1. Welcome to the Class: You're here because
you want to find out more about your personal brand. And there are a
ton of courses out there that help people with
personal branding because even agencies that you can
hire the will charge you ten or $20 thousand to
try and figure out what your values are giving you a logo can help you
with your brand. Now my question is, why do all these different
programs and options often fail to provide people with actual clarity on what
their personal brand is. I would guess this is
not the first time that you've wondered about
your personal brand. Or you may be taken
another course or watched another
video about this. Had no idea what my personal brand was
for the longest time, I was always changing the
slogan on my website, changing my niche,
changing who I served, changing up my marketing
and sales strategies, always just floundering around
like a fish out of water, trying to figure out how to authentically represent
myself online. And it was through this weird
roundabout process that I actually discovered exactly
what my personal brand was. And in this course, I'm going to teach you
that exact process. So what this course is
going to do for you, along with giving you a clear
personal brand statement. Because it's actually
going to provide you with a magical pair of glasses. And with that pair of glasses, you will be able
to put them on and see your entire career
with complete clarity. You'll be able to
understand what drives you. Why do you get up in the
morning and drink coffee and keep reading books and
listening to podcasts. And then you have
this desire to change the world and share
your message and create products and services and programs and promote them to people and put content online. You know, what is the
real driving force underneath all of that way deeper than your
social media strategy, because we're going to
go way deeper than that. And once you can identify
what that is and put it into words and articulated to the best of your ability, only then will you be able to communicate what is an authentic personal
brand statement? And the cool thing is, it's
not just some slogan that you're gonna slap
on your website and feel good about yourself. This is going to be a process
of self-discovery that helps you not only authentically
brand yourself online, but also make strategic
decisions about your business. From here on, before I
went through this process, waking up and looking
at my business and my projects and all the
things I was working on, I just felt confused
and unclear. And after I went
through this process, it was like I put those
glasses on and I was able to see my business and
my entire career with complete
clarity where I was going to go and it
allowed me to stop cleaning so tightly to all those more surface
level strategic decisions that we often Fred over
a lot in our businesses. My name is Brian Elwood. I'm an author
investor and a coach. I achieved financial freedom through real estate investing. And then I spent the next five years coaching and teaching others on how to invest
in real estate as well. And I also serve coaches and experts and help them
grow their businesses. And our grew my real
estate coaching business, as well as my coaching
coaches business to multiple six
figures per year. So this isn't my first rodeo, but I'll be honest with you, throughout the entire time
I've been an entrepreneur, I've been seeking my
personal brand too. I've been wondering, what
am I actually all about? Do I stand for? And how do I really talk
about what I'm here to do on earth in a way that's
actually true with who I am. So if you're somebody who
you are, the business, Your name is the business or
your face is on the website, you are the brand. And this is going to
be the perfect course for you to just excavate what's already there inside of you and articulated with words so
that other people will say, aha, I understand what he or she stands for and is all about. And I'm on board with that. And it's going to draw
the people who believe the same thing as you much
closer to you more easily. So in summary, the only
reason why you may have failed to define your
personal brand in the past, Just because you need
to dig a little deeper to find out who you
are as a person. What is really driving you? What is your
mission? What do you wanna do with your
time here on earth? What do you believe? More than anything,
at the deepest level, we're going to actually
be able to find that within you through the process I'm going to share
in this course. And then you'll be able
to go out and say, Hey guys, this is
what I stand for, this is what I'm all about and that becomes your
personal brand. So I'm really excited that
you're here and thank you for trusting me and I will
see you in the course.
