By the end of this class, you will have a finished video, whether that's for YouTube for your business or just for your family. But first, Hi, I'm fully buck analysis. I'm a content strategist and a teacher of over 40 thousand students online. This number only happened because a video, since I was 12 years old that I started recording videos, learning camera things, learning how to communicate my message through video format. Really, using this means to communicate what I really feel and also to teach others to do the same. If you always wanted to dive deep into the video marketing world. I really think this class is going to be very useful for you to make the first step. It will take you from the whole journey, from researching your audience to finding inspiration, to getting hundreds of content ideas to prepare in your script, filming and finally, editing the video in all of these lessons are simplified so you can start today and if you want, finished tomorrow. And if you are ready to dive deep into video marketing, makes sure to continue watching and I'm really excited to teach this class. 2. Video Marketing is EXPLODING: Hi and thank you so much for joining this class. I'm really excited to start this journey with you. If you are familiar with any of my available classes, you know that I always like to give you a compelling reason to continue watching this class. And hopefully it will not be hard to convince you that video marketing is definitely something that you should invest on. Video marketing is definitely growing tremendously in terms of popularity, youtube has an astonishing 2 billion active members every single month, and it's the second most popular platform in the world. Then we have other numbers like 78% of people watch videos every week and fifty-five percent watch videos every day. You're probably counting towards this statistics already. Now focusing a little bit more on the business perspective, we see that 78% of businesses report getting more traffic after they invest in video. 68% of marketers also say that video has a higher ROI then Google ads and YouTube has by far the highest ROI for video, followed by Facebook and Instagram. And well, regardless of whether you like it or not, Tiktok is growing. End-user spent an average of 52 minutes every single day on the platform. After all of these numbers, whether you are just creating content for your personal brand, or you're looking to build and expand your business. Video marketing and creating content In video is definitely a good way in a safe bet. Because honestly there are so many types of videos that you can create that you will never, ever be disappointed because video, so you can create costumer testimonials, you can create reviews. You can create how-to videos in educational content, entertaining content, behind the scenes footage. You can show your events, you can show your life. So there are no limits to the amount of information you can fit inside a video. In my case, I've been using video since I was 12 years old. 12 years old. I created a makeup YouTube channel. Thankfully, it's not unlikely. But well, I used video in that sense. Then when I was at high school, I started delivering some assignments using video, and we always had the highest grade. Then. I now use video to create online courses, to communicate with my clients, to basically talk on Instagram all day. I do basically most of my work through video because video marketing is growing exponentially in, there is no sign that it will stop any soon. You should also invest on these type of media because you will see results. And if you are still asking, Okay, I get it that it's growing, but why is it so, why are people so interested in consuming and producing video content? Well, first, it's highly engaging. So it's much more easier for especially younger generations to watch a video than to read texts, because our attention spans are decreasing with time, video becomes more compelling. Second, video is a great way to build more trust with people, because especially few show your face. You immediately build more trust and show more credibility and expertise. In the third reason is that videos are very easy to be shared and spread across different social media platforms. And so it's very easy for a video to go viral instead of, let's say, a text or a poem. And so we're really hope all of these reasons make you excited enough to jump on this journey with me and really diving deep on how to create good videos, whether you're doing it for yourself or for your business. So let's jump right into the next lesson. 3. Find your Viewers Online! : Welcome to this lesson about finding your ideal audience. The reason why this matters, and please don't think this will be a boring lesson because this is actually very important. And I think that the people who skip this more introspective process and reflection really struggle more with the process of starting in recording the video. So here's an example. I'm recording this video right now for you. Now, I don't exactly know who is on the other side of the screen, but I have an idea. I know more or less who is my target audience. I know their interests, I know what types of things they usually do on their free time. Sometimes they consume educational content like this one. I also know usually their age, so in-between what ages they are at and also some of the most common in places where they live in the world. And this helps me to create better content for this