1. Introduction : Hi. Hello everyone. I hope
you're doing good. So this is far
different afternoon today we are here to learn this particular painting
on an A4 sized canvas. This is what we're
going to learn. And to do this painting, I'm gonna show you how to
paint the basic strokes. So these are all the basic
strokes you're going to learn. After you learn this one, you can easily paint on canvas. Again. In the coming videos, I'm going to share what are all the materials and
how to choose a brush, and the nature of
acrylic medium, how to load your bridge? What is the basic proportion
of loading your brush? And how to get the
creamy effectively a rash and everything in detail, step-by-step manner so that you can understand them easily. At the end of the session, you will learn to create
your own floral composition, how to add leaves, and how to paint a beautiful
peony in your own way. I'm super exact. Let's see. In the next video.
2. Materials Required : Again. So the materials
required to paint that Paeony or A4 size canvas, you can use a forces Canvas or you can
even normal acrylic sheets, which is about two
to four D GSM. So that then only it will
be thick enough so that you can frame it and hang
it in your wall. We need what is your brushes I'm going to use today are
three by four inch flat brush. You can measure using a finger. Up to this line, it will be one inch. So you can measure using
your finger like this. This is three by four
inch flat brush, half inch flat brush. A quarter inch flat brush. If needed, we can use that and a fine tip around
bridge we're going to use. So these are all the things and a pallet to load your brush. And the colors we're
gonna use, our violet. These are our artists
grade acrylic paints. You can use any brand, but make sure you
buy or disagreed because this will be vibrant, thick enough to do
one stroke technique. And if you use student grade, it will be very thin and it has lot of binders than pigment. So better try to choose a TBI, artistic Grade acrylics
from any brand. The colors. I'm using this
acrylic paints from reefs and also from
Liquitex basics. These two brands
are my favorite. So the colors yet again, violet. Ross read. If you
don't have rose red, you can go for magenta. Titanium white, Mars Black. For the leaves. I'm going to use a medium yellow and
Prussian blue hue. To add the diodes to
the center portion. This part, I'm going
to use burnt umber. This is from reefs
and yellow ocher. This is from Alpha. So yeah, these are all the colors you're
going to use today. Let's start doing that.
3. Preparing the Canvas: So firstly, let's block
the background of our canvas so that it will dry until we do
the basic strokes. And of course, the paper
towel or a rough clock to remove the excess
water from your brush. So I'm going to remove
the plastic wrap. Be careful when peeling off, when you use a sharp object
to peel off The Plastics. So now I'm going to block the background using pure black. Okay. This is from
Liquitex basics. Again, put the paint
directly on your canvas. Or you can use your
palettes and pour some paint on this and then
you can spread it all over. I'm going to use my
three by four inch flat brush to spread the black. The first thing you need to do, wash your brush by
going back and forth. When you use a flat bridge. Drain the excess water, dab it on a paper
towel or a cloth to remove the excess
water from the brush. Now I'm going to spread
the colors all over. This is relax. And paint. I'm going to use
little bigger one. This is one inch as this
takes a bit more time. Just to wash it. Sometimes when you
belonged the background, then you do one layer and
the layer is still wet. And if you add another
layer of paint, when you do the brushstrokes, it might take off the
paint from the Canvas. So what you can do is you can wait until the first
coat dries completely. Come back again after five to ten minutes because
acrylic dries faster. So after that, if you add
another coat of paint, it won't come out from
the Canvas, Okay. Okay. And now I complete a completely blocked
the background. So we have to let
it dry completely. So in the meantime, let's do all the basic strokes. Give whenever you use the brush, the first thing you need to
do is wash it completely. Otherwise, it will
damage the blisters. Just wash your brush
immediately after each use. Again. Now I'm going to do the basic strokes
and the colors. I'm going to use
our medium and low.
