use it after knowing the small functions of Cap
Cut when we open the movie, we need to edit in cap Cut. How should we cut
out the bad part of the video and keep
only the part we want, the movie we need
to edit in cap Cut. How should we cut
out the bad part of the video and keep
only the part we want? We slide left and right in
the time line position. Drag the timeline to
the right position. Click, click, split. We will cut the video
in this position. Click on the unwanted
video clips, click delete, so we
get the part we need. Sometimes we may encounter
a split in the wrong place. Don't worry, we can undo the split or drag the
video edge position, so we can restore
part of the video. Let me tell you a
little, we can zoom in the timeline to make the
split more accurate. Before we learned how
to select the clips we need in the video
when we are editing, works often encounter the need to add a lot of
video or pictures. We need to learn
how to add media and how to adjust
the order of media. The first method can
be in the homepage. Click on the clip, select the need for more than
one movie or picture. The second way is to click on the ad media symbol
inside the clips page. To add the media we need, you can add as much media as
you want whenever you want. Look here. Cap Cut has prepared a lot of
media clips for us. You can select the media you need and add it to your movie. Here's a tip. You can adjust the duration of the picture
clip as much as you want. How do I reorder the
two media clips? Good question. We just need to hold the
clip and slide it. Then we can adjust the order
of the media as we like. You get the idea. After
adding the material we need, we often add text in
the video to enrich our video content and increase the fun and readability
of the video. How should the text be added and set after we import the video we edited in the menu bar below. Click text, choose add text, Enter text, click font. You can choose your
favorite font. Click style, you can add
different styles to the font. Click style, you can add
different styles to the font. Animation can add fun in
about animation to the text. We can also add border
effect to the text. Text is also a media, so its time can be adjusted by clicking on the text track. You can change, copy, zoom in and out of the text, as well as modify the position
and angle of the text. Cap cuts also provides
more functions for text as the function
of reading text. You can choose your favorite so and add the
sound to our video. There are also two very important features
inside the texts. Function, A feature
we use a lot. Cap Cut has prepared a
lot of fun stickers. Using stickers, we can create a lot of
interesting videos. For example, a burning flame
in the palm of your hand. Template cap cut has a lot
of predefined text effects, more efficient to
help us quickly create the content we want. Okay, Have you learned
how to use text? We often encounter switching
between multiple media. And in order to make the
video look smoother, we need to add transition
effects between multiple media. Let's take a look
at the example. We will first watch the effect
without adding transition. The switching of each video
is not very unnatural, nor is it aesthetically
pleasing. All you need to add a
transition effect to the video. Click on the symbol that adds transition effect to two videos. Wow, cap Cut prepares a lot of transition effects for us
according to the category, we can easily find
the effect we want. We can choose the most
suitable transition animation according to the content
of the two videos. We can adjust the length of the animation if we have
more than one clip, need to add transition, we can click to Apply to all. Then we can apply the transition animation to all the videos. Of course, if we want to choose different effects
for each transition, we can add different
effects for each video. Let's watch the video with
the transitions added. What do you think? Isn't it more beautiful than
without transitions? This is the application
of filtering. How's that? Did you
learn it, Bill? You must often see some videos of the screen style
is very prominent because we often
encounter the shooting of the screen is very
flat, no bright colors. The next, we will learn to use special effects and filters
to touch up our video. This lesson, we will
continue to use effects and filters to
give the videos a tweak. Let's click on Cut. Has a lot of effects for effects that can
make our videos. Let's choose the right effect. We'll choose the diamond.
Zoom in, opening and closing. The effect of the special
effect will be shown. Click on Adjust. We can make more detailed settings
for the effect. We can adjust the position
and duration of the effect. Of course, we can continue
to add other effects. We find that the first
media is not very bright. How should we adjust the
brightness of the screen? Click on the first media. Select filters. In filters, there are many
filters to choose. We can choose our
favorite and adjust the intensity of the
effect of the filter. Click Add just we can
adjust more parameters. Knowing that we have adjusted
the effect to our liking, you can make individual
adjustments for each media clip. Okay, add effects and filters to videos no matter what kind
of video surely need. Music, especially short video. Short video without
music is no sold. Usually our short video
ideas are more music based. If you are interested
in Cap Cut creator, you must have encountered
the problem that the music should not be used
for the copyright issue. I will teach you how to get the copyright correctly in
the Cap Cut Creators course. Here we start by
teaching you the way to import music
into our creations. We can click on Ad Audio
below the video track, or click on Music in the
menu bar below Select Audio. And we can choose the music we want according to the tags, or we can search for
our favorite music. Sometimes we can't find the music we want.
What should we do? We can choose to extract the music we want
from other videos. Click on the import file icon. Click on Select
Music From Movie. Select the video we saved, so the music is extracted. Click on the use icon. See we have imported the
music into our video. You ever we find the length
of the music is too short. What should we do?
