If you watched my previous classes and experienced artists, probably here you can find an inspiration and new ways how to create urban illustration. We see pupil your class project. We'll go next way into CT using the tips and brushes said, I gave you today. I will use Procreate for this class. We use iPad and Apple Pencil. So if you have it or some other drawing pets or just regular watercolor paper and pains. Please join our class and good luck.
2. Creating paper: So guys, let's get started. And first of all, we need to create texture paper. And I included our textured paper, Elana. These are watercolor brushes and color palette and my sketch into projects and resources section. You might go there and download all my previous guys. Please note said if you need to download a free piece, you might open them in browser, not in Skillshare app, because in this case, my previous might not be reasonable. So please go to Safari or Chrome, open my class there. And in the right corner and does the headline, the resources, you will see all my freebies. Okay, sorry. Before we create texture paper, I want to show you all of my favorites that I actually have. Well, and first step was we should do, is we're going to go ahead and tip plus and tap last again. And after said, we need to switch from pixels into inches. And the right 9, 11 inches at 300 DPI resolution and maximum layers to dry, you might have to use 56 tab Create. So now we will rotate our paper and I will create a couple of new layers. And After said, I will go to my download folder where I already downloaded all my previous soy de to you. I hope so. And you might also download texture paper in a camera roll. So please check it. It can be in downloads folder or in camera roll. So let's get started after Actions, tap, Add, and if your texture paper, he's in camera roll, you need to tap, Insert a photo. If it's in downloads folder, you need to tap, insert the file. After that, I will rotate our paper and fit discrete. And as you might see, my paper to size of my canvas is slightly weaker. Send my paperwork. What should you do in z squared? Just move out paper to the edges. And those same here. A key called bisulfate guys, this paper is one of the papers that I created recently. It's called waterfall chart. If you want, you can check my other papers. I have recently created five different texture papers, and I've alluded to link in description of my class. You might go and check it if you want, of course. Okay, after as a field of liquid to our layers. And after i o speech to Linear Burn and bowerbird. Next step, 0s, I will duplicate leaner burn mode, 2 times layers. And After I will merge together, the same is Color Burn and mark set together. Act said, I have a lower self positive, our linear burn mode, hello 50, 60%. And those series colorbar. Summer here. Like said. After that, I selected two layers and I will press Group. And after idle temporary name. And next steps that we should remember guys, is we should paint and the nice texture paper. So it's very important because if you paint a bows, a paper group layer, our texture, our watercolor texture, node B, we support this. Next step. What we should do is I will tell you what is our color pellet in our graph. The next thing that we're going to do is, I will show you what we have in our brush said and what we have in color palette. So speaking about brush set, that has a branch sets, it is calls to read and hear it created new color brushes, watercolor brushes. I'll show you them. So for example, as the first one is called goose crop, this brush can help you to add some texture and add some shades to your painting. I do like it. I created it recently. If you press harder, you will have more pigment and you will have more texture. And I like Legos with looks like an actual SMD quarter car. And next priors that I created, it's got more lapis lazuli. And this is just simple splatters that we need and that we might add to our painting and adds more like beautiful watercolor look. With the other brushes that I already know is ours are Bu, oriental dry brush for add in some lines, strokes and shades. I'm going to use it as a shape. And a lot of times today, MOOC or for color small, sub-branch care can help you to add different watercolor color variations. As you see you when we blend colors, it looks great. And when we mix colors looks pretty authentic. As, as, uh, branches pool or Paul brush. One more watercolor brush that I also added to some of my previous classes. And watercolor background, the brush get can add, help us to add some shades. So blue, lapis, lazuli, you already know this branch. Mercury six depends for anterior layer brushes or three brushes are native Procreate brushes. So now you know everything about brushes at v have and we're going to use today. Once again, you may know a lot of those practice in projects and sources section. And speaking about as a color balance is fine. It's called crowded street. And Rihanna use those colors today and buys away. Today. I will teach you, thanks to zap, procreate, how to paint a picture in the 1 perspective. And we have some special tools in Procreate app can help us to ease our job. So now we are ready to create our sketch. And let's go.
