1. Introduction to the course: Hi. My name is Maduair and my courses are followed by more than 25,000 students across 165 countries. My courses are prominent and best sellers on many platforms. With years of experience in content creation and video editing, I have helped convert thousands of simple footage into stunning videos from YouTube intros to professional client videos, I have done it all. And now I'm here to help you do the same. In this beginner friendly video editing course, I will walk you through a simple yet powerful video editing software I will also give you raw materials like sample footages, images, a logo, background music. We will work together in loading all those files into the software and then editing them and creating one final video. We will then download it from the software, and this way, you'll be able to see entire life cycle of video editing, starting from raw images, videos, footages, logos and sounds, how you blend them all together, add transitions, and get a professional video in the end. We will do all this in this course step by step. All the tools that I'm using in this course are absolutely free and available on Internet. All you need is a desktop or a laptop and a working Internet connection. This course is designed for beginners. Whether you are a content creator, a teacher, an expert, a subject matter expert, a businessman, content creator, a marketer, or teacher, this course is perfect for you. You do not need any prior video editing experience, not even any experience in dealing with videos or images. We will start from scratch and I'll walk you through step by step till the end. And the best part, you'll be creating your own video from the rock clips that I give you by the end of this course. Great. I am super excited to get started and share this knowledge with you. With that, I'll see you in the next chapter. 2. 3 critical parts of any video: Now that we have downloaded the software, the in resolve, we can get into the basic editing. Now, before we get into basic editing, I wanted to run you through the three key parts of any video. And once you see this lecture, you'll realize that yeah, every video kind of has these three parts. Even a movie has these three parts. So let's get started with that. So the first part of any video is an intro. Then it's followed by the middle. And then you have the middle section, which is a content section, and you have an outro. The Intro usually is a welcome. You know, if you're on YouTube, you'll see welcome to my channel. If you're watching a movie, you will see the cast names who all have been involved in producing the movie. Any video they see, you know, we talk about documentaries. Intro is setting up the stage, setting expectations with your audience in terms of what can they expect from this video. So intro is necessary and any video, you can divide into three parts. The first would be intro second would of course be the content of the entire video, which is the largest section or the longest part of any video. And all videos end with an outro, which is a thank you or a message or, you know, maybe if you are recording this for a course, it would be that the message would be that I'll see you in the next chapter. If you are recording for YouTube, maybe this ends with thanks for watching. Please don't forget to subscribe anything. So that's the end of a video. So three parts intro middle outro. This is the technical terms any video editor uses, get used to it. It will be useful as we go along in this course. Now, we always talk about video. Watching a video, another important aspect is also the audio of any video. So for every video, we have to think about an audio. Usually for intro, you know, you have a welcome music. You have some background music playing and maybe the instructor coming in, or if it's welcome to my channel, you have some upbeat music playing, welcoming you to the channel or to the video. And then you have the content where, you know, either the instructor is speaking or you have somebody who's, you know, showing you some products. It could be, you know, a holiday video with just some background music, but you have a definite video to go along. And in the end, you have a thank you conclusion audio towards the end. So these six elements, which is intro video and its audio, middle video and its audio, and Otro video and audio. So these six elements make one single video. So keep this picture in your mind. This is going to be very handy as we get into actual editing on the software. Now, there are many softwares to use when it comes to video editing. Many are free. There are some paid as well. You know, you must have heard of Filmora, cap cart, RCU and the next chapter. H 3. Choosing the right Video Editor: Now, when it comes to video editing tools, there are many tools available in the market. Many softwares available. You have Cap cat, Phil Mora, Adobe Premiere Pro, you have the Vinci Resolve. You have I movie, which is specifically for Apple IOS users. So there is so much available. But my favorite is the Vinci Resolve for two big reasons. One, of course, it's free, but that's not the big reason. The big reason is it's really powerful. Even Hollywood movies are today edited on the Vinci Resolve. It's so powerful. So in this course, I'll teach you how to download, install and edit your first video using the inch resolve. Great. I am super excited to get started and share this knowledge with you with that I'll see you in the next chapter. 