1. Introduction: Hello, everyone. This is
Nagumina your Krosa tutor. Today, we'll be
seeing gifting ideas. How to make these cute
heart key chains? These heart hair ties. They are a best gifting idea. You can surprise your dear ones with these cute little gifts. This can be done within an hour. Let's get started
and see how to make these heart crochet keychain
and heart hair ties.
2. Crochet Supplies for Heart Hair Tie / Heart Rubber Band: Let's take a look at the
crochet supplies that are required for our hair tie. Today I'll be using
some leftover yarn, so I have taken this color and you'll be needing a hair tie, a pair of scissor. A tapestry needle and a hook. Today I'll be using a
two millimeter hook. You can use yarn of
your own choice. Based on the thickness
of the yarn, you can either increase or
decrease your hook size. When you increase
your hook size, the hair tie which
you are making, you'll get it in a bigger size. If you're reducing the size, then your hair tie will
be smaller in size. Along with this, you'll be
needing cotton for stuffing. We'll be stuffing our heart. We'll be kneading cotton, take some cotton, grab your crochet supplies.
Let's get started.
3. Making the Heart and Filling it: First, let's make a magic ring. Our magic ring is ready, Let's start round number one. Make chain three,
one, two, and three. We have made chain three. After making chain three, I'm going to make triple crochet into this magic ring
for triple crochet, yarn over twice, one
and second time. I have yaned over
twice and now into the magic ring yarn
over and pull through. You'll be having four loops. Yarn over, pull through
the first two loop. You'll be having three loops, yarn over, pull
through the next two. Now we are having two loops, yarn over, pull
through the last two. Our first triple
crochet is ready. Now again, we are going
to make our second one. Now the third one. So we have made one, two, three sets of triple crochets. Now we are going to make
four double crochet. One, two, three, and four. We made four double crochet. Now we are going to make
one triple crochet, soyano twice into the ring. And through first
two and the no pull through the next two and
pull over the last two. We have made the first
half of our heart. We started off by
making chain three followed by three
triple crochets, then by four double crochets and finally one triple crochet. Now we are going to again repeat the same thing we did here. I'll be doing four
double crochets. One, two, three and four. Four double crochets are done. Now we'll be making
three triple crochets. I have made one, two,
three, triple crochets. Now we'll be making chain three, one, two, and three. After making chain three, I'm going to make a slip
stitch into this magic ring. We made a chain three here, followed by one, two, and three triple
crochets and one, two, three, four
double crochets. Again, one triple crochet, followed by one, two, three, four double crochets, and three triple crochets with
a chain three at last. Now after making a slip stitch, pull off this extra yarn
here in the middle. Including the chain
three on both sides, you'll be having a
total of 17 stitches. Now moving on to
round number two. Round number two, into the space between your chain three and
your triple crochet work to single crochet. One and two. I have worked two single crochet and into the next stitch, work three double crouches. Into my first stitch, I worked three double crochets. Into the next two stitches,
we'll be working three, three double crochets now
into my second stitch, W three double crochet. I have made three
double crochets and into my next stitch, I'll be working three
double crochet, one, two, and three. Three double crochets. Now into the next four stitches, work one, one double crochet, one, two, and three. And four. We worked one, two, three, and four double crochets, one, one double crochets
in the next four stitches. Now we have reached the center
point in previous round, we worked a triple

our chain three. Like we did in the beginning, we are going to make two

sizes and in different colors. Instead of this hair tie, you can even attach
a keychain here and make it as a heart keychain, very cute, very fluffy
heart keychain is ready. A very fluffy hat tie is ready. They are looking nice. If
you want a bigger one, then you can increase
the hook sizer. In case if you need
a smaller one, then this one we made then
reduce the hook size.
5. Crochet Supplies for Heart Keychain: For our crochet heart keychain. I'm using this yarn, and this is a leftover yarn. I'm using the blue collar yarn, and I'll be using a
two millimeter hooker, a pair of scissor
tapestry needle and some cotton for
stuffing and your keychain. Grab your crochet supplies. Let's see how to crochet
this hard keychain.
6. Making the Heart and Filling it: Let's start by
making a slip knot. My slip nought is ready. Now I'm going to
chain ten, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and ten. After making your ten chains, we are going to skip
this first chain and into the second chain, work one single crochet. Into the next ditch
work, a single crochet. I have made nine sets of single crochet and a chain
one won't be counter. Now what I'm going to
do is I'm going to work a chain one and I'm
going to turn my work. Now into each single crochet, I'm going to work
one single crochet. We are having nine
single crochets into each and every stitch, we'll be working
one single crochet, into the first stitch, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight and finally, nine Again, we made nine single crochets. Now we have made two rows, make a chain, one, and turn it. We are going to work
six more rows of this single crochet or a total of eight rows of single crochet. Make one single crochet
in each and every stitch, I'll meet you at the end

Now turn your work. Now, what I'm going to do
is into the fifth stitch. So we have here one, two, three, four, and five. Here is my fifth stitch. Here we are going to
work eight triple Grochs So one, two, three, four. Work four more triple
crochets into this space. I have made eight sets
of triple crochets. Now what we are going to do is into the ninth stitch over here, work a single crochet. Now it's done, first curve
of our heart is ready. Now again, we are going
to work triple crochet. That is where we
are going to work is one, two, three, four. Here we are going to work with. Again, here, we'll be working
eight triple crochets. One, two, three, four, Now, work the remaining four
triple crochets over here. I'll meet you once it's
done, I have finished it. Here also we have eight sets of triple crochets
here to eight hit triple crochets now into

7. Attaching the Heart to a Keychain: Now let's attach our tapestry

key chain over here. A I have secured it nice and tight. Now I'm going to
insert my hook here. Insert your hook and bring it down near this point over here. Tighten it to get the
shape of our heart. Okay. So let's cut off
this yarn over here. Our heart keychain is ready
and it's looking nice. Our heart keychain is ready. Instead of joining the two piece of hearts with a single crochet, you can even use a tapestrn
needle and you can join the hearts after you
fill the void space. In this keychain, instead
of attaching a keychain, you can even attach
a hair tie over here and use it as a
crochet hair tie. For reducing reducing
the size of your heart, you have to either
increase or decrease the number of chains
which we started. In case, we started
here with ten chains, I skipped my first chain and
I worked with nine stitches. You can increase it if
you need a bigger heart. How many number of rows you do that much number of triple
crochets you have to work up. The number of rows
depends on your number of triple crochets which
we are working here. By that way, you
can increase and decrease the size of
your heart key chain.
8. Class Project: For class project, you can try these hard ties in different
sizes and different colors. They can also use
the same method of making this heart and they
can use it for a key chain. For this key chain, you can try it in different
sizes and you can also try by attaching
