1. Introduction & Course structure: Hello. This is Jenny. I have reoccurring tutor since 2010. Besides tutoring Korean, I also works as a Korean and Chinese interpreter in the Korean company. I love teaching. And I enjoyed meeting new friends very much wild teaching. So someone might be cures. Why? I decided to make this course. To be honest, I have a lot of friends who want to travel to Korea. And the common situation is that they are so worried. Before they go, they will always ask me. Jenny, I don't know any Korea. Is it okay if I go? If I cannot communicate with them, what should I do? At that moment? I will always tell them some useful sentences would travel early. One day, I thought Okay. Why not make a course to help more people learn those useful expressions And that's why you see this course. So I made this course into four parts for foresee tuitions in the restaurant in the hotel, asking for directions and shopping. And in this course we will see the first part which is in the restaurant 2. The Korean Alphabet: if you have never learned Korean before. Police visit language sky dot com slash intro for resources on how to read and pronounce hunger or the Korean alphabet. 3. in the restaurant - sentence 1: Cintas one. You go. Hey, uh, Eagle, just a, uh here we will learn to new Worse. They're very eating. The first new word is Eagle. Eagle Eagle means this thing this think. But to be honest, it is a short form off Another words, e got ego. It also means this thing. But in the spoken language, we will use eager to instead of ego. And then the second word we will learn here is a verb which is Jew, that through that means to give to give Okay so ego to say all day sentence is very easy. It means police. Give me this priest. Give me this. So the grammar point we will learn Here s use now plus Jews a up now plastic juicio. So it means to ask others Give us something and that something off course is it is a nam. Okay, so let's see some examples. We wasn't tone Just a, uh, potent Josiah Tone is money. I always did This sentence is they sentenced to my parents when I was young as told. Josiah it miss, please give me money. I want to buy something. Okay? Or for example, you are learning Peruvian now. And you want your teacher give you some homework, right? And then you can say so day to say, Oh, so day to say also is homework. So please give me homework and then your tutor will think, Wow, you're really a good student. Okay? And then let me give you some tips so eager can be used to several times in the one centers . So, for example, if you want to order a hamburger, potato chips and the cooler at the same time, and then you can use your finger to point on the menu and sick iga iga iga to say, Oh, off course, the first big armies Hambor The second Egat means the potato shapes and off course. The last one meets the cola. Okay, so when you are traveling in Korea, you can use your finger and the way you say Egat. So they are you got, you got a sale, and then you can order anything that you want to order in the like, coffee shop or any restaurant. Okay? 4. in the restaurant - sentence 2: sentence to case him hate you Say yo kids on Nigel's. So it means Can I have the bill, please? So it is also very useful when you are traveling in Korea, right? And because you want to buy something or you are aiding something you want to get a bill so you'll use the sentence every day when you are traveling. So here we will learn two new words as well. The first new word is case on how that kid somehow that so it means to calculate or to come . And then the second verb we already learned in the first sentence It is to that Jew that means to give to give. And then here we will learn new grammar point, which is verb plus are all y'all do that I all yard to that Do that means to give however we will use were Plus, I all your true that to call somebody to do something for us and it is applied for if you use Oh, your jewels sale how you'll choose a up. Okay, so here we use the verb case and Hatta So we was it case, huh? Hitches? Hey up kiss on pitches he Oh. So let's see some other examples. We will put other verbs before oil. Judah, for example. The 1st 1 car did see that coliseum is to teach. So police teach me right to call somebody to do something for you to teach you. So we will take our guitar to stay up car. Ditto jail. All right. You are in the place that you don't know. So you want to other to help you? You are in the difficult situation, right? You will use the work that took them is to help to help so to what to say Uh topped a class . How you do that? It is a watches. Hail means to have please help me or you can use another verb surmount How that explained Because you don't understand others and the Please explain it to me. Right? You can say so. Mill Hedges Hey up It's home! Young here, Jersey up! Some of you will be a little bit curious. Why? The word college Sida topped as her name had a even Kison had a plus our oil Judah the last oh character is disappeared. Or why the second last character is changed right. So if you want to know more about it, you can visit languages. Guy. Don't come slash 15 sentences to download the pdf file for you to learn more. 5. in the restaurant - sentence 3: center's three pull down hedges A are pulled, um, hedges. Eo they sentence means I want to take up. So because when you are traveling sometimes maybe you don't want to ate at the restaurant about to take out or to eight in the room in your hotel, right? So after ordinary, you can say poor dumb handles here toe others to know that you want to take up. So in this sentence, we will see just one new word. It is Putin had a poodle had pulled ahead. That is avert means to package. And then so here the grammar a point is not new. We already mentioned it incentives to So we will just past it. Let's see the cheap off the sentence. You know that chest elation off port ahead. Ozio is I want to take out. However I want to take house. Isn't the literary test elation The letter of the translation off Putin handles Hail its police, pack it up for me or police rabbit up for me. However, when we are using it, we will. It just means I want to take out in Korean. Okay, so next time, if you travel to Korea and then you want to try some food and to take it out. You can say what? Okay, Cool down. Just a young for that. Hitches he up? 6. in the restaurant - sentence 4: centers floor should tell Manuka in Niall two ton manuka in Nile. It means do you have some recommended menu? Actually, when you we are traveling, we don't know that city or a country Very well, right? It is really annoying if we don't know what to eat in the new place Don't worry. You can ask the waiter there to tell men you got in Nile. So here we will learn screen your words. The first word is too Tom Chittum if and now it means recommendation, recommendation. And then the second of IHS also announced the pronunciation is menu. I think you know what it means the same as English Manu Korean pronunciation is Manu menu. Okay, The last word is it that it means to half to half. So the new grammar point here is verb or adjective Plus, Now you now you now you is a constant form. Normally, when we ask a question, we will just say Oh, you're you how you know you. So what's the difference between these two grammar points? Okay, so well, we use now you it gives the feeling that we are especially curious to know something compared with Justin using all your you. So for example, we can say uh, East Sile. It's SIA it, miss. Just do you have Do you have But in Iowa as that do you have? You know, I'm curious to know if you have or not the feeling like that. Okay, so here we should be focused. Or we should be careful with the changes in pronunciation because in Korean, there are a lot off pronunciation changes. So here. Well, we see it Plus now you the pronunciation Well changed too in denial in Iowa. So the sentence we have to say as to some manuka in now you but not to tell men you got it now you are very strange. Ok, last priest. Really follow me. Okay to some manuka in Nile.