2. What Is a Personal Brand?: So I want to spend a
little bit more time unpacking exactly what
a personal brand is. Because if you don't understand
what we are going for, what we're trying to
achieve in this course, then the whole thing
will be a waste of time. So this is the definition
that I've found for personal brand on the
website, personal brand.com. It personal brand is a widely recognized and largely
uniform perception or impression of an individual
based on their experience, expertise, competencies,
actions, and or achievements within a community industry
or the marketplace at large. So the two words that
I want to focus in on there are perception
and impression. So think about
that for a second. If your brand is the
perception people have a view than a course on personal branding could never give you a personal brand
because this course isn't by itself going to change the perception that other
people have of you. A perception that
people have about you is actually secondary. It is a byproduct
of an experience that they have with you
online or somewhere else. And the truth is,
is that you cannot control the perception that
other people have of you. You can only control the
way that you show up and present yourself
and then other people, the market, your
customers are going to develop their own
perception of you. That is ultimately what your
personal brand will be. Again, the only thing
you have control over is the way that
you show up and then your brand will
manifest itself as a byproduct of the way people
perceive you showing up. Alright, now I
want to talk for a second about the definition of personal branding from
the same website, personal brand.com. I've found this definition. Personal branding is the conscious and
intentional effort to create an influence public
perception of an individual by positioning them as an authority
in their industry, elevating their credibility
in differentiating themselves from the competition to ultimately advance
their career, increase their
circle of influence, have a larger impact. So let's focus in
on those words, conscious and intentional
effort to create an influence public perception. Now, while this
statement is true, we are here to influence the perception or impression that other people have of us. I want to be really careful here because the number one
thing we don't want to do is create a
perception of us that is untrue or inaccurate. The last thing we wanna do
is be somebody were not. In fact, they found that being inauthentic is actually a
recipe for unhappiness. In 2014, researchers at Louisiana Tech University
published an important study in which data were collected
from college students about their levels of authenticity
and life satisfaction. Their results showed
that those who showed greater authenticity were more satisfied months later
with their lives. This and other similar
evidence points to the conclusion that authenticity is a way of being
that leads to happiness. When I hear about
somebody trying to control or manage
their image online, I can't help but wonder
if they're trying to create a version of themselves that isn't actually true to who they really are. Because come on, we all
know somebody who's different on Instagram than
they are in real life. To me, the idea of trying to control or manage
my image online. It sounds stressful. Honestly, it sounds fake, and I don't want that
for you as well. I actually want the opposite because I want you to be happy. And we know that being happy
comes from being authentic. So this course is actually
going to help you find a deeper level of authenticity about who you are and how you want to show
up that is aligned. So there is no two versions of you like the real you and the person you are
trying to be online when those two become one. That is, when not
only do you have a lot more fun here, happier, but people also resonate with your content more
because they can see that you're being real. So at the end of the day, all you have to do is discover who you are at your deepest, most authentic level, and then just be that person
in your business. The perception of other
people have of you will be as close to what is
real as possible. Now again, you can't control the perception that other
people will have a view. But if you're showing
up and you're being authentic and
your being you, that is the best
thing you can do. And then the byproduct of that, aka your brand will be as close as possible
to being accurate. So I hope that takes some
pressure off of you to control or manage anything. Once you're being
your authentic self, everything will fall
in line from there.
3. Social Media is Not Your Brand: A lot of these
branding courses will say branding for Instagram, branding, for YouTube,
branding for your website. And I want to point out something
related to that because those things are really just megaphones to get
your brand out there. Once you figure out
your brand, yes, you can go on Instagram and
tell other people about it. But Instagram is not your
brand and neither is your social media strategy or the way that your posts
look or anything like that. It's deeper than that. So don't worry too much about social media or anything that's
more surface level until you do a deep dive of self-discovery and really figure out who you are and
what you stand for. I promised you want
you really see it. You're gonna be like,
oh, my personal brand is way deeper than just a social media
platform or my website. So if Instagram is a megaphone to get your
personal brand out there, then it makes sense to figure out what the
personal brand is. First, it doesn't make sense to polish up the megaphone painted, put some stickers on it, change the color
when the message is coming through the megaphone
is muddy or unclear. We want to figure out what
that message is first, and then you can choose
the megaphone of your choice to communicate
it to the market. So if you really
want to figure out your personal brand
once and for all, you're going to have
to slow down and go deep with me for a moment. We're going to have to
dig deep and figure out how you became
who you are today. What experiences did you have in the past that caused
you to believe or think about the world a
certain way and really shaped or
birth the mission or the Y that has you here
today watching this course because you want to figure out more about your
brand communicated. And you probably want
to sell things that are going to change lives and make
a difference in the world. If you've ever seen
a paleontologist excavate a dinosaur fossil, then that's similar to
the process that we're going to go through
in this course. They sit there with a little
brush and the brush all the dirt off of the fossil
very slowly and carefully. And over time, the
fossil out of the dirt reveals itself in full view. This is an analogy for
the same process we're going to use to uncover
your personal brand. So just like the
dinosaur fossil, your personal brand and your Y, your mission has been
there all along, but it may have been covered up or muddied by other things. And so this process is going to take that brush like
the paleontologist has slowly dig away and excavate it and bring
it into full view. This course is not
going to create your personal brand because your personal brand
already exists. It's just going to
help you find it. Then once you see it and you have that aha
moment and you say, that's it, that's
my personal brand. I'm gonna show you how to
actually put words around that. And then those words
can go on your website. They can go in your videos and your e-mail signature
and the post that you write and the e-mails that
you send or the species that you give in many
different formats. But it will be authentic
to who you really are. And that is going to shape your authentic personal
brand once and for all.
