1. Introduction: Hi, my name is James and I'm the instructor for this course and using few more actin create your videos. I've been making videos since two zeros, 09, and then use a wide variety of your editing software. Now these costs, I will show you how to use Gomorrah. Whereas for your business projects or for your personal projects, the software works just as well. Even if you're a beginner and I've never created a video before, I'm gonna cover things right from the beginning. Things like the user interface, how to import audio and video into few Mora, how you arrange clips, how you add audio and also adding things like transitions and buy those as well after you've done that and also have some intermediate topics like how to create things like picture in picture, using your green screen and also using some of the effects that's available in a few more. I also include a personal project in the course. So there you see me put the video together using all the techniques that I teach in this course. I look forward to seeing you in the cost and more importantly, seeing your video projects as well. That Australian 2. Where To Download The Correct Version: Before you begin this class, make sure that you have to write software, downloaded. The place to download few Mora is femora dot when they share head.com. Now want to share releases a few of your morass software. The one video using is called Fillmore itself. There is another one which is coffee more pro and few more, Al Gore. Take note that this software are very different from the one that we're going to use which is on the shaft Fillmore right? Now to download the software, click on Free Download. And then you are given this file. Save the file into your computer somewhere. You can save it on your desktop. I'm just going to save it here. Once it's safe. You can go to your folder In this to install the software. Once you have installed the software, we will continue the class. 3. Suggestion To Approach This Class: A few ways to approach this class in using few mora. My suggestion is if you are really new to feel Mora, then take the first few lessons so that you've familiarized yourself with the user interface where things are located, each function, simple things like dragging and dropping, splitting, trimming n, etc. If you have used the moral before, then feel free to jump to whatever lessons that you prefer. However, the earlier lessons will give you the foundation for the later sections. I would also encourage you to create your own video project using for Mora, Just a short project, say one to 2 min. You can use any of your own video clips, or you can also use some other royalty-free clips that you can download. I hope you enjoyed the class and remember to leave a review for this class as well, so other people can decide whether it is suitable for them. 4. Overview of User Interface : When you first open femora, you'll see a screen like this allows you to create new projects. And you can also see your previous projects. Now if you're using it for a first-time, then you won't have any of these files here. These are my previous files. You can create a project based on the aspect ratio. The common one would be 16/9. However, these days, it is also common to make videos thereof in portrait format of square format or any other format as well. So you can change the aspect ratio here. And you can also change the aspect ratio when you are inside editing femur itself. There are also different modes that allows you to create instant mood. Users templates, screen recorder, auto reframing. If you're turning a widescreen video into our portrait video, you can do that and other options as well. But generally speaking, you will use most of the time in this new project. And you can also open up these projects later on when you start a project. So let's start a project and I'm going to stick with the white screen for this class. Now, this is the user interface in femora, and this is the classic layout. You can generally divide this into three sections. The one on the top left will be your medial stopped media, audio titles, transitions, and et cetera. We're on the top right beyond media player or the preview window that covers this area. And then at the bottom is the timeline now right, on the bottom right, and there is also an audio meter. Now if you're more a trough, there are layoffs that you can choose. You can choose the classic or the default layout, or the layout, as well as other things as well. Now the default layout looks like this. Imagine the default layer and which is quiz, and you have this project information over here with the short video format. The player is on her right here so that you can see your video in greater detail. I found it using a few moron. I will either use the classic layout or the default layout. This will be the two most common ones. So it depends on you which one you prefer. However, for me, for the most of the license, are we using the classic layout? Let's go to the media and imports or media, go to Import Media, media files. Various ways. You can do it here. Or you can just drag and drop into this window. You can import the media folder. So an entire folder of files will be there. You can also important say from a camera phone or from other apps like Google Drive or Dropbox as well. So let me show you how to import the file one by one. Let's do this. I'm going to import some sample video. Let's say this one here. And you can see that this circle is turning green, which means it is being important. Once the cycle is complete, the video is ready to use. Now let's do it a different way. Let's say I'm going to import it with dragging and dropping. Okay, So earlier lighter, important this, Let's say I'm going to drag this tree video into the folder. I'm going to select this, select this and drag it. And the videos are important as well. You can also import pictures or audio as well, the same way you go to the View Options. You can view those by small thumbnail, large thumbnail view. Also the ListView. Depending on the number of files. If you have a lot of files, I feel that it will be easier to have lists. You can actually switch these around as you edit. Okay, so let's play this video. And you can see the video player here. Alright, so this is the preview window. In order for the video to play smoother, depending on your computers capability and hardware, you may want to turn this down to say, half quality of video playback will be smoother and it doesn't affect your quality too much as you view. However, this doesn't affect your video when you x plus 0 is okay to turn it down even to a quater, you find that you are using, say for k footage and your computer can really handle that. You can use this. Now there are also stopped media desk provided by tomorrow. So e.g. if you go to flip stocks, they are things like solid color, gradient color. And you can also look for sudden footage as well. E.g. these are some of those that are provided as well as safe from pixels. Pixabay, you can actually download these videos. Let's say I want to use this. Now I've already downloaded this earlier on. Let's say I want to download, say, this one, right? You'll notice this arrow here. Let's turn this to large thumbnail. You'll notice that there's an arrow, which means that this video hasn't been downloaded. Because I see that this is HD, which means this is a high definition video. If you click on it, you're telling few more to download the video and you can use this video later on. These are the rest of the menus. If I were to drag this onto the timeline, now femoral will pop-up, warning if the resolution and the frame rate of this particular video clip does not match their project. So you get two choice whether you want to match it to the media or keep the project settings. So I'm just going to match it to the media. And this is the clip nowadays on my timeline. I can split it and I can trim it, which we will cover a little bit later in the next video. 5. Edit 4K high resolution video smoothly: In this video, we'll show you how you can actually edit your videos. Moodle, especially if you are using high resolution clips, for example, for k, or if your computer is actually marginal performance. So what you want to do is head on over to your fall, hidden know what your preferences and go to the performance tab. Here, you have the option to turn on a GPU acceleration. If you have a GPU, turn on enable hardware acceleration for video rendering and lay back. You should also enable hardware acceleration for video and decoding. If you have more than one graphics card, you can select this here. Or in my case there's only one. So I just select this in case you're not sure whether you have a GPU, then you can click on this button and femora will search your computer to find out if there is a suitable GPU. Next, there is something called preview render. You can set this to break down render, which means a few more Ravel automatically. Preview render your video clips. You can set this either to render immediately or after a certain time. For example, ten or 15 seconds. Alright? This is where all your preview render files are kept. You can browse them. Okay, I'm just going to cancel. One thing to be careful is that after a while they could be a lot of these files. So you can clean those files manually or by clicking on this button here. Click on yes. Or you can also select this to automatically delete random files when a project file is closed, if you're editing your videos over several days and opening and closing the file, I suggest that you turn it off and only do a manual clean once your project is completed. Next is the proxy. Proxy means tomorrow, we'll create a smaller size video as you edit. This is especially important if you have, say, two k for k and videos. Once you select this from mara will automatically proxies. You can select when to create such proxies. For example, when you have larger than full HD or even 720 p. So you can select any of this. Here is the location of where your proxy files are created. So it is empty at the moment. And you can also select automatically delete proxies when a project is close. Again, if you're editing your project over a few days, I suggest that you turn this off and come here to manually clean your proxies when your project is completed. This way, for more, I do not need to re-creating the proxies every time you open it, your project. Okay? So once you're done, you can select, Okay? And femora will tell you that these settings have been updated and it will only take effect when you open for more on that next time. So hidden, okay? And you can actually see here, you can see that it's actually creating the proxies here as well. This is how you can ensure your project is Moodle as you edit your videos. What final thing, even though you use proxies when you export the video, you can still select for k from Laura will still use the original clips so that the quality of your video isn't affected. 6. How To Split Trim and Move Clips: In this lesson, I will show you how to split and trim your video. I will also show you how to pre-treat your video before you drag it onto the timeline. The reason you want to do that is so that your timeline doesn't become too cluttered up. This is especially useful if your original video clips are very long. That way you just want to select the sections that you want and then drag it onto the timeline and edit from there to pre-train your video. What you do is to select the clip that you want. Double-click it and it will show up on this preview window or your viewer. And you can play this by pressing on Display button, or you can also just press the Spacebar on the keyboard you saw wanting came up in the morning is about this video quality. So in order for your video to place would lead, you can turn it down to half quality because this section here is only a quarter of my entire video screen, and my video screen is full HD. By obtaining the quality slightly down, it will be smoother. You can play this by pressing this button or the space bar. I usually use the space bar to play. Let's say I want to select this particular section somewhere here. I can select the endpoint, alright, Martin in point here, and then continue to play. So I'm going to pause it. And somewhere here I'm going to mark the out point and I'm going to use these to the point. You can also use the I on the keyboard to mark in an 0 on your keyboard to mount point. So once you have mark this, I'm going to drag this onto the timeline. Alright. This is what you have. Now once you have your clip on the timeline, you can still trim it. And this is what we're gonna do. Let's say, I do not want to see this photograph. I'm just going to stop somewhere here. What I can do is to hover my mouse over to this clip here. And you'll see that the mouse icon changes to a different one. Left-click and you can drag it to the left. And you are actually trimming it. And you can do the same for the front of the video. Now Let's say this is a little bit too long. I can just grab the front of the video, will be to the left for me. Then I can actually move this back. Okay? Now, you notice that that clip doesn't go. Stick to it. You can do is right-click and enabled timeline snapping. Okay, now we timeline snapping turned on. The clip will sort of get sucked into that. Alright, so we will hit here, you will stick to the anodic clip precisely without leaving any gaps. Next, I will show you how to split a clip. Now sometimes you may see for this clip here, I want to cut off some of the past is not so interesting. Instead of trimming it, I can also split this. There are a few ways to split it. One is to use this and click on it to split this. Okay? Now you have two sections of this clip. And if you want to split this one here, it is split into another section. So you can remove this by deleting it if I want to. Okay? So that's one way to do it. You turn on the repo, the function and you delete it. The clips will all get a close up that gap. Okay, let me undo that. This is the function to close auto repo, right? So let me show you again. Split this year. Split this here, select this. Okay, so all these clips go to the left. Let me undo that. If this turned off, you won't happen, you will delete it and leave a space. Let me undo that first. There's another tool which is this quick split mode. Alright, so let's drag this clip down to the n. This is a fairly long section here. With a quick split. More. You select this, you can go to resection. So you are scrolling quickly, notice it on the preview window as well. So you can also split it as quickly as well. Alright? And then change the tool back. Then you can select, delete this, or you can report the lead is depending on how you prefer it. The same thing works with images and audio as well. So let's see. I'm going to drag an audio track down to my timeline here. So with audio, you will be able to see the wave forms. Unless you're tracking is too small, then you won't be able to see your tray small. You can open it. There are two ways you can adjust the height of your tracks. One is good to the Traffic Manager here. I just track height. You can choose small or big. This is the normal size. This is the small one. There are many, many tracks then you may be good to change to the small. Even if it's small, you can change, you can change it and you can lift this up. So let's say you want to raise the top, you can change this so you can see the thumbnails better. Even to add additional audio or video tracks. You can click on them. Track manager as well as video tracks or audio tracks. Alright? There's a scroll bar here for you to scroll up and down as well. Alright? Now, when it comes to moving your clips around, you can just select this many drag-and-drop is quite simple. You can drag