In the first way, we can choose a longer music. In the second way, we can change the duration
of the media. You are the best ever been. Okay, we finished
editing our video, let's our movie, we're
done editing the video. You can share it directly to your social media. Did
you learn how to do that? Well, congratulations about to open the door to
Cap Cut editing. In this lesson, we have learned the basic editing
techniques of Cap Cut. How to add video cut video, how to add text and
funny stickers. Using effects will make
our video more lively and vivid Filters will make
our video color more bright. Learn how to use these features, and I believe you
are ready to handle your videos in social media. We can often see videos
that surprise us. For example, the cases below. Do you know how they were made? We'll learn how to make them
in detail in the Cap editing intermediate class and we will learn about the functions
used in editing. After the intermediate course, you will be able to create more interesting
videos on your own. Our intermediate course
was originally 309999, Now it's only 23 seen 90 nines. You are welcome to
subscribe to the course.
3. Short video soul - Music processing tips: Hi, welcome to the Cap
Cut editing course. At the beginning of this lesson, we're going to go through
some examples that by breaking down the cases and to learn to edit
and produce them. Our first goal is to
learn how to work with music Beat videos that we'll start by
looking at two cases after watching them. How do you feel about these two videos? The first video is
relatively simple. The second video is a
little more complex, but in fact, their
production are the same. The second video,
increased effects. It will make the
video more impact. First of all, let's
analyze the first video. In fact, it is in the music of the rhythm of the point
to change the photo. Then next we'll do a hands
on exercise on this case. First we go to the editing page. Click on Music and
import this music. We want to turn off the sound of the video to prevent
the sound of the video from interfering with the music. Try to listen to it. The next operation
is very important. We all know that music is
very important to the video. When we want to edit our work, the first thing is to
deal with the music. Most of the time our work is related to the
beat of the music. Here we need to mark
the beat of this music. Let's click on the music
track and find the beat here. Cut offers us two ways
to mark the beat. The first one is manual marking, where we have to mark the,
the music by ourselves. The second one is autogenerate, which provides us with
two markers that we can choose according to the
content of our video. Let's look at the
difference between the two markers
and auto generate. Let's see the difference between the two types of markers
and autogenerate. Let's open auto generate
and wait for a while. Then the system will provide us with two
types of markers. Now we are choosing marker two. Click on the play
button and observe this point of the marker
isn't exactly what we need. Autoet, how's that? Do you think it's what we
need? The answer is no. Let's select marker one and see if it meets
our requirements. Strangely enough, it doesn't exactly match our
requirements either. What should we do
here? We need to manually process mark
one or mark two. We find that the first part of marker one meets
our requirements, but the second part is missing, so we need to add the latter
part of the mark here. We need to listen while
we add new markers. Once we've finished marking,
we'll check it again. Now that we have finished
marking the music, we can work on our material. Let's start with
the first half of the clip by taking one
video from our clip. Go ahead and intercept the second video,
removing the excess. Do you see the problem? What if the second video is too short? Do we change the video? No, Let's click on the second
video and choose Speed. We can adjust the speed of the video to solve this problem. There are more interesting ways, play with the speed
function of the video. We will learn more about
this function later. After adjusting the
first two videos, we continue to add the required material
and adjust the time. Okay, let's check the result. Great, let's continue to add
the appropriate animation. I know that is. I'm no, I'm no, I'm not. I'm not. I I met and add special effects. Make our image look more dynamic Petnet. Well, let's take a look
at the whole video. It looks very good. Okay, we've finished editing this video now. Do you remember this video? Now, do you know how
this video was edited? We're going to put this case in the sixth lesson on
effects analysis. In the next lesson,
we'll learn how to make a video
with transitions.
4. Transition: Hi, welcome to the Cap
Cut editing course. In the last lesson,
we learned to make a video with musical beats. In this lesson, we will learn another very popular and
interesting editing method. Interesting transitions,
and most importantly, the difference
between before and after To make a
lasting impression, then we have to choose the most suitable music and material according to
what we want to express. Let's look at a very
interesting video. Wow, very cool. Let's watch another video that
is very popular on Tiktok. Very funny. We're now going
to work on the first video. We are now working
on the first video. After importing the video
and extracting the music, we need to mark the
beat of the music. Listen to the music and
find the beat point. Find the beat point
and add beat. Import the video we prepared, drag the timeline to find
the best transition point. Click Split and delete
the unwanted parts, But we find that the
duration of the video is not consistent with
the duration of the beat. Drag the edges of the video, adjust the duration of
the video so that the end of the video aligns
with the first tempo point. Next, we need to process
the second video. The effect we want for the
second video is to have a faster part of
the hand movement and a slower part of the back. Okay, then we need to process the speed of the
video as we need it. Select the second video. Click speed, select
curve, click custom. Go to the edit function.
