1. Introduction: Hi guys, my name is Kate and I had been painting with watercolors for six years. You can learn more about my creativity on my Instagram page. This is my nickname and will be really glad if you subscribe. Here, I show the life of an artist and write useful posts about what a color. And today I have prepaid new watercolor lesson for you. We will paint cone flowers in the field. In this lesson, you will learn how to draw flowers and read is how to use mass concrete. How the band, using wet on wet technique. How to focus their attention on the desired object. How to paint small details using colored pencils and whitewash. That good. 2. Step 1: masking fluid: I start with a pencil drawing. First, I will draw some flowers in the foreground. To draw at current flower, I draw a speaker, oh well, these are blue pair tells. Below, I draw a circle which I'll connect. It could be the petals using go to lines. This is a flower biped and the last element is the stem of the flower. Now I will add another flower below its pair. Taus are arranged in the shape of what grows. And I'll draw an ear on the left. In order to draw the wheat, I draw small OAuth as if I'm bringing them into a break. Now, I erase that role when renin eraser to make it failed it. You probably already know that watercolor is a transparent brain that easily shows pencil lines. Now I take my skin, I use masking fluid by ashmem game. It has a comfortable spot from which you can squeeze the liquid without additional brushes. I covered two flowers and then yeah, we we then masking liquid. Now lead the masking liquid dry completely. If you start painting with watercolor before drying the liquid, then it will begin to roll in lumps and arena that whole painting. So be patient. 3. Step 2: background: Before I start painting with watercolor, you need to prepare colors. I moisten the paint cameras that I use with clean water. While the paints are absorbing water, I wet the paper with clean water. In order to focus the viewer's attention on the desired object. There are flowers and an ear with, in our repeat chat, I will bend them clearly and the background will be blurred. The wet-on-wet technique is great for creating this effect. I take burnt sienna and banned the horizon line. Since the paper is red, the color flows very easily. I bent over the entire lower part of the sheet with this column. At the same time, I begin to make inclined lines to go on the texture of the blades of grass. Now I take raw umber color and paint the blades of grass again in order to wane GABAergic strokes and convey the nature of myths and, and predictability of nature. I hold the brush fire from its base. This way, the brush makes more unpredictable strokes. It is important not to faint parallel lines so that the grassroots nature. Now I mix cobalt and on, but to get a nice gray shade with this color, I paint over the entire space when this guy and they mix this color relief Butte College to get the blurred background. Now, I use a dark brown color and paint a blade of grass to the full height of the sheet. It is important to print several elements across the entire state so that the viewer understands how closely he's looking at the ease of greed and current flowers. I also create small inflorescences at the tip of the blades of grass. To do this, just paint a few strokes on the sides of the blades. Now I'm mixing olive green, mid brown. I continue to paint grass blades with this column in order to create maximum contrast between them. Blades of grass in the foreground and then blurred background. I add a dark brown color to been fought them on the sheet. Basically, I darken this space next to the blades of grass that had covered with masking fluids, the vapor has already started to dry. So there is no point in introducing new carlos of grass. This can only ruin the current beautiful field. So I move on to painting the flowers in the background. I take a deep blue color. This is cobalt, a paint the petals of different shapes in the background. If this color sports blur in your painting, then don't worry, it will be even more features and events in mind. To create the effort of small flowers. We cannot see in detail. I spray blue paint over the painting. The last step is to dry on the beach and with the hair dryer. 4. Step 3: foreground: Now I'm removing the gammas can plead to do this. You can use your fingers or erase it, mean then areas, then shake the masking fluid of the picture so that no lump of it remains on your painting. Now, I'll mix the burnt sienna with water to get a pale shade. And I've completely paint over and read it. To Quantum Method texture I band the division of wheat integrates using dark brown color. In several places, I met a clearer border. I have a more saturated color to the background to emphasize the border of their meat. By emphasizing the outer edge of this object, you bring the subject to the foreground. I move on to painting the flowers. Again. I think cobalt and brained or within parentals. To make the flower move wantonness, I add a dusty bind it valid for the shadow. I paint over them, but really the S situated dusted violet color. And I paint the stem of the flower using olive brown color. I repeat the same actions. We then allow a flower. First, I band over the petals, read covered. Then I add a shadow and paint the stem. In this step, I finish to use whatever color and move on to painting with color with pencil and wide wash. Because I mixed whitewash, we combine it with this color. I bend the light petals of current flowers in the foreground. Then I use an ultra marine pencil to add saturation. This way we picture sickness only the objects that are like gated in the foreground. Thus, we once again vocals the viewer's attention on these subjects. The last step is to add a splash of whitewash or a more intersect effect. So thank you for watching my class and I really appreciate the thrust. Is it T2? Then forget to subscribe to my Skillshare count here every month, I make new watercolor lesson. Also. Really glad to see your paintings in student's project section. I hope to see you soon. Bye.