3. 1 point perspective : And they said my freebies, you might find reference pictures that I actually added tools of ribose as well. So first of all, you're going to export our reference picture into Procreate. Because when you proceed, what we're actually paying to. So how are we going to do is advance to tap action, to have canvas and after tab reference, paran, after that speech to image. And once again, if you download our image into Camera Roll, just tap input image down. That's our reference picture. Today. We're going to paint the street and we're going to pay and it is breached a simple way. You don't need to have any growlers, Broglie erasers. Yeah, you need them. But I'll show you a way how you can paint it pretty simple and how you can pay and people and feel pretty confident doing sad. So we will move our reference picture somewhere here. We need to seize it clearly. After that guys, once again, via or the new layers at this, underneath our texture paper, we're going to go and grab almost red color. And for things that we'll do is we can start with six per pencil if you want. If you're not sure, you can pan perfectly froms a first-time, or you might grab mercury brush if you're confidently of your painting drawing skills. Okay, yes. Now you know how to export our reference picture. But for today's, For the first part of our class for explanation how to paint a picture in a one-point perspective, we actually need to have this picture on our Canvas, jazz during the first part of our class. So what I will do in this way, I will create paper about texture group layers. Why I'm doing that? Because I don't want to have my reference picture texture. So first step, I will turn off our reference picture for now. Later we will return to this part and either rotate our paper. There's a vertical because as you just saw on our reference picture, vapor, our reference picture is worth to come not horizontal. So I create a schwannoma layer above our paper group layers. After that, I need to tap, Add, and insert a photo, and now I and export our reference picture into the canvas. Like said, next step, I go fit to screen our picture. So we experts at our reference picture and what I was talking about. We placed our reference picture about our paper group layer. And now I will show you what will happen if we move our layer, our reference picture on the nice out paper layer group. And as you might see, our picture turned into water color picture. So it's not what we need right now. I will move our layer back, and now I'll paint that is above our paper layer group. I lovers out by city legs. By the way for now or we don't need our texture paper, so I will turn it off. I have a lower South Pacific even more flex head. So as a next step is, as I told you earlier, Procreate has special tool set can help you to paint one-point perspective picture in a pretty simple way. So I haven't yet to tap action, tap Canvas, to have drawing guide, edit, drawing guide. After that switch to perspective. And you guys, as you see, dependent on our vanishing point you might place It's all neurons can be in the center. It can be sombre from this part. And then this way also lions are like aimed to this point or it can be sound where it behind our Canvas and you'll not see it. But actually in our case, vanishing point, our main point, we'll be in a center because as you might see from this point, all our lines, they said trying to go beyond the edges. And as you see, z, distance between the lines here will be thicker if you can severely bit closer comparing to this part here, the distance is pre-built white. Okay, perfect. So once again, keep in mind, tried to make your lines produced, seek, and try to move to the blue color. So as a problems or other things that might prevent you from paint and beautiful artwork is at my new tech done. You mistake can lead to, can tap like just a wide color. And as this way it's not clear where are also slides. So please be careful and move your arrow. There's a blue color, dark enough. The tap Done. Now is you see we have vanishing point. We have our, our picture, our artwork, our reference picture. And we need to create one ML they're about. And as I told you, you have 6-bit pencil and now I will teach you how to paint objects. How to actually paint a picture in one-point perspective way. Probably I will grab mercury brush in order to show you just a clearly what we are paying. So once again, we have vanishing point here. And from this point, all our objects, they're aimed to this point, Zach going froms this point, and they're trying to go beyond the lines. And as you see, I'm falling into lines here. Same here is like we have like x, some kind of like that. And as you see is a, all of them aim is to meet in a certain point in 1 for all lines. It means if we have, you see this board, it also bill aimed the CO2s point, same way, six fans. Saying resist fans. Although Sam say we'll meet in just one particular run certain point sample is this part of the building. And as you might see it, I am fallen and July, I can now have a knowledge that all our objects Zaha, aimed to meet in one particular point. And it's called one-point perspective even. And now runny nose, this rule. He knows it all objects are aimed to meet in one particular point, how to paint our objects. And when we actually pin urban sketch illustration, how to choose the proper buildings. Should we paint all over it, or we should pay in just some particular main parts. Well guys, it's all up to you, of course. But as you remember, this is urban sketching illustration. It means that we go outside. We just walk around and probably we can notice very beautiful view. So in this way we'll see it and we'll sketch it briefly. We don't have so much time because people are walking. Maybe it's hard, maybe you don't have so much time, maybe it's not comfortable to sit in that area. So most likely you don't have so much