audience. Because if I have no idea of who is going to consume my videos, I probably will not communicate the best possible way for that person because I'm not talking with a 12-year-old. Probably maybe a 12-year-old is watching this in high, but most likely it is not. Because of it. I know more or less how to adapt my speech, my language, my communication skills, to the type of audience I'm talking with. This is very, very important, especially if you are doing this to generate more leads to improve your business, to get more clients because you know more or less who your clients are, right? So I have a couple of questions that should really help you to define exactly whom you are talking with. This will help you craft your message and the future content that we'll talk in the next lessons. So you can actually align with your audience and their needs. To the first question is really, what are the goals of your ideal viewer? What are some of their desires? So what do they want? What are they looking for? What's stopping them from reaching their main goals? Here I highly recommend you to be very, very specific. And try to put yourself in the mind of your viewer into really think of what is preventing them from reaching what they want to reach. Then you should also know more or less their age, their gender, their nationality, their education level, and perhaps income level if that is important for the type of content you are creating. Now the next question is, where does your audience usually Hangout? Are they on Facebook? Most of the times? Are they on Instagram? Are they on tiktok, are they on LinkedIn? And it's really crucial to understand this because it will help you to really be where your costumers also are. And that's, is essential because if you're posting content on tiktok and your audience is not there, obviously you will not have the results. You really want to. Finally, the last question is, where are your ideal viewers finding you? Are they finding you through social media, are defining you through YouTube, through Google, or directly through your website. So it does not matter at this stage what really matters isn't understanding exactly where they come from or if you have not started videos yet, where do you think they might possibly come? This is crucial because they are mainly coming from Facebook. Perhaps you need to have a different approach than if they would come directly from Instagram. I highly recommend you to answer these questions in detail. Really think and do your research because they will definitely help you to later come up with content ideas. They will help you create the scripts and also to film with ease because you know to whom you are talking to. Well, I could do a whole class about clarity, marketing persona's research and so on. But this should be enough for this stage of the process. So do the exercises and let's continue to the next class. 4. Get Ideas for your Video Content: Hi and welcome to this video where we're going to talk about coming up with ideas for your videos. I actually have way too excited for this video because I'm basically an ideation nerd. I absolutely love to come up with ideas and you a lot of research to generate amazing content ideas that would later turn into great videos. This first video I'm going to share with you my favorite ways of getting content ideas. And basically this whole video will serve as an inspiration because I really want you to have all of these tools in your toolkit. You never struggled with finding your next brilliant idea because you have all of these create sources that will inspire you for creating content in coming up with a big list of ideas. And honestly, I have the opinion that lack of ideas should never be the reason why you are not creating video content. Because ideas are everywhere and it's free to combine ideas to start things, to maybe still a few things from here and there. I mean, it's not actually stealing, It's just taking some inspiration, but really ideas should never be the problem. So let's jump right into the computer because I wanted to show you how I would do this myself. Now welcome to my screen and we're going to start by using Google searches to find keyword ideas. And I know Google is the first most obvious way of finding ideas. But I really think that you might need to actually use it to be able to see what other people are creating and to get some inspiration from it. So let's start. So let's say that I wanted to find some marketing strategies for 2022. So I'm going to search for marketing strategies 2022. This would be basically the type of content I'm going to create. And y going through Google, I can see the types of headlines that pop up. This could eventually be future pieces of content. So 19 best marketing strategies, also like this title. So it's kind of like Todd takes to add to your marketing strategy. Or more specifically, more marketing strategies for startups. This could be a potential video for me. Marketing strategies that business owners should start. So again, tying down to a niche here in this case for whom this video is going to be so definitely for business owners. Then we have digital marketing trends who also was really relevant and valuable. By going through this quick search, I can already find some interesting ideas that can become a video. Now, a very quick, yet very interesting thing that I recommend you is to install this, this keyword everywhere tool. And this is basically a Chrome extension that you can add. If