Drag the time line to where the hand is
raised, and click at beat. Increase the speed
of the front part and decrease the speed
of the back part. Adjust the speed of the video
and select better quality. It will take a little while for Cap Cut to process the video. If it doesn't achieve
the desired effect, you can continue to process
the speed of the video. Okay, adjust the length
of the video to align the beat points all. Now let's process
the third video, the same way we process
the beat of the video. Well, let's preview the video. What do you think? It
looks good, right? Finally, let's add a white flash to the second and third video. We'll add the right
filters to them. Why not? You? Why not? Okay, let's take a look at our video. Very cool. Do you remember
our second video? So you know what to do with it? Why don't you try your hand at editing this video yourself. Oh, I are. I'm going to leave you with
an assignment to analyze, create the following video. Okay, in this lesson, we learned how to edit
a transition video. In the next lesson, we'll learn how to make a speed
change video.
5. Advanced use tips for video speed: Hi, Welcome to the Cap
cut editing course. In the last lesson, we learned to make a transitions video. In this lesson, we will learn a very cool kind of editing
variable speed video. Let's look at the case study. In both cases, the speed
function in cut is a so that the speed of the video is
matched with the rhythm of the music to produce
a stunning effect. In the end, there are
two types of speed. And in normal mode, you can only evenly adjust
the speed of the video, but in curve, you can adjust
it as much as you want. We can choose according
to our actual needs. Let's go back to cap cut and
make this video together. We imported the video footage
in audition, the music, Extract them out. Next we need to mark
the beat of the music. You can use manual marking
or use automatic marking. Be sure to check the
marking for accuracy. Once it's done, you must be careful when dealing
with unfamiliar music. And double check to make sure the tempo markings
are exactly right. After finishing marking
the music tempo, we import the video clip. We delete the unwanted video, turn off the sound of
the original video, click Curve mode, select Custom, and enter the edit interface. Next, we need to have
patience to adjust, because the time we prepared
the material is very short. We will reduce the
speed of the video to find the location of
the rhythm point, reduce the speed behind the
rhythm point to the minimum. After adjusting the
speed of the video, we must choose better quality. This will make our
video smooth after we reduce the speed weight for
cap cut to process the video. Once it's done, let's
preview the first video and check if the speed is reduced at the
rhythm point screen. At the position of
the rhythm point. Okay, no problem. Next we say method to
process the video behind. When making a
variable speed video, we don't to choose
too short clip. Too short video will
make our editing more cumbersome and more
prone to errors. Okay, we processed all the
video footage at speed, keeping the end of the audio and the end of the
video consistent. Let's preview the entire video. There's still a
little problem with the whole video because the
video we used are too short. Sure, you don't choose
clips that are too short. In order for us to make the
descending part stand out, we need to add a filter
to the descending part. Choose one that is different
from the first half. Adjust the duration and
position of the filter so that the filter only has
an effect on the slow video. Check the effect, okay? No, then we just need to
duplicate the filter and apply it separately to the back part of the
slowed down video. Pay attention to
ad, just the time and speed down part
to keep the same, check it out. The effect is great. After using the filter, we continue to add effects to the video to make the picture
more lively and vivid. You can experiment with
different special effects to make the picture
more dynamic. It is important to note that the effect we are
expecting is the one that produces the effect once at the location
of the tempo point. So we need to be careful when adjusting the parameters
of the effect and also adjust the time of the
effect to the length of time it takes to
produce one effect. After choosing favorite effect, we just need to copy
it and move it to the back of the slow
down video section, keeping it in line with the duration of the
slow down video. Okay, we have
finished slowing down the video and added filters and effects to the slowed
down part of the video. Let's take a look at
what the overall effect looks like. That's great. We're done with this
variable speed video. Are you learn, Let's share
it in our social media. Wow, the effect is good. In this case, we are mainly based on the change
of music tempo, using speeds function to
complete a very cool effect. In the following example, we will continue to use the speeds feature and
the text feature, add more fun and
playfulness to our video. Before we edit the second video, let's summarize the
functions of speed. Video speed is divided into
two modes, normal and curve. Normal mode is to slow down
the whole video evenly. Curve mode can speed up or slow down a
section of the video. It's more flexible and
personalized in curve mode. Cap Cut has prepared a lot
of preset modes for us. You can try to use them all. You will find a lot
of hot videos in Tiktok which use
these preset modes. Of course, we have to be very careful when we
adjust them manually, because we always need the video and the
music to be unified. Well, let's take a look
at the second video. So cool. Right? In this video, the key frames feature
is also used to give a zoom in effect at the
location of the tempo point. Key framing is a very
important feature in editing and the use of
keyframes is complex. So we'll go over it in the advanced cap cut editing lesson. In this case, we will
mainly review the speeds feature and use it in
conjunction with combining text. We'll see that in
a second video, we've used se effects, filter transitions and text. Is it going to be
hard? Let's think about what it consists of. First of all, it's shifting
the speed of the footage and making the shifted
video match the music. And then the rest is
about adding effects, filters, and text to the
text at the tempo point. How about that? Do
you still think it's hard follow me to
edit this video? It's incredible. Hurry
up and share him in your social media and
enjoy the compliments. In this lesson, we will learn the speeds feature
and go through two case studies to learn and review the speeds feature
and how to use it. Follow us step by step. Did you learn it? You will
need to practice each function over and over again until you become very proficient
in using them. In the next lesson,
we will learn another very important
function in cut overlay.