time to paint all those in details. That's why we need to choose some main objects that can draw our attention, that can add. I don't know, some emotions, beautiful fill in when people look at your picture when you finish it, of course. So in this way, we don't understand what is important, what is not important. And as you might see at this painting, let me lower. So positive up, so slides, I will make some like sad, create one mole. So in this picture is a main, of course, is a main objects and not just objects him and objects and subjects began about subjects. And those are people. So people just cut in a center of our attention. So what are the other things that we need to paint, of course, is always built in from the sides, east side, and also maybe this is a name of the store. And those wires, it's important. But I like my previous class about Arbus kitchen, where we paint everything so well detailed. Let's things that we don't have so much time and we are somewhere in the street and we need those catch it quickly. So in this way, we need to understand what should we do it first, video second, and so on. So first of all, we need to see the pain pupil, of course. And I will tell you more about that, how to paint people quickly, a little bit later. But for us we'll talk about buildings, how to paint, built it. And as we all know, people, buildings, everything around us is some basic shapes. It's going to circle. It can direct, tangible or extending goes triangle, whatever. Speaking about our density, so rectangles. And if you need to know how the planes improperly and thanks, does Alliance we know where to stop? What is the angle of our lines? And I will show you now is add. Once again, you don't need to have ruler to pay in the alliance might not be like straight. It's completely fine. First of all, we'll pan through technical summary here. But key, this is how rectangle, but as you might see, your pantry tunnel rectangle, but we need to add volume. We need to paint a cube or whatever, something like that. And in this way, how you can use it. So we paint one more line. But here I don't know where exactly and what is the angle of our built-in? Should I do exist or should they pay in line like this? How do you understand? Whereas a proper angle for this line, and as you see remember about is a special option in Procreate where you sees alliance that are aimed to 1. And as you see here, we have already our help from the procreate. And as you see from this point, we might just try to pretend that this is aligned. And on and on, and we just follows at lines. It's already is helping us. And we'll just finish this painting like set. So you don't need xhat line. So you'll just simply erase it. But thanks to this one-point perspective, we know that the angle should be like this. So everything is aimed to this part. For example, maybe you're building is not, it's not that big yet. So for example, it's pretty short. So I will paint this line, this vertical line you see here we have 90 degrees angle and we will erase this far because it's built-in. Let's pretend this building as an onset peak. And as you might see, thanks to this line, thanks to the help from the procreate, we knows it's the angle is because we are following our, our help. We have organs, a line from procreate, it is aimed to meet in 1. So this is our building is as I thin, if you want an easier job and avoid else who might or you don't duplicate. And and more it. And next step you're just uniforms at even free form if you want to make it smaller. Likes ahead and still remember about a line, we need to put it accordingly. Toes are rules. So and probably this Bill W built-in will be slightly smaller. And afters as we grab the eraser and remove the overlap. And the once again, let's make that building look like longer. So you'll return to this previous layer and grab selection tool, grab free form, and move it here. Flex had soviet writer Two buildings. And we can do the same with the other buildings or we can just pay it by ourselves. So I will merge it together, create one more layer and those same. So here as you might see, we have three different buildings and remind to same here. So this is our one part. And they easily remember, here we have 90 degrees. Here we also have 90 degrees. Can we learn, see the ending of the building because of the people? Okay, I do like it now let's return to this part. Let's merge that together, create one more layer. Here. It's a little bit different because we don't have a frond of sybils envisages a backhoe it. And as you might see, we'll just follow the line. Still. Let's pretend this is just a box. And then we need to append built-in accordingly to the box. But the problem is read and see. And actually the whole build NBC just part of it. And lead to spans a line here. Like said. So speaking about z's box, why you don't see is a whole building. Because it's just picture. And now I will understand. So this is just one part of the cube. I'll show you how to paint set. So here we have the QC. This is a front of our house, this house. And summary here we have this, our points are in this area. So that means that all the parts of the cube, you'll be able to go to this part. So remember about 90 degrees, like synthesis, 90 degrees. So this is our building in, here. In our picture we see just this part of the building. So once again, remember that all objects, zone, objects are cubes and I just keep some of them can be rectangles, triangles, pyramids, and as a geometric figures. So now you know what is it? So this is just a part of this cube