4. Downloading the Video Editor - Da Vinci Resolve: So let's see how to download. Open your browser, go to Google and type the Vinci Resolve. And once you hit Enter, the first one to pop up idly should be the Black Magic Design. I'm also including the link for this website in the resource section. And this is how the Black Magic Design website looks like pretty jazzy. Just keep scrolling down till you see the option to download. Free Download now, and this will open up a new page. So once you're here, click on Download. If you're using a MAC OS is pretty straightforward. Depending on the operating system you're using, Mac or Linux or Windows, just download one of these. Once you click on it, it's going to ask you for a couple of details about you and your city. Don't worry. It is an absolutely free software. This is for their database to understand who's downloading and what is the purpose of download. Once you're done with all this, you will get the EXE file, just double click on it and install the software very straightforward. So once the software is installed, we will start going through the basics of the software, and that we will cover the next chapter. I'll see you there. 5. Download raw materials: Alright, we are almost about to begin editing a video for the very first time. Now, to get started, I am giving you some raw footage, raw material, you know, trying to mimic a sample video creation. So let's take a look at what we have. What So we have three videos of oceans. Let me quickly play this and show it to you. So this is a drone footage of a beach. The next one, again, is a drone footage of a different beach. And then you have a footage of a girl walking on the beach. I have three pictures. One is of a beautiful beach and then one of a sunset on a beach and then another one, again, of a sunset. And then I have an audio here. I'll play this and make you listen to it. I have a logo, and I have a picture. I'm giving you all this material in the resource section, download. What we are trying to do is to mimic an actual video editing, let's say, for a YouTube channel where you have a thumbnail, you have your own logo. You have some music, a couple of pictures, and a few videos which you are trying to bring together. So download this and we will together edit this entire video in the next chapter. By doing this, you will have a lot more confidence when you sit down to edit your own video because now you have expertise in handling videos, images, logos, and music. So all these three, four things are coming together in this video. So for the very first time, come along with me, download the software. Follow exactly what I'm doing. I'll try not to use keyboard, use the mouse mostly so that you can also replicate exactly what I'm doing. So let's do one video together, and then I think you will be at a point where you will confidently say that the next video I can edit on my own. With that, I'll see you in the next chapter. 6. Da Vinci Resolve overview: Welcome to this chapter. This is where we will start editing. Let's understand how the software works. I've just started or initiated the software by double clicking on the icon. When this opens up for you, I have a couple of, you know, projects already, but when this opens up for you for the very first time, you will click on Untitled Project and start from here on. Now, once you start, this is the screen that you will see. Let me run you through this screen and the options available here. I'm using 18.5. You may be using 19 or 20. It doesn't really matter. Not a lot of it's not a big difference. Very minor differences in the back end, so trail doesn't matter. Let's get started. So there are seven panels in the bottom. These are very important panels. This is, you know, I would consider them as each room. You know, the first room is all about media of what is that you would like to edit. You know, we saw the images, we saw the videos, the logo, thumbnail, music. This is where we're going to drop everything so that we can start using these files and the system can start reading those files. Then comes CAT I don't use this much, but this is where if you have big videos, long videos and you only want like 5 minutes from that video, you don't want to play around with the entire heavy video on the software. So you can cut them, make them smaller, and then start the minor level of editing. So cut is used for that. Then comes your edit window. This is the primary place where you will edit most of your videos. This is the room or the bucket where you'll spend most of your time on this software. Then comes fusion. Fusion is for any sort of after effects, any sort of animation that you would like to add. And then you have color color is for, you know, as you know, color correction for any of the images. And then you have fair light. This is the audio part. So if you want to reduce the background noise, noise reduction, all that is done here, and then eventually you will come to deliver. In deliver, decide what kind of output you're looking for. Do you want to go for YouTube or maybe real LinkedIn, you want it for a certain project and they have a specific requirement. You can see you have all the presets here. You have YouTube as a preset. Let's see. You have Vmeo, Twitter, Tik Tok, presentation, dropbox, IMF, final cut. So these are all presets are there and you and you also have an option to custom export, so you can set your own settings to get the file out of this software. And that's a final file. So as you can see, you start from here and you go through this entire process one room at a time and eventually you reach at deliver where you have the final video ready. So these are the seven workflows of the inch resolve. Very, very useful and very straightforward. And I find it really easy to work with. I'm sure you will too after you edit one video. We'll do that in the next chapter. 