1. Introduction: I strongly believe that if you have a burning desire to develop any new skill, then you must explore every possible way to gain that knowledge. In fact, our conscious minds start looking for vadis inspiration on motivation, along with our journey friends my name is dancing on I'm a watercolour artist, teacher on art motivator to enabling many students will learn this amazingly beautiful article medium. I'm glad today we have a great platforms that are skills there to say my watercolor skill globally. On enabling, many students learn watercolor through my watercolor class. In this watercolor class, I'm teaching how to use your basic understanding off watercolor to make simple get beautiful waterfall of bending prime. The gold from this class is toe move one level head for water full of basics. Every lesson is crafted with very simple step by step process, which is extremely easy to follow and easy to learn. I welcome you to this place pool, water clock loss on. I strongly believe that this class we definitely are a lot more values at Norden into your watercolor. Julie, Thank you so much. Everyone on happy watercolor 2. Art supplies you need: so I will just take you through which all the art supplies we need. So the first thing we need is thes watercolor paper. So this watercolor people is called grace watercolor people having a little bit off for texture in it. A Doesn't matter, even if there is, you know no texture on you, can you? You're absolutely free toe, you know, select any watercolor paper available in your area. So there is a lot of burned which you can go ahead with. So the size of this people is about, you know, it's a emphasize, so it's a little bit slightly bigger than a four. You need this paper tape you need when dry cloth. So any drag lot most recommendable is the soft carton. So you need that when track lot for this on, uh, I'm using here thes deals, which is from camel in. So I'm just using these two, but you're you're absolutely off, you know, have a freedom to go ahead and select whichever the brand you want, So that's absolutely fine. And the only thing is, you should have this liquid based watercolor like a do one. I wanted the important thing you need is these braces. So, you know, right now, Here, I'm using these. These are calligraphy brushes, which is absolutely good for watercolor also. So I'm using these. You know, about this process, which is basically used for the holographic, but you are absolutely free to go ahead and select whichever what Willbros you want on having. I think that this 34 roses is sufficient for me. So you're gonna have that These bruises, And of course, you need some pencil on the razor on The basic thing is like a Caesar on. Uh, of course you need off. Ah, ball of water on the, uh, the most important part is your color palette. So I'm using this color ballot, which has verity off, you know, think color option toe shoes so you can go ahead with any color palette you have. Even a smaller size will do. So you need that also. So that's the only thing you need 3. Getting ready to paint: So, first thing what you need is you need to have one. So, office, every form Hart's office, probably hardboard or drawing board will do. Please that, people. Oh, in your art board on, uh, you need to mask it all the side. So now I am masking it, so we just need to hold it here, press it, and just move it like this. Take the Caesar and cut it off. So you need to do it. Enough. All the side. Make sure that this not be any blotting on the paper. So when you do that, be very careful. But you don't need to be very hard there. Otherwise, there will be a some bubbling into your people when you faint. So make sure that you should not up to much. Here they gently we have are people ready for paint. So now you can see that all the side, the masking tape has been applied on Duh. It's a very form and study. So now you've been just start walking on it. So we're not done here. So after this, we need to do ah little more stretching of the people because the pressure of the people it's little harder. So you need to meet this paper little soft. Take this very soft breasts. Onda. Uh, just apply the water a little bit off water here and all over from the top. Just take a little water on a light. You will not have a problem with the blotting. You know, the people blotting and other stuff. So you have a nice clean surface to walk on, So let it dry completely. So once this good try this. This Can you see this blotting paper blooding now? So that would get settled on. After that, you can start, you know, making painting. 