4. Loading the Brush with Paint : I'm going to do the basic
strokes and the colors. I'm going to use our medium
yellow and Prussian blue hue. And the brush I'm going to use is three by four
inch flat brush. Just wash your brush. By going back and forth, drain the excess water and
paint on a paper towel or a cloth because for actually we don't need to add so
much water with that. If you add too much water
in certain period of time, your artwork may end up creating some cracks that will
definitely disappoint you, write better, add very less amount of water that too when
you need that. Okay. I already have Prussian blue hue and medium
yellow in my palette. Along with that, we're going
to use titanium white. Okay, So the basic proportion
of loading your brushes, 1 third of the bristles
with lighter shade, 2 third of the crystals
with a darker shade. Okay, So here I loaded 1 third, 1 third of the Bristow
with yellow and tutored with the
Prussian blue hue. And now I'm going to load it. Okay, 123 and come back. Just go back and forth
until you load your brush. At least half of the
Bristol or more than half. Okay, one more time. I'm gonna pick up
some Prussian blue hue and medium and low. And loading by going
back and forth. Now I'm going to
touch a little bit of Titanium White on
the side of medium yellow so that it will look bright on black people whenever
the background is darker. Okay, I loaded my brush. Now.
5. Basic Strokes of Leaves and Flower : And now the first stroke
is a Leaves stroke. So he can mark like an arrow mark facing
downwards from sideway. I'm going to start from here. Just wiggle your brush
like 123 and lean. Okay. Now I'm gonna come
from top to bottom. I used the light white, yellow shade on top. Okay. So now I'm going to
start from here. Yes, Come down 123, okay. So you can wiggle any number of time with the lighter side. I mean with the low side. I added this term. When you give minimum pressure, the stroke will be thin. When you give maximum pressure, the stroke will be thicker. So it all depends on how much
pressure you are giving. One stroke is all about
how much pressure you are giving and how
you load your brush. You need to keep loading
your brush often. Can now does a cane stroke. The same one, but I'm going to change the color inside out. So the CMB, the atom
OK, facing downwards. Okay, so far the first
thing I'm gonna use, the darker color outside here. Let's start from here. Just wiggle, wiggle,
wiggle and lean. Okay. Now I'm going to
come from top to bottom. Now again, blue is
on the outside. So with a thin stroke, give minimum pressure
and vigor. Vigor. Okay. Now I'm going to add this term with the
lighter side of me. This is called
chisel edge, okay? So I use the lightest side, the tip of the lighter
side to add the stem. So the next is stroke. I'm going to repeat
the same stroke, but with a little
difference in that. Kick, keep loading your brush so that your stroke
will be perfect. Little touch of white on
the side of the yellow. If you need to add water, you can touch a little bit of water with the
tip of the brush. Not too much. Just this much. Okay. Again, load your brush
by going back and forth. So now the next
rule, the same leaf. It's all about how you
play with the colors. The same V, I remark
facing downwards. So for the first stroke
I'm going to use this one. Okay? Yellow outside, wiggle,
wiggle, wiggle and lean. And for the second side, I'm going to use the
colors inside out. So this one, I'm combining
these two style. So now yellow is inside. I'm going to start from
here with a thin line. Bigger, bigger, bigger, bigger. You can wiggle any
number of that. With the light side
of the chisel edge. I added this ten. Okay, so the next stroke, the same way, I'm going
to reverse the color. For the next Leaves stroke. I'm going to add this
one and this side. Okay? So I'm gonna start
from here. The same. They add a monk facing
downwards, I mean sideway. So for the first stroke I'm
going to use blue outside. So start from here. We go, 123 and lean. Keep loading your
brush if needed, you can touch a little bit
of water and again load it. Now on the second side, I'm gonna use blue
inside and green, yellow outside with a thin line. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. Like I told you, it's all about how you play with the colors and how much pressure you are given, and so on. Okay. So these are the same leaf, they used different styles, I mean, by playing
with the colors. Okay? So the next leaf we're going to
learn or something like this, okay, this one. So for this, what I'm gonna do is you can make a mark,
something like this. And then my three times