you just search for keywords Everywhere extension, you can simply download it over here for free. I do have a paid plan, few credits that I bought, but still you don't need it. So let's basically activate it. Now. I replicate the same search. You will see that I will have more information here. And I have more of this information because again, I'm paying for the the premium version, I have some credits. So why is this even interesting? First of all, you have again, a lot of ideas. So we have digital marketing trends, but we can also talk about branding trends and PR trends in content marketing trends. So this would be very relevant for me. Or B2B marketing trends. First of all, you have the keywords again, and also you have the volume. So if you are creating videos for YouTube, obviously it's important to know that people are searching for this keyword. And this is where Keywords Everywhere comes into play and it's very interesting to get these type of information. Now let's move onto another way of finding ideas. And it's basically through YouTube. So what we're going to do is type in the, what we are looking for. So say marketing strategies 2022. When we do this search, we will see again, a lot of other ideas that we can take some inspiration from. Say here, Pat Flynn, which I actually really like. He's just doing top five marketing trends. This guy is doing, let's say Instagram marketing or music marketing strategies. Again, because I have these extension installed, I have more information about the content and this is definitely really, really useful. The third way to get ideas is using platforms like Instagram, tiktok, and Pinterest. Because these are platforms in which you can publish video and it's easy to find video content. So again, let's find some marketing strategies. This will search this as a keyword or has a hashtag. Sorry. We'll search for this hashtag and then we will see what types of content pops up. So we can see here about influencer marketing. So let's say marketing trends in the influencer marketing niche. We could have Facebook ads, marketing trends. We could have storytelling marketing trends. There's a lot of ways to find interesting ideas for your future videos using existing social platforms. Again, you can use Instagram, you can use tiktok, you can use Pinterest. You can use any other platform to find these types of ideas. Now there is another platform that I absolutely love. It's called quorum, and it's basically a questions and answers platform so people ask questions and then you can go there and answer the question. So this was basically like Yahoo Answers back in the day, but now Korea is much more interested in actually, I do use quirk quite often, but let's do again marketing strategy, strategies. And we do search. Then we're going to filter by questions. These are some of the questions that people have asked. And remember, every single question can have an answer. You can indeed create videos answering all of these questions. So, what are the best digital marketing strategies, social media marketing strategies? What are semi effective mass marketing strategies? Let's say what are good marketing strategies for a small business? Again, this is really interesting because you can niche down in VB very specific to the type of question that these people are asking. Finally, this is the last strategy that I have to share with you today to get some ideas equipped to ask directly to your audience. So if you already have an audience, if you have people watching and following you online, you can and should definitely take advantage of that. And really ask people what type of content do they want to see from you? This is obviously a great way to get direct ideas, but you also have an opportunity to build a stronger connection with your audience, which is basically what I'm trying to do. In this case, this is not exactly a way direct way to ask for recommendations, but based on some of the questions, I can already see some of the things people are struggling with, with their personal brand, with their content. And then I can create content directly trying to help them. This was a way of asking directly my audience. And you can simply do it by creating a Google form. It's completely free and you can then send it out to people. I'm really excited for this. I hope you have your ideas now. If you don't, just stop the course and do some research using all of these strategies. And I'm really excited to see you in the next video. 5. Workshop: Video Content Ideation in Action: Welcome back to another video. In this video I'm basically going to show you exactly how to go across the web and use all the techniques we covered in the past video. And really create a document with all of your ideas for future content. And I think this is going to be very useful for you because one month from now, you will have ideas that you can use. I'm going to show you exactly how I usually put these process into practice. I'm also going to give you this template, but well, it's super simple. You just put in a topic and then you collect ideas and you will create an outline for the potential video. You can do this immediately or do it later once you are sure if you really want to create that video about the topic, let's go back to our marketing strategies 2022. I'm again going to put on my keyword extension, Keywords Everywhere extension. And then we will see what types of videos we could create. Now the first one is digital marketing