About This Class

This course provides learners with the fundamental words and phrases needed to start communicating in French. Perfect for absolute beginners, each lesson starts with either a dialogue or a text, after which you're provided with a vocabulary group related to the topics like greetings, numbers, colors, family, food, animals, weather, and more.

By the end of the course, students will have acquired over 250 basic vocabulary words that serve as the foundation for constructing simple French phrases and sentences. The vocabulary is introduced through clear explanations, useful examples, straightforward pronunciations, and engaging exercises to reinforce retention. Photos and illustrations also accompany the vocabulary for added context.

Learners will progressively build their confidence in using introductory-level French vocabulary for everyday conversations and situations. Whether asking how someone is feeling, describing the weather, ordering food, discussing one's family, talking about hobbies, or expressing likes and dislikes, this vocabulary course will provide the fundamental lexical tools needed.

With about ten new vocabulary words introduced in lessons, this course is perfectly paced for beginner learners looking to establish French language competency from the ground up. The main goal is to provide you with a solid foundation of 1,250 common and useful words to start conversation in French. In daily life situations, discourse consists of 20 lessons. Each one begins with a dialogue or short conversation to immerse you in realistic scenarios. We'll then study the key vocabulary used with a translation and example setens in French. To practice, you have two options. First of all, you can do the exercises in the pedo file that is shared with you. They will allow you to check your understanding of the new worlds. Secondly, I strongly recommend creating your own flash cards or using an app to generate them. This will greatly reinforce memorization of the new worlds. At the end of this course, you will master hundreds of words and expresions introduced through the lessons. You'll then be ready to hold basic conversations, infringe on various daily topics.