the size of the blisters. And now, let me load my palette. As they don't have enough paint. Killing me. Put some here. Okay, so now I'm going to load my brush again with
the darker side, Prussian blue hue, lighter
side with medium yellow. I'm gonna load it by
going back and forth. And you can touch
a little bit of white on the side of yellow. Again, loaded by going back
and forth and more thing. If you need water you
can touch a little bit. You can even drop or
two to three drops over the side and then you can
touch whenever you need. Okay? Okay. Now I'm going
to start from here. So again, mark like a V. And I'm going to
start from here. So just wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. You can legally any
number of time. This is called shell stroke. Okay? If you join my previous course, you'd have learned all
these stuffs clearly. I'm going to connect from here, okay, I'm gonna start from here. Okay? Just continuing, wiggling
my brush and dragging. So it's like adding
a shell stroke. And on top of that, we added this kind of a stroke. Okay? Now I'm gonna again
the shared stroke over here. So going to as shared
stroke is nothing but you can make a V, okay? And, um, I can send a
little bit about that V. Again, start from here. You can legally any
number of time. And connecting all
the three max, okay. I'm gonna stop them here so you can legally
any number of time. Okay. And now I'm going
to connect it from here. Just wiggle, wiggle, wiggle in, in a bit of time and lean. Okay? And we delight the side of the chisel edge
again, this term. So we did this, right? We combine this shell stroke. And on top of that, we put this one, this Leaves stroke right? And again, it can be any number
of times. It's up to you. So now I'm going to do the
same leaf with this pattern, okay, for the first side, I'm going to use yellow on top. And for the second
side I'm going to put yellow inside. Okay. Just keep loading your brush and loaded Kathleen. Little bit of white on the side of yellow and again loaded. Okay, now I'm gonna do
the same kind of leaf. How we did the man do
something like this. And three times the size
of the Bristol, right? So I'm gonna stop him. He'll yellow should be
outside for the first side. So I'm going to start, use
your pinky as a support. I want to start from
here, just 123, go up and come down. Okay? Now, I'm gonna
connect it from here. Okay. Just wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle
any number of time. Okay. Now, on the opposite side, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna change the color inside out. Now. Yellow should be inside. I'm blue should be
outside my leg V. Again, I want to
start from here. Just wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle any number of time. Keep loading your brush. And then I'm gonna
connect it this way. And I'm going to use
this yellow chisel side. And this ten submitted
another type of leaf, the same kind of leaf, but by playing with the colors, we created this leaf. Okay? So the next two
leaves stroke will be very easy if you learned the basic strokes from
my previous course. So let's load up our brush. I feel my brushes dry. So what I'm gonna
do is I'm going to dip my roster with
the tip of the brush. And then I'm gonna
load again. Right? So now the next stroke
will be very easy. Suggests smart like
a slanting line. Use your pinky is a support. Press and release the pressure. Okay. This is a kind of leaf. Okay. More time I'm gonna do this one just
like a slanting line. Press and release
just like a wave. Okay. So when you give
maximum pressure, you will get the
broadest stroke. And when you release
the pressure you will get a thinner stroke. And also to get a sharp tip, you have to lift your First sub-point up before you
reach the finishing line. Okay? The next easy leaf stroke will be something
like this by dabbing. Okay, we're going
to dabble a brush. For this. You need to
load more with white. And then just do this way. And now I'm going to
dab my brush like this. Just by this way. It will give you a kind
of coconut leaf effect, okay, it's going this way. And on the other side, something like this,
and go this way. Okay, Now I'm going
to connect it using the lighter side of the chisel
edge, something like this. Okay, this is one
of the easiest leaf and the most beautiful leaf. When you add this one to your floral
composition that will really make your artwork pop up. The next two leaf. The next one is a filler stroke. You can call that as
comma stroke. Okay? So for that you have to
hold your brush this way directly against the people. So why does onto the light colors on top
darker at the bottom, you see a pink as a support. Holes straight,
push it towards you and release the pressure.