and it's a M21 point. It can be slightly different. I'll show you. Let's turn it off for a while. So now let's paint a nicer one. Here, for example, we can place our BW up here to this part, to this part. And the pain's a front of the queue. And as you see as a point of our, of our cube will be here, the main point, the vanishing point. And we need to move all our parts opposite cube center. So remember about 90 degrees, so sauce lions to have the same angle. So here's a lioness trade and here's a lioness trade as well. And as you might say, this is our q. So thanks to this vanishing point, we know how to think our cube appropriately. I think, I hope now it's clear and it's easier to understand how the brain objects when we have one-point perspective. So as a next step, let's return to our painting. And let's keep paint. Same, return c whole cube. But we can see just one part of it. I hope it's clear now. And our next step is I will merge together call power lines. I hope now is clear about the building, how to pin building in one-point perspective. So let's talk how to paint people. And it's not just about one-point perspective is to set rules for urban sketching. How to paint people, either turn it off. I'll turn off our drawing guide written need our one-point perspective anymore for now. And now I will explain you how to paint people. So once again, Ranvier seed somewhere outside and receives a beautiful view we see is that people who are working around we don't have is an option to take picture and sketch them from the picture. Of course we can. But for only your legs this way. And you want to actually paint people, walk in through your, like next to you or close to you. So how to take pictures in your head? How to sketch some pretty fast. So in this way, we all need to remember that people is also some basic shapes. And we also can imagine them as rectangles like this. Here we have rectangle and we have all sorts of people. And also we need to remember that this is a very important line, shoulder line. And as you might see, is a boy shoulder lines very straight but girls line It's a little bit it's tilted. Yeah. So after zed, as you remember, we have misuses, shape, what can we do and we have hands. So we might just draw people like Reece alliance and coordinate to the alliance is you see we have the plus here we have hands. And we also painted as a basic shapes. Sam is boy, our case, this is the end of shoulders. And you paint it as a rectangle as well. Here also as a rectangle. And now that we understand that we need to separate legs. So it's also a one line, one line, one line, Same here, lion, lion, one line. And so girl is working and we show it on our picture. Same reason we need to separate like their torso from LAX. And here we have like, this is one rectangle, this is another rectangle. Let's just one more rectangle. So we separated people and pains them into some geometric forms. And as you might see here, is not just a person of his legs, head, and so on. This is a geometric forms that are connected, geometric shapes that are connected with each other. So you also need to remember that. Again. Now you know how to separate people into basic geometric shapes. But what if you don't have time for doing Zed? Since this way? We will turn off our sketching first one. And we can just remember that people without people, we can paint them as just one line. We can add to them. Shoulder line here. We can pant shoulder line. And after that, we'll just try to imitate their shapes. You don't need to be perfect. Just paying like basic details. And you don't need to be accurate because in urban sketching, it's not what people expect you to do. It's completely fine to sketch it like that. And after zed, you've done with this, just erase this part. Say invisible. All you see is that we have shoulder line and we remember that set us apart, feel the rectangle. So we are trying to paint a rectangle from the right and left side from the rectangle we have another rectangles exhaust our hands. And once again, because people are walking, you don't need to be accurate, just painted pretty quickly. And don't forget to connect head as a ball with shoulders and says pretty much eat. You see it's pretty simple but it helps us to pain. So once again, this is a purse to show you how to paint people later when we, when you add watercolor, paintings, would be even better. Or the other one is you may pain people as it geometric forms first. So guys, I hope now it's clear. And let's move to the next part. We are actually going to paint sketch.
4. Drawing sketch: And now it's time to paint our sketch. After I explain you how to actually create this gauge, how door separate our picture into basic shapes. Now we can move to this kitchen part. So we have the options actually. First one is we might have our sketch on our Canvas. We'll create one more layer above. And after that, we need to turn on our drawing guide. And once again, we don't need to be accurate. So as you remember, we will paint the lion here and after line here. So remember about his kitchen parts that when we are outside our lines, I nod, said straight. This is a first option. And the white paint, everything in details. Use it as a way. What you can do is, and I'm going to use a second way, non-self first one is that reader need our reference picture here. And we will delete this part as well. We will create one more layer above, and I will turn on our paper layer. And after I will press Canvas and tap reference. So now we have our reference here from this side. And I will look at that picture