7. Loading files into Media pool: Great. We are all set. By now, you should have downloaded the software. You should have downloaded the raw materials from the course resource section, and we can now start editing. So let's get started with that. The first thing we do for any project is to put all the required material in a single folder. And that's what we have done. So when you download, there should be a folder. If they are not just put it in one place, so it's easy. You don't miss out anything. Now, you can bring each of these elements one by one. What I usually do is I minimize the screen. Yeah, there you go. I can minimize this. And then I can bring in one item at a time like this. I'm dragging and dropping. Now, if you don't want to do that, you can select all of them, minimize, and you can bring all of them. You you can see the number 99 files are coming together. Now, that's one way to do it. If you want to go in a different way, this is the third option. You can go to the exact file, look for the location. I'm looking for the location here. There you go. Look for the location. You can see in raw material. I have all the nine files. You can even see a preview of these files here. If you just hover your mouse, the images will not move while the videos, you can see, they are moving so you know there are videos and audio will show up like this. I'll show just a line that it's an audio. So all these files are here. What I'll do now is I'll select all of them, creating a bucket like this, select all of them and drag them into the media pool. The moment you drop them here, you can see all nine files are now available, they're loading and they'll start showing up images. Depending on your processor speed, it may take probably 25 seconds, 30 seconds, a minute for all images to show up, but wait for everything to show up and then we can start editing. So this is how you load files into the inch resolve. And once you have done this, I usually straightaway go to Edit. There you go. And in the edit, you can see all these files are visible here. Just in case you do not see these files, your media pool might be off. As you can see currently, it's not showing the white mark. That means it's off. Just click on it, and now it is white and it is showing up here. So it's that simple. Now we can start editing, and we'll do that in the next chapter. 8. Sequencing on edit line: So by now, we have downloaded and installed the Vinci Resolve software. We have also downloaded all the raw files and uploaded that to the media pool. In this chapter, we will see how to begin the editing process. All right, let's get started. Now, the files that you have loaded, they should show up here in the media pool just in case you don't see this media pool maybe off, click on this and it'll pop up so you can see the files. Now, what is that I want to do? I want to have a picture in the beginning, preferably this picture, then maybe one video, one image, one more video, one more image, and then end again with the same picture which says subscribe. I want to have my logo throughout the entire video. And a beautiful music playing in the background. So that's a requirement per se. So let's get started. You now need to drag and drop the files in the sequence that you need them. So the first one is this one. I'm going to click on it. Click on it and drag till here. You can if you see, this gives me an option if I scroll my mouse here to pull up, so I can pull up and make some space here. Don't worry if this image goes small. This is just a monitor. The actual video will have no impact if this one becomes small or big. So my picture is there, the welcome image and then maybe I'll follow it up with this one and then a picture. Let me put this picture. Then another video, maybe maybe one more video and then one more picture, one more picture, and then I'll end with the same picture that I started off with. Now, when you drop it here, you'll see that some of them have this green icon and some don't is because this line that you see here is the divider line between audio and video. On the top, you have video and below you have audio. Now, since this is an image, it has no audio. You can see this space is blank. This is a video. This is carrying audio. There are some videos, sometimes they don't carry an audio. This space would be blank. Pictures by default don't have any audio in it, and that's why all these spaces are blank. If I drag and drop my song, this will only show up here because it has no video to it. I only has audio. If you see here, now what is happening is we have an image. It starts with this image. Then we have a video of a drone footage of a beach followed by a beach, then another drone footage of a beach. Then we have the girl walking through, and then we have two sunsets and then we have the last image. Now, this is your control bar. You know, if you put it here and if you click on this blade and cut here, you will see a line has been created. The video has been cut into two. I'll do a Control Z so that, you know, we undo the changes. I'll go back to my arrow. So this is your control frame. So wherever you keep this, whatever you do the edits, that frame will be impacted. Now, when you click on any picture video or audio, a control panel will open up here, and the purpose of this panel is to manage how this picture of video or audio will look. So I have an option to zoom. I can zoom in, zoom out. I can you know, move it left, right, change the position up down. I can rotate the angle. I can I can even pitch them or yaw them. You know, I can flip it if I want. And then I have some cropping options. Crop means cut. So if I cut it from the left, I can cut it from the right, top, bottom, and then I have dynamic Zoom. If you activate this, this