Something like this. You can use this one
as a daisy stroke. Again, call this one as
a daisy stroke as well. The same way, I'm gonna do more than three or more
than three together. Dislike I told you before. To get a thinner stroke, you have to lift
your first, okay. When you reach the
finishing line so that it will
get a sharper tip. And also you need to
release the pressure. So these are all the leaves strokes we're going to
apply in our painting. And a few strokes like
this for our flavor. And of course, we
mess with this band. This is a grass leaf. So all you can do is
just do the free stroke, just pull it away from you, okay, and that's it. You can either use the
lighter color at the top. If you use lighter
color at the top, you will get
something like this. And if you use darker
color at the top, you will get something
like this, okay? For the lighter, brighter
leaves you can use, the light color is affordable. For the darker tip. You can use the darker color
at the a-z followed. Okay. Now, I'm gonna do some of the petals strokes so
far that you can mark like a broader V and
kind of parallel lines, so care for to make
it easy for you. So what I'm gonna do is I'm
going to start from here. You can wiggle any
number of time with random ups and downs. So whenever you reach
those two parallel lines, you can go up and come down. Again, go up and come down. Okay. I'm going to repeat
this one once again. My obligor, broader V. And the two parallel
lines in between, just wiggle, want to go up, come down, one,
smile, a shorter one. Again, go up, come down. Connected, okay, the next leaf. Keep loading your brush. The next stroke, vegan I
use for the flavor will be. We can start with the tip of
t. I'm in the light color, okay, sad with a thinner line. And show you a bit this way so that it will be
easy for you to see that. Okay. I'm gonna start this
way with a thin line. Just move of a bell. Just wiggle, wiggle,
wiggle, wiggle. Aniline. Okay. Sad with the white. Move above. I mean, move the
lighter shade above. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, and
reach the finishing line. These Chan with
the lighter color and the end with
the lighter colors. So this is another stroke. And instead of
wiggling your brush, you can even simply do this
way just with a thin line. Twist and lean, okay, It can either use this or this. The next one will be something
like just normal wiggle, something like this, and
change the color this way. And we just reverse this when
we turn this upside down. Okay? So yeah, These are
all the basic strokes you need to learn before
you paint on canvas. Let's see whether
the paint dries. It's already dried completely. So if you still see some
white spots in your Canvas, add another layer of
another layer using black. And again, let it dry and
then you can paint on that. Okay. I'll see you in the next video.
6. Final Project: Painting Leaves : So here is a Canvas
dried completely. Okay, so now let's
wash our brush. Before that. Let's plays over. Okay, here is what we're
going to paint a peony. I'm gonna make it like
a kind of circle. Okay? So somewhere here, I'm using white pencil so that
it will be visible for me. I hope you guys to see
this when clearly. That's why I'm using my pencil. Now. Let's paint the leaves first and then come
to the flower. Okay? So for the leaves, I'm going to use the same brush, which we use just before
to do the basic strokes. And again, the same color
combination I'm going to use. We already have Prussian
blue hue in our palette. I'm going to take
some medium middle and already have some white, but still, I wish to add
more white on my palette. So like I told you, we need to load our
brush like 1 third with the lighter shade to deal
with the darker shade. Just loaded by going
123 and then come back one more time. So I'm going to
touch a little bit of white on the side of yellow to make it
a little brighter, a little more white. And again, touching little
blue on the side of blue. The blue I'm using is
Prussian blue hue. Okay. So now I'm going to
start from here. Okay? So the first
leaf I'm going to use to add the
background leaves, I'm gonna use this one. Okay? So for the both the
sides, I'm gonna apply. I mean, I'm going to
use blue outside, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle any
number of time and lean. Okay. Again on the other side, start with a thin line. Both the sides, the
blue is outside. Okay? Load your brush again. And another leaf. Over here. You're painting
doesn't need to be exactly same as mine, okay? So just play with the colors. The same kind of leaves, both the sides,
Lewis outside, okay. And a leaf over the side. Keep loading your brush. So I'm going to
add it over here. Yes. Bigger, bigger,
bigger, and lean. And connected from
top to bottom. The same way. Okay. You can
always redo on top of that. I'm gonna use the
lighter side of my brush and I'm connecting
it with the leaf. And also here on the side, I'm gonna use the same leaf. Just keep loading your brush. So I'm going to add
a leaf over here. Okay, The same day, Louis outside and connected
from top to bottom. Okay. With this TIM. Okay, so now what I'm
gonna do is I'm going to add a leaf like this one. Something like this. Okay, I'm going to
paint a few leaves like this with both the sides. Okay, So I'm going to tell us a little bit of
white on the side of yellow and loading a bit. So what I'm gonna do is I'm
going to add a leaf-like. Okay, so for the first
side I'm going to use blue on top and wiggle, wiggle, wiggle and lean. And for the second side, I'm going to change
the color inside out. So now Eloise outside,
Lewis inside. And I'm using the wiggle
stroke, something like this. And connect it using the lighter
side of the chisel edge. The same way I'm gonna use
here, over here. Okay. So Louis, outside
for the first leaf. I mean first the
side of the leaf and yellow is outside for
this side of the leaf. And now connected using the lighter side of