trends. Obviously now I have two choices. I can look at this title and think, Okay, good, I create something. Does this makes sense for me? It makes total sense to create some piece of content on this. So I could simply click Copy and then come into our worksheet and hit Paste. So sorry, paste values only and then we could just make it like this. So digital marketing trends for 2022. Going back, we have other ideas. So another one that I really like is B2B marketing trends. Because I work with some B2B companies, content ideas, we simply hit Paste and that it is another one that I saw that it's really relevant for me too, is content marketing trends. Now, we have already some type of content related with trends, but now we want something more related with strategies. We're going to start looking at some of the content that appears here. First, we have obviously marketing strategies, but I think that's too broad. Marketing strategies could mean really many, many things. I want to be more narrow. One thing that I noticed is this one, marketing strategies for every startup. But I'm going to change it a little bit because I like the contents, but I prefer to target small businesses, marketing strategies for small businesses. And then we can obviously add the 2022 or not. Depending if that makes sense, we can basically continue the process. I see marketing trend to watch out. This is digital marketing, so obviously it makes a lot of sense. So digital marketing strategies for 2022, we have seen previously in the previous video on YouTube about influencers marketing. So let's do influence influencers marketing strategies for 2022. As you can see, this is a very quick process. It's very rough. So I'm not necessarily going to create a video with this title. I might change it. I might add a little bit more twist to the title. I might add not their target audience. So let's say B2B SAS, which stands for Software as a service, marketing trends. So I can be more specific here, but this is just to show you the power of real coming up with ideas and how easy it is. Now, I just wanted to continue doing this process just for quorum. So let's go for marketing, Okay, marketing strategies. Then let's filter through questions and we have a lot of questions here. Let's do. What do we have? So what are some effective mass marketing strategy? So I kind of liked this idea. Not sure how this would turn into content, but it could mass marketing strategies. Then we can continue on core. We have this one. It's very specific marketing strategies for a web sort of perhaps a tech startup. So let's do marketing strategies for tech startups. Let's see some other ones. What are the most basic strategies for marketing? I really like this one because it just tells me that this, the person is probably beginning and they might want an initial strategies, I'm just going to change a little bit. So basic strategies for basic digital marketing strategies. This adds another layer of nourishing down and really speaking directly to my audience. Let's just complete another one and we will have ten ideas in less than ten minutes, really. All of them really interesting, but let me just find another one. So we have, okay, I just found it. We have what is the most effective quorum marketing strategy. So let's do Quora marketing strategy for 2022. As you can see, this is fairly quick to do, but it can be really insightful to actually go deep in understand what people actually want to learn and how you could provide that content for them through video. Then the next step would be to create an outline. And obviously you don't need to do this for all the ideas, especially if you haven't even decided that you are going to create this video. But for me this usually goes down to creating a few bullet points. So let's say one, digital marketing trends. We could talk about email marketing. We could talk about content marketing. We could talk about influencers marketing. So as you can see, this could just become like a quick outline of what I might cover on the video. This is basically it I'm going to share with you this template, but again, this has nothing special in it. You can create it really quickly on your Google Sheets or any other platform, really. I hope to see you in the other videos. 6. Finding Inspiration for your Video: Hi and welcome to phase three of this class. This is all about preparation. And so in this phase of the course, we're going to cover three main things. The first one is inspiration and research. The second one is scripting. Finally, coming up with a shortlist in these three steps basically will simplify a lot the filming process. And I know the filming process is actually very challenging for a lot of people, especially if you're just starting out, the whole goal of the preparation phase is making things way easier when you hit record on your camera. I can definitely share my experience that every time I am a little bit lazy about the preparation phase. First, the filming process is much more first trading. And second, the result is often lower or the quality is often lower than when I do all the preparation beforehand. But well, let's get started on the inspiration in research part. And truly the combination of these two items will create a great video that is engaging and really covers what your viewers are interested in sync. And so starting with the inspiration phase, there are two main things that really helped me to complete this step. The first one is just searching for my