6. Overlay-Important features of video clips: Hi, welcome to the Cap
Cut Editing course. In the last lesson,
we learned to use the speed of the video
to create cool effects. In this lesson,
we're going to learn a very important feature of Cap Cut overlay.
What is overlay? If you're familiar
with Photoshop or any other graphic
design software, you should know what layers are. Overlay is like layers. In graphic design software, we treat the cell phone
screen like a canvas. We can add a material
to the canvas. The effect of the, when we add more material
to the canvas, then the effect of the material when we add more
clips to the canvas, then it will show us many clips. At the same time, we can adjust the position
and size of each clip. So how do you add an
overlay to a cap cut? We can convert the added clip to an overlay or add an overlay clip to
the overlay function. Let's take a look at an example. Wow, this is a great
video, isn't it? Let's follow along and edit. Before we begin, let's analyze the structure
of the video. All photos are displayed in a sequence of 9 bars
by the music rhythm. The second half is a
very simple sequence of photographs that
follow Music rhythm. Okay, with the clear
production logic, we can start the production. First of all, we first prepare
a nine lattice picture. The use of nine lattice
picture is in order to facilitate the
positioning of our photos. Next, we still need
to extract the music. First, click on the ad click button, add a photo, click on the photo, and convert the photo
to overlay See. The preview window now shows the result of two photos
at the same time. Now we need to crop the
photo and move it to the position of the first square and the nine square grid. Next, we add the remaining
eight photos in the same way. Careful to place the photos in order in the
nine square grid. Okay, the photos
are all processed. Let's adjust the duration
of the photos in the overlay picture
with white background. Resize it to cover
the whole screen and delete the nine
frames of photos. Note that the white
background picture should be placed
on the main track. Well, let's process the music and mark the tempo of the music. The rhythm of this
music is very obvious. Let's just mark it and
check it at the end. If it's complex music, we need to mark it carefully with the music taking care of. The next step is that
we just need to create the effect of displaying
the photos in sequence. Here comes the
question. How do we create the effect of displaying
the photos in sequence? Watch my operation carefully. Let's stop here for a moment
and recall the steps I took. First, we need to
adjust the length of the white background
image of the main track. In the second step, we need to adjust the timings of
all the pictures in the overlay and get them aligned to the last
music tempo point. In the third step, we'll take the pictures in order
of where they start, align them in order to
the music rhythm point. This way we get a video
that shows the photos and sequence and precisely matches
the rhythm of the music. Okay, let's take a
look at the results. Wow, we did it. The latter part of the video is very simple. Just add material aligned
to the rhythm of the music. I won't demonstrate here.
You can do it right? How about the overlay
function? Did you learn it? There's a lot more to
overlay and we'll teach you more about it in the advanced
cap cut editing class. In the next lesson, we'll learn how to play
with special effects.
7. Use mask to control the screen: Hi, welcome to Cap
Cut Editing lesson. In this lesson, we will learn another very important
feature of Cap Cut mask. If you're familiar with graphic design software
such as Photoshop, you should be very familiar with masks which are like a
mask in front of an image. And you can show a certain
part of the image as you want. We have a more intuitive
understanding of the application of mask
in videos through cases. What to faci. Amazing clip, right? Let's go back to Cut. Click on the footage and the
mask is in this position. Cap cut has prepared six
shapes of mask for us. Split film, strip,
rectangle, heart and star. The gray area indicates the display area
of the screen and the black area indicates the
area that is not displayed. The first one is split
where a straight line separates the area that is displayed from the
area that is not. Look at this arrow,
it's for feathering. Pull it to adjust the
feathering strength. It's the same effect
as photo film strip, circle rectangle, heart star, all operate the same. Two fingers can
contract or expand the area and one finger
can move the area. There is a special
function in the rectangle. Drag the fan icon, you can adjust the rounded
corner of the rectangle. Look at this feature, invert, click on it, and you will
find two area changes. Okay, we already know
the six shapes of mask. So let's go back
to the first case. Think about how the video
effect is achieved. The effects in the video were created using film
strip and overlay. Okay, let's go back
to the cap cut. First we import the video, extract the music, and mark
the rhythm of the music. Then we import the first
video we have prepared. Cut the right amount of time, adjust the video length
to the fifth beat point. Delete unwanted material. Turn off the video.