4. Watercolor sketch: Okay, so now let's locate this people. So this is completely dried and stable, though there is a little bit of her blotting, but that's not an issue. I mean, you will have on a sombre t'pol blotting. It's also depend on the kind of people you're using. But, uh, at this moment, this is absolutely fine. You will have in a some bit of bloating. But that's not that's not of any. Any issue should be. So no, let's start sketching on before that. You obviously I mean, for this tutorial I have already drawn Ah, one off one compilation, so that will give you a reference. So whenever you are trying to create any you know, any any cityscape or any kind of comparison you wonder toe make whether it's ah reference photograph or your imaginative just droid as a rough or exactly how I have been it should be very, you know, it's not too much of complex or just see that how complexity you wanted to bring in your paintings. It's all depend on you, but that this, uh, this project I just wanted to make a very simple, um, completion. So we have some house here and behind some more buildings on just weren't. There is a very small church on the front. Off the shorts there is a one car, couple of person. They're just, you know, the handshaking. And no, they're just talking Onda way Have this office, so there's a kind of competition we have. So now we have to transfer this whole competition into our, you know, walking area. So we need to sketch first. So whenever you're sketching, just see that. What is the focal point? What is the center point? So I want this whole thing to be like, this part should be my surface. So this gives you a lot of control to your competition because you will be aware of that where I have to complete my completion. And from there we are just leaving That s office. So I just school and start stretching. So there's this is all the front one buildings here on the groups here. Windows just this small George here, just part of this halls. - I'm just in front of this, George. There's the one car standing 5. First layer of watercolor: wear doing forced layer of this painting on. We will be completing this painting in a three different layer, so let's go head on and make a very foster layer. But before that, let me introduce the color which I'll be using through our this tutorial. So I'll be using this ultimate and blue Onda sepia. This is all the green orange yellow ocher Ponsana olive on. Uh, this is red, so I'll be using all of these color mixing together. So let's start painting sky first because you'll have toe work from talked to bottom. So it's an important recommendable to start from from the top. So I'm just using this ultramarine blue on, uh, just right after applying the color. I've just used Hardee's and Blue and, uh, a little more water for blending. Make sure that when you're painting, your board has to be around 25 degree off angle. So your color, you know, false dawn on it gives you a company blending effect. So we have completed our sky Sonali starting painting these horses, they're in the background. I'm just using this Bonci Anna, so make sure that when you're painting, you have to mix we talk other colors, like in this case, I'm using Ponsana and you have a car, so just try to mix at least couple of color together so it gives you, oh, flavor of corn mixer again, this bond Sienna on the yet Walker. So the moment I'm going down, I'm just using a slightly darker taint. You can make a you know, even Mawr doctor mixing with ultramarine blue the same thing here also. So So basically, we are Harding. The values color values in different places. Otherwise, if a lot makes the color, your painting will be very flat. So it's a very important to mix the various color previously. It doesn't mean that you have toe make several, you know, the color in it. Just try toe makes a couple of color together. So this one is the front those So your first layer will be a little lighter on the moment you're going. Oh, you know, second there and the third layer that will become more a little more harder. So I just wanted to keep that wall white, and there is a couple of guys standing, so I'll just leave that place on. We'll walk on that later point off the time with the same process again have usedto bon sienna on a local. So that's basically the primary color. More once you know and yellow car. So in your in this painting that becomes a very primary, very prominent, prominently things colors will be used. So, you know, first layer just try toe give a water by color represent that specific place. Like in this case, the church had the charge Gate should be little darker, so I have used that DACA teen there. So I just I left the white space for card also because I wanted to paint it, you know, later. But make sure that when your painting you need to be very quick. Or maybe, you know, but just be very cost. It's about the color which should not get dry. If this guy try, then there will be a edge on. But it's very difficult. Oh, no, uh, meant in that. So be that he called since aboard act nothing, your color should not be adjusted. Not get dry in the first layer. Second there and third layer if you get dried. No, no problem. But in the first layer. It should not. That's so really important lesson which you have toe understand? No, we're walking on the surface, so no again. I'm using this. You're Walker on Ponsana. Better pigment on nd with toe All the man in blue Very gently This So sometimes you really don't need to Even, you know, makes the color we talk the any other color Like you really don't need to mix two colors. So in this case, I've just taken the ultramarine blue and used it at the surface No, I will be walking on the guard. So the first layer is basically our direction. Direction off your painting. So whichever color on the personality you want to give on your object that has to go in your post player. Just be Keep that personality there. - All right, So we have done