picture or video will zoom throughout the video. Then you have an opacity, which is, transparency for an image, then you have speed, stabilization, image correction. I'm not going to use all of this, but there are a lot of options you can play around with. Primarily, I use cropping and transform. In case you, in case you zoom in and you don't know what to do, don't bother do Control Z, it'll come back. But if you really want to just go back to the same image where you started off with, click on this button. This is reset all. So it just goes back to where you started off with. Again, you know, I can keep my cursory. That means I'm watching this. But since this image is highlighted, whatever ps I make always ensure whatever your time worker on that image so that you know when you're zooming in, zooming out. So let's get started. So I have my video, the first one, then goes my second video. I have a picture. The picture. As you can see, there's some blank space left on the left and right side. So what I'll do is I'll click on this and I'll zoom in a little bit till the time this blank space is gone. You can see I'm eating into the blank. Now, since I have zoomed in, I have an option to a little bit up or below because now, it's a bigger image. Let me keep it here. Then you have this video. It covers the entire screen, great. Then you have the girl walking through the beach covers the entire screen, great. This one, again, you can see some image gaps here. Again, I'll click on this image and I'll zoom in a little bit. There you go, set. Then I have this one. I've purposefully chosen a couple of images which are vertical so that I can show you how to zoom in. Click on this and just zoom in. There you go. Now you have an option to, you know, make it go up or down. I think this looks fine. This is in line with, you know, if you see the horizon, it is in line with this one. At this point in time, if I play this video, this is how it looks. I'm going to play it in fast forward. You are coming towards the end of the video, and there you go. So this is how it currently looks. It's a very raw video edit right now. In the next chapter, we will see how to make it a little bit more professional, how to add transition, how to beautify it. I'll see you in the next chapter. 9. Adding transitions: Welcome to this chapter. So far, we have downloaded the inch Resolve software. We have installed it, and we have uploaded the raw files onto the media pool. We also created a sequence, which is also called the timeline where we have put in the pictures, videos, in a sequence, the way we want it. So that's very high level editing. Now we'll go into some beautification, some adding some professional elements to it. So let's start with the first one, which is called a transition. Now, what is the transition? Let's zoom in and I'll show you what it does transition. So let's zoom in here. Now, if you see when I'm moving from this image to the video, it's really abrupt. Let me show you how. I just I just changes. You know, there is no smoothness to it. So what we will do is we'll add a transition here. To find transition, just click on effects. This transition or this effects panel will open up. We're looking for video transitions, and this is a whole list of transitions available. Let's go with one of these. I'm going to pick up blood dissolve. Just drag it and drop it in the center here. You will see the blood dissolves come, and now see the beauty. So you can see how it blurred the image, and they have merged into each other, making the entire video a little bit more professional. Similarly, you have a lot many options here. You have a smooth cut. Let's try smooth cut. How it works. Oh, beautiful. I like that. I also like this arrow iris. Let's put it here, and I'll show it to you. There you go. And another one of my favorite is this spiral wipe. Isn't that beautiful? So you have many options like the Venetian blind wipe. And now, as you see, I'm sure you know, it kind of rings a bell that you have seen this in some of the video or some of YouTube channels. How the video has used one of these transitions. I'll try one more. This is a circle spin. Beautiful. Again, as I said, sky is the limit. There's so many things that you can play around with just drag and drop and drag and drop in the center, and the transition is applied. That's so easy. That's so simple. So let's pick up a couple of transitions and apply everywhere. I'm going to drag and drop it here. I'm gonna drag and drop here. Wherever there are junctures, it's not necessary to have a transition all the time, but it's advisable. It looks more professional. There you go. Now, you might see that when I drop a transition here, there's nothing happening here. So let me click on this and zoom in. You can see there's nothing happening here. The transition is not taking effect. You know, it's, you know, it's not working out. That is because for two transitions to work, the video editor or the software kind of takes a couple of frames from this video and from here and then merges them together. But there are no frames available. In this case, what you usually do is you keep your mouse in the center when these two parentheses or these two brackets show up, right click and choose a six frame or a 12 frame or whatever frame dissolve that you want. I will say that it's going to trim clips, that is fine. You can trim, and there you go. So you have this transition ready now. Let me minimize this, and I'll show it to you. Let's zoom in a little bit. Yeah, there you go. Let me show it to you in slow motion. That was the transition. So now we have added transition very straightforward. It may look like a big word, but it's very easy to apply. Let's move on to the next one. Now, you can see the music is going a little bit beyond the video. So one way to control this is to bring it down here. If you don't want to do that, what you can do is you can use a blade feature or the cut feature. Click on Blade, the blade becomes red. And when you take it to any video or images, you'll see the blade appearing. And once a blade appears, just click on it. I'm going to cut here and I'm going to go back to arrow. I'll select the area I don't want and hit the delete button. Alright, so that's part two where we have controlled the music and we have controlled the music. 