the chisel edge. I'm going to add a
few leaves over here. Same V. Just load
your brush again. You have to load
your brush often so that you will get
the clean stroke. That's a little bit of
white on the side of yellow and load it again. Now I'm going to add
a leaf over here. Okay? So here's, what I'm gonna do
is I'm going to use yellow on top for
the first side. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle and lean. For the second side, I'm going to change
the color inside out. Now, L0 is inside, blue is outside. Okay? Now connected using the stem. Okay, we got
something like this. So I'm going to add
another leaf over here. Keep loading your brush. So I'm going to add
a leaf over here. Okay. Suggests, I'm going
to make this way. For the first side, I'm going to use
blue outside, okay. Wiggle, wiggle and dieline. And for the second side, I changed the color inside out. Okay. So with a thin line, just wiggle, wiggle,
wiggle healing. Okay. And with the yellow side, I'm adding the stem. Got it. If you've got something like
this again, just pick up. Okay. Now I'm going to add a
leaf over here, the side. So what I'm gonna
do is I'm going to use yellow on top for this leaf. I'm going to start
from via just wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle and lean. And I'm gonna change
the color inside out. Now, a Lewis inside. Again, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, and connect with the
lighter side of the brush. I'm adding the stem. So I'm going to add one
last leaf over here. Keep loading your brush. And again, I touched, firstly, I loaded with again yellow
and Prussian blue hue, and then touched titanium
white and again loading. Okay, so now I'm gonna
add a leaf over here. Okay? So for the first leaf, I'm using yellow
outside and lean. Coming from top to bottom. Just change the
color inside out. The thin line, just
wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, and also you can connect it. So now UV use all the smaller leaves,
okay, medium-size leaves. Now I'm going to use the
heart shaped leaf, okay? This one and this one
are one lead one. It's up to you. What I'm gonna do is I'm
gonna a little more, a little more white on
the side of yellow. Other side the same view
so that it will look more brighter comparing to
the leaves in the background. So the first leaf, I'm gonna add over, over here on the right side, the same Vgs minus
something like this. And we're going to paint three times the size
of the bristles. So I'm going to start from here. It's okay if your stroke
overlap the previous one, that will give us the 3D effect. I'm going to start from here. So the good, the good vigor and like a kind
of shared stroke. And again, I'm going to continue that with some brand I'm
absent down and lean. Okay. Now I'm going to connect
it from top to bottom. Okay, though this way, the same way we learned
from the previous session, suggests wiggle, wiggle,
wiggle any number of time. Then connected to
the Chop, Okay. Now with the lighter
side of the chisel and connecting
this the same way, I'm going to add
few more reliefs. Another one over here. Like I told you, for this leaf, we gonna add more white
comparing to the previous layer. Okay, I added a little more white so that it will
be clearly visible. Okay, I'm gonna
change the paper. I mean, the canvas inside out. Suggests this way. This way. This again 123, just wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. You have to give maximum pressure to get
the broadest strokes. And just wiggle,
wiggle and lean. And now I'm gonna do it
in opposite directions. I'm going to start from here. So bigger, bigger, bigger, any number of time. Like I told you, you can always redo on top of your strokes. And with the lighter
side just connected. I'm going to add
another leaf over here, okay, On top of this. So I picked up more white comparing to
the previous layer. So I'm going to stop them here. Okay? The leaf will be like this. It can either mark all
the basic grids or you can simply paint if you
are confident with that. Confident with how to
paint the leaves, okay. The same V, opposite direction. Okay. They are done adding the bigger leaves,
smaller leaves. Okay? So now what I'm gonna
do is I'm going to add something like this when that coconut
leaf kind of stuff. So for this, I'm gonna pick
up blue and then more white. And I'm going to load this way. Okay, so now I'm gonna add the coconut leaf
kind of stuff over here. So just dab, dab, dab like a curve. Leave some space in-between each dabs so that you
can see the background. One. And that will make, make the leaf looks interesting instead of making them closer. Okay, so I'm gonna add the stem using the lighter
side of my barista. Okay? I'm going to add
another leaf over here. You can add any number
of leaves like that. Or even you can
make the curvy line first and then add those dab. The same V opposite side. Just tab it. The same way. I'm going to
add another one over here. Wrongly took the color. Okay, so I'm gonna
add one more here. We're going to start from here. It's like a line, okay? Okay. Suggests dab, dab, dab, dab, dab, dab. When it reach the peak, it should be like thin
line work here we are going broader to shoulder like
a kind of triangle shape. Again, just dab, dab, dab, dab, dab, dab,
dab, dab, dab. Okay. So we did this. The next stroke, we can add or those kind
of grassy effect. So what I'm gonna
do is I'm going to start from here, okay? But I want to get
the lighter shade. So what I'm gonna
do is I'm going to start with the lighter side. So just sat here and
free stroke, okay? Some random strokes like this. Okay? See how beautiful this looks. The same day here. Just some random grassy strokes. And then again over here suggests some random
with some random size. Some are shots, I'm a lengthier. Okay? Now we completed the background. Now let's add the peony. So I'm going to wash
my brush first.