it up to that upper tract or you can just drag it to the position. So what I normally do is, let's say I want this clip to be going to this position. I would trim it here. Okay. Make sure it fits then you can actually resize it. Alright, so that's in terms of splitting, trimming n or deleting your clips, as well as pre trimming your clips. Hope you enjoyed this lesson. On to the next. 7. Creating And Adjusting Transitions: In this lesson, I will show you how to apply transitions and how to adjust them as well to add transitions, head on over to your transition tab. Click on it, and it opens up a large selection of transitions. So you can open up the tabs as well. Some of the recommended new and trending ones are here. So there are a lot of transitions and few more changes it from time to time. Furthermore, because there are so many transitions, if you find some that you like, it will be great if you were to favorite it. Let's say e.g. this, Buxton, you want to favorite it, select this and click on this bar. At the same time when you select that transition, you can see the preview and see how that transition work. Okay? So this is a cube. So when your favorite it, you can go back to your tap and go to favorites, and it will show up here. So let's apply a transition. I'm just going to use a design office. I'm going to select this and drop this between these two clips. And let's play this. Okay, so there's a dissolve or cross these off. And to adjust a transition, what you can do is to select this. We can adjust the duration as well as the transition mode, as well as include trim frames to adjust the duration. There are three ways you can adjust them. One is to hover over your mouse and then click on it and drag left or right. And you can see the time change. You'll notice a box or the clips changing in width as well. So you know that length is changes. Another way to adjust this is to use this up and down buttons here. Alright? And you can also hover over the transition itself. And you can trim it as if you are trimming a video clip. But you can actually see the length of time at the transition here. Okay, so for more precision work, I tend to use this section over here. Alright? So next is that whether it is prefixed on overlap. So the basic transition will be an overlap between two clips, the one in front and the one at the back. If you want to have prefix, you can select this prefix means that the transition will happen over the first clip. And by the time we hit us, I can click. The transition is done. If you select postfix, it will be opposite, which means that transition only stars over the second clip. Let's pick another transition. Let's place it here. Now. What does include that dream frames mean? Maybe this will show better. I'm just going to use this off now. But click this. Now when you have a transition that is very long, okay, Let's stretch it out. There may be some cases, you may want to have a very long transition that is up to you. Usually transition tend to be short between one and 1.5 s. In certain situations, you may have trimming your clip. E.g. I've trimmed this. And they might not be enough frames to do the transition because of transition is so long. So if you include trim frames, it changes this a little bit. So it depends on what you want to accomplish. Certain times. You may notice a difference and then times you may not. Okay. So there is a slight difference in this transition because of the length of transition underway to quickly adjust all your transition into the same time is to select a transition, then head on over to apply all. And then you can actually change all your transition to the same time. E.g. you may have created some transitions, say 2 s long, some are one-and-a-half seconds. At the end of your project, you decide you want all of them to be, say, one-and-a-half seconds long. You can actually just type it in over here and then applied to all, then all the transitions will now be one-and-a-half seconds long. It doesn't change the transition mode. By just change the timing. I'm going to delete all the transitions. Let me show you one final thing. If you select several clips at the same time. And to do that you use a create a window, right-click and then select this. And you hover over two any transition. Let's select this right-click and say apply. For moral, we'll apply the same transition to all these clips that you have selected. Okay? So it is a very quick way to apply transitions. And if you want to just use one single transition that has quick way to do it. Facing for transitions, if you're making a fast-paced video, it is okay to have many transitions and different types of transitions between a short period of time. If you're making a video, there is more for more, it will be great not to have too many different kinds of transitions within the same segment of the video or the same video. Hope this video helps you with creating your transitions. 8. Fade To Different Colors: In this video, I will show you how to create a fit, but this offense to a different color rather than feeding to the default black or gray scale. Let's hit on that transition tab. If you search for the transition, you notice that there is only two types of feed. There is one which is fit and then fit to grayscale. Fit works this way. If I basically between these two clips, drag there is transition from one scene and then goes to black and then comes up with the other clip. Now fit to gray-scale, look similar however, are fit to grayscale would turn this to a black and white. Right at the center of this image is black and white. Now you can change it to any other color. There is a walk around to fix this. First one you want to do is move all your clips and create some space. And then we will go over to your median and look for our sample color. I'm going to create the feed that is going to fit to white. Drag your white onto a different timeline. In this case, I want to ensure that my right-hand bar here is only approximately about 1 second. Because I do not want this transition to be too long. I'm going to drag this down onto the timeline below and then close up the eclipse. Right now, this is how the transition will look like. You will go to white and then go back to index clip. Next, go back to transition. And instead of fit, we will use a dissolve. And the reason why we went to use a dissolve is The dissolve and is quite similar in many sense. Next, I'm going to shorten this duration to 1 second. Let's see. Shorten this to 1 second. Okay? I'm gonna drag another dissolve transition to the back of this. Set it to 1 second as well. Alright, so click on Okay. Now that this is done, this is what the transition will look like. It goes to white egg, goes to the next scene. Now you can actually adjust the link of this color as long or as short as you want. I find that approximately a 1 second or slightly above 1 second, we'll walk around. The effect like this works particularly well at the beginning or at the end of that video. Because it is quite common at the end of the video for video to fit to the data. This is what is normally done at the scene fits out. However, there could be some scenes that you want to fade to white. So you can actually apply this method to create their feet to white. For example, you may see some scenes. If somebody's sort of starts dreaming, suddenly is a flashback. That's where you want to use this kind of effects. You do that, you will look similar to this. That's convicted. Shorten this transition, dissolve transition. So it looks something like this. You can use whatever color that you want. And so that's how you fit to a different color in Mora. 9. Adding Titles To Video: Video will show you how to add a title to your videos. Let's dive in. You can do it by going to your titles tab and select on it. There are four types. Here, are your own favorites, recommended, things that are new and trending would add in 3D. And then of course you have your flame stock vital. When you double-click on it, you can see that sample of data typo and you want to use it, you can just drag it down onto your timeline to apply it. This is quite an elaborate typo. Let's go with a simple one and I'll show you how things are being applied. I'm just going to undo that. Let's go with a simple title so we can learn how to apply some of the changes inside the title. I'm gonna go with this type of typo 26 because it shows different layers. Now with the title selected, we can just drag it onto your video timeline. I usually titled sit above a video track if you want your titles to show over your video clip. Now there could be instances when you want your title to just stand alone and there's nothing underneath, then the screen here will be a black background. You want to have a colored background. You can go to your stock Media, select any of these colors, and then drag this down and then title wherever the background color. Now I'm just going to undo that. And let's move this back over to this side. Something like this. And head back over to the title to adjust the length of your title. You can trim it like you would trim any media clip. Now is around 3 s long. So that is in terms of basic title and where you understand and begin, you can move it just as you would move any video or media clip. When you double-click on the paper and go to your basics, you'll see that there is two for this sample. The first one at the top, bottom sentence. And it works for this particular sample. This texts that moves like this, okay? Now you do not want this top typo. You can delete this. And let's change it here. Let's change the texts. Alright, so this Kanban highlands, now you can also change the texts within a text box as well. Okay, let's see. Nice please. Alright. And you have your alignment here. So right now it is aligned to the left. You can align it to the right into the center, right. These are some things that you can do. Okay? I just think the font is simple as well. You can just hit the font, any font that you like. And as you change it, you can see things this way. Alright? This one. Okay. Here's the font size. You can go all the way up to 150. Okay, now there's also another way to change the size of the font, which is as you scroll down, there is a skill that you can use. So let's change it back to 100. So there is 100%. Okay. Next is the color. You can change your color here. Let's go. We see something yellow. Let's go with more yellow. You can also change the font color by using the color picker tool. To use the color picker tool, just select the color picker and go to your screen to select something. Okay, so if you select this portion, it will change to this color. Next, they are presets. This precise changes the way your text looks. Somebody just shows the outline. Some have some shadows, et cetera. So you can select all these kinds of presets. You have all these kind of effects as applied to that font. Or you can go back to the basic ones. Okay, Now next is the line spacing you underline to be closer together. You can do something like this, as well as the line-height. Alright? And the last is the alignment that you want, whether you want it to be centered, the bottom, et cetera. This is useful if you're using, say, subtitles, you want it to be at the bottom. So subtitles will always be somewhere in the cycle dissection a, that you have your transform. And by rotation, you can do changes to your texts. And finally its opacity. Let's change this back to the white so you can see things probably. Now, if you want to have your text faded, you can adjust this here. So let's put your, let's put the opacity and zero. Okay? Let's move the cursor somewhere here. Set a keyframe, change the opacity to 100. So this is what it will look like. This one doesn't show so well because the text is coming in one by one. Let's go with let's make that disappear. Okay, so you can see this way. Alright, so the textile fades out. So the same idea works with feeding in as well. There's also a text animation itself. Let's select this. Double-click on this, your textbook. This. Okay. Let's change it back to no animation. If you click on the Advanced tab, there's other advanced editing. We will cover this in another video to keep this video short. But in the next video we will cover some of the more advanced things as well. 10. Using Titles With Animation: In this video, we will cover the more advanced settings in the titles in from Laura. We can start by selecting the title and hit Advanced tab menu is bringing up this window. You replay it, it looks something like this. This bar here shows when the texts tasks to have an effect. In this instance, it is typewriter effect and it's coming in bit by bit. And by the time it reaches this point, the effect is complete. If you continue to play here, then the typewriter effect will work in reverse, where the text starts to fade out from the front. You can adjust this, which means the speed of which the typewriter effect takes effect. So the bar, the darker color here shows when the effect will complete. So if you pull this further in, then this effect was ticking slower. If the bar is shot in the end, then they favor move much faster. You can also adjust this as well. So this completes this much faster. And you won't see this the effects that much because there's only one line or one sentence of titles. Let's just click on apply. But you will want different if you have a fiber like this, this title is the title opener. Okay, you can look for it here. Opener, and this is opening number ten. This one comes in this way. So there's some animation with some background. So let's select this head on over to advance and you pinch. And I can show you, I'm going to open this window bigger. So similar to regular titles, you have your phones, you have your font size, etc. You can add extra textbox. And I'm always well, but let's look at these bars here. As you can see, there's a tool preset video. Then you have your titles over here coming in and different time. Okay, Let's play this ones. And it looks like this. So if I were to move this away, so you notice that this first one is the background. Okay, Let's move this away. Now there's no white background and then once it hits this point, the background comes into picture. Okay. You can delete this by selecting the background and clicking on the delete and this will be deleted. I'm just going to undo that. So this is your white and you can change the sequence of when the text comes in. The blue paint brush comes in. You can adjust the timing and you can adjust the timing of your titles as well. Okay, So your headline, so let's say you want your to come in first and then headline coming later. This one come in last. So this is the effect that you will see. Alright? And of course you can change it. So let's say I'm going to change it to something like this. Alright, so it looks like this line, the title. We can align this, this way by moving the typo. Align it this way. Okay. So the title will come in this way. You can also adjust the feet. Coming slower. You can do that as well. The CMB, the back as well. Here, the boss or end at the same point. Now, notice that the cursor changes from the normal cursor, the cursor to trim it closer to adjust the feet. So let's adjust this. This is adjusting the trim. When I move slightly to the left from the trim, it changes to fail. So you can change the feet. Now the title, we'll move the arm this way. Can you can adjust this? So this is one way fader. So these are some ways for you to adjust the title in greater detail. Let's say you want everything to fit out by then. This has meant that python looks more amazing. How once you okay, you can just click on applied to select that effect. And this will be The title. Now, let's go back to select this again, go to Advanced. Now there are other effects that you can apply to the typo. So let's select the second one here, Cameron, again, let's scroll down. So here is the field. So the field is the default for this instance. So it can be colorful, it can be gradient field. You can change that. Let's go back to color, colorful. And of course the opacity as well. If you want to have more transparency, you can adjust it. As well as things like blow and shadow. I like the shadow here. It looks good. And you can have faint shadow to make it more realistic. That's where some slight blue as well. Okay. So you can also change the type, as well as the distance of the shadow. Looks pretty cool, right? So this is in terms of customizing, and you can actually customize each different words. Same animation as well. So for right now, the animation is the title fading in. If you change this here, that's changed, highlands, if you change, apply that effect animation, then an emission will vote differently. If you want to use this title of the video, but you can do is to select this. Let's delete this. Let's apply. Okay? And let's move this title over to this section here. Okay, So you have something like this. So in this instance, the text color could be better if it is white in color. Let's change this to white. Alright, so you have an effect like this. Unfortunately, you can change the color of this brush strokes so that remains the blue in color. Doesn't mean using the more advanced our title in femora. The oldest works similar to this. That's all about adding titles to your videos. 