and I will try to paint the same picture on our screen. Why we need to address it, because this will help us to practice how to paint out picture properly. This is the first theme, and another one is that we don't need to paint everything in details because once again, as I told you, if we are somewhere outside, we don't have, we simply don't have time for paint in all those details. And once again, I'll grab mercury brush. I will not use our 6-bit pencil because I think it's predefined though, paint our picture without any drafts. But once again, if you are not sure that you are confident enough and your own to paint our picture just for the first time. You might start with a pencil. So first of all, we have our main point. Then from set point, people pay into one line and another line. Sangre here, like set. And in the center we have our CFO who must type paintings. And first, and as you see as their hands bow, our main point line. So I'm going to just simply pains a headfirst forms are one part and goes and goes. Head will be slightly smaller comparing a boy. And remember what I told you. We have a line here. They have a nice line and says area connected together, like sad, add some hair to supply. Once again, it's fine if you would scribble if your lines are not accurate, it's completely fine. And I decided to put our couple somewhere like claws or thought out to the center because I don't want to have some blank spaces. I don't need it. So we have one more rectangle in this area. And as you see, look at the proportions and of his T-Shirt will be slightly lower comparing to the Carol. Daniel says part. Now we have one more rectangle is voice lacks one more rectangle here. And another rectangle. You see it's so simple. So draw people as some kind of shapes, geometric shapes. By the way, guys speaking about the source where I get my reference picture, I found it adds a website, unsplash.com, where you can get some pictures for personal and commercial purposes. You might keep it in detail. So raisins are parts that you don't like? Like say yes and yes. Speaking about our couple later, I want to add more sheets. And you actually can do it right now. Just take the same brush and just add some kind of alliance since this way in this area. And why likes is liner? Because if you press harder, you will have more pigment. So if you're not confident in some lines, don't press at heart. But later, when you are satisfied with what you draw, just go ahead and draw it with a second time. Now you can pay him back and go. I can have her back summary here. And you might just show it again. This is our couple and we finished paintings m. Now let's move to the next part. Let's zoom out this picture. Analysts keep, add in some lines to our, to the rod. First of all, in paintings, a rod and all those buildings. It's fine if your lines are not straight. Because once again, let's just pretend we are Sauron street. And sometimes we just simply don't have time for painting all of it. So now remember we have all our lines. Let's paint our first trick, tentacles is built. I think this is known as a buildings, is it just pipe? But to imitate fans here. Fans in this area. Like sad and I want to paint this beautiful lantern. You might add your own details. You don't need to make everything so straight inaccurate. Here you might have one more building, small one. So I wanted to same from this part as well. And as you might see, once again, eye follows the lines and you need to remember San Francis side to lines will be wider. So an everything is aimed towards a main points of this part will be smaller compared to this one. This area, maybe I'll have lots of shades. So you actually can show them without liner. Sorry guys, if I make some mistakes, I don't know Japanese characters. I like to please cartoons, but I don't know is a character like sad, mad, think, here we have one more row. And I don't want to paint all those houses in details because once again, this is not our main point. I'm trying to show it pretty briefly. Here. We also have some names. Names here as well. Remember about 90 degrees. Yes. If you like, you might let make your own paint in so well detailed. It's up to you, totally up to you if you want to, your unique to do your mind to it. Now there is a lanterns that is behind the boy and his barely see. Becky. Now we might add XOS people to our line. Remember about rectangles. All people are rectangles, squares and rectangles. No size. And this probability it was people I think we don't need anymore. And here I don't want to paint everything like till the end so well detailed. But I need to add those pipes. And as you see wires. So I will paint a line here. Nice, once again, you might use some scribble, so I'll show you how to do set. So we have some wire here in this area. Grab the razor and arousal buyer. To use this wavy lines. Soviet John visit first wire pain to more details and have paint one more building here. So I think what else we have? We have some wire since this area. Actually wire such as like part of Japan in my imagination. And if you like, you might just draw the law buyers, Lexis here in like how it looks. So I'm going to keep it like this. And we have one more line here. And sauce wires are connected. And they are connected resist part as well. Now I think we don't need our 1 perspective grid. And we'll turn off our drawing guide and our lovely crowd. Let think maybe we need to add more wires. And I think that's fine if e2, so nice. Almost out of this I was cage. Now I think it's time to add some kind of shades all around to our sketch. Fail it think it's an area where it's at I and shadow. And you might add more crosshatching like summary here. And yep, that's it, guys. That's pretty much it if you've done without kitsch. Next part is, we're going to add some colors to our painting. And it took this ad of our today's class. If you like, you might add some kind of fans here. So let's move next part by a vehicle to our sketch.