10. Adding logo: All right, so that's part two where we have control the music and we have controlled the music. Now, let's add the logo. So let's come in the beginning and drag and drop the logo here. Since you want the logo throughout the video, drag it till the end. So now you have the logo. Click on the logo in the Transform panel, you know, squeeze it down. This is a position. You can move it around. Let's have it on the right top. There you go. Maybe a little bit smaller here. Again, towards the right on the top, there you go. And if you see this video or this logo shows up now everywhere in the video. Keep saving this. The best way to save is press controls, or you can go to File and say Save Project. Yeah. Now, now the logo also shows up very abruptly. It is right there. You can see when you bring your mouse towards the beginning or the end of the logo, a white dot shows up. What you can do is you can just take this and drag it towards the end. What this will do is this will slowly reveal the logo. You can see it now. So you can see how the logos reveal. You can do the same towards the end, as well. So it has a professional beginning and a professional end. And, you know, I think I should look at this. The transition is really amazing. I have not used this transition much. I really like it. I should start using this more often. Control S or project save again. Keep saving. Oh 11. Zoom in and out: One that we're going to see is the transform panel. There are a lot of features available here to play around with. Let me first click on an image. Now, if you see this image, there are black spaces on left hand right hand side. These are blank spaces. To fix this, you have to click the image and zoom in. Slowly zoom in to a point where both the spaces are used. I'll just ensure that no other video has any blank spaces. Yeah, this one has a blank space. Again, select the video, go to your transform panel, and in Zoom in, you are sorted. And this one, I purposefully used horizontal or portrait image here so that we see how to fix it. Click on this. Again, zoom in as much as you want. Once those black lines disappear, yeah, I think I can stop there. And you also have an option to go up or down. What professionals usually do is they look at the horizon. It's in the center here. They try to bring the other horizon to in the center so that, you know, when you move from one MV to another, it is a smooth transition. Let's go. Great. So you can see it's really easy. It's a beautifully designed software. I also wanted to show you some more controls that you have in the transform Window. I'll do that in the next chapter. 12. Transform panel: A, so let's start with the transform button or transform area. Now, once you click on any video or image, it gives you a lot of options. The first one is Zoom, so you can zoom out or zoom in. If you have an HD image, you can zoom in a lot and, you know, the pixels will not blur out. So you can play around with that. You have position, so you can move left, right, or you can move up and down. Everything is numbers. The reason everything is numbers here is because you can be very sure. You know, if you have zoom this image at 1.81, and if you want to do the same here, you can just come here and type 1.810. And moment you click outside, you know, this is also the same level of Zoom. So when you look at a professional video, you know, you don't suddenly see a lot of Zoom and then a zoom out. It has to be consistent because everything is numbers, it's easy to manage. So we spoke about how you can move it left and right, the position up and down. You also have an option to rotate it if you want. And you can decide the pitch and the yaw. You can flip it if you want, upside down. Then you have cropping. If you have some image or stems, there's something you don't want to show. This is a left crop, it'll start let me flip it back again so that it's normal. Now, in case you make a mistake, let's say you have moved this around and you're trying to figure out how to get it back. You're struggling. Control Z is the best option. If you don't want to do that, click on this. This is the reset all. Whichever image you choose and you click this, it'll reset back to the normal. So we are back to normal. I'm going to zoom in now. I was showing you crop. So left crop will cut from left, right, we'll do that from right. Same as top. And bottom. You have smoothness. So this decides how, you know, the cut is going to work. So how smooth you want the cut to be. Yeah. Then you have dynamic zoom. If you switch this on, as the video moves, you know, the picture will slowly zoom in or zoom out. Zoom in or zoom out. Again, there are many other options available. You can use some of them. You know, I would really appreciate you play around with any of them. As I said, if you get stuck, if you make any mistakes, go back, reset all, and everything is back to normal. Let me zoom this back again. So pretty simple. Save when you click on Audio, while this was a video change, you have an option for audio. You can reduce the volume increase. You have pan, pitch, equalize