11. Add Effects To Your Video: In this video, I will show you how to add effects to feel Mora. To do so, go to the tab on the top. And there are different kinds of effects you can use. There are really too much to go through. I'm gonna give you some guidelines when you apply them so that even though the effects may be different than certain settings that you can adjust. Alright, so let's start. I'm going to select some data I favorited. So this in here, it looks great if you want to add the lens flare. So let's add the lens flare effect. Since I favorited it, you can see the star there. So the first way to apply an effect is to grab the effect onto that video clip. So you can see that now the lens flare is inaction here. Somewhere around the middle of the clip. You notice that a lens flare stopped. When the clip has an effect. You will see this icon over here, right over the clip to tell you that there's an effect applied to this clip. Let's double-click on the clip. And you can see these effects tab. Let's go to this. And for this effect, lens flare, you can adjust the strength of it by adjusting the opacity. Okay. So somewhere here, originally it was very strong. Maybe a little bit too strong. You can it down to make that lens flare little bit more believable. Okay? Now, if you want to check and see that effect, you can turn this off and see how this effect is with the original clip. And you can turn it on to compare. So you can also use this to turn off that effect. Or if you really do not want that effect on that clip and you change your mind, you can just take on the trash can icon to remove that effect. So that will be removed as well. Let's hit on okay. Secondary to apply effects is to grab the effect and place it on the track above. You can do so as well. And there are several advantages of doing it this way. E.g. you can control the length of that effect. Now, when we play this, you notice that in fact, continuous and repeats. So suddenly effects may be stretched out as well. So it depends on that effect. Data advantage is if you choose to change your mind after you have completed editing, you can hide the tray in. Your effects will not be applied to the video when you export it. So let's turn this back on. Let's click on the lens flare. Again. You have the same opacity here on debt effect. Okay? So that's in terms of the lens flare. Let's click on Okay. Now, they're suddenly effects that you may need to apply on a particular clip. Let's say this chaos effect. I'm going to select this and place it over on this track and stretch it off. Let me turn off the effects of us. Here. The clip is pretty smoothly. When you turn on the kiosk effect introduces a large amount or shape onto your video. Great, if you want to say create an earthquake effect, let's double-click on this here. You got to adjust the frequency, the position x and y, and as well as Z, as well as the RGB separate. Now, before I go into adjusting the frequency, I want to show you this RGB separate. Rgb separate turned on. You'll notice that the title is shakes quite hot until there's this RGB separated into different colors. If you turn it off, it doesn't. So depends on what effect you are going after. An earthquake shouldn't shake so much until RGB is separated. Alright? So even the cranial effect, maybe it's better to turn this off. Now. Let's create a sort of an earthquake effect. Now the first thing you wanna do is to, let's, let's put some keyframes. Or I saw somewhere here, I'm going to keyframe this first because I think that this is shaking really hard at this position. I'm going to do another position and put keyframes here as well. I'm going to go back to the beginning of the clip at some more keyframes. And I'm going to turn down the frequency. And what happens is that just means that the beginning of that clip, there won't be any shake. And as the playhead moves and as the clip plays, the chicken will get stronger. An earthquake. And towards the end, I'm going to keyframe it again and turn down this down the frequency, the position as well. So it's really sort of colloquia, little bit more realistic. And you can see the keyframes change as the playhead place, okay? So another thing is that you're going to make changes to your keyframes. You can use these arrows left and right for it to jump to the keyframe where that keyframe has been set initially. Now, my tip is that you're going to effect that you're not familiar with. Just tried to set the effects to the minimum or the maximum to see on screen what happens, that will give you a good way to see how that defect is affecting your video. Or they could be effects that you want to apply a worse and will clips that I say this cluster effect. So this is my original clip here. Okay? Those things. If I were to use the classic effect, this could be an option. This is an example of using effects stretching over multiple clips. Here as well, as well. To another clip. I'm gonna double-click it and reduce the opacity. So this is how it looks like. So here again, you can keyframe this for the opacity to be stronger or weaker. Those are some effects that you can try it with femora. And there are also other types of effects as well, which has things like orally laptop. So it looks something like this. For this effect, you may want to select the clip and then scale this down so they kinda fits into your laptop. So that's all about adding effects to your videos. 12. Enhance Your Video With Stickers: In this video, I will show you how to add elements are stickers to your videos. Now in privations of femora, this is placed under a tap core elements, but in femoris trout, they've changed it to a stickers. Click on a stick, a stack. And there are a lot. If you're not sure, you can try some of the things that are new and trending. Okay, now I favorited a few, and one of them is called YouTube trendy. So I'm just going to grab this and paste it onto the track above. One thing about stickers is that they have to be on a different track to take effect. So let's double-click on this sticker. And there are things that you can adjust. In a sense, the stickers are quite similar to video clips and the controls are basically they're the same as well. So you can resize them here on the scale. You can also resize them. And this way, you can adjust the position x and y. You can also adjust the rotation as well, okay? Just like that, you can flip them horizontally, vertically. Now you can also unlock this. So they changed the x and y scale if you want to stretch it. Okay, so there are some ways you can change this as well. And then you can also lock these, but after it is become a rectangular kind of things, right? So next is in terms of compositing. Now that this is the normal blending mode, which means that the stickers are the icon here is above that video clip. However, if you change it to darken, you can change how this sticker interact with the clip. Again to get the effects that you are after. Here, it becomes some somewhat transparent compared to say, the normal mode. You can try and experiment, see which one works best for your particular situation and your particular video. I'm just going to turn it back to normal. Now. Next is the drop shadow. It is turned off by default. Turn it on. Okay, so let me turn it off. So you have this drop shadow and it looks quite nice. You can change whether it's a soft or pilot project. It will just stay with default. You can change the angle of this sticker based on this stick icon. It looks like the light is coming in from there, right? So your shadow should be on this side. Something like this. And you can also change the color of the shadow as well. And as well as the distance. This gives the perception that shut this sticker is further away. Alright? And of course you can change the blur opacity as well. Alright, so that's in terms of a sticker like this. I'm just clicking on, alright, Now there are certain stickers as well. They create a different kind of effect. I'm going to go with say this cinematic, these off. It may work well at the beginning of a video. Just imagine that this is the beginning of our video, okay? And you select this, change, the blend mode and opacity. It can have a very interesting effect. So that's all about adding stickers to your videos. 13. Share Your Project And Review: I hope you have enjoyed the class so far. I certainly enjoyed creating it for you. I look forward to seeing your projects, meet with this software as well as encourages me as the instructor here on Skillshare. I have a small request to make, which is for you to leave a review for this class. It does two things. Number one, it helps other students decide whether this class is suitable for them. And number two, excuse you have requirements in order for the class to remain on their platform, which has said a number of watch hours per month, as well as people are interacting with their instructors in terms of reviews as well as questions, this ensures that the class remains on their platform and you can review it anytime that you like me. That's it. Happy grading and happy video editing. 14. How To Mute And Detach Audio From Video: In this video, I'll show you how to new audio from your video. There are two ways to do it. Does take a listen to this. So to meet an individual clip, right-click on that clip and select Mute. And you see that the waveform has turned dark, and you can see this clip has been muted. So let me unmute it. Now. If you want to mill several clips at the same time, but you can do is to click somewhere on the timeline. Then we are left mouse click. We can select the clips that you want to mute. Right-click and then mute. So you will have noted these three clips. So let me undo that. Another way to mill your audio is to mute it from the threat level so you will move the entire track. This way it will be easier if you want to move the entire tray and you have a different audio source, e.g. a. Narration that comes from say, an audio recorder. That's the cash and audio. So this one I clicked with me listening to a story. So what I'm gonna do is to right-click and detach audio. And when you detach, it comes into a separate audio track. So audio is out of sync slightly. You can adjust this. One thing to remember is that you want to move, you all are just slightly, you have to turn off timeline snapping. If you have your timeline snapping turned on, it will snap right to the beginning or the end of that clip. So that's all when it comes to muting and detaching your audio. 15. Audio - Fades, Normalizing, Keyframe: In this video, I will show you how to adjust the volume in a few Mora and the books for your video clips as well as your audio clips. There are several ways to do this, and the first way is adjusting the line here. So the default volume for oil recordings is at zero decibel. If you select the clip and raise it up, you're going to increase the volume. And if you drag this down, you're going to reduce the volume, okay, to minus a, then decibel. Now this one isn't very accurate unless you have a very accurate mouse. A second way to adjust is to double-click on your clip. Go head on over to your audio tab, usually opens a video. So head on over to Audio and it will give you the name of your track and a bunch of adjustments down at the bottom here. Let me read this site, this first. Okay, So now you see the waveform of the audio track as well. And you can use this to zoom into your audio waveforms. Now let's take a listen to this sport or short break. Cameron Harlan's is famous for the volume is a little bit soft. So the first thing is you can, you can use auto normalization, which means moreover normalized that clip. And if I turn it on, you'll see that a waveform will increase, which means it will erase the volume of this particular clip. Okay, So they have raised a volume. And if you listen to a short break, Cameron Harlan's is famous for this. Louder. Let's turn Auto normalization. Offer the meantime, you can adjust volume here. That gives you greater control. Let's say you want to lower your volume, you can lower it hovering to this box and clicking it and then you drag to the left or to the right. Now you want to move faster, is let the bubble and you can change and move this faster than you have already disposition it gives you finer control. Okay? So let's undo that. So that is in terms of adjusting the volume. They are key-frames here which we will cover shortly. And next, is there some balance? If you're recording has a sterile tray, both left and right channels. And the channels are an equal, then you can adjust them over here. Next is fake. Let's use the music to show this better because the waveforms will be easier to see. I'm going to drag this audio clip down to my track here. Now the music is a bit long, so I'm just going to drag this down to somewhere around this. Let me take a listen to this. Okay, so he's still pretty low, which will be good for our demonstration. Now, let's double-click on the audio track. We're going to do the fate versus k. Now I have lowered the volume just by dragging this down to -7.4 db. Alright, so to do a fit is like this. And you do a fairly normally fits around two 3 s, but it's up to you. And when you do a fit, you will notice two things. First is there is a triangle over here now. As well as this triangle works the same for the Phaedo as well. Let's go to the end of this audio track. Like this. Let's scroll down. You see this triangle as well as this triangle at the top. You can adjust those feet. You can also adjust the fade by hovering over to this bubble at the end of the triangle to drag this to the left or to the right. Alright, so there's a few ways to adjust the fade in and fade out. Let's come back to the front of this. Next here is your pitch. You're going to change the pitch. You can change the pitch. I'm going to reset the fading fast. Okay? That's adjust the volume by using these keyframes. Here, since there is a narration track, it makes sense to have this section of the music, Let's say from here to here. Okay, let's, let's assume that our trip, my clip this way. Okay. It makes sense to have the audio here louder. Since there is no narration, too slow, then it goes back up. So let's say this is the Tregs this way. So these are just scenery. We