favorite creators online and really drawing some inspiration from their content and feeling more inspired. A second, I like to simply watch a couple of videos that have been done on the topic. It can also draw some inspiration. See what I definitely don't like in the video. See what I do like and how I could basically have that in mind when I'm creating my video. And they truly think that these two steps alone will make your videos more interesting because you are going in extra mile to make your videos more engaging and captivating for the people who are watching it. And this is basically how I do this process of getting inspiration. Now that you know exactly how to get inspiration for your videos, it's time for the research phase, and you can definitely skip this step if you don't think you need to do any research to create your video. But for me research, she's always quite important, especially if I'm creating educational videos where I'm teaching something. And I tried to get obviously the facts right. But if you're just creating a vlog with your family, obviously you don't need to do any research. Well, for me, the research process is not very organized. But to be honest, it's the way that I get more value from it. I simply start some searches on the web, finding content that I find relevant, taking notes and compiling everything into this document that I later use to craft my script. I really don't think that he's a formula. What I do think is you should try to find relevant sources and also to find unique angles and perspectives that will make your content much more interesting. Now, just a quick tip. If you are a research nerd, please don't use this phase as an excuse for never filming the research phase in not an endless process. It should have a start date and a finish date. So make sure you don't spend all of your time in the research phase and then you end up skipping the filming phase. The goal is really to have enough information to script a great video later on. So don't waste too much time on this face. 7. Script your Video with this Framework: Now that you have the inspiration and the research you need, it's time to start scripting your video. And there are two main ways of scripting video. The first one is the bullet point method, which basically you just have bullet points of things you want to talk in your video. The second method is basically writing every word of what you are going to say on the video. There is no right or wrong answer. I truly think that some videos should be completely scripted, especially if they are very direct and concise. But other types of videos, they probably work better if there's no word for word script because you sound more natural, you some more engaging in more human. But this is actually a personal choice. And I totally understand that if you're just starting out, you might feel much more comfortable with writing the full script. But if you actually prefer to bullet point method, it's still okay. Now that we are back into my computer, I wanted to show you how to quickly create a script for one of your videos. I use this very simple formula. I start always with a quick introduction. This should be quick because people, people's attention spans are very short. And we don't want to spend a lot of time introducing ourselves. The second part is the main content. So mainly where you are going to talk about your topic. As you can see, I call it main-content part one and we have another main content part two. The reason why this is separated is because there's a call to action in the middle of the video. This could be subscribed to my channel. This could be download my my e-book. This could be follow me on Instagram. Anything you have to ask people to do, you can include it in the middle of the video. Then you proceed with the continuation of your topic. Then we move on to the conclusions. So depending on the purpose of the video, my conclusion is also very short. I just like to summarize a bit what I've covered during the video. And then I follow again with this same CTA or call-to-action, where I ask people either to follow me or do any other thing that makes sense. With this, like 123456 steps, you can literally create a script much, much faster without following your random structure, because now you have exactly which points you should be covering on your video. Now I want to show you one of mine YouTube video scripts. So this is already published on my YouTube channel. And you can see how I follow the exact same structure. We start with an introduction, and this one is actually bigger than most of my introductions. We then have the main content where I talked about first social media and then content marketing. Then I add a quick CTA in the middle of the video. Then I continue for the main content part two. So in this case, we have communities, we have the website and email marketing. I finish with a conclusion. As I said, this is very short and I end with again, another CTA. So I just want people to get to the next action. In this case. I want people to be a part of my email list. So I'm offering a download, a free download of a cheat sheet for building your personal brand on LinkedIn. And the goal is getting people onto my email list. And then obviously because this is for YouTube, I just say if you want to watch this video, just click here into one. But if this is not for YouTube, you don't obviously need to include this. But as you can see, this is me following the exact same structure I've showed you here, because it's just so much easier to create a script when you have a predetermined structure that can help you stay on track. And don't forget any type of content that you feel that it's important. 