Sound Select the video. Find the mask in
the menu bar below. Click film strips rotate with two fingers to adjust
the mask angle to 75 and move the mask to
the left with one finger. Okay, so now we
have a mask effect. Click Copy, Click Overlay to convert the copied video
to the overlay layer. And align the previous video. Select the second video. Click on the mask again and drag the mask into place
with one finger. Adjust the appropriate gap. See that's what we did
with the second mask. Then do the same for the
third and fourth fragments. Okay, we're done.
Next, we need to align each picture with
the rhythm of the music. And align the rhythm
markers in order. Well, check it. All right, let's go ahead and animate
the four segments. Select the quick flash effect. Look at the effect, it's great. Now let's move on
to the next part. Copy the previous clip, click, replace, and select
the second video clip. Look, this clip has replaced
the original footage. Replace the following three fragments with the same method. It should be noted that the replacement fragments need to be completely consistent, otherwise it will lead to
inconsistent pictures. Let's watch the finished
clip again on the facia. Here we go. Keep repeating
the steps until you are done. Okay, that's all done.
Let's check it again. Face, see the problem. The rhythm and the graphics are out of sync
somewhere, right? We zoom in on the timeline. Have you found the problems? The musical rhythm points are not aligned at the
end of the clip, then we just need
to reposition them. Once you've adjusted
it, check it again. Tua, that's great. That concludes this
video case study reviewing the features
used in this case. The first is the use of masks to adjust the display
range of the screen and the use of overlay
and music rhythm to achieve a sequential
display effect. Let's move on to
the second case. The difficulty of the video is the processing of the
first four paragraphs, and the last four
paragraphs are very simple. Okay, Let's analyze the pictures in the first four paragraphs. Separately, we compare
the four paragraphs and the structure
is the same, right? Gray tone, background text
and color display area. Okay, when we get to the
composition of the screen, let's go back to the cap cut. First we import the video, extract the music, and mark
the rhythm of the music. Then we import the
prepared video footage and align the end of the video with the
third rhythm point. Make a copy of the material
and move it into the overlay. Keep it consistent
with the first clip. Select the end of the video
in overlay, click Mask. Select the rectangle. Move the rectangle
with one finger and click the keyframe button. Move the timeline to the
start position of the video. Move the rectangle to
the edge position. And cap cut will automatically
open the key frame. Once that's done,
we copy it and move the copied video to the
bottom and align it. Click, replace, and
select the black image. You get a black rectangle.
Why do you need this? Keep watching. Select the
black rectangle. Click Mask. Click, adjust, enter the edit
page. Adjust the feather. This gives us a black rectangle
with feathered edges. Next, we will change the layer order of
the black rectangle. Wow, that's amazing. Next we added a video with text prepared in advance
into the overlay. Zoom in and cut to
the right width. Change the layer
order of the text. You can also change
the blend mode of the text layer to make
it look more uniform. Look, we're done
editing the first part. Next we continue to make the following parts
in the same way. Let's do a quick clip. Little little, I love you. Up, up, up. I can remember from bore I hear he love I love you lot. I love you. I remember being from I I I Okay, let's add a
filter for each video. Note that we can only add filters to the material after
selecting the material. Be sure to select the material first and then
select the filter. Allows the filter to work only
on the selected material. Well, we added special effects to the video to
make it livelier. Then the later part of the
production is completed. The material is imported. The length of the
material is edited with more musical rhythm and
the transfer is completed. Check it. It's pretty cool. In this lesson we learned
about the use of masks. We'll be using masks a
lot in our Re editing, so please practice after
class skilled use of masks. Next time we'll look at another
common feature cut out.