just music, music. And then somewhere here. Okay, so to adjust the volume, you can use keyframes. Let's zoom in further. Let's say the start or the narration. The volume is lower. And we're going to adjust the music tray at the keyframe here. I'm going to move back further, another keyframe. And let's move back to the original keyframe. Let's say from this section to this section, I want the volume to be lower. I want to add another keyframe. And then I'm Edison add a keyframe. Now by adding four keyframes, the allows me to adjust the volume this way. I'm going to drag the center. I'm going to lower this section now, this second volume from this point to this point will be lower equally. Okay? Let's take a listen. Okay? It is still allow, actually, it should be even softer than that. And of course, the volume of this should be a bit louder. Short break. Cameron Harlan's famous ones, cool weather, tea plantations. Along the way up there. It's tough for t. Okay, this sounds much better. Alright, So this is how you use a key-frames for your music. So you can also add a keyframe to different sections as well. Just select the track, add another keyframe. And you have to be careful. Now if you just add one keyframe here and another here. And if you drag this down, you end up with a slope. So this section will be low. This section will be a slow. And do that. Now to move from keyframes, two keyframes, you use these arrows here. So one key frame, go to the next one, next one, next one. Now if I want to delete this keyframe over here, and it turns green, click on this, and this keyframe is removed. So when you have, when I have three keyframes here, the sandwiches raised from one level to another. So it starts to increase. It becomes fit in this in terms of key framing. Now if you want to reset everything, just select this and hit the reset button and everything will be reset. So that's the basic of adjusting your audio volumes in film era. 16. Adjust Audio with Audio Ducking: In this video, I will show you how to use the audio ducking feature in a few more. And if you select the clip, you see audio ducking over here under the Audio tab. In a prior video, there are adjusted the volume for this section of the video by lowering down the volume, this audio track. Now I'm going to reset this breakfast. So everything goes back to norm and also reduce this because it's still too low. 07.4. Let's take a listen. Okay, So now the, the music is actually too low versus the narration track. But to use audio docking, what you need to do is to select the narration track itself and turn on audio ducking. Next, you need to raise this level up. Now, although I am adjusting the audio ducking levels for this track, the audio that is affected is on this. Let's play this. Highlands for our short break. Cameron Harlan's is famous for his cool way up near. Alright. So when you want to use audio ducking controller using the narration track. So that is audio ducking, which means automatically controls that tray. You can do it for other clips as well. E.g. at this clip here has some narration as well. So I can also use audio ducking as well. And you can adjust the amount that you want because perhaps the volume here is softer compared to this, this trait, or it could be just the background noise. Alright, so this is something to consider. Now when it comes to say background sound, okay, I'm just going to move this over to this side. And you'll notice that when I do this and the audio ducking will take effect on the other section. So this is the advantage of using audio ducking. This tracks here have some background sound and audio ducking is also taking effect. Okay, So you select this, you can turn it off, right? So that's all about audio ducking in Mora. 17. Speed Up, Slow Down And Create Freeze Frame: In this video, I will show you how to change the speed of a clip in your moron. To change a clip, make sure you select the clip. And you can go to the clock or the timer icon here. Click on that and you can change the speed whether you want to have it slow. And then if let's say you want to slow it by half, just click on this one and then the kid will be sloped. You can see that there is a label here that shows you that this clip has slowed down and is presently at 0.5 x. Now if you go back to this timer, I call it, you can change it to false as well or go back to normal. I'm just going to click on Normal. In this clip, we'll go back to normal speed and labor has gone. There's a second way to change the speed, which is to double-click on the clip and hit on the word to their speed tab here. And you can change the speed here as well. This menu give you extra option whether you wanted to have ripple edit. Ripple edit is the one that will make sure that eclipse, that they will close up or open up the space. Let's say I wanted to change it to half again. Notice that the eclipse all will be pushed back. The oldest clips are pushed ready. Let's double-click on this. Now if I click on rework, that keeps that the bank will again close up their space. Now if I turn report edit off, and let's say we will change this B22 x this time, it will leave a gap. Alright, see you get over here. I'm going to undo that. Now we report edit and on. If I change it to a double speed, it will close up that gap. Report. Thus, I'm just going to change this back to a normal. Next is maintained on your pitch. For this, I will use this clip here. I'm gonna select the clip unless I change it to be. And let's ladies. Now this option maintained on your pitches turned on at the moment. Conditions and stuff for the Indians. Amazing. And you can hear me speak very fast, but you can still make it all. Now if I turn this off, blade is not meeting. Before we can hear that I'm actually speaking like a chipmunk. Depending on whether you want your voice to sound like achievement or not, then you can turn this option on or off. One other thing with speed, which is freeze-frame. If you select this, go back to the timer here, you can actually create a freeze-frame effect. Let's click on that. And here the labor shows that a freeze-frame has been created. This works well with something like this. You can double-click on this label to change the duration of this freeze-frame, whether you want it to be shorter or longer. Of course, the option to report edit as well. In another video, we will talk about speed ramping. That's all about changing speed in MRI. 18. Pan And Zoom To Create Movement: In this lesson, we will cover pan and zoom. Pan and zoom or great way to add movement to your video, especially if you're using say, a still image in your video. Perhaps you have a very interesting photo that you want to use. And by putting in either a pen or a pen and zoom, it makes the photo so much more interesting, rather than just a static image. You can do the same for video as well. Perhaps you have shot the video and there is no movement of your camera by having a slow pen, you can make that video a lot more interesting. I'm going to use this image to show you how to apply this. Double-click on your clip. At the beginning, your skill will be at zero. So let's do a Zoom first. To do a Zoom, the first thing that you want to do is to put keyframes. So because this is locked when you turn on the keyframes for this are both turned on. You can also turn it off that way. So let's turn it on again. Let's zoom into this word over here. And we will move the play head further down, somewhere around here. And then we will add another keyframe. And next, zoom up the skill and you'll see something like this. Let's play this. So that is a zoom. If you want to slow down the Zoom, well, you can do is to select this keyframe here and drag it further to the right. And your Zoom will happen much slower. If you want it to be faster, move the points closer together and Zoom will happen quicker. I'm going to drag this further out because we haven't changed the x and the y position. This is just a zoom in. Next, let's add pen. I'm going to jump to this position. We're going to add a pen now because I want this work to end up somewhere in the center. So put a keyframe and move the x position somewhere here. And it will also be better if it's further up. Now because we have just set the key frame for the x and y position at this point, but we didn't set it here. There is no arrow there, but you can use the arrow and this x and y position. To go to that position. We'll hop back over to this position. You know that the keyframe for the x and y position hasn't been set because the set is now selecting it. So you notice there, because we are zooming this way. They are these black bars on the left. Okay, so to change that, the keyframe now, you can adjust this bay or you can just reset the keyframe. Let's play this. So that's all about adding pen and zooms to your video. 19. Split Screen With Freeze Frame Effect: In this lesson, we will cover how to use split-screen in your videos. Split-screen or great way to show several videos at the same time. And it can quickly pay the Biggio for your audience. You split-screen, go to your templates, go to the split screen section. And there are several types of split screen that you can use. Someday. I, for some vertical. I'm just going to choose a simple one which is split-screen number seven. Select this and drag it onto your timeline. You can lengthen or shorten the split-screen like any other video clip or media clip. Next three that okay, Here's a better word to your media. And you can drag and drop whatever clip you want to these blocks. Let's do this. I'm just going to select this and drag it over to the block. Next, I'm going to drag this over to this block. I'm going to drag this over to this side. Let's take a look at this. Okay, so this is the end of the split screen and the video close up and you can go to your next scene. Let's double-click on the split-screen to open up. There are few things you can adjust on a split screen. Select the split screen and go to the block. You can, you can position your video clips to show whatever you want to show. You can also do is zoom in and zoom out. You can move clips around within that block. On top of debt. You can also mute the audio, e.g. this video have some background style, so has this one. So it could be too overwhelming. So you can mute the audio from different clips and then either replace it with an audio track at the bottom here. Or maybe you can just get the audio from one of your screen videos like this. It will bring it to the advanced menu. Let's click on this. You'll see something like this. Let's cancel this. You can do the same by selecting the split-screen and then hit the button, you will see something like this. This allows you to zoom in and out. Let's zoom out so that we can see more of the timeline. Now, let's play this and you take note of this changes where the playhead moves. Now, this is where your split-screen ends, is approximately 6 s long. Our split-screen template will end somewhere here. Yet the video is longer. This video here is longer than the time. Let's just play this. Okay. You'll notice that the applicant was tops. I've met here at the same time. You notice that we now play head is here. This video will have a freeze-frame effect. Is freezes and it doesn't move. And then once it goes towards the end, you have the video or attending back to black. You can adjust the length of your clips this way. In order to have the freeze-frame effect, you have to turn this on. If you turn this off, once we move past the video, this action will go dark. Same as this as well. Okay? So you can select this if you want to have a freeze-frame effect. You can click on Apply. Now, you've had to change any of the clips. You can either select this and delete this and replace it with another clip. Let's even replace it with this one. So that's all there is to create a split screen videos. 20. Split Screen Effect Method 2: this video will show you how to do a split screen, a video like what you're seeing right now for more on nine. Now, what you need to do is obviously two clips, okay? And you also need to have to have video tracks. Okay, so what I'm gonna do now is with this clip, I'm gonna put this clip on to track number one. Okay, so this is actually a scene off. Let me just make this, okay? This is just seen off me blah kings on the tea leaves or rather showing some tea leafs. Okay, I'm just gonna treatment of it. And here is a second guy clip, and I'm going to put us on track number two groups. Okay, so this is a track one. Track number two. Now, where you position your trade isn't really matter that much. As long as you know. Where is your Which tries restrike. Okay, What you want to figure out is where you want to position your video idea on the left on the right. Okay, so it doesn't matter. You can actually really justice later. Now let me just hide the top click and show you So the bottom clip is showing all these A T three plants and here is mean in front of the key farm. All right, so what I'm gonna do, issue click on this preview here and then right at the top end at the bottom, you can actually see these place where you can actually resize your window. OK? Now, you finally to be difficulty. What you can do is you can click on this preview and change the zoom level. That's changing to say 2075 then you can see this buttons clearly. Okay? And then you can just drag and resize this. This is actually really sizing it, uh, proportionately. OK, so as long as you resize it after more on nine racketeer a portion it okay. And then we're gonna move it to the position that you want this video to show. Okay, So next, but I'm going to do is to select the bottom clip right and then do the same thing. But this time I'm going to resize it to the left or right. So now we have set my sights split screen. Okay. Now, of course you want to read a justice size. You want to adjust it equally. I want one of the things that you can do is off course to double click this and go to the transform tab here, and you can set it are approximately around 50 or 52% to 50% list of 50%. Okay, so let's move these obey back. And that's movies. Very live it. So it's approximately half. And if you really want to make sure it is half in the middle, you can actually hide any of the track. And look at this lying over here where that it is exactly half guess or fifties at exactly half. And when you play this, you can have this a stumble. Split screen effect get Let's go and change the zoom level back to fit. All right, so this is what you will see. Okay, Now we dismissed that are far split screen. Then year, they will be black box at the top and at the bottom. Okay, so this is actually the first method off doing a split screen. Now, if you want to have a different type off a split screen where you feel that without any black bass what you want to do next is actually to do this. Now, let's go back to this video. We're here. I go back to this video and then instead off scaling it to 50%. We're gonna reverted back to hundreds, all right? And then what we will do now is actually to crop this a little bit now in order to and we're gonna crop this video as well. Okay, so let's let's change the size back. 200% change you back. 200. The case of this clip on top originally supposed to be like this. OK, so are you going to do in this method is actually to crop off this this scene here, OK, we just wonder persons hit will be next to do now is a key to select the clip and right click. And then you actually open this option here, which is to crop and zoom. Okay, so when you click crop and zoom, you have this window over here, and then what? You can do it. I can't crop that video in. Okay, now, just now, when we re size the video is notice that he actually resize, Is it proportionately that with crop. You're not going to resize it proportionately. It would basically crop this video. Okay? And you can actually set the ratio here, say 7 20 to be exactly squid. Okay, so now this video here now is crop this way. Okay. And next, What we're going to do now is likely to do the same for the track below. Go to crop and zoom. So now you decided we should like you and the crop. Maybe we can crop this by just gonna change it to custom, Okay. And then you can crop it, but you can actually crop it anyway. Basically, what you want is to have a one in one gray show in case Will that become a square video click on. OK, so this is some look, something like this. And then you had to adjust this and see where you want your video to fitting. Okay, so now you have a site. My site video, right now playing. And this is actually a different type split screen. Okay, so I hope that you will be able to do a split screen with few more annoying with this methods. 