About This Class
From a Deaf person with easy lessons, learn the alphabet of ASL and how to introduce yourself, your name, your identity and start communicating with the Deaf community. This lesson is prerequisite for future advanced lessons on family, time, seasons, activities and so forth.
Hands-on Class Project
Have a short conversation with a Deaf person! Meet a deaf person (pretend or real), introduce yourself, give your name and tell your identity. Ask for the deaf person's name. Ask how they are doing. Respond back. Start a basic conversation. Upload the short video.