4. Your Brand = Your Why: So this whole journey
started for me when my business coach
asked me one day. So what's your mission? And I kinda blurted out
some answers like, Oh, it's to provide freedom
for me and my family. And you kinda sat there
with a puzzled look. And I can tell that both he and I knew that wasn't
really there was a deeper mission or
purpose inside of me that drove me to do
everything that I do. So I decided to devote
some time to try and to figure out the answer
to his question. And I had heard good
things about this book, start with Why by Simon Sinek. And so I grabbed it
because I was like, man, maybe a y is the same
thing as a mission. And maybe this book
can at least give me some insight what my mission, my wife, or my purpose is. Now once I've finished
reading this book, I had deemed it the best
business book I have ever read, and I liked it so much
that I got assignments. Other book called Find your why. And this is more of a
workbook that actually walks you through the
process of finding your why. Now, once I went through Simon's entire process
and I discovered my y, that was when I had the
aha moment and I said, this is what a personal
brand is like. Finding your why is the same thing as finding
your personal brand. This is the missing link that everybody has been looking for. I just don't know if people have actually made that
connection between finding your why and finding
your personal brand. But I'm going to show
you how those are ultimately the same thing. So instead of trying
to explain what a personal brand is any further, I'm now going to share three stories with
you from my past that shaped my why and who I am and what my personal
brand is today. Now as we get into this, you might be like this
is kinda a little weird. You're sharing all this deep personal stuff with me, Brian. And by the way, why are you talking about yourself so much? Well, I want to share my exact process of how I identified my own
personal brand. And I think that's
really going to help the light bulb switched on
in your mind and be like, oh, now I see what
he's talking about. Once we do that, then I'm going to provide
you with the worksheet and the exact process for
you to go through that and do that for your
personal brand as well. So as you watch the
next three videos, please do one thing for me. Look for common
patterns and themes. Do you see a theme
that is across all of the three stories
that I'm going to tell. If you can find that, then you're going to
have identified my y, my mission, or my
personal brand. Then we're going to dig into your top three stories
from your past. And we're going to find
that common thread as well. And that's when your personal
brand is going to emerge.
5. Story #1 - Struggling With Anxiety: So my first story has to
do with me experiencing anxiety and depression
and trying to overcome. So starting in my twenties, I started to get panicky. Sometimes I remember sitting in a college class one
time and just feeling really nervous and it's
almost like my vision was distorted and it's like What
in the world is going on. It was like my
first experience of what I think was a panic attack. And I would also feel down
sometimes for no reason. Like I play guitar and sing at restaurants and patio sometimes. And I was playing a gig
with a friend and I was just down the whole night
not saying anything. There was no energy and my
performance whatsoever. And the next day I felt fine again and I
apologize to him. And I said, I don't
know what was in to me last night,
but I'm sorry. It won't happen again. And I wanted to figure out what was going on with me because, you know, 80% of the
time I would feel good. And then the other 20%
of the time that'd be anxious or depressed. And I knew I could go to the doctor and they would
prescribe me with some pills. But I really wasn't
interested in a Band-Aid solution like that. I wanted to figure out what
the core cause of things like anxiety and depression were so that I can eliminate
them once and for all. During that time, I was studying abroad in Sydney for a semester. And my brother
recommended a book to me called The Power of
Now by Eckhart Toll. Now that book talks
about watching your thoughts, being present, watching the thinker and kinda disk identifying
from your mind. And so I started to sort of step back and look at my thoughts as the witnessing
presence instead of being caught up in
them all the time. Now what I learned from
that was that right before I would have
anxiety or depression, I would actually
have some thoughts that triggered that state and it went away when
I was able to step back and really watch
those thoughts. Then getting anxious or getting depressed started to
happen a lot less. And it actually started
to feel like I had control over my state. And so I learned
to this practice of washing my thoughts and being more present and dropping into my body a lot more often, and breathing and yoga and meditation and
all these things. And I wouldn't say it made me some enlightened
master by any means, but it helped me to just be a lot more grounded
and present things like anxiety and depression went
from like an eight out of ten down to like a two
or a three out of ten. And it stayed there ever since. So for me, I learned that the core cause of my
anxiety and depression, the thoughts that were
going on in my brain. Now once I discovered this, I just had to share with anyone
else who was struggling. So I bought copies of The Power of Now and a new earth which is
XR tools, other book. And I gave them out to
friends, family, clients, anyone that I knew just
because I wanted to help them not experiencing anxiety
or depression, either.