our first on some of the elements like will be walking later 6. Second layer of watercoloring: wait. So we're doing a second layer of this painting. So in this layer, we will be covering this are building first from the top, and then we'll go down gradually. But before that, let's start painting the behind building, which will be a the kind of impression which will represent that building is likely far away. So I'm using the school colors ultramarine blue and mixing with slightly sepia. So I'm just using the slightly less water to bring that perspective kind off, you know, environment on, uh, there are some mandina on, uh, in the the other part of the building living this white space, which is very important. Lead that space for the window, that group's toe a different dimension off bending. So make sure that wherever it is possible, just leave that space somewhere, but make sure that they should not be too much of hard color. It just very light seeds off color because these buildings are far away from from bad, you know, from the background where the judge and the car, but never forget to have experiment with different color at least a couple of color. You should have in your color in your, you know, in your painting. So look so these anti knows on the other detail of the painting. - So we are taking a slightly darker color because these buildings are the front on the color value. The death has to be a slightly darker that will give you the impression off. You know, these buildings are the closer Onda. Uh, the behind building ceviche is a far so just play veto Various light and left exact leave what I'm doing now. So now we will be painting the the other building there. So when you're taking the color, they make sure that what about the color you have already taken in your first layer? You should take the same color, but this time will be a little darker means less water on a slightly more color, sticking this ultramarine blue and orange, mixing together, just giving us some deft on the roof. So we need to being a little deaf there because the roof so there's a a little darker leaving the space for window. And this is important leaving the space. It's so important now. Can you see that? How does it actually popping up? It's a the windows and the overall. The character of this painting is evolving now. Just believe it all the color best very possible to bring those lights and deft there. - So here I'm just, you know, giving you know, the impression off the falling light. That's a very straight cut, because those shadows the other part the building is the saddle is falling. And hence there will be a some very prominent, the source off light, giving a little bit off death here and there, so people are still having a bit of moisture, so it's a kind of weight on weight color application, just a little bit of touch up with the ceiling on. When you do this painting, make sure that issue not over work because we were working on watercolor. Sometimes it gives the experience. It kills the the overall, you know the look and feel off the painting so makes of that weather. But this is necessary whenever it's required, being that death on the light. Now we'll be walking on this charge, so these are the falling star does on the other details. I don't want to do much detailed walk here and the entrance the gate should have the doctor. I don't I hope this this is a much easier. It's basically for work. Well, does art lover who's just, you know, trying to learn? What about this is basically very simple, the water cooler patches and the overall calorie. But it's very effective even for the semi advanced Lauren or on, of course, for the winner. All you need to be, you know, you should learn from this tutorial s the proper light on death, and that's all about it. Watercolor. What a goal! It It's on the board. The right amount off destined life below warm color, you know? So I'm working on other building, so I've taken the seeing color as our first layer. But this time I pick on a slightly darker than the previously, and this is double off the building. There should be a little doctor on the other details like 99 another? No, I don't want to, you know, make this very dog. I just wanted to have little death, but not always striking. So I just use this. The Knicks off Bon Sienna on ultramarine blue on leaving the stays for windows which women walk on the finishing line there was doing out. As of now, we just kept it as it is. So those cuts are very important if you want. You know, if you want to present a light But this one we just wanted to cover home want castle as a one in a one color. I'm using this. Set you on ultramarine blue. Well, painting such kind off snaggle don't work. Oh, you know, walk on the wall or any other stuff. Any other such kind off scenario there? Waas. This painting will look very close for the lot off patches that that kills the whole experience. So I think I think that's fine. No, what? We have done this. We should be happy with that. 7. Second layer + final touch: way are continuing with our previously So currently, I'm walking on the windowsill off this car. Just taken the slightly darker color up that oneself leave the space wherever it is possible. Now we have to bring the extra layer off the red so the