8. Build your Shot list! : In the last video, we finished our script. But that's not exactly true. There are a few things still that we can optimize in prepare for the filming stage. Basically, the goal is going through the script, again, finding spots of the video where we can introduce other shots. This is basically called the B-roll shot. What I'm doing right now is at a role shot. Why? Because I'm talking directly to the camera. But I can right now introduced a B-roll shot. This is just a clip that usually is introduced to represent exactly what I'm saying. It's a way to add more dynamic to the video, make it a little bit more engaging. And a lot of videos have room to introduce B-roll. I highly recommend you to go through this step and really make a list of all the B-roll shots you want to include in your video. Let's see again descript and how we can plan the shot list. Finally, to finish our planning for the video, we have a shortlist. And essentially what a shot list is. Just a quick checklist for you to remember. What seems you have to focus and record on your video. This is the shortlist for my previous video that I showed before how to effectively promote your business online. As you can see, most of my shots are screen recordings. So because I'm actually showing something when I'm speaking, I want to include that screen recording on the video. And so I create a shortlist so I'll never forget to actually record the footage. And then these 33 shots over here are simply what is called the B-roll. So basically content that helps you build a narrative, helps you build the story. And this appears while I'm speaking. I think I mentioned somewhere about building a puzzle and so on. So this could make sense either for me to film a quick video building a puzzle, or to actually finding some third party stock footage to include. This, again, can be as small or big as you want. It really depends on your goals, how you want to make your video. If again, I was filming say, a trip, let's say I was filming a vlog or something. I could include here, say a time-lapse of me working working working on my computer. If I was talking about my day of work, I could simply include a time-lapse of me working and this could be filmed afterwards. The main content is filmed in the main goal of a shot list is really to not forget to film any of these pieces that help you put together a better video. And also this helps you when you are editing your video because you already have some guidelines that will help you put a video together. And this is again, the full script. Let me zoom out. And as you can see, I also add some quick notes for myself with just say a role, this is B-roll, This is a role B-roll and so on. Again, another, another node for me saying LinkedIn video recording, Instagram video recording. And these ones were, as you can see, already recorded over here. So this just makes it much more easy for me to edit. Or if I'm outsourcing the edit D addition phase, I can also share these notes with my video editor. They always know what exactly to do in each part of the video. 9. My Filming Equipment & Recommendations: Welcome to phase four of the process, video recording with ease. I'm really excited because you are going to see how I feel a video without any fancy gear. And really this can easily be replicated for you at home where you live with your current equipment. In fact, I do have some fancy gear laying around, but I can create a most the same quality videos with way less equipment. And this is particularly important if you are just starting out because you should be simplifying the process to start today and continuing practicing throughout the years. In fact, I'm currently on an Airbnb and I can record a class. I can record YouTube video just with very simple equipment that fits inside any back. And most importantly, I don't need to buy any new equipment because I can always fill with my phone. In fact, ninety-nine percent of people have an amazing quality phone with an amazing quality camera that they can use to film pretty much any video. But let me start by showing you exactly the equipment I use to record a very simple video. First for the camera, I use the canon ADD, but to be honest, you can easily do the same things with your smartphone. For my lenses, I'm currently using the prime lenses with 24 millimeters, but again, use your phone so you don't need to buy any extra equipment if you don't have any. Second for the audio, I'm using the road lapel mic. And this can basically be attached to my clothes. And I can simply talk even if I'm farther away from the camera. The only problem with these type of mix is that you need to attach them to an external recorder. And in this case, I'm using the Zoom H1 to record the audio. Again, you can use the microphone of your smartphone as long as you are close enough to the phone. Finally, for lighting, I'm just using natural light. I know sometimes it's difficult when it's rainy and the light doesn't actually help you out. But the whole thing is you need to simplify right now. Yes, you can further to invest on artificial light, but to begin with, I think natural light is enough. Finally, for the tripod, I do have a bigger tripod back at home. Right now. I just use it. This very small