6. Story #2 - Trying to Cure Eczema: Okay, my second story
involves me getting eczema. Eczema is this itchy, rash, light condition and it was
on my arms and my legs. And it even got infected at 1. And it was really embarrassing. And I would wear long sleeves and long pants to cover it up. Even though I was living
in Tennessee at the time, you know how hot
those summers are. It was just embarrassing
and it was even hard for me to be intimate
with my girlfriend. And I was miserable. And I went to the doctor at a very reputable clinic
to get help with this. And as she says to me, Have you ever tried
using lotion? And that was it. And she prescribing
an antibiotic to help clear up the infection. And I was kinda ****** off
because I knew that a lack of lotion was not the
real reason why I was getting eczema knew
there was something deeper. There was suddenly causing
my skin to flare up. So I dove deep into
figuring out what this was. And I actually had
to spend months studying this before I
could find the answer. And I learned that
when the cells of our guts become toxic enough, they actually start to
treat normal food is a foreign invader
and they send out these inflammatory markers
in the bloodstream, the lodge under the skin
Cause eczema to appear. So I learned that the core cause of my eczema was actually my unhealthy diet though
is leading to a toxic gut, which then led to the eczema. So the cells of my gut had become so toxic
that I was actually allergic to everyday foods like chicken and watermelon
and chocolate, which sucks because it's like
my favorite thing to eat. So one night I'm staying over at my parents house and
I see this book on their coffee table
called eat for health by Dr. Joel Furman. I picked it up and started
flipping through it. And I got so sucked into this book that
it actually stayed up until three or four AM and finished the entire
thing in one night. And the book stress
the importance of a high nutrient diet. And so I started to
follow its advice. I started to drink a lot
of green smoothies and green juices and eat salads and vegetables
and things like that. And within no time at all, my health totally transformed. Not only did I feel way better, but my eczema slowly
started to disappear. And within a matter of months, I was able to re-introduce all the old Foods
back into my diet. And I have been eczema
free ever since. So now it is, I just
make sure to get around 80% of my calories
from high nutrient foods. I'm still down for
some pizza and beer, but I want to get
my smoothies into. Now once I had
gone through that, I was really excited to share
with other people because I know a lot of other people are struggling with similar things. So I started a blog, I bought copies of that
book and gave it to people. I even bought a
blender for one of my friends and I went and taught classes for free in Nashville, tennessee on nutrition and health at different
schools and whatnot. I was just really
passionate about sharing what I know and helping people learn how to
make smoothies so they can get their nutrition
in and an easy way, a lot of my family members started eating
healthier as a result, they got off their
medications, they lost weight, and it just spread
like rapid-fire once people started
to understand how to eat so that you could
avoid disease and eczema and auto-immune
conditions and things like that.
7. Story #3 - Escaping Corporate America: Okay, Story number three involves good old
corporate America. So after I graduated college, I spent a few years in
corporate America working at a healthcare company
and I was miserable. I just couldn't
stand waking up and going to sit in a cubicle
all day, every day. And so I just suddenly quit. I said enough is enough. I'm depressed and I hate this and I've got to go
figure out what I'm gonna do with my
life to actually be happy and enjoy my day. I get a job at a grocery
store making $8 an hour, which which makes no
sense financially. But I needed to figure
out what was next. At the grocery store, I met a young guy who
flipped houses for a living and he always
had this freedom. He just strolled around
the grocery store where and is flip-flops. He always had time to
talk and I just wished I had control over
my time like he did. So I dove deep into
real estate investing. I read all of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad books and above this guy enough where
he agreed to actually mentor me and he helped me
learn how to find houses. And I would find
houses and then turn the person over to him and he would pay me a finder's fee. And I did that about
eight times over and slowly learn the process over
the course of about a year. And then I went out
on my own and started a fix and flip business
and ultimately bought a few dozen rental
properties and achieve financial freedom because I had enough passive income
to cover my bills. Then once I achieved that, it was really hard
for me to watch. My friends continue to sit in traffic on their commutes
to work like I had. And so I decided to start
an online coaching business and a podcast where I helped other people by
rental properties. So I did that and I ran that business for
about five years. I helped hundreds of students
by their first handful of investment properties and many of them became financially free, has a result of initially
going through that program.