5. Adding colors : So guys, we need to create layer underneath our paper group layer. Remember about to head. Yeah, this is here. Next step is I'm going to go and grab crash. And let's start this up. I'll brush and less. As you see, we already have our color palettes at one, and I will start with grayish color. I want to add some colors. Let's increase the size. One to add some colors to our rod. And once again, don't be so vile detail. You don't need to color everything entirely. Just tiny bit. Okay, Now next step I want to call a crab blender pen. As a blender, I will use Terrell airbrush. And be very careful try not to call beyond the lines. Again. Next tab is actually I want to make it slightly lighter. So it'll go to Adjustments, Hue Saturation and Brightness tap layer and make it a little bit more saturated. Likes us. So next step is I'm going to go and keep adding some details. What is quote about this part is a theatre need to fill everything with just one color. You might not need to fill it with one color at all. Again, next step is let's keep going. And I need to add some colors to this part. Ads filled b tilde be pretty yellowish. Same shade in this part. Remember try to stick to the three main colors. So the first color that we have will be a bluish. And as U1 will be yellowish, it's probably a little bit dark blue color, dark purple, something like SAT. Combined these brownish color, brown color here. In today's class, I will tend to keep lots of overlap means I think it looks great. So later I'll keep headings, the shades and so on. Pick what we usually did to my classes. Here we have more orange color things to the lantern and grabs his dark gray color. Like sad to say we have some pipes hung around and some of them we'll provide some of them not. This pipe also look dark gray. So since building is pretty unique, it has this very dark and it has some dark gray color. And door milk even darker. Now let's return to create color and grab slightly lighter shade. And fields as Harry EPC shape, espouse. Now bluish color. Creases size. Maybe it's a tuple, reddish color. And also reddish color for this lantern. Here and a lighter. Keep add in some details. I think those lines shouldn't be reddish and our fill light, proud. I guess speaking about the row from one side, he had green color. So I'm going to add green color here as well. And dark green in this area. Okay, just perfect. I can't now slide the brown color. Loggers as size and I wanted to add took Brown, I want to add brown frame here. Light brown. Quite proud. And say, Let me think almost our total must black. Same here. Okay, now let's crack. Almost white color. Very close to white color. Here, yellowish. Yellow color all around. To show The reflection of the light. Excited. It's like saying what I did here. So let's keep add-ins OS frames to different parts of Italy, then sends it with this case, his guiltiness, almost pink, dark pink. Okay, now let's add some wires. And so like DNase, I need to add some colors to choose a title, Citizen name Moses Tours had some colors here. Probably slightly lighter. Now let's move to people and this guy. So for this guy, I'm gonna go and create one more layer underneath. I will go and grabs a slide full color, and I will grab or watercolor background brush. And I went to make it brighter. Add more saturation process color. Yeah, like so as a next API is, I'm going to go and color people and that would be secant. So for as a boy, he's check it. Let's return to a couple brush his check it. We'll be wrong. And girls kurt will be all missed call. And she will have dark purple shoes. And dark purple flows. And for boys, it will be dark purple as well. But slightly different shade. I don't want to have some It's the same corpses. And dark brown column must dark blue shoes. Yeah. Okay. Perfect. Now, skin color. Not to forget about that. And once again, you might go beyond cell lines. It's totally fine. His hair is almost black. And her hair, his red hush. And same as a killer who is in front of us. Maybe a little bit reddish. Next ahead. And it's a cup on behind. Boy has almost black color. And go this bond. Now let's keep adding some colors. Twos are closes. Because you'll have almost flourish and go in front of us. She'll rare, let me see. Some red color. I think it took me very, very cool. Yeah. Red color. And this part he'll be okay, ends it, say it guys, vivid and resists part. Now next step is, I'm going to go and add some shades to our paint.