tripod that costs about $20. And it's very convenient because you can attach your smartphone or you can also attach a camera, a DSLR cameras. So it works for both of the formats, and this is simply the equipment I'm currently using to film this video. I can just press record and start talking, start saying something to the camera, which is obviously another challenge in itself. But it always comes with practice. And the more you do it, the more natural it will sound to you. This is basically it. The video is fully recorded and now I just need to put it on my computer and start the editing process. But if you recorded everything in one sit, perhaps you don't actually need the edit. This obviously depends on your goals into types of videos you're trying to create. But if you do need to edit, I'm going to show you exactly how I make some very quick changes on the video with my editing software. So let's move on to the next video. 10. How I edit my videos (fast): Finally, the last step for publishing any of your videos is to edit the video. As I said previously, your video might not require any editing, but I do believe that when you edit a video, you can make it pop. You can make it much more engaging and really achieve better results when you spend the time to put a great video together. I'm not a video editor first and foremost, so I don't feel it would make any sense for me to show you exactly how I edit my videos first, because this totally depends on your software. In the case I use Adobe Premier Pro, so let me just write it here. But you can also use iMovie or da Vinci resolve in other other softwares that are free, these two are paid. Again, what I found that could be useful for you is to give you my editing checklist. And this is what I do regardless of the software I use before I used iMovie, the checklist was the same. Now I'm using Adobe Premier Pro and it's the same thing. I believe you can find better content on how to edit your videos from professional filmmakers and being your editors. So I'm definitely not going to give you a masterclass on this. But I really wanted to show you my checklist in how I organize myself in terms of the editing. So the first step is to import all my video files. Obviously all the footage are recorded, needs to go into my computer. So this is the first step. The second step is to organize my video files. Usually I separated everything from BYU role a role to audio. If I feel if I have these three formats, so I have the main role than the B-roll and audio clips. I organize them in different folders, so it's much easier for me to find it. Then I find three or five music tracts to add to my clip. For this, you can use epidemic sound, but I indicates I used Envato Elements. Just make sure you're choosing a royalty-free music or that you are actually paying to have access to that songs. Then I edit the main voiceover and the a role. So this is the main part of the video and I just edit heading a few cuts now in here, so super easy and simple. Then I have finally the music. I play with it. I see where each song fits in how I can cut it to match the whole vibe of the video. Then finally, I add the B-roll to the main storylines. So all the clips are already in the timeline. I add the B-roll, I added it, I tried to make it more punchy and appealing. Then if necessary, I record additional footage. Let's say if I just forgot to film something or I see where an additional video could be very interesting. I do that or I can also go and find some stock footage to add. I finally add the color grading of the videos. So this can be done in most softwares. I add sound effects. So let's say I'm saying something interesting. I can have like a specific sound that makes it more punchy and engaging. Finally, I edit the audio levels. So this is just to make sure that the whole audio sounds good. And there are no noise in the background on my audio levels are balanced and so on. And I just export the video usually as an mp4, but you can choose whatever format you want with any software. This is basically the whole checklist that I use to edit my videos. Again, you can do this in any software. You can also find great tutorials on YouTube, on learning platforms and so on. And I highly recommend you to get involved with the editing process because it can be very interesting to see how you can start with a simple video and make it so much more interesting and engaging by learning how to edit and adding those punchy images, videos, and sounds to captivate your audience. I hope this is useful for you. I'll let me know if you have any questions. 11. Let's build your first video! : We have reached the end of this class. Thank you so much for watching, and I really hope you have learned a lot along the process for the class project. I would love to see what video you created for this project. Is it a family log? Is it a YouTube video or perhaps a quick overview of your business? I really wanted to see what you created and feel free to use the discussion to ask me any questions because I'm going to be available to answer and really help you own this process and become a Video Marketing Pro. I truly believe in the power of creating video to communicate something. Because if you think about it, it's way more personal than a simple text because you get to the ability to show yourself, to speak directly to someone. And there's nothing better than debt. Again, thank you so much for watching and they really hope to see you in other classes.