7. Final project: Velvet peony : Okay. Firstly, with the dirty water going back and forth, and then with the clean water. So the colors, I'm going
to use our violet, rose red, and titanium white. Okay. These three are the colors we're going
to use for the peony. Okay? Now I'm going to pick up some violet to turn
off the darker shade. And 1 third of the
lighter shade roaster, the slider here, while
it is darker here. And I'm going to load
my brush this way. They're going back-and-forth.
On more time. Pick up some rose, red and violet, and do the flap. And on the side of light
color here, rose red. I'm going to pick up some white so that it will be visible when the
paint on black people. Black, darker background. Okay, so here I loaded
my brush more than half. Now I'm going to
paint the petals. First two videos over here. I'm going to saturate viewers. Okay? I'm gonna start from
here and end it over here. So from here, just
want to go up, come down again, go
up and come down. We can always redo on top of that until we are
satisfied with the result. I'm going to start again. Just bigger, bigger with random. I've sent down one more time. Whenever you paint
on canvas or fabric, you have to redo on top of that. The background is fully covered. Now I'm pulling the darker color at the bottom so that
it will dry faster. And also it will give the depth like the
petals are going inside. Okay, So the next one, I'm going to paint over here, a puddle over here. I'm going to start from here. And ended over here with
such a broader petals. So I'm gonna start from here. The same, the vigor with
some random I've seen down. And keep loading your brush
and keep doing on top of that until you cover the
background completely up here. So on last time, on top of that, again, I'm pulling
the colors in words. Okay? So two petals on the right side. Now I'm going to paint
three bidders around here, okay, the same
color combination. Okay? So I'm gonna
start from here. Okay? It's okay. I just, I made this
perpendicular. So directly opposite
to these two petals. I'm going to add one here. When I start from here
and ended over here. Just with random obscene down. Again, I'm loading
my brush again, doing on top of that until
the background covered. Okay. The next one over here, I'm going to paint. Okay, I'm going to
paint over here. So starting, I'm
going to start from here and end it over here. So somewhere from here, just with random obscene down. To get a better understanding, just keep watching the same
course again and again. Okay. So the next opposite
to this one, I'm going to paint. Just keep loading your
brush again and again. Okay, So I'm gonna statue here. And indeed over here with
some random ups and down. Again. More time
just with random, I've seen done, okay. Yes, they fail to pull the
colors in words, right? So just pull the colors inwards. Okay? Now I'm going to add few
more petals over here. This one, I'm going
to load one side with violet and the other
side with white. And I'm going to
load it this way. The site of violet, I'm going to pick up some draw straight on the
darker colors side. Okay? Now I'm going to add a
petal over here, okay? Okay, I'm gonna stop them here. Indeed over here, okay. I'm here again with
random ups and downs. Keep loading your brush again. I'm going to load it. I mean, redo on top of that. Okay? And just pull
the color inputs. Right? Now I'm going to add
another petal over here. You can even extend this
one little bit more. Okay? Now I'm going to add one
more better over here and touch a little bit
of water if needed. So I'm going to add a last
video over here to here, okay. Staffing via any number
of time with random. I've sent down just redo on top of that and
pull the colors inputs. Okay, this is how it
will look so far. Okay? Now I'm going to wash my brush with the dirty water
first and then. With the clean water. So now I'm gonna use my fine, fine tip round brush. When I use my fine tip brush. And the colors, I'm going
to use our burnt umber, yellow ocher to add the details to the center
portion of the flavor. I'm going to pick up
some burnt umber. And it looks good. Okay. And now I'm going to load
it with yellow ocher first. Okay. Then with I mean, sorry, first with burnt umber and then touch the tip
with yellow ocher. Now, I'm gonna make the
strokes like this one. I'll show you a bit. Something like this with
a thin line and press, Okay, Justin line and