21. Create Video Behind Text Effect: in this video, I will show you how to create these A very cool effect where your video actually appears behind the text and sorts off. Peeps. True, not to do this actually requires two steps. So the first thing is that you need to create your titles first. So I'm just going to create my typo here, and I show you how to do that. And I'm going to use the subtitles, OK? Because we're not going to use any effect. What you want to do now is to make a text. They're okay. So let me just double click here and just put my name there. All right? So next I'm going to increase the size of this. Okay, Mickey, as large as possible. I'm gonna use 150 and then I am going to use Let me look at the phones here, okay? And when they use this fourth year, all right? And I'm going to place these right in the middle here. Okay? So it is actually the first pot, and I'm gonna make it larger Westerveld. So this skill the That may be okay. I'm going to scale it up to somewhere around here. Okay? now it is done. But you want to do is just to export this first, okay? And you want to export its And what you want to make sure is that your tax have to be white and the background must be black. And after you have exported this fall, you want to bring it back into film aura. Okay, so I've actually done that. This is the the clip that I have actually exported the earlier. Okay, so I'm just going to delete this up tighter, but you get the idea. Basically, you want to create a Texas and then exported one round and then bring it back into for Maura. OK, so I'm going to the ladies, and this is actually the clip that I have. And I am going to place this Click on that If you don't train number two Mrs Zumba in a bit . Okay. And this is my original clip here. Okay, so now what you see is something like this. Okay, Now, let me just pre rendered this. All right? So the next thing that you want to do is to double click on the top click here, and what you want is to look for the I want the video here, and you want to turn the compositing and k from the normal blending mood when you want to do is either to use the docket or the multiply. OK, so I'm going to use the doctor in straight away. You can see that you can actually see true that text. What I would do now is to make this larger by going to Skillet. Okay, We're gonna skill from a larger Okay, let's watch. It's possible somewhere like this. Okay, so you have this already here. Cool effect. And that's all about creating this. You were here. If you want to take it up another notch, you can actually add another effect, which is to make it create motion. Okay, By double clicking on this clip, you will go to this motion. You can look for the zoom and going to look for his own limit to that. Would cricket apply? Okay, Right. So that's a pretty render this. So this is the fact that you will see exactly pretty cool. So that's awful. Using these effect, they have the video behind the text 22. Greenscreen or Chromakey Effects: this video, I'll show you how to create a chroma tea or green screen effect with Fillmore running. Okay. Now, the first off creating or using chroma key or green screen is that you need something either like this where there is a background behind or something like this, where there's a clip, this green scream. Okay, Now you doesn't necessarily have to be a green screen, but this couldn't have to be in such a way that the colors difference from the object in France that you want to remove from cave. Like, for example, this clipper we here with me standing behind a blue screen. Okay, for example, for a person, colors like see black or white doesn't really work. Because then, for example, if your hair is black on your eyes are black, and then you will create a very real effect. OK, so this is the first our requirement. Okay. So you can actually get some of the samples this green screen on line. I got this off from picks obey. So you can also download. It s a practice material. I'm gonna put this onto it at the upper trick. Now we green screen What you want is for your screen off for your video clip. Be their dream to be on the upper trick, All right. And your background Try, but be something behind it. All right. Okay. So first, what I want to do is write us select the clip, and I go to the chroma key and click on this now, because this chroma key or the green screen is done perfectly for the sample video. There's nothing much in Israel adjustment. A kid. They might still be something okay as people. Something behind it. All right, So what I'm gonna do now, he's just gonna plea, okay? And I'm gonna put this a still image, be contract someone. Okay, so this is just a still image off feels on movies. What? Oh, drain issue. All right, so that's put us behind on, be behind this green screen, and now you see what I mean? You can actually see that the green screen on the object is in front and the false over there all right, It's pretty cool effect. And of course, you can also do something adjustments like most of Bach's around. The one thing to note is that somewhere around here. You kind of see that it is transparent. You can see what is behind these boxes. Okay, let me just hide this clip here, okay? I'm Heidi's again, and you can see these over here, so you can You may need to do some just been and the less double click this and go back to chroma key. And there are key for adjustments that you can do monetary offset. The other one is that tolerance. And, of course, it h take this and each feathering. All right, so in this case, I'm going to reduce it a little bit, And so the boxes are no longer transparent, okay? And he looks a whole lot better. So depending on your clip that you have, you may need to adjust some of this, for example, the ish sickness on each feather. Now, you can also use the outfit gender to adjust this to see whether their sharp edges can you can turn it on and off to compare it. But there's also another way that you can do this. So what I'm gonna do now, it's gonna move this clip away from for the time being, and we're just going to clear. Okay? And we go to, you know, use a simple colors. And what I normally like to do is to use the white color behind. Okay? And unless more this over here. Yeah. Okay, so we're having a white color, allows you to go see the HS as well as you adjust your chroma key. For example, this this or Jackie or this clip is a pretty good, Although there is some color spill over here. All right, so let's go back here and see. You may want to adjust this a little bit. Okay? So if you Morris ninth automatic green screen or chroma key is actually pretty all right, so unless there is a need, and sometimes you won't even notice such things, Okay, So it is. All right, then. Just leave things alone. Otherwise, you can actually make makes things worse. All right, so you need to just check and see how things are. And if you need to make the adjustment, then go ahead and make it. Now, the next thing that you can do is actually to I just this Rexall, for example. Now this is this entire boxes on gifts. I G. So watch, right, So you can make you re size it normally that you can resize it. And then I actually looked more more realistic. Okay, Eso this is one week and you can actually replace the bottom cliff with any other medias where it could be another video clip. So let's go back to our media here. Nike, I say I would put this behind Kim. Let's move this away, and I'm going to, uh, but this clipper, this clip is just a clip off some birds flying around and small like background. And I'm just doing the yesterday more. OK, so, practically putting the boxes in front of this scene is a really make sense. But I just want to Sure that's how is done. Right? And you can actually move things around here unless movies Okay, maybe somebody here and even place it on top of beauty. All right, so something like that you noticed that there is a faint square were here. All right, so you need to adjust this a green screen. Maybe earlier on you can sort of see the transparent, less changing to minus one and see where there is less apparent okay? Or maybe just moving entirely. Okay. So you can see some things that you need to adjust for these green screen. So let's go. Big toe minus two. Okay, so, basically, that's how you do green screen effect for more running? No, for some other cliffs. Like, for example, this one. Let me show you a different one. Let's Let's do this over here. Police here are portrayed. I mean, yes, sir, Shot in this. Okay, now the same thing works for blue screen Israel. So it doesn't have to be a green screen. So you may want to record yourself be high war or something. There is a specific color so that you can actually remove that color. So I'm just gonna do this over here. Use this. Okay, So less DoubleClick. Let's go to green screen. In this case, what you need to do is to use the color picker. So, like, the color picker, and then move for discreet, the color that you want to remove. Let me show you something a strange And let's say we remove the rate instead of the blue. So now you have a very real you face this Really? Okay, uh, well, if you want, you are after something like this is something that you can do is real. But let's do that no more one which is to remove their on the blue behind. Okay, so now you see that. And then, um So you noticed there for my blue screen? Here are the effects and the tolerance on this a little bit different. You may need to adjust its a little bit. Okay, So basically, that's how you create or used to chroma key or green screen effect, for it could be any other scream That's have to be green in for more on nine. 23. Greenscreen Without A Physical Greenscreen: In this video, I will show you how to create a green screen have video using a new feature in a few Mora 10.5, what it does is it allows you to transform regular videos. Let's say for example, you have a person in France and it removes the background so that you can actually replaced a break RWE, something else that you prefer. Okay, now so I have a clip here on my timeline. It is just a sample clip. And as you can see, it is just me in front and the background. But to use the filter is pretty simple. First go to effects and then go to AI portrayed, and then drag this effect onto that clip. Not the correct way is to drag it onto the clip and not place it above. Otherwise this wouldn't work. Now this is also an additional subscription of form and the shift from Mora, however, you cannot try it and the price isn't very high, so we're just going to try for us. Okay, and click on that. Try and then you have this background. Now click on your video. Make sure your video effects is turn on, OK, and you can see that the background has turned to dark. The next thing that you need to do is actually to go back into your media and you had to replace your background with something. Okay, I'm just going to use this still image of a balcony and I'm just going to place it on the track below. Let me stretch this up. All right. And you can see that the background has been removed. It's very important to place your foreground clip or the top track, in my case is two and the background in a tray one. I'm just going to play the video to let you see how it looks like. Okay? And you notice that it's actually pretty good even though the ACO bag ground is moving and I'm actually swinging the camera right now, there's something that you can actually adjust under this effect. You can see that there is actually a white line over my shoulder here. Okay, So why do you want to do is to glass adjust that a video effects. And to do that you can actually adjust the thickness, okay, by reducing it a bit so that it actually looks a lot better. Okay? You can also feather the issues. You think that in some circumstances a feathering walk. However, if we use this feathering effect too much, then he says to grow. Alright, now whereas for the edge techniques, if you increase it, then you have created a halo effect. If you reduce it too much and you get to shrink it too much. All right, so you can actually just adjust this a bit to suit your circumstances. Now you can also place the video clip or another video clip. So let me show you here for this assignment. Again, this is me just in front and this time I'm in front of a wall. So I'm going to do the same thing as well. Drag the human segmentation effect given try. And then going back to my media. But this time I'm going to pull another clip behind. Okay, and now let's go and turn on the video effects are human segmentation. And so you can see that. Now you can also resize your video to fill how you want to place the screen as well. So all the regular functions works as well. So that's how you create green screen a video without using a physical green-screen in when the chef your moron. So I want you to take note of is that this feature only works in tomorrow at 10.5 and above. You do need to upgrade your software in order to take advantage of this feature. 24. Clone Yourself or An Object: In this video, I will show you how to create a video for you. Clone yourself, like what you're seeing on the screen right now. So let's dive straight in. Now the first thing that you went to do to create a video like this is to ensure that you have two videos shot in case. The first video is this video where I settle on one side of the screen. This is the first video that I recorded. And then this is the second click that I have when I sat on the left-hand side. Once you have your clip, while you need to do now, is to drag this clip onto the track. Then I'm going to drag the second clip onto the track. Alright? So if you see the tray, this is what it looks like. Let me turn off the track on top. This is the threat at the bottom that you are seeing. And once I turned it on, the truck will be showing the messaging on the left. And you need to have a way to a mass this. And I'm gonna show you how to do that. Select the clip that you want, and hit on the word to the mask function. And you can actually select any of these mass. For this case, you can use the single line or I can use the double line, but I'm going to use a single line because it's quite straightforward. I've actually must stop the video on the left. It next you need to do is to invert the mask. Now you can see 2%. So basically with the top Click Me sitting on the left. And when you apply the mass, yes, actually mask off the right side of the video on top. And that's why you can see the video at the bottom. Now there's some adjustments that you need to make. Like, for instance, you can see that this line is very distinct. This happens because the light changed when I shot the first clip, visit the second clip. The way to correct this is to change the blur string and you want to increase it. So they're now disappeared. You can't tell the difference between the left and the right. So that's basically how you do it. There's some things that you can adjust. Not if I was sitting not exactly halfway through. You can also adjust the x and y point and take a look at this, this recorded that I have here. Now if I adjust this, let me reduce the blur so that you can see this line better. Change. You see the line. If I move it. You can see this effect. So if, for example, there are certain objects you want to be on the left side, then you can actually Position this. But he had to be careful. As you play the video. Let's say, for example, the hand isn't crossed, they're lying. And these are some of the things you have to watch out for. Increase the blur is less noticeable. One other tip is there. When you shoot your video, you want to make sure that you shoot your media as fast as possible, or use artificial light indoors so that you have less of a chance where the light changes. That's all about creating cloned effect using the feature. 