more and more layered you'll introduce, your painting will become more signer. Oh, this car, I'm just using the second layer off for according off this red color on, uh, we also need toe the brain dough, the death into the car Space city in the the bottom side. - That's all I know. Not much work, I just said, working too much. Oh, you know, the patches wouldn't bring gluttonous. So especially in our initial level, when you are learning watercolor, just try toe, you know, eliminate those extra lady. So we need to bring that here the saddles off this car very gently. And that's those saddles. The car on these saddles are become so important, you know, when you a plight properly. So for this human also will be walking on those saddles. So now we have to walk on this office, the courts off it. It's always good to see the biggest texture and it Now we need to bring the there's some more deft on, uh, this kind of for, you know, the saddle finding your work, it just like it It completes, you compose Asian. So make sure that when you're making such kind of work, you should have a red Oh, you know those shadows. So this weapon days, a couple of guys there, this stopping school on this guy's wedding, the courts and we're going to present putting his hand in the pocket and maybe just taking her and with the other fellow so very simple, absolutely easy way toe, you know, But at present, the human There's a lot of for the way, too being that. But it's it is a kind of impression we are walking. We're not walking the the detailing part off it. It's kind of her impression. So just next to the door, maybe the story would be like, you know, no, the couple of guys came their natural Chandor. They're just meeting. They're planning their weekends, so the story can be anything. It all up to you. What story you want to build after the paint he should be should have us on the story. It should not be monitor nous, although I could become a very boarding. So the other guy also had taking this yellow T said guy on, uh, this is the hair. Now let's work on the telling part. I just, uh, give for some bit of full. I didn't deal off its element. So here we are, walking Rijs, giving our impression off the window. So I've just taken a pretty, uh, small Want a deal for color Onda? Uh, very less water. In fact, it just walks like, you know, a texture. It's a driver's texture. So you can just wipe the extra water and you can see that you will have a little bit of texture on your on your brother's when you being on the paper. Andi, Uh, you can just do that. So did that. And why the extra water, Onda, uh, you will have some sort off, you know, the dry Bruce, the dry color, which is absolutely fine for such kind of work. So just brings some off the you know, the detailing. Not too much, but it just like a somewhere to bringing the life into the painting and possibly wherever you feel that the results opportunity to being the death and light. So bring that gold, you know, detailing my breasts. Hearts are very less water in it. On most of the time, I'm just using drivers. But as I said earlier, you should not have too much off walk, uh, done in the painting. So keep that in mind, and I just use this ultimate Madden blue for the the building, which is so behind, so the same technique. Just wipe of the straw. What? Ornette on, uh, just giving on a some bit of for, you know, touch up here and there. And yeah, So now you can see that there is a personality of your painting establishing now, Uh, so you can make such kind of for, you know, the dry Bruce kind of effect where they were. Oh, youthfulness necessary. Like, in this case, I'm just using here in the window a little walk on the door. It just kind of full, you know, the the extract death, that's all. No, in the car. Also, we need to give a little bit of for they're detailing. No, no. You can do a lot of experiment in this case, Laker. In this car you can display on leaving some white space on several the way toe walk on the No, the car. It steals me. No. For the people there. Just, uh, giving Go directly the tickler off for orange on, uh, some bit off pigment to establishing the character. No, If you want, you can hard several other people. Also there might be, You know, law, some back are maybe fume or are probably in a somewhere in the coffee salt There people are having coffee there. So that's kind of competition, The kind of story, and you can build it there. All right, so I think we're pretty good with this Onda. We should be happy with that with this outcome. I hope you have learned from this tutorial. 8. Enjoy the final painting: on on. Here goes. We have risked end of this lesson Now, this the time where you have to remove this masking tape on the lives of the beating. Look at your painting. And just so you know, enjoy this dive What you have done appreciate your afford and be happy about it. Just remember all the, you know, great learning you hard wild with this painting on what you yourself. That's the biggest factor known this medium moderate. You'll have to make a Newark. Make many off this on. Certainly you'll be improving, which everything. Right. So you have to do that very frequently, so thank you so much. Everyone watching this lesson? I'm really your time for this. Thank you, everyone.