8. Keyframes - Unparalleled functionality: Hi, welcome to Cap
Cut, Advanced Editing. In the last lesson, we learned the important
function of cut mask. In this lesson, we will learn a very important function
in video clips, keyframes. Keyframes are often
used in video clips. We learned that a video is
actually made up of pictures, so the pictures are
what we call frames. A keyframe is one or more of the most important images in a piece of paper that
makes up a video. It's kind of hard to
understand, right? Let's take a look at the effect of keyframes through the case. Interesting in this case is the frequent use of key
frame control screen. To achieve such an effect. To use the key frame, we need to know where the
keyframe is and the keyframe button will appear only after the
material is selected. Keyframe commonly
used six methods. One control the volume. Import a piece of audio, mark the rhythm of the
audio at each mark point, type in key frames and at
every keyframe interval, turn the volume down to zero. It was like this and
now it's like this. Two subtitles color gradient. If the text in the
starting position of the text to hit
the key frame, the next position to change
the text to other colors, see the effect three
text scanning effect. Import white text and import
red text overlay type, taking care to make
sure the text position is the same keyframe, the starting position
of the red text. Add the mask mirror mask to reduce the size and
angle of the mask. Drag it to the
front of the text. Slide the timeline
and drag the mask to the end of the text in
the appropriate position. Look at the effect fo
let the mask move. Import a video keyframe,
the beginning of the video. Use the mask, select
the circle mask and change the mask size at different
points in the timeline. Look at the effect five, control the adjustment
parameters. Import the video. Hit three
key frames on the video. Enlarge the video in the
middle of the key frame, and adjust the video brightness. Flash white and enlarge
the effect appears. Six simulate the mirror effect. Add two key frames in the video type and the method
at the second key frame, or reduce the video,
the effect of simulating the
enlarged lens appears. Here we have listed six commonly used key
frame use methods, the above small cases. We also use the mask
when using the keyframe. Don't worry mask we will learn in detail in
the next class. Let's go back to the case at
the beginning of the video. First, we still need
to extract the music from the video and label
the rhythm of the music. Then import the
prepared photo footage. Adjust the order of
the photos and align the time of the first photo with the position of the rhythm. Change. Adjust the second photo to align the time to
the end of the music. Let's check for accuracy. Okay, no problem, but we found that the proportions
weren't quite right. So we cropped the photo, then painted all
over the painting. Now let's start editing the
first part of the video. If you recall the case, there are two photos at
the same time, right? How to display two
photos at the same time? Use overlay features. We copied the second photo, switch him into the overlay and align it with
the first photo. Move the photos in the
overlay out of the frame and close to the first photo
with no gaps between them. Next, we need to create the
effect that the photo enters. This step is achieved by
using key frame functions. Let's pause for a moment to
review what key frames do. Key frames record changes in interframe positions
and parameters. Here we need to achieve the effect of dragging
the photo in. So we open the key frame
at the start position, move the photo to
another position. Open the key frame again, and this will achieve the effect of dragging the photo in. In this case, we have two photos that need to be moved
at the same time. In the operation, we
need to make sure that the two photos are still close together at the position
of the key frame. Okay, once we know how it works, it will be easy and
efficient to actually do it. We select the first photo in the at the music marker,
open the keyframe. Click on the second
photo again to open the keyframe so
that we make sure that the keyframe position of the two photos is the same.
At this point in time. When you're done, drag the
timeline a little move, the position of the
photo and cap cut will automatically open
the keyframe for us. We click on another
photo in the track. Again, move the photo and fit
the two photos completely. Do the same with the
following steps. Here. Here us us. All right, key frames are
done. Let's check the video. That's great. Now
we just need to add some special effects
to the video to make it more
vivid and creative. You don't need to move
the effects I use. You can choose the effects you like. The heart. Heart. The heart B. A. All right, let's have a look at our work. That's great. Now that
we're done with this case, let's just review what we've
learned in this lecture where we've talked a lot
about the use of key frames. We need to know what
keyframes are and how to use them due to the
update of cap cut. When using keyframes
to adjust parameters, we need to enable key frames
in the parameters page. Otherwise, the
adjusted parameters will be applied to
the entire segment. We have explained the
common methods of keyframes through
six small cases. Please contact the six
methods of use after class to know very clearly
how the key frame is applied. In the next lesson,
we will learn another very important
feature of cap cut mask.