press something like this. I'm gonna do it over
here. So it gets mad. Okay, something
somewhere over here. Okay, This part, I'm
going to start from here with the thin
stroke and press. Thin stroke and press Okay, from left to right. And then from right to left. Like a curvy stroke. Okay. Okay. Something like this. From coming from
outside to inside. Okay. Now I'm going to add few more strokes
to fill the center. This time, I'm going to
pick up yellow ocher. Again alone and then again, the same kind of stroke. Just to further space. Now I'm going to load my
brush with white alone. Okay? I haven't washed my brush to
add the highlighted effect. Okay. Some going outside
on both the sides. Okay. Then with this, now I'm
going to wash my brush. Okay. It's like a little flower is facing this way. Now I'm going to use my
half inch flat brush. Wash your brush. And now I'm going to add
strokes like this, one. Like this, this,
this and this. Okay? So what I'm gonna do is
I'm going to load my brush with red and Titanium White, Rose trade and titanium white. And on the side of rows red, I'm going to attach
little bit of violet. Okay, not too much. Just little touch. So now I'm going to add
few strokes from here. So with a thin line, with a thin stroke, bigger, bigger,
bigger, and lean. Okay. Same way, I'm going to add
petals around the center, but with a thin stroke, you can leave some space
from the background to see through that
will give us the depth. Keep loading a branch
thin line wiggle, wiggle, wiggle and lean. And changing the direction
of my canvas so that that will make me easier to do all the strokes with a
thin line from here. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle and lean. Okay. Again, over here. Thin line, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle and lean. Okay. So we got something like
this in the center portion. And now I'm going to
add another layer of this kind of bitters. Keep loading your brush with row straight
and titanium white. And on the side
of rows ready you can touch a little
bit of violet. Again, not too much violet, just little Dutch to
make the rose red looks a little more darker. So I'm gonna start
again from here. Okay. Ten line, wiggle,
wiggle, wiggle and Lee. Okay. On here, thin line. We go and lean. Again, touch a little
bit of water if needed. So I'm gonna start from
here with a thin line. And lean. Lean.
I'm going outside, not close applause
to the pedophiles. Okay. So the one over here, I'm starting from the bottom
of the previous layer. Button and thin line. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle and lean. Okay. You don't need to
count the number of pedals you are adding. We are repeating the same
stuff again and again. Gave something like
this happened. Just pick up and
redo on top of that. Okay. So anecdote here. Okay, I'm gonna start over
here with a thin line. Vegan and lean. Again, thin line,
wiggle, wiggle and lean. When you've come away from
the center part, the petals, the size of the petals with
getting broader and broader. One here, ten line
and lean. Okay. I think we almost
completed this part, but still we have some
space over here, right? So I'm gonna add extra
petals to fill the space. Again, keep loading your brush. Okay? So what I'm gonna do is I'm
going to start from here. Just wiggle, wiggle,
wiggle and lean. The one over here,
thin line and lean. Okay, we're almost done. So what this part, I'm going to add a few
strokes like this one. Just to give the illusion like some kind of
feathers over there. This way suggests I'm
going to start from here. Yes, bigger and bigger. Okay. We can add one more over here. Okay. So we are done
with the painting. Peony. It looks really beautiful, dry. So let's add some folded
effect in our petals. Okay? So what I'm gonna do
is I'm going to use the same brush and the
same color combination. So before that, I'm going to
wash it because I need pure white so that it will look perfect when we
add the folded effect. And now I'm washing my brush. Okay? So one side with Byte, Okay, Other side with rose red and just load the brush
slowly, slowly, slowly. We need the white to be visible
perfectly for this one. Now, I'm going to add the folded effect over here using the same kind of stroke. I'm going to start
with a thin line. Just twist and connect. We have seen this
one here, right? I am adding something like this. You can either add
