1. Introduction: Hi. My name is Alyssa Stormer and I'm the owner of the voter color shop. In this class you will learn how to paint the sage. The class includes Leinart, which you can download from the class resources menu. So you don't need to struggle. Be growing. Is that you can just injured painting in the end. This is what you get if you follow my instructions. This class is suitable for total beginners. So don't be afraid. I will guide you step by step through the whole process. Here you re learned to paint the moon a sage plant and the mystery folk our as well. And we are going to talk a bit about color Ferarri. So what are you waiting for? A role in the class now and have a relaxing fun time where you can express your creativity freely with me. See you in the class 2. Tools: tours. For this painting, you would need a voter color paper and round voter color brushes and voter color pains for the moon. You need a yellow green, so you hello and the bright orange paint for the sage plant. You need the sap green, a dark green and the no leave green paint for the misty clouds. You don't need a specific color color it, But blues, purpose and violets can create a lovely misty look. You would also need the Leinart printed out. You can download it from the class Resource is manu or from the sling. And finally, you need the tracing paper for coping the liner toe the voter color paper. If you are not familiar with the tracing method, I will explain it in the next widow. 3. Tracing The Line Art: tracing. If you know how to trace the liner to your voter color paper, you can skip this lesson and jumped right in tow. The painting lessons for those of you who have no idea how to trace here, is my easy mattered. So you will need a line. Act off the painting a tape the past year and the tracing paper. Put the tracing paper on the voter color paper. The ink aside should face the voter colored paper. Put the Leinart on it and move it to the right place. Then fix the liner to the voter color paper with tape so that it won't move by. You are tracing. Then trace the lines with the pants here. We careful not to me south any lines with the pants here. Alternatively, you can use a recompense here so you can see it more easier. Pitch parts off the liner you have already traced. A common mistake is to me south parts off the lines. So here I drove the missing leaf freehand. Now it's option er toe. Emphasize the lines with a black man. If you choose to use the pan, be sure to use a voter proof man where you drove. You can rotate your paper so it will be more comfortable to draw. More over. Your lines will look nicer. I used various pant sizes because varying the lines thickness would make the artwork more interesting. That's it all that you are finished. Be sure. Toe erased. The tracers blew in with a razor. 4. Painting The Moon: painting the moon. So first I started with a yellow pained. My goal is to create an even and smooth yellow surface. If you prefer, you can use a smaller brush as well. There you feel doubt everything with the yellow mix a yellow orange paint. It should be a light, bright orange color. Paint it over the yellow on the outer side. Off the moon sees the yellow paint east ear that you can easily blend the orange with the yellows by using little light brush strokes. The reason behind adding these orange pains is to make the moon's shape more Freedy. If the yellow pains have already dried, you can blend the pains by moistening the surface with a clear red brush that you are finished. Let the moon dry. 5. Painting The Leaves: painting the sage. First I start with a yellow green paint. I used a little paint it a lotof water, as this will be our base color. Where I the yellow green with green pains. If it's too dark, add voter but your brush until it lightens up. Your goal is to make the basically year light. You can blend the greens and the yellow greens. They can create a lovely texture together. Paint stems with a light green in voter colored. All these proceeds from light colors, so dark colors. So as much as it's possible, please avoid darker colors in the Baisley Year variety. Greens, media, yellow greens until the whole plant discovered with paint finally being the stem when the basically your dried at olive green on the bottom off the leaves and understands. As this is our secondly year, you can become border here with the dark colors. Put the olive green on the bottom of the leaves, and if it's too much, you can remove the excess. Paint it a clean tissue. Put the greens on the big gains off the leaves tube. Here, our goal is to start creating the shadows on the plant it's okay if it makes rough edges and don't blending perfectly as thesis would make an interesting texture on the leaves, where you are finished with the olive greens. You can put yellows on the top off the leaves as yellows would make the plant pop out even more now. Come are. Last year died brings paint them on the bottom off the leaves as they would indicate the shadows. There you are finished. Let the leaves try. 6. Painting The Mist: mystic clouds. So first I start with the light brush off pains. Here I use blue and violet and that blue for the second cloud. I continue with some greens. I don't care about the clouds in their lines. It's not a problem if the colors flow into each other. All after is to stay inside the cloud's outer line. I move on to the big cloud with a light blue, and I add the darker blue and yellow. When I choose the colors next to each other, it's quite intuitive process. My only strategy is that I try to peek analogous colors, which means colors who stand next to each other on the color veal. For example. If I painted an orange color, I would pick next either a yellow or Iraq tone. Or if I painted the blue. I would pick next either green or violet color. I choose analogous color palettes here because they harmonize each other very well. Soft, fluffy, colorful clouds. If you feel a color is too dark, you can always remove it with a clean tissue. Please don't stress too much on the color palette off the cloud. If it's bright and colorful, We're doing it right. Stayed relaxed. Why you are painting breathes deeply and from time to time give yours. Have a little break It haps to step back from your vert to get an impression off the whole image where you feel you are finished, let it dry. 7. Final Words + You Have a Gift: Congress. Now you are finished. Now you have a painting similar like this. Please don't forget to upload your artwork in the project gallery so I can review it. And if you want, I can help you.
