shouldn't be too thick. You can also use your wide open if that is more comfortable for you. Okay, so that's the first one. Now let's go with the second one. I'm going to do the same on to the second one. Then we have one more over the top. All right, so that's our first galaxy. So these are the three colors we used. We started with capoeira pink, then we switch to Clemson. And then we added taco tones using black. And that's how we meet our requirement. Now let's remove the masking team. I'm going to cut off the edges. Clearly, I haven't got a clean border him. Anyway, I'm going to cut the border. So it doesn't really matter whether my partner is looking clean or not. If you would like to have that white border, you can keep that our CTO, messy part or like mine. You can choose to cut them off so that it looks clean and neat. You can do this bookmark with any of your favorite color composition. In the next section, we'll be trying out a similar bookmark or the different color combination. So you will get to know how you can use the same technique and try out different color combinations. I have got the Bardo. I don't want a sharp corners, I won't rounded corner books. So I'm just cutting off though. And I'm making them rounded. Now on to the last one. Okay. So you just need a cut off, a piece like that from your call enough to get this or download candelas. So that's our first bookmark. Now let's cover the second color Company.
9. Bookmark 2: Alright, we tried it will first galaxy bookmark. Now let's try the second one. These are the tricolor that I'm going to use for this one. Cobalt cream. Two guys, blue and black. First, I'm going to fix the people onto my board. Alright, so affix the people onto the board and I have changed my water. I have two jars of clean water. First, let's quasar the colors on Toggle palette and keep them ready. The first color as cabal cream. You can go with any of the pastry, blue or green you have caught. Then I'm gonna go with two guys, blue, black. Okay, so the colors are ready. Now I am going to apply a clean cold water onto the people who are using my two inch brush brush and even colder water. Now switching to my size number 12 Von Crush, just like the previous pink bookmark and going with a lighter color first. The lighter color I have here is cabal Craig. I'm acquainted with that first, load your brush with enough of cream. And just like how we did go there, I'm going to drop in that color onto the people, leaving some white caps. And between I'm going to leave a little white area or what? You can leave those wider space variable you want to now randomly adding your paint onto the vector background. Okay? Now I'm going to wash of the paint from my switching to took guys blue. Now onto these in-between spaces, I'm going to drop into car is blue. I'm going to read in the white over there. I'm not going to add any turquoise blue over there. Okay. Now I'm going to watch all the paint on my brush. And I'm dabbing my brush on a paper towel. Oh, now we're gonna do the same steps we did allele in the pink bookmark. I'm going to run the TAM brush on top of the pain to make them a little more small talk. You can take a little of paint on your brush or you can simply run, are damped brush. Make sure your precious Clean. Simply push and polio paint and to each other to give them a more smarter Look, we don't need a perfectly smooth background here. Simply push and pull the kalos and make them spread into each other. It can be little drug. That's absolutely okay. Now I'm going back with a darker tone of turquoise blue. Adding that in. You can see all the Hill. I'm not going to hide any taco dorms and bleeding that lie to June to have over there. No unclean with black. Adding a bit of black into turquoise blue to get a darker tone. I will be adding this darker tone more onto the outer corners. I will be retaining the lighter tone to have order matter and add more of darker tones along the edges. It is the same steps we used for this one. I started with a lighter tool, then I went in with two guys blue and now I'm adding Black onto all the outer corners. Simply I do docker tunes onto the vet background. You can add them variable you want to. You really do need to follow the way I'm doing it till if you want a light to looking at the corners and darker looking Santo, you can't do those awards. So it's totally your choice where you want your Docker tunes and you're lighter tones. Ok, now I'm going to wash out the interim my brush. And I'm switching back to turquoise blue. I will take a little of turquoise blue on my brush and Tevatron my brush on top of all those dark patches. And we'll give it a more smarter look, just like we did in the previous bookmark. Once you have taken paint on your brush, W brush on people toggle so that the paint was not too watery. Then simply run new brush on top of those taco patches. Keep pulling and pushing the paint inward and outward. You can stop the step whenever you're happy with your background. Now I'm switching back to a level of Black. And I'm making the outer corners a bit more darker. This is just from my satisfaction. If you have already got a darker looking background and if you're happy with your background, you don't need to do the step at all. You can leave your bookmark acidosis. I