this one or this one. Keep loading a brash and
we need a clean white. Okay, So another
stroke over here, I'm going to add sand
with a thin line, wiggly bit and connect. Okay? For this one we have
in regular brush, but for this, we
wiggle that right. Keep loading your brush. I'm going to add one
more folded effect over here just this way. Okay? And now I'm going to add few
folded effect for this one. Does keep loading your
brush and don't rush. Okay, I'm going
to add over here. Okay? So with a thin line,
just wiggly bit. And you can connect
this way, okay? And also over here, I'm going to add
the folded effect. So with a thin line, just vigor. And you can twist your brush
to get something like this. You can connect this way, something like this or
this. It's up to you. Okay? Now I'm going to add the
folded effect over here. Okay, over here
I'm going to add, so start with a thin line, vigorous debate and
connect this way. Okay? And also here we can add, stand with a thin line, just vigor and connect it. Okay? So we are done with our peony. Let's add few more
additional strokes like this one, okay, something like this and this, using the same brush
and the colors, I'm going to use orange, yellow, ocher and
titanium white. Before that, just
wash your brush. Okay. Now I'm going to pick up some yellow ocher on one side. Titanium white on
the other side. Just load your brush by
going back and forth. Okay? Now I'm gonna add few
strokes over, over here. Okay? I'm gonna do that. Press and lean stroke. Okay. So you can add any number
of strokes like this. It's your personal choice. If you don't like
you can skip this, but it's up to you. Okay. I'm gonna add one here. The same color, this titanium, white and yellow ocher. I'm going to start from here. Press and release the pressure. Stress, release the pressure. Okay? Okay. So another one over here. This side I'm going to add. So whenever I add something, I usually added the
Adam in odd numbers. If you observe me from
the beginning to end, I add only one leaf. If I add in bunch, then I add three leaves. For example, I added three
bigger leaves, right? And then they added
these kind of coconut, coconut leaf kind of thing. I added 123, right? The same way for this, 1123, for the grass is 123. So I can make that way. And now I'm going to add
few additional leaves, the easy leaves strokes. Okay, so I'm gonna
add over here. Okay? So for that, I'm going to add
something like from here. Press and lean. Press and Lean. And Lean. And Lean. Stress and lean. Stress and lean. You can add them in
any number of times. Finish it with one single leaf. Again, connect them
all together with the lighter side of
the chisel edge. Okay, see how beautifully this. And we can add few more
leaves around there. Okay, I'm going to add
additional two leaves. Press, lean, press,
lean, Press and lean. Then I'm going to
connect it. Again. I'm over here. Press and lean. You can add them
anywhere you wish. There is no rule to add that, to add leaves at all. Okay. I'm done with the painting. I hope you guys love this. I really enjoy doing this one. So this is what the
VAD flying to paint. And at the end we got
something like this. So these two different
paintings with it. I mean, this is our reference and this
is what we painted. These two might not be
looked as it is, right? They look different in there and also beautiful
in their own way. So when you paint something, you're painting
doesn't need to be exactly same as the reference. It can be anything which
satisfies you. Okay? So if you have got
8. Final Thoughts : So congratulations guys, we did this velvet Paeony in a very easy way using
one sock technique. We have learned a lot of
things in this course from how to do the basic leaves
strokes to pedal strokes, and how to block the background. And by using easier
tricks and tips to create leaves and
everything in detail. After learning the
basic strokes, we started of a final project. Firstly, we painted
some of the leaves, different leaves
we have painted, and we decrease the leaves
by adding fillers and so on. The grass is kind of stuff. Everything in the middle of those leaves we painted
over the peony. So if you learn
the basic strokes by using the tips and
tricks I shared with you, you can definitely feel very easier to paint this
beautiful project. Once you've completed
this painting, please do share your work in our skill share class project. So happy painting guys.