a lot, many options to play around with. And if you make a mistake, the reset all button is always there as a savior. So with that, I have come to a point where basic editing skills are complete. You are at a point where you can upload the files to the media pool. You are able to put it in a sequence, add audio, add a logo, cut and delete the portions you don't want. And which is primarily video editing. I mean, and as you can see, there are a whole lot of options available. It's a huge menu. And I don't want to confuse you at this point in time. I want you to repeat this entire step first of all, on your own. Once you're done with this, go to the next level, play around a little bit, then go beyond. And I'm sure very soon you will be creating great stunning images. Now, once you're done with your editing, you can come to deliver. This is where we pack up the entire file and save it for further usage. I'll show that to you in the next chapter. 13. Rendering / Saving the video: Welcome back. In this chapter, we'll see how we save the files. As I said in the beginning, there are a lot of options for you to save depending on what is the purpose of this file. You can choose it for YouTube, imeo, Twitter, Tik Tok, Dropbox, Generic, Premiere Pro, if you only want audio and many other tools, we even have a custom where you can really choose exactly what you want if you are sure about now if you are not sure about, you know, the codec encode resolution, everything, I personally choose YouTube. It's really easy because all the presets are available and the YouTube videos are MP four format accepted by many other social media platforms. So choose YouTube. Put a title. Let's say sample one. Let's say sample 21, choose a location. And when you click on Add to Render, it's going to show up here in the job section. There you go. And then say render all. When you're going to click Render All, what this is going to do, it's going to now begin a clubbing of all the images, audio, video, logo that we have given frame by frame, and create a final stunning video which you can use for any of his social media platforms. So let's wait for the system to render. Now, my system is a little faster. It's only taking around 35 to 40 seconds. Depending on your processor, it may take a minute, two minute, maybe even four or five. While you are rendering a file, rendering a video, it is advisable not to open any other browsers or, you know, any other heavy software play games. Don't do all that. Let the system take its own space and render that file for you. Once the rendering is complete, on the right hand side, here you will see complete. And when you go back to the folder where you have, you know, asked when you go back to the location, you will see a MP four file saved for you to use. So show is completed, I'm going to go to the place where all the files are saved. If you see in the recording, this is the sample 21, and it's beautiful. It has audio. The logo reveal now comes in. This is a video. You can see the reveal of the logo. The transition should come in now. There you go. The circle transition and so on and so forth. The beautiful video is ready for you to use and share it on other platforms. As I said, the idea is to equip you with basics so that you can explore your path and learn a lot more. I don't want you to be overwhelmed with a lot of tools and technical info. I'm going to let you free. I'm going to let you play around and figure your path. I'm sure you're going to create stunning videos in the days to come. With that, I'll see you in the next chapter. 14. Final outcome: Oh M. 15. UD4UD intro outro on canva: Welcome to this chapter. Now that we know there are three parts to a video, I wanted to take some time quickly show you how you can create a very easy intro and outro. One of my go to website is Canva. I'm sure you are familiar if you're not familiar. Get familiar with it. This is a website that's going to save you a lot of time. Add that touch of professionality, which may be missing, if you do it yourself. So let's dive right in. As I said, what we're going to do is you're going to create an intro and an outrow for your set of videos. What I usually search for is YouTube Intro because YouTube dimensions the 16 by nine and the resolution is acceptable by EU Demi. So I look for YouTube Intro. Search for YouTube Intro. But if you have some more words to add, like if I am to add a mourning routine or let me just say mourning and let me see what comes through. What we are looking for are videos where you see this sign, these are paid videos. You know, in my view, there's so much content available on Canva for free. You don't need a paid one. But if you have a paid account, go for it. If you don't don't think that's a concern at all. There's so much choice. You're spoiled for choice in terms of what to pick. So what we're looking for is a video that kind of really connects with you. You think it connects with the content. So keep going. And if you see, I already have a great one. This is a great morning routine. If I keep my mouse here, it's going to show me the next slide, which is stretch your body, eat nutritious. So it kind of connects to me directly, but this one is a pro, so I'm going to skip it right now. Let me go further down. You can even remove the morning and sometimes just look at what's really available in the bundle and, you know, choose. This is the one that I have used for this course. Again, there are so many available here. You can pick and choose. One which really connects to the content. Let me go ahead and pick one and show you how to edit. So I'm going to go with this one. This looks a little jazzy, and it's free. You know, you don't see the