took two guys blue again, and I adapt my vision of people toggle and EMS munching logos, new plaque which I applied or weirdo, outer edges. Ok. Now I'm gonna switch to my smaller size brush. And I'm calling with Bitcoin. She just like how we did for this one, how we created those shining stars. I'm going to drop in some random white bought onto this phenomenon. It has exactly the same steps we use for the first one. So go ahead and add in some random white spots onto your wet background. Just like I mentioned in the previous section, you're consistently shouldn't be too loose and to take, it should be something in between. Also the size of your bites pod is also totally your choice. If you want a beco shining stars, we can go for a because Coach. Or if you want a small shining star, you can call what smaller circle. We have added quite a lot of shining stars. Now I'm washington being from Library and I'm dabbing my pressure on a clean people Tova. Then taking my approach in a circular movement. And I'm smudging that into the background to give it a more blurry and faded look. This is the same stuff we did for the spiral galaxies and also for the previous bookmark. You just need to add a white dot or d Oveta background. Then simply take your brush in a subclass moment to make it look little blurry and faded. Now let me quickly run my pressure on top of all these white cards and make them look blurry. If you took your brush onto a darker Ada first, don't forget to clean your brush before you call it the lighter areas. Otherwise, all the black and get mixed with your lighter tones and it can spoil your background. So make sure you clean your brush. If you have taken your brush onto a darker area first, you should be having a clean brush when you go onto the lighter Helios. I'm nearly done now on to the last one on the top. After those will be creating that Claire glow effect for the stars will be picking one or two staff from these and we'll create that glowing effect. Okay, the background is still red. Let's go with the first round off that flare effect. I have added one, i'm going with another one. You can choose to have two or three, or four or five. How much it will you'll want to stork lee Yochai's for the third one. And this time I'm not clean with that cross lines. I'll just add the horizontal and vertical line. Okay, now, let's wait for the background to try. So our background has completely dried. Now it's time to splatter the stars. For that. I'm going with my wife quash, adding fuel drops of water. Now using my bigger brush, I'm gonna tap on my spoiler brush to create those teeny tiny stars. Just like our other galaxies, you can add as many stars as it will. Keep on tapping on your brush. Create these Chinese plateaus. If you're more comfortable using a 2D gross, you can follow that technique. It doesn't matter which technique locally. We just need some stats on our world, but keep on adding them. Until you feel like you have stars on your galaxy. Until about the consistency. Don't forget, it's like Adonis scrap piece of paper. Okay. Once you have added enough false bloodless, you can add and those because taus, We have added up these three stars here with that flare effect. Our last step is to add up ten delicate line on top of those, just like competent on this pink bookmark, your line should be asked in as possible. If you prefer using a wide open you can switch to a white sharpen, your saw brush potassium pointed tip. Okay, with that, we're done with our second bookmark. Please make sure your alliance on or two-port efforts to ball. It didn't look that prickling. Your line should be very thin and delicate. I'm going to peel off the masking TDE, cutting off the border like the previous one. But I think this one, I have got a clean Bordeaux, Not like the pink ones. I'm going to cut off the bottom. So as we discussed while we were touring the pink bookmark, you can try out the scene with any of your favorite color competition. It doesn't need to be the same colors are used here. You can go with the purple one, a green one are yellow and an orange one, or a black and white one. Anything would really work. You can use the same technique. Firstly down the lighter tones, then go with a medium tones, then with a clean brush, tries marching all those Kahlo's. Then you can go with your taco tone, which can be black or any other darker, yellow. Once you have added that, again, go with another round of smartphone. Use a clean brush and Marceau Carlos Bell and create a background first. Then before the background dries, you can add in that white spots. Then it gains mage dot also into the background and create that blurry white boards. After that, we'll have to wait for everything to try. Then you can splatter, then you can supply to your styles. And there you go. You have your Galaxy ready. Okay? So just like the previous one, I have cut the border and we have both the bookmarks ready here. These are very easy to do. We just need to keep your back on bed for a longer time and play with the colors and smash them to get a beautiful blend. Trial the same with any of your favorite color companies. I'm very sure you will enjoy the process and the loved intracellular aswell. Now take out that favorite book ofthe CEO's and frowned you're super galaxy bookmarks.