6. Adding shades: Well now it's time to add some shades. And the harvester doing said, we need to remove the transparency from our service layer. Why we need to do is add, because later we need to add chase. So I'll tell you what is it. For example, if we turn off our paper layer and background option, as you see, are we still sees agreed, you sees his creed. It's barely seen, but still it's seen. You see here. So that's five and need to remove the transparency because we need to add more texture, to add more shades. And for that we need to remove semi-transparent. I'll show you one more time. What does it mean? For example, if we press Alpha Lock and later we need to add some shades. For example, I go and grab poor verbal brush. I will grab brown color and if, and maybe darker. And if I need to add shapes, you see, it's barely seen. But we need to have it very, very saturated. So that's why we need to remove the transparency. So I will turn off alpha lock. I'll duplicate the layer. It's so saturated now, higher lovers are acidity or 2030 percent and after marriage set together, create one more layer, CO2, lower layer. Adjustments, hue, saturation, brightness and tap layer in turn now brightness to maximum and replicated three times, merge together and merge together, raise our layers. Now, we can paint on top of our layer, and I'll show you how to set. We'll create one more layer on top and the middle press clipping mask. So that means that now we can band on a top of the layers. It's already is painted and we will not go beyond science. For example, the prep, what are called brash. And now when we pay and you see our shade is so saturated, market, you have two options. You might grab. You go and grab your watercolor background brush and add some shades all around. You see it's very beautiful. Or you might grab an apple, or you might grab both scrub brush. My new one brush said I actually want to try it today. So I'm going to go because this is very authentic and natural causes. Strokes. It's like you grab a watercolor brush. It's a little bit dry and you are trying to add some texture by. So I ran my themes a diver, I will multiply our layer mode to Multiply layer. And as you see as edge means that now our colors are very, very saturated. And I just wanted to show the texture a little bit. Let's go and find another brown color and texture and tone. Shades to all areas where we have brown color. If you press harder, you will have more pigment. Tara layer as a blender. And you might blend if you think it's too sharp or something like that. Clients here. And some brown shade and say, Okay, now let's go and grab this purplish color. And I want to share at some shade here. You just need to show. So shade all around. You don't need to paint. It's like perfectly just in some areas that you think always would be very cool to add some shade here. Example 2 says part. It can be anandamide be pre to predict shark. Can. Now let's move to secure all. And as you see, I forgot to add some colors to her backpack, to her purse, who are bold, brash, and maybe autocrat. X hat is pretty simple to keep add-ins or shades all around. And shade in this area. The lighter. So as you might see, totally imitation like what would happen? What would we have if he could have, like watercolor brush and add a little bit of dry color. Now let's return to our main layer. So in some parts I didn't add colors. So I just want to edit here. Maybe it does his part. Let's return. Then I went to add some shades, says period, brown color. Here I'd have more states, definite layer and lorises size. Make it not so dark. Some dark shades and say scarier, dark brown color and 6 way slightly yellow each. Now ptosis main layer. I can show shade from people. Like sad. Same shade here. Convenient to show you a slide here. You see like you're trying to separate them one from each other. Same in his way. More shades. Some shade from this part. Okay, guys, that's pretty much it. Now, I don't need our reference picture anymore. Our shading. So this is bluish shade, this without shades. If you like, you might replicate it and make it even more saturated, more vibrant. I'm going to keep it like this and merge set together. Next step is guys, I went to enhance, add some color variations, make it even more saturated. Current Rosetta will go oppress hue, saturation, brightness, make it slightly lighter and make it more saturated. The other thing you might go to curse at layer and play around, make it more saturated, less saturated. There is, it's totally up to you. I'm going to keep it like this. If you like, you can duplicate it. Turn off one layer and after play around with color variations in this layer. In this way, you will go to the Gradient Map tab layer. And this is so cool. And just play around and think about colors. It can be like mistake or Greece. In stand. I like this saturated color palette holiness. So it's some kind of monochrome painting. Now exits. When is painting? The other thing you might go to curse and hearing him and make it lighter, brighter. Play with a passive team, make it more saturated, less saturated, and go to hue saturation and brightness. And after you can play with color variation, think what you want to have, what you might have, darker or lighter. So there's, it's up to you. You might play around thinking about Keller's. Think about the options. This is like our original option. You might call it replicated one more time. Go to color balance, tap layer, and also make it you can make it more pinkish or move to greenish color. Remove the yellowish color. See, I guess you have variety of options. What you can do with your painting. And I wish you luck with all your creations guys. Now you know how to paint, sketch, Arbus, cash illustration. Without reference picture. Who is a reference picture? You might stay at home great pictures that you like and just simply trace it or look as a picture and paint your own sketch. And you don't need to have those perfect straight lines, not at all. Or you may just go outside and just look at people around you or look at buildings around you and creates a picture that you like. So guys, as is the end for our class. Happy and thankful, see what you guys create and I wish you luck. This is end of our class.