8. My Why: Okay, We're almost
done talking about me because I want to get to you. But first I want to ask you, did you notice any
themes are repeating patterns when you heard those three stories
that I just shared, here's the pattern
that I noticed. First of all, I encounter a challenge or a
problem in my own life. Second, I dig deep and search hard to find the real solution. Third, I apply that to my own situation and
make sure that it works. And for I turn around and
share with other people. So to put it more simply, I seek wisdom, apply wisdom, and then share wisdom. So my why is to empower
people like you with wisdom so that we can all
reach our greatest potential. That drive to keep learning
and then applying and sharing keeps repeating itself
over and over in my life. And that's ultimately
what drives me to get out of bed in the morning
and gets me excited. And even this course
is an example, right? I couldn't understand my wife
or my mission or my brand. And then I dove deep
and researched it, and I applied it to my
personal situation. Once I found what worked, I wanted to share it and I, so I made this course. I want people like you to have the best information at
your fingertips so that you can shortcut your
path to achieving all your goals and reaching your greatest potential in life. Now, after you heard all those stories and
my why do you feel like you've bonded with me
a little bit or do you feel like you understand
me on a deeper level? And maybe if you believe some
of the things I believe, then you're drawn a little more closer to me than you
were in the past. I want you to imagine
now that we find your why and then help you
share with your audience, just like I have for
you that is going to help your audience
know what you stand for. And the people that
are all about that are going to be drawn
to you like a magnet. So I hope you're excited
because in the next section, we're going to dive in and figure out your
top three stories, just like I did for mine. And then look for
those patterns and themes that are within them.
9. What This Process Will Be Like For You: Alright, it's time
to find your why. Hope you're excited. I know that when I first
encountered this process, it felt like a lot of work. Sometimes I want to
avoid that deep work and polish up my Facebook
group or whatever. But I promise you
that if you slow down and really take
the time to do this, that is going to just
pull back the veil on everything in relation
to your personal brand, your y, and your mission and why you're here to do what
you're doing on Earth. This process that
I'm going to share. I have learned from this
book, Find your why. So I definitely want
to give Simon Sinek a shadow and credit
this process, but I definitely recommend
that you get both of his books start with
y and then this one, find your Y as well. It's just a really solidify your learning about
this whole process. Now your y comes from a set of experiences
that you've had in life now they can be good
experiences or bad experiences, but either way, they
caused you to believe a certain thing or to think
a certain way about life. So all we have to
do is identify what those key moments in your
past were there really shaped who you are today and then what is the meaning
behind those events? And when we dig in and we
find the meaning and we find the pattern that goes across
the different moments, then your y and your
brand will emerge.
10. How to Find Your Why: Now before we begin download the worksheet which lists out all the steps that
we're going to take. And it also includes space
for you to write in, which will make this
whole process a lot easier to follow. Step number one, I want
you to make a list of all the stories from your past that had a big
impact on your life. I think of like what
were those moments that changed everything
for you and remember, it can be good things
that happened to you as well as bad. So just write out a list, not the entire story, but just a few words to
label the story and try to get 20 or 25 stories on paper. And your first go at this step number two
is I want you to eliminate the less
meaningful stories until you are down
to just three. That's right. So go through them and
just start to slash the ones that had a lesser
impact on your life. Keep doing this until you get down to you what you feel are the top three game changing
moments that really changed everything for you and made you who you are today. Step number three is you're
actually going to tell your top three stories to a trusted partner
in a quiet space, an introvert, I'm sorry, but you are going to need to get someone else involved in this. Simon does not recommend trying to analyze
your own stories. Instead, getting an
objective viewpoint on them. So find someone
who's really good at listening and asking
reflective questions and helping you find
the meaning behind these stories can maybe
a good idea to have them go back and watch the
videos about my stories and my resulting y so they understand what you're
going for here. And it also recommend that
you block off anywhere from two to three hours
for this session, step four is you're going
to ask your partner to identify the patterns and
themes from your story. So when you're done, you're both going to take ten
minutes and write down what you felt were the patterns
or themes from your stories. Then when you're done, you and your partner are going
to compare notes on what you came up with and start to shape
your y from there. Step number five is to
draft your while statement. So you're going to actually take your first stab at putting words behind your why and
you're going to use the format this