icon here. So I'm going to click on this. When you click, it's going to show you some more options of, you know, similar options which you can pick and choose. I kind of like this one. I'm going with this, customize this template. Then it opens up your video category. So once you're here, you have a couple of options. This is your name, so I'll delete this because I don't want this to be shown here, but I can add you can add you can add your name. So let me add my name here. You can move this, make it bigger, make it smaller. You can change the font. You can do whatever you want. These are the areas you can play around with. You can change the color, underline it, change the size. As I said, change the font. There's a huge list of fonts available for you to play around with. You can intending. You can edit this content. So I can say welcome rather than saying, welcome to my channel, I'm going to say welcome to my course. And then I can play and see how this looks. No, I don't want this for 10 seconds, so I can reduce the size. I can bring it here. If you want to add another page, you can click here. There are many tools available. Just play around and you will find a good video that you can use. Once you are done with all the playing around, download from here. Go to Share. Click on Download. Choose MP four. That's the format that we're looking for. And click on download. And that's it. In a simple way, your intro is ready. Let's talk about Outro. Again, rather than saying YouTube, I'll say YouTube Outro. Rather than saying YouTube, intro, I'll say YouTube Outro. And a lot of options will start popping up. What I'm looking for is a simple thank you. And similarly, you can choose one, download and save. So with this, we are done with your intro and Otro content we already created in the last section. So all we are left is to edit it and bring all these together for each of the chapters. And that's exactly what we'll do in the next chapter. I'll see you there. 16. Video content sources: In the last video, we saw where to find Outro and intro videos. One of the best places is Canva. Similarly, let's take a quick look at where we can find other materials, apart from intro and Outro. You know, if you're looking for some content, one of my go to place is Pexels. In Pexels, you have a huge collection of copyright free images and videos. All you got to do is just write, what you're looking for. Let me type Ocean, and I'll show you where I got the videos that we used for editing from. Let's take a look. So I think these are the two videos that I've used for editing. It's pretty straightforward. Just create a login, and then you'll be able to download the videos. There's a huge collection of videos. As you can see, just for Ocean, I have 194000 photos, 46.8 thousand videos, and then some users. Yeah. Let's look at something else. Let's look at a hotel and you can see a huge collection. You can choose between photos and videos. And whenever you scroll your mouse on top of the video, it will show you the animation, how the video is. So like this one, maybe let's look at this one. Yeah. It's a one click download. You just press the button and you can see it already started downloading. Pretty straightforward. That's one of my go to places for content in between the videos. We have seen intro. We have seen where to get the outro, we have seen where to get the content. In the next video, we'll quickly see how to get background music. 17. Background music sources: Music is really important. When we sit down for video editing, sometimes we don't pay a lot of attention to music. I have heard or I have learned that a good audio is better than a good video. Please pay good attention to the audio quality and the audio itself. I'll show you some sources or one of the key sources I use for royalty free audios, and that's YouTube Music Studio. T Music Library, Google for it, go click on the first link that pops up, and there you go. I would say probably more than 30,000 audio files here. You can listen to them. You can search them here. You also have sound effect. So if you're looking for, let's say, a card drive, let's see how it sounds. I'll pause that. What else? Wooden train whistle. Interesting. You can just click here to Download. It's that simple huge collection. You know, you know, if I could let's see. What else is there. It's huge collection. I just love this page. Water can fall. You can click on Download. It just downloads right away. Sometimes these could be used as a welcome or as a background noise. It's pretty interesting, you know, the ways you can use it. But again, these are royalty free music and sound effects, which you can download. Whatever you star, can be saved in the star section, but a huge collection of music. And I'll show you one funky music as we speak. There you go. Let me click on Download or download the file. Spend some time on this portal. You will love the quantity and quality of audio files available here. With that, I'll see you in the next channel. 18. Submit your project: Don't forget to submit your final video as a project submission so that you can get your project submission match. 19. Conclusion: With that, we have come to the end of this course. I wanted to keep the course simple because video editing is an art, and I don't want you to be burdened with a lot of tools at the start. I wanted to have the right tools where you can start exploring and learn on the way. And that's why this course covers the basics for you to get started with video editing, but sky is the limit, and I'm sure you're going to go and make some stunning videos as you go along. I hope really enjoyed a short and crisp course, and you are all set to edit your next video.