25. Adding Text Behind a Person: In this video, I will show you how to create an effect where you put the texts behind a person, like what you are seeing on the screen right now. This effect requires you to have some people in front and utilize us and effect in film era, where you separate the person from the background. You do not need to have a green screen or blue screen to do this. So let's show you how to do that. Now, to do this effect, you will need to have three video tracks. First I'm going to select the clip, radius, mark the in and out point k. So I'm just going to drag this onto a video track number one. Next, what I'm going to do is to copy and make a duplicate of this clip. And I'm going to place it on a track number three. I'm just going to select the tray and copy and paste it. Next, we want to make sure that your tracks are exactly aligned. And you can also check it by hiding and showing the track. Okay, So if there's no movement means it is exactly the same. Next, what you want is to go to effects and look for under the AI portrait folder, human segmentation. And drag it and place it to the clip above. Okay, nothing will happen yet. Next one is called to your titles. And I'm just going to use the default title here and drag the title and put it onto track number two. So straightaway you can see that it takes has appeared over here. Then I'm going to double click on the title. And I'm going to say, Okay, Thanks. Behind me. I'm going to change my font. This one, just because it looks a little bit better. Now next, what I'm gonna do is to animate this title, because right now you can see that the majority of this title is hidden. So I'm going to go into animation and go to Customize, right? So here you can customize it. And first I'm going to move my y position to be higher up. And you can see that tomorrow will put a keyframe over here. Now, I do not want to use these keyframes. I'm going to delete this. And I'm going to place my play here right at this beginning here, and add a keyframe. So first I'm going to erase this up, something like this. I want to move it out of the way, out of frame. Next, I will move my playhead further somewhere around here to the end and create another key frame and move the text across the screen like this. So they just leave the screen. This is what it will look like when you play. Okay? So that's how you create this text effect. This was your video. Do try it out for yourself and it is actually quite fun and easy. 26. Text Behind Regular Shaped Objects: this video, I will show you how to create text behind objects will be having a building in this case. And let's get started. I have a clip here, which is just time left. The video that I downloaded from Pixar be What you want to do is actually to have a duplicate off this video clip on the track. Okay, So what I'm gonna do is I'm just going to do that right now. We just copy and paste. So these two clips are exactly the same. So if we were the height one of this, you won't see any difference. Okay? Next how We're gonna add a title and go to titles, And I'm just going to use the default tighter over here and Eddie onto track number two. Okay, so let me just make this a little bit longer, all right? And, uh, and for the time being, I'm gonna hype the top breakfasts and a taco truck are put, and then I'm gonna double click on the text. This is Toronto, so I'm just going to but the new mr until all right. So clearly. Okay, I am going to next reposition this somewhere here. All right. Okay, Now, this tax of the movement isn't moving. Just appears. And ex, as you can see, is actually in front off that building. Now, what I would do is to just a booklet, and at some go to the advance a tap and create some animation for this text. I want the effect of kind of sliding. So do exactly push effect. Okay, so I'm just going to select this and double click on this, and you can see this push in and out. Okay, so right now, the Texas still above and I'm just going to click on OK, all right. So next thing what you need to do is with the Trop trick selected. What you want to do is go Teoh effects and click on the Image mosque will select the mishmash and drag you onto track number three. And at the same time, I'm going to hide the bottom tray. Okay? And the reason why I want to hide the track so that I can actually see the mask better. Okay, so next go back to the top train and you should want to go to the mosque here, the Mission Mosque and select a shape that suits this building. They were going to Moscow. So for this case, we will select a square shaped like this, OK, and then the next time we basically just adjusting this mosque, All right, So x is actually a just a master. The left into the right, wised up and down. Okay, so the first thing I'm going to do is adjust the witness because the building has come narrow. So I wanted to be a Stennis. A pencil. All right. And then I'm gonna leave the height. Basically alone. Doesn't really matter that much, because it's a straightened building, and the next I'm going to move. The eggs are on the actually the mask. So that is right at the building there. In this case, the building is quite quite straight, so you can actually use this must. And in the next video, I will show you how to do this. If you're building is irregular ship all right or something that you want to put the text me hang is an irregular shape. Right? So anyway, let's go in perceiving this, keep going to make it as narrow as possible. And I'm going to change the zoom level toe zoom in tow 100% so I can see this mass better. Okay, so right now you want the months to come right at this opposition. Otherwise, it doesn't look realistic. Some of the uses to say change it on a tree. Kids looks better now. And this is C minus tree, actually, 90 Okay. And then it's not really perfect yet because they do things kind of slanting a little bit. And but we can actually make this work. So you have a You plan your shot properly and you have, say, a building. This is actually much easier. However, like I say, it's an irregular shaped object. We've also look into the next video. So about first, let's do this. Let's changes to to Okay, it's a little bit too much. So I think the best effects still tree okay for this case, and I am going to just kind of feather this masa be okay, So let's go back later on, okay? And I'm going to zoom out back to the zoom feet so you can see right, and then I am going to turn on the visibility for the bottom tray. Okay, so now you have this effect here. All right, so that's basically how you do it. Okay, So if I was to just show you a larger image, you will still be the same. Let's put this back to here and let Zuma Murray. So this is all you need to do? I remember that you need to tracks, and the first clip and the clip have to be a lying. Exactly. And then the taxes, actually, in between the two layers, that's all about creating tax behind objects or a building using for more on nine. 27. Add Text Behind Objects: In this video, I will show you how to create the texts that goes behind it. Object effect, this video clip here on my timeline. The next thing that you want to do is to add two video tracks. Select the clip, copy it, then place it on the above at number three. Make sure you select the clip, then Control V to place it. I'm just going to adjust this smaller. Next, place the text on track number two. I'm just going to my titles. Select a simple one. I'm just going to use the default title. They see their high the tray on top first, I'm going to select the title and change the text, make it a bit smaller, and adjust this this way. So my idea is to have next move across the screen. And some of it will be behind the building and some of it will be in front and behind this. Now, I don't know what the title to go behind everything. I just want you to go behind certain structures and want to also make sure that the title will show up in-between these parts of the building. Now first, I'm going to keyframe this. And let's say this is a, this is the position. Select the keyframe. For one position. Move to the beginning, and another keyframe. I'll move the x right off the screen. So it looks something like this. When you play. Select this. Next, I'm going to select the clip above and turn on the track above. Double-click on Eclipse, go to your mask. And we will use dramas or freehand mass. Okay, so let's do this. Let's select this part of the building. So any part that the text is going to be in front, I'm going to mask it off. Now for this part, I want the text to appear in front of this so the mass will stay in front of it. For this section, the muscle, rather the text will go behind. So I'm going to mask it. For this one. I think I'm going to it looks like it's behind. So I'm just going to look the massing in front of it. Okay, so let's continue. Something like this. Then many comes to see the Big Bang. Big Ben, rather. It's going to grow behind it. Okay? And we will just close up the mask this way. Okay, so now you can see that. So I'm going to click on, Okay, let's play this. So you see that for this part and the text is going behind the building. So this part, it is going in front of it. Go behind again. Could be high. And the amazing thing, but using a freehand mask, you can see with this section, text is behind that building. Now, I'm doing this quickly and that's why you see that this part here isn't so perfect. However, if you take your time to place the mass right at this section, you can actually make this effect even better. Okay, Now beyond just the titles, let's go back to the title. I'm going to extend it. Select the title, adjust the keyframes position. So this is the last position. This is the beginning, this is a second position. Let's add another keyframe here that the title flies off the screen. Okay. Select, Okay. And this is what it looks like. This, how would you please texts behind an object ID field Mora. 28. Adding Realistic Camera Movement : in this video we'll show you how to create realistic camera movement as if your camera is handheld. Even though your camera waas are your scene or your video clip was shot using a tripod, I would be doing right now. So this video is actually a recorder using a tripod And the reason why you want to create a realistic camera movement? Is that such camera movement hand? How shot? Just give that came from toe look or at the same time, an informal view compared to, say, a shot that is, say station using a tri port. Now this creepier waas recorded on a tripod that you can see that photo frame is not moving even though I am actually talking and moving about first off in order to create fake or realistic movement. All right, depending on how you look at it is fake movement by realistic. So what I'm going to do is when you go to effects. But you want to look for east under the filters there is a sheikh, all right, And this ill the shake filters are the sheikh effects right that you want to use now the easiest one or the one that you want to use is actually a mile. And the reason is because we wanted to be a smooth type of camera movement. Okay, so you can try to select this and see what happens. And even then with a model, when you see kinds of look as if way are on a boat somewhere. All right? So I'm gonna used and drag this on my one on the threat number two. Okay. And I am going to stretch it out for the entire year. Click. No, I'm not going to use the entire clip for for this entire video. That would just make it Seems as if I'm on the boat somewhere. Okay, so we can't have that. So what I'm going to do is I am going to snip it off. I'm gonna have seven sections. We will have that model movement, and then there will be seven sections. There won't be any movement. All right, so let's say for the middle section s double click. I want to turn off the movement for this section here. Okay. And then for this section here, I'm going to remove the RGB and motion blur. We don't have any motion blood and I also being on a redo and reduce the frequency. All right, otherwise, we make leader be kind of seasick. Okay, Now it's beginning to look a little bit more realistic, but even then it's a little bit too much. So I'm going to reduce the that position as well. Let's try this again. So begin to see a little bit more realistic, but that that is kind of jarring. Many moves again. So for the second clip here on the changed the remove, all this already be separate and motion blur Kurdestan again. And remove this again. All right, so I just want to have some slight movement, and I am going to remove the rest of this mile movement. All right, so we have the beginning over here next. Okay, so for next, I'm going to use the site. Raise effect. Okay, so the site we see, if it can be quite strong, this will. Okay, let's use siree. Number one again. I am going to stretch it out a bit, okay? And I think publicly one sideways again removed the RGB and motion blur. And here the frequency is pretty high. Same astir exposition. Kill us, See how things goes here. Thank you. So again, he still quite strong. Right? So let's going change it to 0.2 So what we want is some slight movement, okay? Not something to jarring. Then that would make it unrealistic. And we can even move this. Give us some space between the section ran dairies. One time movement was us another. So that if it wouldn't be so jarring. Okay, so let's move this from here. Okay? This is again too much. Yes. Go down a bit more. Some exposition, maybe 0.0 to. Okay, So just depending on the clip that you want and the effects that you're after, so you may want to change this to a little bit higher so you can see that it is actually looking quite released it many times to such a movement. All right, so that's what how you to create this, uh, really stick camera movement effect using for Maura, we can add. Furthermore, that's at this number. You can even add the such event happened. Our movement here, we want to make sure that all this is turned down. Attendees Domus Well, okay, like I make sure you just wants arms. Like movement looks really good. Okay, so that's all to create thing. Released a camera movement using from more on nine. 29. Visual Trick with Vertigo Effect: In this video, I will show you how to create a vertigo effect. And it looks something like this is something like a trick to your eye. And let me just played it again. Okay, so what you see is that the person in the foreground mean a foreground isn't changing in size, but then the background seems to be getting closer and closer. K you probably seen this in the movies. And he also works for some scene scenery as well. This is what happens, right? Seemed as something is moving, the background is moving about. A foreground isn't changing in perspective our size, okay? So you have this trig cameras solid like a camera trick and in a sense it is. So how do you pull off this camera trick? Now there are actually two elements there is crucial. And number one, the