9. Effctes: Hi, welcome to the cap
cut editing course. In the last lesson,
we learned about the very important feature of
cap cut picture in picture. In this lesson, we will
learn about effects. Sometimes we need to add
fun effects to our picture. That's when we need
to use effects. In the previous lessons, we have used very many effects. So why do we need
to learn effects? Good question. The
effects we used in the previous lessons were
applied to the whole screen. But when we open
the effects panel, you will find that there
are several other effects, body effects, photo
effects, AI images. Let's take a look
at some examples. They're pretty funny, right? Let's analyze the first video. It looks very
complicated, right? Actually, it is just done using the effects
inside Cap Cut. Very simple. Follow me
to make this video. We'll start by
importing this video, extracting the music
from the video. Next we need to mark
the beat of the music. Let's do it quickly here. I think you should be
familiar with this step. Next, we import a photo. Adjust the duration of the photo to match the
duration of the music, complete unwanted video clips. The next step is to add
effects to the imported photo. Let's pause here. Let's take a closer look at
special effects. Cap Cut has four different
special effects for us. Video effects, body effects, photo effects, and AI images. Let's start with video effects. We can see that Cap Cut has prepared a lot of
video effects for us. You can choose any special
effects you like according to our needs and adjust the parameters and
duration of the effects. We've used video effects many
times in previous lessons. I believe you are already very familiar with it, body effects. We can understand this as effects that work on the
body part of the clip. Cap cut has prepared
a lot of effects for us and by clicking on
the categories at the top, we can easily find the
effects that come to mind. By clicking on the effects icon, we can see the effect directly. Click on Adjust to enter the
edit page of the effect. We can adjust the parameters to achieve the effect you want. Photo effects, we can
understand this as special effects that
only work on photos. Cap Cut has prepared a
lot of effects for us. And compared to the
other two effects, photo effects have a
lot fewer effects. But we can still use
them to make fun videos. Do you remember case two? It was made with photo effects. Ai images. If you are
familiar with mid journey, you should be familiar
with this function. This function we
do not use often. If you are interested,
you can try to write the keywords to
generate fun photos. Okay, after listening
to my explanation, you should have an idea about the function of special effects. Let's go back to the case. Let's choose the
right body effects. Here we choose clone Jutsu because this effect can just match the
rhythm of our music. We adjust the parameters so that the effects match
our music exactly, Then we move to
the second effect. The same method is
used for the next, where we need to adjust the timing and position
of the effects over and over again until we have adjusted to the
effect we want the most. Well, we've added all
the effects we need, and we've adjusted
the duration and position of the effects
to the desid effect. Let's take a look at the effect. It's great. Okay, we're done
editing the first case. Did you get anything out of it? In this case, we used a lot of special effects to
enrich our picture. Special effects will be
used a lot in our editing. One question for
you. Last lesson, we looked at overlays. How do I add different
effects to each overlay? Please practice more after the lesson to find the
answer to this question. Next, we'll move on to the second clip we
are watching at once. Okay, now doesn't that
make this video so easy? Find the rhythmic
point of the music. We just need to add photo
effects to two photos, and we are done here. I quickly edited, I'm sure
you can do it quickly. These are so cool, right? In fact, all these
complicated looking videos are actually effects that
Cap Cut has prepared for us. As long as we apply them, We're going to take a look at each of these
effects one by one, and see how they work has
prepared many effects for us. We can choose the right
effects according to your creativity and finish
a very creative video. Please go and practice
playing with these effects. After class, I believe you can make a very creative video.
10. cutout- Magic trick: Hi, welcome to Cap Cut Editing. In this lesson, we will learn another important
feature cut out. If you're familiar
with Photoshop, you're no stranger to
image manipulation. We use software algorithms to separate the subject we
need from the material. Illustrate the function of
cutout through an example. Let's look at this case. Shut out. Okay, what do you think? The first example
looks pretty cool and it's done using
cutouts functionality. The second example uses cutouts, color matting feature
to cut out text. Let's take a look at what cutout features Cap Cut has
in store for us. Remove background customized
cutout Chromickey. Go to remove Background Cap Cut will automatically remove
the background for us. Click Turnoff Cut Out to remove the Background click
Cut Out stroke, you can add the
appropriate stroke. Customize cutout
with a quick brush. Apply the part you
want to take out with a single finger cap cut will automatically apply
the main part for us, but this feature requires a fee. You need to become
a cap cut member. Click the brush. We can manually
draw the required part. Slide the size of
the brush below. You can adjust the
size of the brush. Click Erase to clear
the smeared area. Cut out stroke. Add
stroke to the matting. Okay, we know what cutout does, so let's go back
to the first case. First, import the video, extract the music
from the video, and mark the rhythm
of the music. Then import the prepared
photo and adjust the photo length to align
the second rhythm point. Copy the second photo, move it to the overlay track, and do the same for
the later photos. Align it with the second
musical rhythm point, and at the end with the
third rhythm point, select the photo in the overlay, click Cut, and then
select Delete Background. So we've got independent
character material. Let's do the same thing
with the next photo. There's a problem,
the characters are not completely
from the background. Now we need to manually separate the
character completely. Use a brush to
apply what we need. This allows the character to stand apart from the background. Okay, with that out of the way, let's move on to
a photo. Shut up. Shut out. I, I, I Okay, we're done
with all the photos. We'll add an entrance animation to the photos in the overlay. And here we'll select the
animation we'll throw in. Well, let's check it. No, it was great. We then added special effects to the video to make
it more dynamic. No, I can remember coming from a boat. I care. Hello, shut out. Shut out. Shut out. Let's go over it again. Shut out, that's great. So we're done with the case. Now let's review this case. In this case, we mainly used Remove Background and
customized cutout. And remove Background
will quickly help us achieve the goal using the
customized cutout feature. Let's do the matting manually. Next, we will introduce
through a case study. Chroma key is mainly used
as the background of simple characters and
objects such as solid color, background light, green screen. Click to enter the chroma
key settings page. Move the color picker to select the color
we want to remove. We can achieve the
desired effect by adjusting the intensity
and shadow adjustment. Let's go back to case two. The video is composed
of three parts. They should be like
this, the blue sea, the text, and the sea
under the sunset. Very simple video structure, so we need to cut
out the text layer. And that completes
the video structure. Let's get back to Cup cut. The first step we
need to deal with is the blue ocean and
the text section. Import the video, add text
and select the text style. Change the color of
the text to red. Why change the color
of the text to red? Since there is no red in
the blue ocean material. Change the text color to red to better extract the text
color and remove the color. Adjust the time of the text. Mark the key frame again at
the beginning of the text. Move the timeline to the middle. Enlarge the text Cap Cut automatically marks
the key frames for us. Move the timeline again
to the end of the text. Zooming in on the text until
it covers the entire screen. Cap cut automatically
marks the keyframes for us export this video. Next, it is very simple. We import the video
again. Click Overlay. Add the video we just created
into the overlay track. Adjust the length
of the two videos. Select the video in the
overlay and click Cut Out. Select Chroma. Hey, move the
color picker and select red. Click intensity to maximize, and click shadow to maximize. Okay, let's see the effect. Wow, very nice. In this lesson, we explain the function and application of cut
out in detail. Next time I'll share
advanced ways to use text.