Simon recommends, which is two contribution
So that impact, think about what is the contribution that
you are here to make? And what impact will that contribution have on
the world using that format? Take a shot at drafting your first version of your y's state to
give you an example, let's say there
was somebody named Heather and her stories all had a common thread of showing empathy when it was needed most. So her why statement
can be something like to raise our level of empathy so that we can create a connected
world full of love. Now one final piece of advice, don't worry about
getting this perfect. Your goal is just to put down your first draft of
your why statement. Really the only way that you can refine and hone it
until it's right, is actually by telling
it to other people, telling it to your audience, telling it on social media. And then you can
play with the words and find what feels right. But if you get it like 70% of the way there on your first
shot and you're doing fantastic and you can fine-tune it over weeks and months
to come from there. Congratulations guys. You have discovered at your why. I'm excited for you. Because if you've gone
through this process, I hope it's pulled back veil
for you like it did for me and really helped you
see what you stand for. I know from having calls with my clients that when
they really find there, why like you can
in this process, their eyes light up. It's like they've found
something that was lost for a long time. It was missing and they
finally got it back. And it just brings so much clarity to why you're
here in the first place.
11. How to Use Your Why: So now that you have
your y, that's cool, but what do you
actually do with it? Well, I wanted to have a
section to actually show you how you use this string of words and this new level of understanding that we have
developed in this course. So first of all, you
can use your why to let your audience know
what you stand for. Again in our previous example, if your Heather and you're
here to raise our level of empathy so we can live in a
connected world full of love. Then you can open up
your YouTube video. With that, you can say, Hi guys, I'm Heather and I make these
videos because I want to raise the level of empathy that we have for others
as human beings, we can create a more
connected and loving world. And today, in order
to help do that, I have three tips on,
blah, blah, blah. When you open with your
wildlife that it's like, whoa, it's attention grabbing and
it immediately goes deep and it helps people understand
you on a deeper level. Anyone else who
believes in raising our level of empathy and
creating a more connected, loving world, is going to
absolutely love Heather and subscribe to our channel and make sure they watch
our next video. And so different versus
just going right into your spiel about
your top three tips. You know, this reminds me of Steve Jobs and how he would get onstage and he would
say, were the rebels. And we think differently, and we don't follow
the status quo that attracted a mob of people
who believed what he believed and really birth
the entire culture of Apple really hurt the brand or the image of what Apple is. Because remember, a brand is other people's
perception of you. And so letting people know what you believe and
what you stand for really is the entire reason why you discover your brand
in the first place. Number two, you
can use your Y as the overarching vision
for your business. Like my wife, for example, is to empower people
with wisdom so that we may all reach
our full potential. Now that's a very broad umbrella under which I can
do a lot of things. It's like how can you
help people reach their full potential by
sharing wisdom with them? You could write books, you can create courses. You could create a YouTube
channel or a podcast, or started coaching program, or a million other
things, right? But all of them are going to help empower people with wisdom, help people hit higher
levels and reach their greatest potential
here on earth. And once I discovered my wife, I was like, There's lots of
ways I can fulfill this. And the ways that I
choose don't really matter as much as I
thought they did. What matters is the
why the ultimate goal at the end of the day, number three, you
can use your Y as inspiration for your products. If your y is all about creating a more connected
and loving world, then you could create a book
on parenting from the heart. And it was about connecting
with your children. You could create a course called connected leadership that helps executives connect
with their teams and lead at higher
and higher levels. You could create a coaching
program that helps men or women connect with their
spouse on a deeper level. So you can see
that that theme of connection is the
golden thread that weaves its way through all the different products and services that you will create. Integer why it is your brand, is your mission, it is
what you stand for. And then the specifics about exactly what niche or exactly
what course are, what book. Those can be held with a
looser grip because they're all ultimately achieving
the overall goal. Lastly, number four,
you can use your why to make strategic decisions
for your business, for example, if my why is to
empower people with wisdom. So we may all reach our
greatest potential. If I'm going to take on a new
project, I can say, well, will this project help empower
people with wisdom or not? And if it's not
really gonna do that, it's not going to push the
mission forward and exemplify the brand that I stand for and be in alignment with who
I am and what I wanna do, then I can simply say
no to that project.