camera have to move, right? So this is the original clip that I shot off myself. Basically, I just positioned myself and then I move my camera closer and closer to me. Now, the origin of S, you see that as the camera moves, the position of the foreground increases in size, as well as the background increases in size and destined norm. Okay? Now to start off this effect where you need to do is to select the pathway that cameras has to move. Split is okay. So next select the clip and right-click, go to crop and zoom, and then select pan and zoom. Now. And then you, what you want to do is to adjust as x2. Okay? Now, in this case, the camera is moving toward me. Okay, so when you zoom in, you want to reverse this, and k you want to zoom out, right? So, so this is actually what makes the effect work. Okay, so let's play this. Alright, so the foreground isn't changing, but the background seems to be moving. Okay, so that's how this works. So let me just play this for you again, right? So this part here, right? So towards the last bit here because the camera was moving at a different speed toward me. That's why I start to have you start to see that it isn't really showing so well. So there's two things you can do, either spit off the end or maybe a split this off and then adjust the speed of the zoom. Okay, so now to adjust the zoom, what you need to do is right-click and click and crop and zoom. Depending on how fast or slow the camera is moving toward you or away from you, then you need to adjust this. So actually, for the beginning of part of this video, the sizes abroad is about, okay, is just towards the end. Doesn't, doesn't OXO realistic. Okay. So let me just show you. This is a pretty okay. And until this part here then is highest speed isn't working so well. All right, so the trickier, like I mentioned, is to have a consistent, thus p of the camera. It is either moving away and towards you. Now one other thing is that for this clip, all right, you notice that the background is moving away. It seems the trickiest. I seem to be moving away. Whereas for this clip, okay, the background seems to be moving closer and closer. Ok, so the only difference is what happened was is actually the exactly same clip. What I have done is I have let me show you what I've done is I kill, I reverse this. So I've actually reverse the clip. So what happens now is that instead of a camera moving to me, because the clip is reversed, the camera is moving away from me. And then when it comes to the chromosome, the start point is and the whole frame and the endpoint is the pi here is a smaller part. So you can actually do this effect where the camera is moving away from you or moving to what that object. Okay, so let me show you how it's done for that drone clip as well. So this is the original grown clip. So as the drone flies away, you notice that you see more and more of this pi here and this respective gets smaller and smaller and that's the norm. Okay? So let's, let's do this. So right-click and click, crop and zoom, pan and zoom. I justice. Let's try this. Okay. So you notice here that the ocean, at this point it starts to get smaller and smaller, faster, get smaller and smaller. So the reason is because the drone is kind of honor, as he backs away from the scene, is moving out. What okay. So in this situation, what I'm gonna do is I'm going to have a slight pen, the jazz Abyss just a slight bit so that it looks realistic. Okay, so it's as if the Bish is unfolding away, right? So let's click on, Okay, let's play this. So that's how you create these vertigo effect. Using for Mora. Hope you have fun with it. 30. Color Matching Different Clips (Filmora X): In this video, I will show you how to use color matching inform our attempt. Now, color matching is when you want to match that porn and the color of two different clips, okay, for example, I have a clip here, they have this tone. And the second clip we has a greenish color tone. And let's say I went to mesh this to this video. So to do that, what you need to do is to select the clip that you want to match the color width. And then heat on the color tab and go and select kinda match. Ok. And then click on comparison view. And then you will have here on the window. Tomorrow I'll give you an option which frame that you want to match to the earlier video. Ok, so let's say I want to match the colors here, which is a little bit publish, and the colors are actually pretty strong. But let's go with this and click on match. And you'll notice here that now this video, the second, you do not have these colors, which is more magenta and reddish. Alright, so just click on OK. And so you can see the change here. So let me just select by this clip. And if I were to turn off the color match, so this is the original color. This is the color by matching to the click on the front. And there is also a levels that you can adjust. For example, you think that this is a bit too strong, you want to reduce it a bit. You can do so. Go back to compare if you want to match it to a different frame. So let me just click on the right. And you'll notice that if you play the video now, he has a very similar kind of look and feel. And you can sort of create a video that people think that it's actually shot roughly at the same place, at the same time. So that's how you use color matching in for more attention. 31. Motion Tracking Objects (Filmora X): In this video, I will show you how to do motion tracking in from Morocco ten. So here is a van on the road and we would try the event and Ed graphics to this. And so the first thing that you need to do is actually to select the clip and then using this icon here, which turns on motion tracking. So here under the video settings here you notice that the motion tracking has been turned on. And then you have a square here that turns up on your screen, right? So the first thing that you want to do is to position this square here or the rectangle to the item that you want to track. In this case, we're going to track this van over here. And then what you can do is to resize this box to somewhere that fits this man. Now basically what it does is that it's gonna tell for Mora there, this is the target that you want to try and look for changes. So that after Moroccan tray, where there is a vehicle or whether it's just your hand or an object that's in the screen. You may need to adjust this. And it is actually good to select objects there of distinct shape and with some, some markings as much as possible, it would be quite difficult to actually track things they say, of leave in an ocean of green, for example, are once you have selected that you want to do is to click on start tracking. And you notice that the tracking is going on, as you can see here. After morass task gets distracted and started to track the billboards are what want to do is actually to cancel the track and click on Reset. All right, so this is what I mean by tomorrow making an error and it happens. Okay, so we're going to do is to select motion tracking again. And maybe this time you went to track the sudden corner that allows for marital. Try this much easier. All right, so maybe you can just track this fun and click on start tracking again. All right, so this time you notice that the tracking the van is much more accurate. And it happens with all kinds of software that is doing motion tracking. And here you got confused again, it doesn't matter. So if you want to redo the track, what you can do is actually to reset and do it again. But for the purpose of this tutorial, I'm just going to maybe stopping here. Otherwise it's going to get too long. So next, what I'm gonna do is to just click on OK. So next what I wanna do is to add an arrow to point to the advent. And I'm going to drag this arrow down onto the track above. Now this arrow is a PNG image, and I created it using Google drawings. So you can actually created there as well. And I'll select this. I'm going to resize arrow. And I'm going to move it to less than Van and Sardar root TVs. Alright, so you can point to the red. And next, once you are satisfied with the size of the arrow, click back onto the track. The initial clip. Here an emotion tracking tab where you want to do is to select this little rarer left, okay? And click on. Okay. Let's play the clip. You'll notice that the arrow would actually follow the van. You will follow until the point where the arrow gets confused and start fighting at the trees are i, so this will happen with things like this. So when you want to track sudden things you want to do is to try to track something distinct. So somehow he got confused with that is RI, and what you can do is you can actually up to this point, split this clip here. Alright? And then reset this. Okay, let's go back to this lesser reset that tricky. Alright, and maybe get for Bora to retract the vent this time from this position. Ok, so basically what we are doing is we are splitting the tracking into two plots. Ok, hopefully you will track better. Let's try this. Yes, it does a much better job and it is not tracking the trees. Alright? So what you can do now is to split the arrow as well. Ok? So now you want to do the same for the arrow. Okay? All right, so now when you play this, you should follow key my computer hang a little bit. So this alright, so basically that's how you would do motion tracking if your tracking isn't so clear. Besides doing trekking or objective moves, you can also track, say, a camera movement that pen. So in this case the camera, the camera pans up. And instead of adding an arrow or graphics, I'm going to show you how to add our title over here. Click on motion tracking and cleaner start tracking. So I'm going to track the middle of this sky bridge over here. Okay? Careful to select this point over here and click on start tracking. All right, so now that the tracking is done, I'm just gonna click on OK. And next I'm gonna go to the titles and select Normal title. I'm just gonna use a default title and drag it over onto the clip here. Alright, so let me extend this. And then what I'm gonna do is to select this and I'm gonna type here as sky bridge. Okay, and let's just make the text has made smaller. I'm just gonna make it smallest further. Theorem 36. So next I am going to position the text or here, right above this one and rotate it a little bit just to have the few. Alright, so then I'm going to click that onto the clip. And then when it comes to the motion tracking tab this time I'm going to select the default title and then click on. Alright, so let's play this now. You can see that the text actually sticks to this point or is a threat to this point rather. Alright. So that's how you do a motion tracking with four borrow ten. 32. Motion Tracking Trick (Filmora X): In this video, I will show you how I created this trick for Mora. There. First you see that tracking and then it seems that the treading isn't really following that initial candle over here. Alright, so we say plastic candle. This is actually the clip di, recorded initially. I'm a go around and I actually plan out my movement over here and actually move this a few times. And what he, I realized that I need to adjust my C the bid and so I did it again, right, so that the actual footage that I use for the front part is this point somewhere around here, I guess over some may here, all the way to here. So let me show you how I did the initial part and then let me show you the second part of it. Alright. So this is the first part of that I did the tracking of the candle. Basically it's just simple. I split this clip here and then I move to the pouring rain I wanted. Alright, so basically the tracking is from here to here where every shot track. So I'll double-click on the track, click on motion tracking, select this and adjust the tracking so that it is much smaller than somebody like this, right. So there's my motion tracking. So let me just cancel that. And Harry said that the motion tracking wasn't done very well and this is what are the things with the film morass motion tracking. You may need to double check it. And I found out that the reason is because this object was white in color and I was actually moving quite fast. So that may have an issue with tracking. Okay, so let's try this again. All right, so this is the first part of the video. Next, edit, the default title. So it can be anything, let's just say is tracking and skin and okay, I'm just gonna resize this position somewhere here. Then I went back to this motion tracking clip here and click on the default title and click on okay. This is a here, the first part of the video that when it comes to the second part, the video when I did this trick. So you notice that the candle wasn't really moving. So let me just split the clip here again. Next, we did my segment here. I actually have another clip where I did this. Okay? I wanted to have the tracking data created by Phil neuron with this. Okay? Okay, I'll try this a few times. Now use this segment. I'm gonna split this clip here and move to the end and split this. Okay, so what happened was that I placed this clip here. I have moved this clip, this original clip that you're seeing right now, with a trick shot. I've actually moved this clip to the top track. And I've moved this clip to the bottom over here. Okay. And then I used a bottom clip. So okay. Let me hide the top track. I used a bottom track and I wanted the tracking data from this clip. So I double-click on this US motion tracking and at this time track this as well. So what we are after is actually after the tracking data, okay, the movement itself, case those type checking. All right, and then click on okay, next, what I'm gonna do is to use the default title again. Okay, in fact, I can actually copy this type of video track based this on top of and do it here. So I have the exec, words on top. K into position is about the same here. And I double-clicked back to this one. Default title again. Alright, so this is what will happen. Let me turn back track on. Alright, so because this track is hidden, what you are seeing is the top track. The data from the tracking is using this one right over here. Right? So what you're seeing is this. And basically that's how I created this motion tracking trick for morale of their folly, useful and maybe it's something that you can use as well. 33. Using Keyframes For Effects And Transition (Filmora X): In this video, I will show you how to use the keyframes function in Fra Mauro ten. Now this take note that this function is only available in femoral ten and above. So if you are using for Miranda, This feature is not available to use keyframe. Click on the clip that you want to put key frames on. And under this video click on animation and goes to customize, okay, and this is the menu for adding keyframes here. Then we just adjust this a bit. And there are actually four parameters that you can use keyframes on. Number one is rotate, second is scale. Third is the position as well as the opacity. So these are the four things that you can apply key frames on to a video. So let me just show you the easiest one which is rotated and this is quite easy to see. So for the moment, this clip here is very simple. Just a camera panning to some hills. Okay, so let's say somewhere here I wanted to rotate my video. So the first thing that I want to do is to add a keyframe v. So you can notice that there is a green button or a green bubble Odessa applied to that clip. Alright, so this tells our femora that this is your starting point. Okay? So lets say somewhere here, you wanted to rotate this. So what I'm gonna do is I am going to select the frame and I'm going to rotate it one. I'm gonna rotate this one time. X. Actually let me just reset. This is easier to do it here. So let's say I want to rotate a 180. And that's not changed her position yet. So