11. Advanced use of text: Hi, welcome to Cap
Cut editing class. In last class, we learn the function of cut
out in Cap Cut. In most cases we will use text, which will tell the
audience what we want to express
more intuitively. We'll get a lot of
fun ways to show it. Let's look at the
case another minute. Pretty cool, right? This is the effect of common
lyrics on Tiktok. Before we start working
on this example, let's look at some other
common ways of writing the first text combined
with material play. This is a very common title, is the use of text and material
collocation to produce, import a video, add text and choose the appropriate
font for the text. Then add the dissolve
animation to the problem. And adjust the time
of the animation. Then we import the smoke
material into the overlay. Adjust the blend
and select filter. Okay, done V. In this case, we
use a mixture of text and other functions
to achieve this effect. Import a white image, create a new text, and change the text color to black or dark. Adjust the duration, and export
the video for later use. Import the material,
copy the material, and move the material
into the overlay. Click on the footage in
Overlay, Select Cut Out. Remove the background, so we get a separate video of
the character walking. Import text Video into overlay. Click Blend and select Slide. Click on Layer and place the text layer behind
the cutout layer. This will give you characters
in front and text in back. Open the key frame at the
beginning of the video. Click mask, select, split, Rotate the mask and
move the timeline so that the mask always follows the movement
of the character. Okay, so we're done
with this effect, mirror effect of text, how the mirror effect
of this text is made. In fact, the production
method is very simple. Import a black image,
enter the text, Adjust the font and
size of the text so that the length of the text stays the same as the image. Add this symbol to the
text and enlarge it. The purpose of this symbol is to block the use of the text, because our text needs
to appear upward, keep the length of the
symbol the same as the text. Add entry and exit
animation For text, select both, dissolve and change the animation length
to 2 seconds. Open the key frame at the first animation position and the second animation
start position. Drag the text under the symbol at the beginning and
end of the text. Finally, adjust the color
of the symbol to black. So we have video footage of text that appears up and
disappears down. Export the video. Okay,
import the video of the lake. Click Overlay to import the
text video you just exported. Click Blend. Select Filter. So we can remove the
black from the position, the text so it's
close to the lake. Copy the text video and
move it to the next layer. Select the layer
you just copied. Click Edit, select rotate
and rotate It finally, click mirror and move it to the position below
the first text. Look, now we have a
reflection of the text. Select the copied
text layer again. Click Mask, select Split, and rotate it, dragging the arrow symbol above to
increase the feather value. Okay, so we have the
reflection of the text. Text hollowing effect. Remember the text
effects from last time. I think you must
have learned above. We learned how to use texts.
Do you see the problem? We all export the
text video after the text editing is
complete and then import the text video as video into our editing work.
Why are you doing this? Effects can applied
directly to text and cap cut cannot currently adjust
the layer order of text. The advantage of exporting text as a text video is
that we can use both the editing function of the text and the
effect on the text. Let's go back to the
case from the course. Let's take this video as an example and break it
down and analyze it. First of all, the screen is composed of four
layers, background, hollow text, character
shadow, and text background. We just need to find
the right background. We need to first make the font and animation part
of the hollow text. As the hollow text layer, the figure silhouette
can be done directly in the overlay layer. Finally, the text is directly
used as the text layer, which makes up the four
parts of the screen. All we have to do
is edit four layers and finally blend them
together to finish the video. Here we're going to use the stroke function of the
text to make the hollow text. Use the adjustment
function of the picture to achieve the effect of
the figure silhouette. I believe you can do it. Remember to submit your
completed results to me. I will comment on
your home page. In our next lesson, we
will learn to analyze video structure and make it through popular Tiktok videos.