it's back to that position is same. Okay. We're not changing the position yet. We're just going to rotate this. Ok. So let me just play the video for you now. So you notice that as I play from this point, the rotation is 0 degrees, and at this point it is 180. So this is actually a basic rotation. And you'll notice that when you have a key frame and the change in parameters, any of these four parameters, there is an arrow, green arrow, right? And let me just add another key frame here. And I'm going to rotate it back to 360. And then there's another arrow. So if you play this, this will be what happens. Okay? So this is just the rotation parameter. Now you can actually adjust a keyframe several ways. Number one, you can insulate the keyframe and you can select it with your mouse. Or also, you can also select this with these patents over here, either going to the previous Cree frame or the next keyframe. So let's click on this last keyframe, that previous keyframe. To adjust this, I can select the keyframe and actually pull this to the left or to the right. Okay, the closer 1 to the next point means that the faster that this changes will occur. So for example, here it will rotate much faster. And then here the rotation is slower, okay? So these are the basic controls of the keyframes. You can actually add more key frames in between as well. Let's say for example, somewhere here, k. So this is somewhere around 270 as key to 70. And then a keyframe is added that to 70. So let's say I move this place and I want to maintain a two 7-0. Okay? So what happens now is that over here, your rotation is 0 degrees. Here, it goes to a 180 and then it changes all the way to 270. But then because I added this keyframe, there's no arrow between this point and this point. And let me just zoom in a bit more. There's no arrow between this point and this point, which means, although there is a keyframe, none of the parameters change in case all the videos at 270. And then again it rotates a bag to the normal. Ok. So in essence, you can add key frames in between your keyframes. You can remove them. Let me show you how. Let me remove this keyframe. Okay? So now the rotation is seamless from one key frame to another. Okay? So if you do not want this keyframe, you can also remove this, kick the skill and delete this key and then your video or n, we write 270. Okay? So, so these are the ways you can adjust your key frames as well as moving the clips. Okay, let me just reset all this fuss. Okay? And another way you can use a key frames is to scale your video. So let's go to the position here. So at the beginning of the clip, I'll say the scale is a 100 and you want to add the keyframe to let, for moral node that you want it to be at a 100. And then less will be somewhere here. And you can actually zoom in by scaling it up a 125 K. So now your video was zoom-in, right? And then you want to zoom out. You can change this, or you can actually just reset this. Sophia Moreau automatically add a keyframe, right? So if you look at it, this one will be 100%. This is a 122. Which means here you are zooming in and zooming out again, right? So this called scaling. Now you want to combine c scaling with the position. You can do this. So let me just reset all the keyframes for this clip phis. Ok, so at the beginning, I want this to be at a keyframe. So somewhere here, I want to scale it to say 40%, as well as change the position and the canyon the position by dragging this video here. So what happens now is that you'll notice something like this. K is actually a pretty cool effect that you can combine things together, okay? Opus, this pretty simple and you can actually add things here, for example, say, Well, okay, let's, let's do this in reverse. I'm going to add the keyframe here. At the keyframe, Go to the n or the click, revert all this co-vector a 100%. But then at the end of this keyframe, I want to reduce the opacity as well. Ok? So when you see this, this is what will happen. Now let me show you how you can actually combine several of these together with rotation, scale, and position to create a very interesting transition like this, I remove this, I don't know one, this clip. Okay, so rather I want this section of the clip. So this is what I want. I want SDA video coming to here to zoom in a b. Then a justice will trim this a bit. Okay? So what I'm gonna do now is let me reset everything. Okay, so this is the original video. I want to have a zooming somewhere here because the umbrella looks so nice. Let me move this. Okay, so some may hear and see into spin up right over here. This is me. Alright? So this is what I'm gonna do. Lays this. So first thing I'm gonna do is I am going to add a key frames here. From this point. Some a here, and a keyframe that he'd be at a 100%. And as I move over to the umbrella, one to zoom into the umbrella. So let's change it to a 120. Okay? And then I'm going to add another key frame with respect to 0. Actually want this to be further along here. Okay? So now zoom into the umbrella, go back to 0. And then from this point on, I actually had a keyframe. And I'm going to stop making is smaller. And the last key frame at the end of the clip hopes. The last key frame and the n are the clip. What I want is for the this frame to loaded up outside of the frame and in between spinner field times, spin twice. Okay, so let's see what's happened. Is omitted, umbrella is Amal. And then when it comes to this video here, I want the same thing to happen. So lets check the zoom right here is 32%. Okay? So I'm going to select the clip, go two to the n skeletal but 32 multi-source data frames on what? Tv? Slightly. We'll get off the frame. And then when I come to this position, I wonder vidoes spinning. So first off, I'm going to change this cubic to a 100. And then this one goes back to here. And in between, I went to rotate this a few times. And it's supposed to go back to the top 720. Let's see if it works properly. So I should I clean, make this been happening much faster so that it matches the front? And then you have a perfectly good transition for your video. Infirmary ten. So this how you use a keyframes. Okay, so I hope you have fun with using keyframes. 34. Automatically Lower Volume using Audio Ducking: In this video, I will show you how to use the audio ducking feature in femora. What do your ducking refers to? Lowering the volume of usually a music track or a background track because there is either narration or some others sounds in a different track. I commuted this clip because there isn't any interesting sound in this clip. I just want to have the background music play for this section. However, in this section I wanted to have some narration, audio ducking. This is what happens. The volume or the background music is perfect. We're decide, however, once it across the site, this section, the music is too long just to go listen to it. Due dates and amazing. And this is taking, even before this part here the music is a bit loud. One way is to adjust the music manually. The other way is to use these ducking feature and to do that, select the clip with the audio. It doesn't matter whether it is just narration or whether it has video itself, it works the same way. And once you do that, click to your audio tape and scroll down. This is where the duckling is. You turn this on. Now an attendees on, you will see that all these waveform will be loaded. I can adjust how much I want to lower this volume. If I want to lower more, I go to the right. If I want to lower less, I go to the left. Let's keep you at a default and take a listen to it. Again. Here the music will be the same volume as us initially set this section. The volume will be lower. And once it passes this section, the volume will automatically go back to the normal. Let's take a listen spot for t. The view days amazing. And this is even before you reach Cameron highlands proper. This is how audio ducking works and you can set it for different, different tracks. Let's do this. At the moment. I'm going to use this as well. Turned on ducking. Here again, you see that the volume has the width. Once it crosses this section, you will go back to its normal volume. That's all about audio ducking in your Mora. 35. Enhance Your Video With Audio Effects: In this video, I'm going to cover some new features in more a temple five and we'll cover the audio effects at this time. With this new feature allows you to create things like echo reverb, as well as the noise as it is coming from a phone. Now echo allows you to do something like this. Hello. It's amazing, isn't it? Sound design actually makes a big effect in creating your video. For example, even in my tutorials when I'm typing a heavy hearing, things like a keyboard sounds of the clicks actually is very important to give that audio effect, okay, it impacts us in a different way. Now, the next tree is reworked and reworked gives you the impression of whether you are in a large room, medium-sized room, or us more room. Now these things are very important if you are creating your videos and you want to give the impression of whether you're in a big space or in a small space. Finally, you have one that allows you to sound as if you're talking on the phone. Hello. How are you? Compare that to be an audio effect? Hello, this is James. How are you today? So let's dive into the screen and show you how to go about it. In order to apply the Audio Effects is very simple. It is under the Effects tab and you can actually see the audio effects here. And there are actually five effects. Try the echo for us to use eco. Just select this and drag it down onto your audio clip. And you can actually hear the ACO straight away. Let's play this. Hello. Okay? And in order to adjust this, you can double-click on that audio clip and a head on into your audio effects, you should see that there is a section for delay time as well as the decay factor. The delay time shows you how fast you want your code to show up. If you want to echo to show later, change it to a higher figure, then it will actually start slower. Imagine that time for the echo to show up after you have spoken as try this. Hello. Hello. Okay, so in order to make it more realistic, I, for me, I found that it's better to Tony somewhere towards the beginning. Reduced time delay. Okay? However, if you are in your Canyon or you want to give the impression that you are in a canyon and the echo takes a long time, then you want to increase the delay time. The decay factor is how fast the solid actually die off or trail off. Okay? So if you have a longer than you will, takes longer for the time to trail off. So let's try this. Hello low, low, low, low. Okay. So you can actually adjusted according to your needs. And a different effect will have actually a different settings. Let's try the one with the lobby and the big room. So this is my original audio. So this is an example of the song in a big room. Okay, So let's pull the lobby. I'm going to use the lobby so that you can hear the effect of vata. However, there is actually the lobby, which means it's the largest room. And then you have something in the middle and then it's small room and do the lobby for us. We'll do the same. Just drag it down onto the array. Well, you'll click. So this is an example of a sum in a big room. Okay, Sounds pretty nice. Let's double-click this. And under the audio reverb effect, you can actually choose their level. If you want to reduce the level a bit, you can actually reduce it so that the room doesn't sound too big. So this is an example of the sound in a big room. And for the small room, works the same way as well. Let's try this and this year. And I'm just going to reduce this by a bit. This is example, your audience in a small room. Okay? And one last thing is the audio track for the phone. Okay, so let's go to the phone here. I've actually put the down into this clip already, but let me just turn it off and play this. Hello. This is James. How are you today? Okay. And by turning it on, How are you? Okay. One thing I found with a phone effects that you may need to increase the volume of B to cater for the reduced sound. So it sounds a little bit louder. Hello. How are you today? Okay, So for this, for the phone effect, there is nothing you can adjust. And one other thing for about the ACO is the the echo allows you you need to have a kid that is long enough for the echo to trail off. If your clip is cut off, then you actually cut off too soon. I hope there is viewed as heavily in terms of adding audio effects into your video. Please play around with it so you can actually enhance your video to the next step. 36. Exporting Your Video: In this video, I will show you how to export your video. Assuming you have completed your video, you may want to export this, or you may just want to have a look, see how your video is progress so far. You can also export the video just to take a look. So to start exporting, click on the Export tab at the top. There's some limitations. If you haven't purchased femora. You can still export with a bottom-up. And let's just click on this and you'll be taken to this screen. The first step is the type of files that you want to export your video in. Whether it is MP4, EVC, EVA, etc. I'm just going to select on MP4. Next you can give your video a name. Let's just say this will be my demo export. Then next is the directory where you want this file to be saved. Select this option here. You will be saved to this location. I'm just going to put it as training. Got a few more I x and let's say it will be final cut. This is my folder. Next, you can select the resolution. Basic resolution for my video is 1920 by ten ADP, full HD. You want to change it and I just click on the Settings. And you can make some of these settings here. For example, if you want your resolution to be higher, you can select this. Next is the encoder. I'm just going to use H.264 since it's not a GoPro, unless I'm just gonna leave it alone. Frame rate, I will leave it as the frames per second. Or I can also change it to 29.97 because that's the frame rate of most of my video clips. Next is the bit rate. And bit rate, the higher the buret means your video quality will be larger when you export. However, it means also larger file sizes. For something like this, depending on your video resolution here, you can infer maybe around 15 thousand kilobits per second or etc. Let's just take the ten. Next is the audio encoder. There's nothing much to change. Most of the time you will be AAC, stereo or surround sound if you're using surround. So I'll leave the sample rate to this 48 thousand hertz. And if you wanted to have higher bit rate, you can choose higher than 256256 is the common heavy red. Let's click on. All right, here are few more. I will tell you that this will be your final file size, about 67 megabytes, and the duration would be just under a minute. Now if you want to create any auto highlight, you can select this as well. To upload to the Cloud, you can click this as well. Next, let's go to the device. This one is if you want to export it to your connected device like an iPhone or an iPad. However, if you want to export and upload to YouTube, you can also log in into your YouTube account. Generally, I don't do that. I usually prefer to export it to my local computer. Take a look at this. If I'm happy, then I would export upload it to YouTube or other places. If you have a GPU, then turn this on, you will meet your video. Export faster. And once you're done, just click on the Export button. For more. I will do his thing. You can see the bar here that for Mora exporting the video and the percentage. Once it's done, you can open the folder to see where your video is located. So this is the demo export. This is the video. Alright. So basically that's about exporting your video in Mora. 37.
